Funny thing is that the same slowpoke would have lied to his teeth to get UK visa, lied to his teeth to claim refugee status, lied to his teeth to get immigration and other government documents or IDs , and may probably lie to his teeth to be on the dole.

Then he hops on a bus and starts preaching , making no connections between his own moral shortcomings and the crap he thinks he is preaching. undecided

I just wonder how someone from a certified FAILED STATE can run and lie his way to a Better , Working Society, then starts telling the people , on whose benevolence he depends, that they should adopt his primitive worldview , huh, .same primitive worldview that renders him an economic refugee. undecided

I always amazes me when I see third world economic refugees( particularly Nigerians) , hawking Stone-age myths to the modern citizens of their benefactor nations.

Religion is Stuuuuupid.
I just love you. Thank you. It doesn't have to be me saying stuff all the time and these near-apes think I'm the one with the problem. Failed people!

On Chrisvicmall site on my phone, I was looking to know how much local shipping to Ibadan would cost for 2.5kg of goods since these people would not answer me. Lo and behold, I clicked just one invoice for local shipping from an old transaction and they promptly deducted about 2000 naira and even told me thank you!
Since I've been trying to get them refund my money or do the local shipping if the money isn't much. They've been ignoring me and playing me around. My username is Osi. I need my goods lying down in Lagos. Ifeanyi, Elena pls give me my money and arrange my shipping to Ibadan if it will not cost an arm and a leg

If this "god" lunacy is not removed from this country, we will continue to sink deeper and deeper into chaos. While my father was ruining his family by having children upon children while doing next to nothing to improve his status in life, all he said in any event calling for reflection was "God will provide". Well, "God" didn't provide and the girls of Nigeria turned into prostitutes and the boys...well I can't describe as I was a part. Instead of Nigerian to take responsibility for his life, no: he will be indisciplined, lazy, without self-control and cast all his burdens on Jesus, as the song goes. I can not enumerate all the ways religion and tradition have been used to impoverish our land. They all talk but do nothing. I really wish I was not living in Nigeria. We are still living the sins and indiscretions of our fathers
PoliticsRe: 'if You See Ministers Flying First Class, Take A Pic & Send To Me' - Ben Murray by blackprowler: 8:40pm On Nov 10, 2015
Gbawe:
Buhari is bringing in a hell of a lot more accountability than we have seen in the past. It may simply be impossible for Ministers, even if they want, to fly first class with government funds. Many are still wealthy enough to do so with their own private wealth. Bruce cannot encourage the senseless hounding of those in that category. That is the substantive point. It is reckless and irresponsible to do so.

You may not know where I am from but I know, and all reasonable folks will agree, that people deserve their privacy and they do not need harassment over conjecture and suspicion alone. This is how those poor boys were killed in ALUU. The lynch mob simply believed the debtor who, to get out out of paying their debts to the young men, lied the boys were robbers. They were summarily and wrongly executed. Go ahead and accost a minister if you seeing him flying first class and take his picture. Even fight and tear his clothing all because the hypocrite Bruce has demanded it.
Let me get this clear: did Ben Bruce incite people to physically accost these individuals? Honest question because I didn't read the actual tweets. That would be surprising and if he didn't, then I definitely don't see your persuasion. Nigeria is still mob country of savages and I must have screamed more than you when the Aluu incident occurred
PoliticsRe: 'if You See Ministers Flying First Class, Take A Pic & Send To Me' - Ben Murray by blackprowler: 2:18pm On Nov 10, 2015
Gbawe:
Then why is Ben Bruce asking for pictures of these people in first class cabins when he did not include the proviso that they may be self-funding their own flight? Even when he gets the pictures how will Bruce determine who self-financed their own flight ticket and those who used government funds? Is he an intelligence supremo who has access to the payment record of everyone who has boarded a flight? Or did Buhari say all ministers are banned from travelling first class merely because they accepted the call to serve their nation?

