PoliticsRe: Senate, House Of Rep, House Of Assembly- Who Are They Representing, Us Or Them? by BlackMamba(m): 10:57pm On Nov 06, 2006
Do the average Naijaman understand the role of an elected rep. huh How can they demand accountability when everyone is groping in the dark. huh
FashionRe: Should Women Dress More Modestly? by BlackMamba(m): 12:57am On Nov 06, 2006
The only reason one should cover any part of the body should be for health reasons. Any competent adult knows when to cover the body against temperature or disease.
No one should tell me to cover my body because my unclothedness will effect others.
FashionRe: Should Women Dress More Modestly? by BlackMamba(m): 5:19am On Nov 04, 2006
A person should be allowed to be naked in public if they choose to. How did the sight of a naked body become so tempting and irresistible that society would legislate against it and term it indecent.
TravelRe: Need Ghanaian Passport by BlackMamba(m): 4:51am On Nov 04, 2006
Go to the Ghanaian consulate and obtain one if you're entitled.
PoliticsRe: Have You Registered To Vote? by BlackMamba(m): 9:56pm On Oct 27, 2006
Why do we keep wasting public funds for elections and it's related activities when all we need and will eventually use is a returning officer to fill out the result sheet. huh
But if you can, please register to vote for the heck of it.

Is it not against the jihad to solicit a man online? grin
AutosRe: Who Drives Manual? by BlackMamba(m): 8:44pm On Oct 27, 2006
I can drive manual but I choose not to. Driving is a task for me already. Clutch engagement, especially in city traffic is another stress I can do without.

SportsRe: African Women's Championship by BlackMamba(m): 8:06pm On Oct 27, 2006
I'm all for equal opportunity, but women football is just crap. There are other sports like Athletics and Tennis that women can showcase their talent and bring some entertainment. Watching 22 ladies chase a ball up and down the pitch is not appealing to me.
FamilyRe: ..... by BlackMamba(m): 2:54pm On Oct 26, 2006
It's common practice in Naija to freeze a corpse in the mortuary, and prepare for a befitting burial ceremony. Mind you, burial in Naija is yet another opportunity to host a party, even if it makes little sense that the chief celebrant is long dead.
As a rule, I think a Muslim must be buried within a couple of days.
Recently, some communities and Christian denominations has put in place rules mandating burials within a couple of weeks to a month, to discourage the skyrocketting cost of showcasing the dead in Naija.

He was about to become the youngest Vice Chancellor in Africa at 39, but he preferred to devote his whole to the service of God.
The sacrifice is worth every cent of it.

Nairaland GeneralRe: London Or Houston? by BlackMamba(m): 6:44pm On Oct 25, 2006
New York City has more of everything, including Naija people. In fact, Brooklyn alone probably has more Naija than anywhere outside Naija. Every Naija town has an association in NYC.

Nigeria is currently in the top 20 of the world's poorest nation. Don't get it twisted. Let's fix the basics first. Food, Shelter and Health.
SportsRe: Go Naija! by BlackMamba(m): 1:52am On Oct 25, 2006
I hope we're talking about Real Football (Soccer). Or there is no point contributing to this discussion. BTW, why in the world would the Nigerian government help underwrite a college game, when so many young smart Nigerians cannot attend a university because they can't afford tuition. huh huh
CelebritiesRe: South Africa's Drama Queen Lebo Mathosa Died Yesterday. by BlackMamba(m): 1:26am On Oct 24, 2006

RomanceRe: What Kind Of Person Are You Intimidated By, Afraid To Date? by BlackMamba(m): 1:11am On Oct 24, 2006
sweetlove:
I'm just wondering if I'm the only one afraid to date certain types of people. I have this thing with really big "buff" guys. For some reason I'm afraid to go out with them. I like athletic men but too big scares me off. Anybody else with hangups like mine?
I don't want to start something but I really don't care about the kind of man you like. cool
