helinues:If I may ask, dragged by who? Who would gather momentum and do that to Falana? |
fergie001:What is the proof that she is the voice of the people? Imagine the Senator now using age as a useful tool to demand apology. If him tell you say "to hug transformer" is not an insult wetin you go now talk? |
BluntCrazeMan:It may not necessarily need to pass through the NA if it's an FCT thing just like the FCT civil service done by the FCT minster. If I'm not mistaken the youth ministry will be under the purview of the FCT Minister from what my thoughts are telling. |
Kobojunkiee:Not every headline is correct. At least try watch NTA. PBAT only set up a committee and not a ministry. |
Kobojunkiee:I don't know when he approved such amount but what I do know is that there is no such thing as a Ministry of Livestock mentioned or approved by PBAT. |
sIfioksq:Please what will be the work of that youth ministry and how many persons will be employed in it and what will their job functions be? |
GanagiBitrus:The Nigerian Government does not need to subsidize it. What is needed is that the REFINERIES are put in proper working order, functional and operational. If they can't do that then we don't need a Minister of Petroleum, we don't need people whom the government claim are working in NNPC and in the REFINERIES that refines absolutely nothing. Modified: When we have functional and operational REFINERIES, then the FG government ensures that the BPD of CRUDE OIL is increased exponentially and add more derivatives. Encourage those who do bunkering in the bushes and swamp in the Niger Delta region and empower them to build refineries that would receive crude that can be refined even if it's only kerosene and petrol they refine. Revoke all licences given to people over 10 years who have not built their refineries. At designated points ensure barges of such products are on the water ways to meet the demand for boat users for water transportation. Those persons whom the FG gives surveillance contracts let them go into building refineries and let the Nigerian Navy, Nigerian Army, Nigerian Airforce and a joint task force be properly empowered to secure our water ways with that money used as patronage to these Ex militants for surveillance contracts. |
sIfioksq:The first court SHC put a restraining order and a Federal HC countered it and gave them go ahead. You now bring up another SHC to put an injunction preventing them from going ahead. Please what was the first one for? What is the difference between the two SHCs? Do you know that the RS governor, government and persons are just abusing court processes with different SHC judges!!!! I just pity some judges in the State that would fall under disciplinary action soon. |

Odewaleadesoye:No one plans that the protest turns disruptive but I guess that's why the security operatives are for and even if it does turns disruptive then it means those who caused it are sponsored by those who don't want the protest to be. |

ify2016:Oga Dele, it's a faceless people led protest because it's not Ovation magazine that's showcases the faces of the rich who are able to afford you. It's faceless people protest because the intention is not to have a repeat of the mistakes of what happened at the Lekko yow gate where those who have faces used it as an opportunity to grow their accounts with funds and in the process of speaking of those who are with them collected amount of monies that till date they could not account for what it was used for. A faceless people's protest is the best form of protest where everyone is a leader. |
MeghaneMorgane:Hope you're aware children learn from an early age most especially what they see. Even a child who is yet to speak learns much more from those that child sees. |
MeghaneMorgane:It seems like a kind of fun game between the two of you. I guess you're still in dating. Have you fellas asked yourself if thats how you intend to live if you eventually get married and probably raise children through this method and knowing that your children will learn such from you as well? |
officialwdhtv:Is the Senate President referring to tailors or fashion designers? The first person he needs to ask this direct question is the tailor who sews his African attires of they pay that amount to those they employ. |
jyz200:Let's take the 1 year in office as a student who is in the 100 level of a prestigious higher institution. Can the FG or those who are sympathetic to it's cause tell the rest of us what's the (C.) G.P.A of it's administration? We have measured the activity of the Ministers of the FRN and on a national flow it's very insignificant to the well being of the nation. |
Chinkoalhaji34:A sane clime will allow the protest but put in measures that miscreants will not overturn it as we are hearing that some persons are trying to form an anti protest group.. It's an absurd practice. What we all clamour is for the good of all sane right thinking individuals irrespective of tribe and religion. Now, no one can say any government is not focused on results delivering but the true question is where are the results? Because results are proofs and can't be hidden!!! This administration which is a continuation of the previous administration came to be as a result of a national protest which they were allowed to undetake and they were not threatened by the administration of the day back then. No sensible person threatens another preventing and depriving such from his constituted rights. Another question is how long should one wait to be able to see results because it's that same how long that this present admnisration and the previous did not wait or give the PGEJ even in the midst of the results seen and enjoyed by the economy and people of the time. There's no such thing as constructive dialogue because it's only constructive on paper and not on ground as far as Nigeria is concerned. May we refrain from every form of hypocrisy. |
iwaeda:Madam Minister you have done very well to inform us of the kind of deals that happens behind the scenes in every WB loan that comes into the country. I guess with the proofs you have you should formally write the Attorney General, IGP and the EFCC bosses to further investigate this issue and those involved should suffer the wrath of the law. Nevertheless, it's not witch hunting, you also have to answer to the allegations of the monies those within your ministry and possibly including you might have mismanaged that the National Assembly inquires from you... |
