An entrepreneur should know what is logically and ideally good to pay their employee given the type of services the business outfit renders and the profit after sales, etc,etc.

This actually happened during the era of the second World War. As we know the British were suffering at he hand of Germans and they were desperate to win the War, they needed money and resources so they pulled as many as they could get from their colonies, including Nigeria.

They built harbours, roads, Airfields, hospitals, anything to make their exploitation easier. Thousand of Nigerian Men were recruited into the Army to fight in the second World. Even at that, they still needed more.

They imposed some monetary policies and they rationed food so they could have enough to export for their wars. The government was in charge of food distribution and people would have to queue for days to buy Garri.

They wanted to tax market women. Then we had Alimotu Pelewura, a Nigerian woman led a protest to curb this action. British Government were like "British women pay tax, why should Nigerian women be any different" and Pelewura replied she said "All of Nigeria's wealth was being taken to Britain hence the British women could pay tax because they were Rich". She organized the market and told them to boycott sales of Garri to the Govt. This made the Govt and the security agents "declared war"

The Government started arresting those who sold Garri privately but NIGERIANS are very resourceful so the Fa-ya-wo got involved (Fa-ya-wo is what the Yorubas call Smugglers). The Fa-ya-wo would crawl on their bellys(hence their name) to steal Garri from government stores and sell in private. Garri had it own black market. The govt found it very hard to solve this problem, they tried to bribe Halimatu Pelewura to come to their side but she didn't sell her conscience .

So when next you see garri, show some respect oo

He is saying what every governor and government does if at all they conduct the LGEs. So arresting him will mean you'll have to arrest all governors who have governed in all the States including all the former FCT Ministers.

It's a Federal Agency vested with the powers to conduct the LGEs in the 774 LGAs.

You need to find a copy of the amended constitution for LG autonomy.

If the FG can't pay #150k minimum then let them also partake in the minimum wage they propose after all there's nothing that important that they offer Nigeria.
If they offer something good since 1999 the nation would have been better placed like the UAE and Malaysia in terms of economy and development.

All these are mop up stories because they don't have any known date of operation that the refinery will start. This is just for the PH Refinery.

(1) They are yet to show proof of the defection in a court of law?
(2) The FHC has already said the SHC lacks jurisdiction and thereby all that was pronounced is null and void.


There are many sides to defection but I would not rather say on that since that aspect was never brought up in thr court.

The autonomy is just for the collection of the allocations, not for the spending of the allocations. Each parish will still pay tithes to the headquarter.

I support local government autonomy. But the new policy will not achieve the autonomy. Remember that the elections will be conducted by state INEC, not the main INEC. With this, governors will make their puppets LGA chairmen and decide how those chairmen spend the federal allocations.

If you think the chairmen can decide to disobey the governors, think of how many LGA chairmen that are clean enough to boldly and successfully disobey their political godfathers. Remember that the puppets selected as LGA chairmen are the ones with rotten profiles that can be used to blackmail and silence those chairmen when those chairmen prove stubborn.

Do you not know that INEC will be mandated soon to conduct LGC electionsand that all State Electoral Commissions will be abolished....

Fubara is working and doing very well even more than most governors without interference.

This is just them trying to be relevant, the government is still spending, they can't impeach him they're only just trying to save face, the earlier they know they are gone the better for them. So they can use their time to better their lives and that of their families, because this is just a waste of time,they can't stop the state from spending even if they get a court judgement, which they tried to secure but no judge will give that order.

Who is the person that gave that order that the court or judge should not entertain their request in the Rivers State?

Who are the Southern States Governors that will stand to come fight Wike?
Are you referring to those whom Wike himself used State resources to fight opposition on their behalf or gifted them State funds to alleviate their infrastructural development and poverty. Apologies they don't exist. There is nobody who would want to use financial resources even if they give them the entire State funds for 12 calender months to challenge Wike. Such person dont exist now as a governor and even past governors.