Face it. Bruce is an attention seeker merely playing to the gallery. Period. How can you just be encouraging Nigerians to be a nuisance to others based on assumptions and suppositions alone? The whole thing is reckless and irresponsible. Bruce, to promote his 'man of the people' deception he is nurturing carefully, is just deceiving gullible, poverty-addled and frustrated Nigerians. Teach them to fish for God sake. By this I mean show them how to hold their leaders accountable so that they deliver for me and you instead of encouraging us to accost and uncouthly embarrass leaders flying first class or eating a N15 K meal when they may have done nothing wrong at all. I can't stand people like Bruce with their fake, shallow and self-serving 'Robin Hood' show.
I have a fair understanding of Ben Bruce, having followed his rise since MBGN 1987 and engaging him frequently on Twitter. I'm sure if he starts blocking people, I will be high on his list. However, unlike most Nigerians, I look at the message and not the messenger. If you think Nigeria is a place where people who are stupendously wealthy would want to work for government and spend their own money on ostentation, I'm sure I have no idea where you're from.
CelebritiesRe: Ebuka Obi's Tweet About Nigerian Government by blackprowler: 2:07pm On Nov 10, 2015
Completely inaccurate and senseless talk by the celebrity. When you become a celebrity in Nigeria, your sneeze can make headlines while people who actually know what they're talking about are roundly ignored to the detriment of us all. Does the Ebuka know about Sharia during OBJ's time and what a massive landmine they planned for Obasanjo with it when he retired all their political soldiers from the military? Well, he was probably a clueless teenager at the time, more interested in "toasting" girls than knowing what was happening in the country. If Obasanjo wasn't president in when he was, there might have been no democracy today. The burden of great leadership is that they seek to solve a problem so that ordinary people would never know what might have been and hence do not appreciate what has been done for them.

By his name Ebuka would identify as Ibo. He's almost married now and has been an influential person for years now in Nigeria, at least among young people. What has he said about the Biafra crap? Does he think he would still be doing big boy in Lagos if Nigeria gives his kinsmen the dumb idea of a Biafra (which I wish so hard should be the case)? Let all those Ibo people be looking for whom to blame. If there is a Biafra, they would all be bundled out of every part of Nigeria without option. It would be back to their vomit of 1967

What should we do to these tribal animals that fill Nairaland? They reflect the whole society. It is even much worse because the ones who post here would actually lay claim to some education. Let me remind you all: any country where their only understanding of life is in tribal colours will never be able to progress and live in harmony. Human beings and societies have stages. Those who still think in terms of tribal loyalty are the lowest on the ladder. Those who believe religion are even higher on the ladder. The tribalists are just one step above hunter-gatherers who themselves are just above the apes. You can see how close most Nigerians are to apes in the evolutionary tree. Please grow up or else all you deserve would be violence, death and destruction as is the case in the jungle

Since we've been getting First Class since time immemorial I haven't heard ONE invention that is in use in the world traceable to one of our "brains" or even for them to cure some of our diseases - they all get solved by OYIBO. Do you know that people get into NDA from secondary school? Abi NDA no be army again? Please help me calculate if you enter NDA in 1990, what rank will you be now? GUY, no be everybody on nairaland dem born in the 1990s or '80s for that matter. There are people still adrift in this country even in their '50s and they could have been GENERALS were they commissioned in the army. Life is harder than some think
PS: let me add: what do you think the actual salary of a colonel is? Even a 4-star general - how much? I can tell you many people with few years' bank experience and under 30 years of age will be earning more than that colonel. What about the numbers of colonels? Them boku my dear brother. FamilyRe: The Stigmatisation Of Unmarried/single Working Adult Nigerians by blackprowler: 10:47am On Nov 05, 2015
StarboyMichael:
My friend wrote this and I want to share.

Let me first declare that this post was inspired by a Facebook post by a friend. She narrated that she heard a pastor telling the married women in his congregation not to be friends with single women...the reason for his advice is that he believes they will be misled by their unmarried/single friends.

Well I am not ready to join issue with this pastor, but I will like to use this opportunity to join issue with Nigerian society as a whole. Personally, I have always believed that Nigerians have a very misguided, perverted and warped idea of a relationship or marriage.
I said so because I am talking from experience. An average Nigerian believes that once a man or woman is working, the next thing is for him or her to get married. Everywhere you go, you are bombarded with the questions of "when are you getting married?", "do you know time is going?", "what are you waiting for?", etc. In fact, the pressure is so much that if you are not a strong person, you will start thinking that you have a problem.

