You guys make it seem like Fubara could have said No. The office of an AG iss for career people while that of the governor is not. If you refrain from sentiment and hatred for Wike and If you have anyone in your family who is a Civil Servant who must risen to the ranks of Director and above please ask him to give you their book of ethics, code and conduct. |

He is already in not just hot water but boiling water. He is just only stalling. The only thing he needs to do is to put food on the table through massive employment of the unemployed, promotion of civil servants and payment of upgraded salaries, benefits and pensions. Massive key infrastructural projects that wil aid trade and commerce from rural communities to urban centres. Create more city centres outside the major key LGAs. |

He dey rely on Judges wey Wike don bribe and build 100 mansions for. Even if he does that a time will come when he would be called to answer for the bombing of the State House Assembly Building. That case will be the SHA vs the individual or group of individuals who did that act. |

How will he have been working with Commissioners who will be cleared by the Assembly?
How will he have been functioning with the Sword of Damocles hanging on his head?

fergie001: SOURCE It's a pity that at the end of the day this Speaker and his co- travellers suspension will turn into vacation of office and it's their seats that INEC will conduct election for to fill. The former speaker who now is the Chief of Staff to the governor will be the one probably in the payroll of the RSG. It's just a matter of time. These men will have no place to hide. I only hope they have houses overseas to go for self exile. |

Autodidact1: It's now time for the Niger Delta to stand up and ask for break up of this country. Because NDDC was created for obvious reasons, every region is now asking for their own and soon 13% will be scrapped because the agitation that gave rise to these things has died down. It's the responsibility of those who represents the Niger Delta region both in the Senate and HoR to ask that question where will the funds from such gotten from. Because the NDDC gets it's funds from the oil revenue in the region. Already there's a NEDC and one can't say where they get their funding and it's likely they are a parasitic establishment. So likewise will all the others. |

My concern is where will their funds be pulled from because there's no local resources within their regions that significant funds can be gotten unlike that from the NDDC . |

AbokiWam: My Salary is a little above #100, 000 naira, My friends know I am working which brings enormous pressure on me, They think it is a high paying job because of the Corporate dressing and all.
I don't Know if it is the hardship from this era, but now 4 out of every phone calls someone receives is usually them asking you to lend them money. Currently self I am skeptical of answering phone calls. Work Colleagues also do not spare you in this regard.
My problem now is I am too soft hearted, Any small story and I am already heading to my bank app to do transfer for,
Beginning of June, money I lent to a total number of 7 different people was running into almost 60,000 naira. At the start of July, Only two people have paid me back (5000 & 4000)
Because of that I promised myself not to lend anyone money again from my salary, but Just this morning I got a call from someone I know , he was crying to me of his salary being delayed at work. He pleaded with me to lend him #10,000 which I obliged, Knowing fully well I wont get my money back (He has borrowed 8k from me before without paying back)
I think something is wrong with me, I can even go to loan app to borrow and gift a friend if I don't Have
Same borrowing habit almost ruined my Dad, it destroyed his friendship with a close pal, he borrowed his friend #800,000 back IN 2011 when money still had value, the friend refused paying and that crumbled his business for a while.
My Mom have warned me if I continue, I might experience same.
I really need to change... If every one should pay me money they have owed me, I would be able to buy honda baby boy This is a bad habit I need to stop. It's good to assist those who have financial burdens but you should also know that especially for those who borrow and refuses to pay back then you should know that such persons should not be given again especially if those persons are also on a work that gives them a monthly take home that's constant. Anyways, this is usually my advice to those who have a soft heart to assisting financial. (1) If you pay rent on the house you stay....... please plan towards building yours. (2) Try to look for a side hustle to do even if it's an online business or if you have a trusted person whom you can partner with but ensure you check the financial records at least twice a month. |

Also preparing for 2027 elections, God pass Wike, Ganduje and Tinubu. Exactly the model he used for judiciary in Rivers state for 8 years, let's see how he goes with this in Abuja. If there are no befitting houses for them then it's part of his responsibility as FCT Minister and it's also their entitlement as judges to have good houses to reside. |

