Christistruth00:I don't think I'm the one twisting things here. In your previous link, you were accusing the Igbos of relocating the ijaws of Abonema to igboland which in the Igbos defence is to avoid civilian casualties because you can't be moving to claim somebody's land by relocating them to your own land instead you chase them away from the land. Now this your current link by the man that accuses both Ndigbo, Nigeria and later ijaws after the creation of Rivers state for ogonis misfortune in the person of Ken saro wiwa, you are now accusing the same Igbos for the death of the ogonis that were not relocated to igboland and had to die in the crossfire of Nigerian and Biafran battle cannons. Now to the so called "Igbo reprisals" that contributed to the death of the acclaimed 4000 Ogoni, reprisal according to the English dictionary is the act of retaliation, now answer me, where there a theater in the war where the ogonis fought the biafran forces that resulted in the so called Igbo reprisals? I believe the reprisals the confused man was talking about was the reprisals of the biafran forces directed to the Nigerian forces occupying Ogoni land which at that time was part of Biafran territory, so the case of civilian casualties in such attack still boils down to the refusal of the people of Ogoni to be evacuated to igboland which you can't hold Ndigbo responsible for. |
Christistruth00:I took my time to read your piece and what I could pick up in reference to your 4000 killed by Biafra propaganda was "four thousand Ogoni died from forced relocation and Ibo reprisals, shelled by federal troops, the ogonis were then persecuted by Biafrans". If I may ask, who were the federal troops? Are they not Nigerian forces? Speaking about confused fellow, was your piece not from Ken saro wiwa's ethnocentric biased propaganda? You now see the reason why Abacha executed him for doing what I call terrorism in form of journalism. The dude accused both Biafra and Nigeria for the death of 4,000 Ogoni but castigated Igbos when they proposed for civilians to be relocated to igboland for protection. The same confused fellow later runs around accusing Nigeria up and down before Abacha put a stop to such madness by ending him in the good old effective fashion. But you a good Yoruba history revisionist chose not to include the Nigeria your source claimed contributed to the 4000 Ogoni death and accused only Biafra for obvious reasons. Please if you want to carry out such futile propaganda put it this way "4000 Ogoni plus saro wiwa and nine other Ogoni Chiefs who were murdered by Nigeria under Gen Sani Abacha's regime" |
Guestlander:Link to your "yoruba destroying Biafrans at ore" |
Christistruth00:Haven't you heard the phrase "to the Victor goes the spoils"? The Igbos arranging for the ijaws in abonema to be relocated to igboland during the war was a known emergency approach during war to reduce civilian casualties and avoid ethnocentric genocide and massacres like what was witnessed in Asaba which the average black ignorant ijaw abonema indigenes failed to understand instead they saw it as being robbed off their land by Igbos which cost Biafra the town and later on port Harcourt. To see the one sided nature of such myopic misunderstanding, the ijaws now celebrate the day as liberation day from Igbos yet blame Igbos for their civilian casualties and still blame the same Nigerians for neglect and deception. Speaking of ignorant fellows, wasn't saro wiwa accused of being confused and ethnocentric before facing the squad where his nemesis (ojukwu) was the last he saw in Human form. Your link did not prove your "deported" allegation but was for an entirely different saga |
Christistruth00:I am not sure you read your link. You said initially that Igbos were deported from oil rich areas and posted this link to prove your point but it says otherwise. This is the extract from the link. "Pipo for Abonnema dey dress up and act di tins wey happun 50 years ago 21 June 1968 na date pipo for Nyemoni community alias Abonnema for Rivers state, south south Nigeria no go quick quick forget. Dis na sake of say for dis day, 50 years ago, Biafra soldiers cari force enta di community to drag pipo comot go live for Igboland, south east Nigeria. How Biafra pipo shut down south east Nigeria Buhari re-election go give us Biafra - Ipob Tori be say dem march evribodi for di town to di Niger dock river so dem go enta boat wey go carri dem comot. Di Biafra soldiers also arrest King Davies Bobmanuel wey be Abonnema traditional ruler for dat time. Biafra soldiers for 1968 Di King bin beg di soldiers say instead make dem comot im pipo for dia land, make dem carri only am go but di soldiers no wan hear. But around 12 o clock for afternoon, u-turn happun as Nigeria soldiers enta Abonnema wit mission to fight di Biafrans and help Abonnema pipo. Na from Buguma community di Nigerian fighters bin take enta Abonnema and e no tey before dem pursue di Biafra soldiers comot, come free di town. Abonnema pipo use 21 June evri year to remember dia pipo wey die for Nigeria Civil War From dat time, 21 June don turn special day for Abonnema to mark dia 'freedom' for di hand of Biafran soldiers during di Nigeria civil war. E normal to see many pipo for di town to dey wear costume wey include army uniform and to act di tins wey happun for 1968. Dis ceremony wey dem name, 'Go to Niger' na for evri year dem dey do am and na time to jollificate." |
AniOmaa:For the record, nobody deported anybody in the eastern region. Please read about the war from first person narrations, if you don't like the biafran sources use the Nigerian sources, I believe Obasanjo and Co have their own view about the war and none of them talked about deportation but here you are, a revisionist proposing what you imagine |
Christistruth00:Yorubas and lies sha. Where is the proof for this white lie? What do you think was the population of entire ogoni indigenes in 1960s? See him mouth like 4000 and there are still people in ogoni today .The only known massacre of such scale during the war was Asaba massacre where Nigerian army implemented the Herold style and wiped all men of above 7 years |
I don't understand the reason for covering them with white towel |
Igbo AMAKA |
There is an old wise saying that goes this way "people criticize you when you do something they want but don't have the guts to attempt it" and this post is a perfect illustration of it. The yorubas want to secede from Nigeria but doesn't have the guts to go for it that's why they criticize Igbos for daring to do that they long for but aren't man enough to try |
Ngeria's greatest natural resource (both mineral, non mineral and beer resource) is the Igbos. God gave the Igbos to the Nigerians for them to compete internationally but the Children of hate from a particular region have corrupted the mind of those at the helm of affairs in Nigeria that the gift God gave to them are being used and cherished by other countries. I have nothing else to say but Igbo AMAKA!

