Neddstark:
Now this is the new cool. When wise people warned you on the importance of law and order, you insulted them. Now this is what you get. Anarchy all the way. No police, no army. Let us see this unfold. I am 100% happy I am not in Benin right now. If you like keep trying to End Sars that has already ended.

To awon protesters, if you know say na because of you anybody go prison know say e don set for you. Better go home with your cultlass, police no go help you. The anarchy begins
They just played into the hands of miscreants and anarchists.....

cheesy lol .. Falz my brother, 99% of the protesters are celebrating, not protesting.. Na party things.. Even my neighbors here dey celebrate grin

By the way, I know why this protest ain't ending anytime soon... grin

It's no secret that most Nigerians can hardly afford 1 cup of Garri.. In other words, the poverty level in Nigeria is extremely high, no thanks to our wicked leaders. sad

Now, there's an extremely rare opportunity for most of them to eat good meals, for free, and you want them not to take a good advantage of it? You want them to leave the streets, where Manna from above is falling on them, and return home to meet hunger? cheesy

Not possible! Happiness rarely keeps company with an empty stomach. Even if government like, make them turn Nigeria to Dubai overnight, these guys ain't leaving the streets as long as they keep getting free food..

When I said it before (see post above), people didn't believe, but now it's become so obvious that it's impossible to shy away from the truth. This protest has been reduced to a poverty alleviation program and carnival. In some areas, it has been hijacked by hoodlums and politicians.

The government really needs to be creative to tackle this issue, otherwise, this protest is here to stay for good.

May God help Nigeria.
You couldn't have said it better.
Free food is given to the protesters daily.......why wont they keep coming out.
Politics › Re: EndSARS: Is It Right For Protesters To Block The Roads? by blackmantis: 10:49am On Oct 16, 2020
Gerrard59:
If you had protested against SARS brutality many years ago, those protesters wouldn't obstruct the roads. They are doing it so their children won't experience same brutality and obstruct them the way they are doing.
There are laws governing conduct and civilized beings adhere to such rules.....in seeking redress for violation of their rights, in protest, in business, in everything without infringing on the rights of others.

If we all take the laws into our hands then chaos and anarchy will result.

You have the right to protest, I have the right to go about my business.....

If you block the roads you are no better than SARS.

It's barbaric.

Was returning home from work yesterday and was held up in traffic because the road was blocked at various junctions in Abuja. It was only the heavy downpour of rain that dispersed the protesters.

It's okay to protest against Police brutality but it's wrong to infringe on the rights of other law abiding citizens.

Imagine the agony of stranded parents trying to pick their kids from school but held up in traffic by protesters who blocked the roads.

Speaking with some Uniabuja students who blocked Berger roundabout yesterday in Abuja, I can categorically say that the protests is not ending anytime soon.

When people in small groups wanted to do small protest to let out steam they are clamped down. Now all the pent up anger has exploded Nationwide like a wild fire..... Endsars was the trigger... an avenue to voice out the frustrations of bad governance.

There is nothing wrong in calling for help when something overwhelms you.

If foreign mercenaries can eliminate Boko Haram let's engage them because most of the strategy used so far is not working.

Seeive it and mix on part lime to to 8times water.

Keep it in a spray bottle.

Mix some lime water in your dogs bathe water.

After bathing spray the lime mixture all over your dog. Avoid the eyes. You can dab it's ears with cotton wool with the lime mixture.

Thank God some one has finally opened a thread on this! i was also a victim similar to this OP right here but mine happened at iyana oba lagos state. there were about Four police officers Who stopped my Uber vehicle and told me i was a yahoo boy i pleaded profusely to all of them but it fell into deaf ears! they took me to a yellow bus waiting and asked me to sit .when i entered i saw a guy who was also taken by them and they said he was also guilty of the crime ..this guy was already in tears while i maintained calmness to know what they were about to do, next thing they started checking my whatsapp and gallery. after the search they could only find pics of foriegn girls from my whatsapp forums downloaded in my fone and they claimed i was a yahoo guy or cultist .any ways they threatened to take me away and then they saw my acct balance with 100k in it i pleaded with them that the.money was meant for my business so they took me to a near by POS shop inspite of all my pleas and withdrew all my life savings of 100k then mocked me and asked if i have change left to go home..it was a horrible experience and i cant bear it but share to every one here of how wicked those lout and thiefs called Sars or police are! im still in pain with what those guys did and my God will punish all of them!
Sorry for your loss
I experienced how a guy was extorted in a bus I was travelling in from Benin to Auchi.....
if you are familiar with that route there is a Sars checkpoint at Irrua. They have no name tags and wear only a black polo with jean and their vest.
All in the bus I was travelling in were either students of Ekpoma or Auchi poly. Two guys sat in the front with the driver, the next row had me a girl and another guy near the door....all the rest were females.

At the check point they told the 2 guys in front and the one near the door to come down with their phones for searching.
After about 15mins they all returuned and one of the guys said that they just collected his 9k. And I was like for what!
He said they saw the picture of a foreign woman on his phone and called him a yahoo boy and threatened to take him to the station if he did not cooperate. The other two guys said thats how they always do on that route. Maybe because of how i was dressed (Native) I was not called down but even if they did you cant go through my phone. You may collect it but i will never surrender the password to you.