There will be no need for anyone to pursue this case further. My advice is that Gov. Fubara focuses on ensuring that he puts continues with the yet to be completed projects on ground and do others that meets the needs of the people. He should decrease the unemployment gap by employing more persons into the various sectors of the State Civil Service. Priority should be given to Agriculture and agro allied produce and products. Put to useful use all the Health Centres built by the CRA administration that are yet to be in use and same with the Model Primary Schools. Just make the entire State a infrastructural and developmental hub. |

The same PDP National that once announced that the 27 were no longer their members and called for INEC to conduct elections to fill the seats.
All that changed when Damagun decided to sell his soul.
But for the oath and sworn affidavit, they are liable for prosecution cus they did lie under oath. I don't think the PDP National ever did that. It all came from the State PDP. |

I actually believe they can wriggle their way out of this.
And that's only only only because Nigeria itself is a comedy skit.
A shit hole country only fit for animals and animalistic tendencies! Sworn affidavit for defection is not permitted in Court. There are rules and laws. If you want to resign from a job that you were duly employed, do you go and get an affidavit for such ? |

The letters were read at the sitting of a plenary in the hallowed chambers? Is that what you call skits? This implies that every sitting of that speaker with the house of Assembly members are also skit? So you perform skits in the hallowed chambers?

Cherrybae: Wike camp will won the case. The state high court lacks the jurisdiction to entertain the matter.
Also, PDP told the court the 24 lawmakers are their members while APC maintain the lawmakers are not their members.
Video evidence or affidavit not enough to proof this case.
Fubara camp may head to supreme Court but may not secure a stay of execution.
The 24 lawmakers are likely to resume sitting from tomorrow.
Jumbo and the others will remain suspended.
Fubara may lose this but that of the LGA he Fubara has an upper hand. Regarding the bolded, logically there's actually no upper hand for Fubara. It can't be said he won literally because though the tenure of the former elected chairmen was not extended, those who were made Caretaker Chairmen will be easily removed from office because both are unconstitutional if one sites the Federal Constitution which is the bedrock on which all other constitution stands upon. The only middle ground now will be that they will have to handover to the most senior LG officer in each LG to administer. |

Macphenson: With the dance Wike danced some days ago, I think he is confident of the out come of the judgement.
Looks like he has clearly done his underground work. He does not need to do any kind of underground work on this particular issue. The members defection is a comedy skit. As members of a State Assembly, their defections should be duly and properly written on a letter headed paper and signed by them and issued to their respective Ward Chairmen and also a copy handed to the National Leadership in Abuja. That is the process and that is what those before them and even recently have done as it relates to defection. Now, you still can't say they are members of the APC for there's no record of them in the official records of the party. |

ddippset: What do you mean by mention?
There are hundreds of roads in the very rural areas of the FCT that require work. I don't have to tell you.
The onus is on you to mention the water projects, health projects, job opportunities, educational projects that Wike has done.
Apart from these road projects costing billions with a lot of kickbacks.
The FCT senator is no different from the other senators from the 36 states.
They sponsor bills for the country, not necessarily for their respective states.
We are talking of attracting projects to their constituencies which Wike is not allowing her do.
Wike is collaborating with Akpabio to frustrate her. Hon. Ireti Kingibe is of the HoR....now this is my understanding of their roles. They in particular sponsor bills not necessarily for the nation in their minds but with their constituents and constituency. This is their primary responsibility. The collecting of funds for constituency projects is what I call CSR and I don't see how the FCT Minister and Akpabio can hinder her because just as her colleagues take such funds, it's their entitlement. Those in the SENATE are vested with sponsoring bills for national interest which is supposed to be their primary responsibility and the other as an oversite function. So it's primary for one and oversite for the other and vice versa. As regarding roads in the rural areas of the FCT I think I heard somewhere that the PBAT told the Minister not to start any new project but but should focus on any abandoned projects from previous administrations. Nevertheless, it's the duty of Hon. Ireti Kingibe to take note of such rural areas and place emphasis on one or two or three and let it be considered for construction, maintenance or whatever the case maybe rather than calling the Minister names uncalled for. The water, health and educational projects will come in due time thereby creating job opportunities be it direct or indirect. Like I said, the HoR says she is closer to the people meaning she knows what's lacking so let her go and meet the Hon. Minister and do the needful. Let her do the needful. |