Now let everyone listen to me, if you are married, congratulations and I wish you well. But it is an invasion of privacy to be asking people when they are getting married. And it is wrong of you to disrespect people because they are not married. Some people even think single or unmarried people are irresponsible or lose. If you are a man, some people will also insinuate that may be you are impotent. ‪#‎smile‬. I have seen situations where some married people believe you should accord them special respect because they are married and you are not.

Let me continue by saying that I am not married and I don't need anybody's advice on why I am not yet married. I personally will not tolerate disrespect from anyone because I am not married. Neither will I accord anyone special respect because he or she is married. I will only respect you if you deserve my respect, whether you are married or single is immaterial to me.

Finally, let it be clear that single or unmarried status is not a disease that needs to be cured. And to all the single and unmarried people out there, your destiny is in your own hands. Whether you allow the society to make you feel inadequate or not, depends on you. Always remember that there is nothing wrong with you. Also, know that everybody cannot get married at the same time. In fact, I don't have problem with anyone who doesn't want to get married at all.

Thank you and share your thoughts.
100%. I hardly give this score. It's just as well that I might have written this myself. Let me reinforce you here: Nigeria is a BACKWARD AND VERY VERY SICK SOCIETY. Those people who think they're normal and see the people you describe as sick are the ones who are actually sick. You can see the power of majority: the majority decides what's "normal" and if the majority is wrong, that spells doom for the society. This is why Nigeria is damned as the ones who are wrong are the ones whose narrative control society. I am a product of "marry at all cost" and I have suffered to no end because of it and hence I'm not a great fan of the very institution of marriage. Moreover, the horrible life presented to me by that marriage, placed me at an economic disadvantage in life anyway and in Nigeria, marriage is actually purchasing of a wife, which is a very expensive commodity to buy and very very often, with the quality of women here, a bad investment anyway. Many people just buy the milk rather than the whole cow to come mess up their house

That is the WHOLE idea behind Omojuwa and all our so-called activists. It's all about building themselves. I'm from an older generation and am quite conversant with when Keyamo was doing his own ranting. He's now popular and rich, and even has a good reputation in Nigeria to boot. Right from Soyinka storming Western Nigeria radio station with a gun till Chude and Omojuwa today, the story has been consistent: black man is unable to see beyond his nose; he only thinks of how to be "great". Even for others to succeed like him he doesn't want - he wants to be greatER without being gifted. If you think Nigeria continues to get worse as the years go by by accident, I'm just sorry for you: those people achieved their real aim, and that aim was self, not Nigerian betterment

PoliticsRe: How Nigeria Must Deal With Biafra - Cramjones by blackprowler: 4:12pm On Nov 03, 2015
If people of Ibo ancestry don't come out to fight the Biafran lunacy, well, I'm really sorry. In the '60s, when Ibos were dying, no one asked if you supported Biafra or not. The greatest losers would be the Ibos who know that this is lunacy and keep quiet. Am I the one to fight it out for you, so I can be discredited as non-Ibo?

The Biafran experiment was not an Ibo secession from Nigeria - it was the greed of one small boy who was entrusted with a part of the country to govern, an area which contained hundreds of tribes. By force of arms and propaganda, he seized the area with the connivance of people of his ethnic group. Meanwhile he claimed modernity with British education but was absolutely a typical African tribal ape. His tribesmen paid with great suffering and yet, 45 years on, the African in them makes them unable to learn their lesson. We now have about 10 states where it used to be one region for one criminal to seize. Need I say more?
PS: cramjones is factually wrong on a number of points. What does he think Jan 15th is for?

Even the hardened armed robber with pistol probably started out like this in desperation, seeing opulence in the land while they get frustrated by people while struggling to find something to stay alive. If your parents took care of you, you have no idea about this so I advise you don't bring your flawed "logic" here. I am only a heartbeat away from them in my own life story and I know how easily one can fall into that situation. SHAME to society that forces everyone to marry and have children while uncaring about the plight of their fellow man. Do you go to the market and haggle price of the lowest commodity by 5 or 10 naira? You are part of the problem. The same you pricing market of 20 naira to death from a struggling person will go ahead and buy clothes of tens of thousands of naira and buy car of millions. You want your fellow man to die...some come up with a gun and come back to you and you tell them "take everything sir, no problem".