It's nice they drew something real and educative at the back of N5 unlike others they had to improvise, example is that Zuma rock they finished ushering in the new bill, took a look through the window and drew the first thing they saw |
Despite the states humongous IGR |
E2easy:Please Mr Man, don't bring Ndigbo to this fruitless battle of stupidity by Esan and Bini. Just know this, when it comes to the superiority race of Igbo clans, Onicha knows her place. The superiority race is among Ụmụ Nri that claim to be Igbo progenitor, Arọ Chukwu that calls themselves Arọ oké Igbo (the greatest and dominant of all Igbos), Nnewi that claim to be the Igbo king by birth ( the first Obi), Awka that claim to have sprout out of earth (ifiteana), Ogui Nike and the Attah of Igala that claims Onoja place in Igboland. Notable competitor for the throne includes Isu clan (notably isunjaba) before others. It is important to note that Ụmụ Ezechima Clan that claim to be the rightful heir to the throne of Idu, for obvious reasons doesn't claim superiority over the Igbos as her first son was crowned Obi of Onitsha Ado n'Idu by the Eze Nri in the presence of the Obi of Otolo who will later be addressed as the Igwe of Nnewi |
Yoruba is the most divided ethnic group in Nigeria that is why you see them all over nairaland trying to force their divisive mentality on other ethnic group. It is known fact that when somebody constantly abuses another person for lack of fund, the accuser is poor. I don't have much to say but I'll never forget the insult I received from one elderly man at someplace called Opokia in Ogun state because I referred to him as a yoruba man and tried to engage him with the little yoruba I learnt at Ibadan. Thank God or should I say thank my colleagues for calming him down and still God for not allowing bottle to be near him. Since that day I've vowed never to call anybody a member of any ethnic group without his permission. Even in East now I seriously watch my steps, if enter places like pH I dare not call anybody Igbo before what happened in ogun will repeat itself. For those wondering what made the man to nearly tear all my clothes, the man kept saying something like he is Egun or so |
BabaRamota1980:But you lots will fight tooth and nail to claim Lagos based on similar language. Lagos is still a no man's land. Orji Uzor kalu said so and he is a senator in Federal Republic of Nigeria |
How many serial killers dey this ogun sef? |
I have just two things to say. Igbo Amaka! It doesn't concern me whether the news is true or not

Most Arsenal fans are influential |
Seeing Arthur Eze and Gov Ugwuanyi together celebrating in the disputed land, I now know the reason and the man behind the grabbing of Emejulu's 40 plots of land. #Returntheland |
Speak for yourself. I refuse to be named by a white Man like an English dog. I am IGBO before anything called "Nigerian". Igbo Amaka! |
Aboki99:Thanks for your explanation. I think this death sentence is a bit too gruesome and out dated for this kind of "offence" judging from the way other cultures and civilization see it . As for that of the security of the state, I have reasons to believe that your answers are based from the Islamic point of view, with that I'll say the youths of the affected state and region need serious reorientation on the value of human life and freedom of speech . Wouldn't it be better to exile him if seeing him will be too much of a burden for the Islamic people of kano? |
Guy watch your fingers, you can go to jail or fined 5m for this.
Don't underestimate the kind of people that visit Nairaland |
nsiba:We already have Arọ Chukwu. But tell me, how does it feel to be a minor ethnic group? I can imagine the fear and insecurity from here |
nsiba:You know within yourself that where you typing from will soon be either Igbo, yoruba or fulani land. It's the rule of nature, the strongest always dominate |
I'll say Ngozi Okonjo Iweala, if only Nigerians can swallow their patriarch ego and allow the only capable person to rule |
nsiba:You could have fetched a fortune if not for the white. Damn you people for abolishing slave trade. Ps "joking" don't be afraid |
Chai! my brother from the other side. If you channel this energy and resources you use in finding faults about Ndigbo to business, you'll surely become richer than Jeff Bezos |