Kosiso12:Hypocrisy to the gullible and simple minded who will always fall victim to the whimps of ill minded individuals. When Mohammed Buhari, Bola Tinubu, Atiku, Saraki, and so many in the Muslim community staged a protest against the admnisration of PGEJ why did we not hear that such is forbidden in Islam? It's only the blind who can't see the dangers, wrong use and application of religion in political issues and welfare of the common man. I only pity those whose brains have and will forever be wired to follow such persons who speak with both sides of their mouth. They don't have integrity whatsoever. Their words have never had salt in it. |
politicoNG:The headline of this writeup by whatsoever journalist or columnist is quite misleading. It's also obvious reading some comments of persons who probably did not understand the judgment by the court or probably their brains have been completely wired for sentiments and harbouring ill thoughts towards one party. The court only did a favor to the Fubara team by informing the Amaewhule team to put the other persons on notice of the injunction. It's just like NLC giving the FG an extension of extra 7 days warning of strike after exhausting the initial one. This is done thereby that by the time the time for the case is to be heard there will be no excuse that the Fubara team has not been given enough notice. This is done because the FHC still recognizes the Amaewhule team as still Speaker and members of the RSHA and their seats have not been lost yet by them by those who think they have lost their seats or been declared vacant by another set of assembly members. |
naturalman:Port Harcourt refinery will work when and at what point in time? That refinery is nothing but a mirage. I wonder of what use do we have both Kyari and Lokpobiri in that sector!!! |
zombieHUNTER:Probably you bought that yam at #10k in Spain. |
madridguy:It's only gullible thinkers that don't see outside the norm. We have gone past issues of religion. The truth about any religion and most especially the individuals practicing such, is that any thing found and built on a wrong foundation will always give fruits depicting same nature. So no one absolutely can give out what (s)he does not possess within. |
Moderator101:It's very clear that the lawmakers are not interested in providing solid lasting and substainable solutions to the problems caused by their bad leadership styles, good governance and administration. Imagine them calling on security agencies to go into talks with so called persons they call instigators. The last admnisration and likewise this present one have always stood against protests with even people from within sponsoring an anti protest against those who truly agitate for good. Meanwhile they forgot that they came into office because the government and administration of PGEJ allowed them to go.in their protests. It's high time we put away sentiments to enable the nation grow and the common man be able to enjoy good governance and get benefits of democracy as it ought to be. When the real uprising will come forth nothing can stop it, not even the security agencies or those who think they are given to anti protest. |
figment232:The court you're referring to that the Appeal Court has said they lacked jurisdiction on the issues. The purported Speaker who declared the seats vacant thought it wise to take the office of CoS!!!!! Don't you think it's absurd? Why will I as a law maker and as the NUMBER 3 man in the State take another office below the one I already have!!! Well, whatever is behind this decision i hope it aids his political career. |
figment232:Let's wait till the SC gives their judgment to those who went there. Then the eyes and ears will be very clear afterwards. |
JAOS:A precondition for nonsense accepted by nonsense based on the fear of unknown nonsense coming from non sense. |
FreeStuffsNG:Let the CBN go and use pension funds for such purposes and repay later when it's time for pensioners to collect. Let the FG and CBN put up laws that will encourage politicians and others with stolen public funds to come to their rescue. |
Newlymarried:Is the IG-P referring to those perpetuated by the security operatives themselves against those they took oath to protect, or is he referring to corruption and financial related crimes perpetuated by political office holders at all levels? |
mohbadliveson:Three's nothing bold in what they the North are doing. Absolutely nothing bold. They only appeal to themselves, the gullible and simple minded individuals. If they want to show that they are really bold and courageously let them take it to the forefront of the Boko Haram boys, Fulani herdsmen, bandits, and all those kidnapping little children and girls and women in the North, all those ravaging farm lands in the entire North and displacing indigenes from their homes and farm lands. PBAT has handicapped them that's why they are speaking because the largese entering the pocket no longer cones. They don't care about the North but about their pockets. |
BenuePolitician:If Benue State can pay the #70k minimum wage then any State saying they can't pay then know that indigenes of that State residing elsewhere ought not to complain about governors who are not from their land. |
Starberg:You did not make mention the type of government work and also private job. Some years ago, a friend called for a meeting with those if his closer friends and asked this same question. The government job was in the Nigerian Railway and the private was a sub contractor firm to one of the IOCs. He would basically be like a PA to the main boss. We all adviced him to go with the subcontractor work based on the fact that if he has an eye for side business or any form of ideal investment then it's a go. He chose the later and he was able to achieve alot not until his boss kicked the bucket and the another firm was given the contract. He is not doing bad at all till date. |
