Boss13:Even a confirmed armed robber caught in the act has a right to his day in court, but alas in animal kingdom that is too complex to be understood. Do you know how many girls are locked up in the house and suddenly when over 25 they start to ask her when she'll marry? Nigeria is a savage jungle. Clearly, our universities have been for certificates only; the society is no different from before the first university was built 63yrs ago |
Jungle with animals. Let him collect his own death so the girl with turn in the privates for boys to massacre taya. Foolish people; they take sexx as if it's one big deal. So easy to figure out a crude people who don't know nothing |
lagmostkuit:Absolute disaster of a Nigerian mistake that has produced uncountable millions academically inferior students. I'm not against very serious caning to draw the line in the sand for disciplinary purpose but I can assure you that caning a child for learning deficiency is the death of that child's ability to learn. I know it VERY WELL because it is done very regularly. The most brilliant teachers should be brought to the earliest period of a child's learning as that is where it is decided if the child would believe they can learn or think they can't. Most so-called dullards actually become conditioned to believe they can't learn. If one can learn to speak a language, go blame teachers like you who damaged the child's belief in their ability to learn right at the beginning |
Sijo01:Anachronism is a word worth memorising. I thought it was a Federal REPUBLIC |
marshalcarter:Number 1 almost doesn't exist in Nigeria. Mistake ppl make is to equate someone on same level of nothingness with you as 1. If you were on a high level and you fall down, they're no longer excited to see you. People don't see ability in others in Nigeria, only success. While girls are the ones mostly blamed for this, I think it applies to everybody here. Interestingly I know someone who is 2 and 3 together: he's part of what ultimately put me in difficulty for the very reason that I wanted to help him as a friend, and he left me in difficulty when I finally fell face-flat. MAKE NO MISTAKE: this is not how the world is as some people are saying; this is how NIGERIA is...and I've been around and participated in a great deal of foreign discussions forums in my time |
zaza999:You neva see anything. Veteran here, '40s. You need to look for Ebenezer Obey's song of the '60s, Shina Peters's song of 1989, even Tony One-week's of the 2000s to understand that you just start. There are no friends in Nigeria, even for some like me, no family. You never see anything. Everybody is fair-weather. They have no idea how they're ruining the country by that: ppl who could be very very great but stumbled and fall are trampled over by Nigerians and are very likely to die, and what great difference they would have made would never be known. I've always said it is the way we behave in Nigeria that is the cause of our failure as a country. The so-called government is composed of us too, with same evil heart. Go and find moni by any means or else you'll end up having no one at all; the ones you'll hang on to will make you feel like a 3rd class human being and that they're doing you a great favour. This society is very sick indeed |
KashyBaby:Actually you're setting yourself up for future disaster and I blame the society for misleading young ones like you. As early as possible, start to look for qualities you like in the opposite sex and start to associate with whom you like, at your pace and on your terms. Now now, you'll realise you'll like to get married and/or have kids. What they do at the moment is to then try to go to "show glass" and choose husband/wife like it were a commodity. If you do right, your partner would have been arrived at naturally and you'll live happily cos you've been compatible for a while without pressure of "marry somebody". The OP is right but I must add: everybody must not marry. This sick society should refrain from forcing everyone to marry and born "twins", "triplets". Laugh or not, THEY DO |
Let me stop laughing for a minute and ask Nigerians: do you think a governor or the president for that matter has the entire money of his state or the country at his disposal to use as he likes? The problem of Nigeria is her people. They do things as per tradition, not according to reason |
acunon:Nigerians deserve to be hated. The British aren't even doing it because they're a civilised country. Oh, nothing is always completely bad: I somehow wish there was still Adolf Hitler and Nigerian pathetic life will be quickly understood |
Drkul:Na Britain help you overpopulate am? Keep "borning". Child is a gift from God. Let's increase the gift self: 7 children per woman. NIGERIA IS A JOKE! |
Since Nigeria is such an eldorado where British investors are falling over themselves to come and invest, it's only natural to allow 29,000 Nigerians in Britain to also return and be part of the great success story. NIGERIA IS A JOKE! |
The invaluable contribution of CCTV cameras on display here. We security consultants are overlooked to the detriment of everyone. I have better services that could have prevented or solved the incident. I also noticed a good number of NIGERIANS here can even come up with a reason to blame her for this effort. Really? Serious? Nigeria has a very very big problem going forward. No doubt the youth are worse than previous generations |
PapaNnamdi:I'm very sure you're the "new generation" they talk about who's different from their parents' generation ready to "change Africa". Ok, we dey wait. NIGERIA IS A JOKE! |
In their mad rush to answer "married woman" they ignore clear, easy-to-see signs and when the novelty and value of that title wears off they start to squeal. Abeg carry your cross. Marriage is not a biological necessity of life (especially at a fixed age range) but a mere social construct which is gradually outliving its usefulness. Nearly 50% of marriages now end in divorce in America and Nigeria is also stepping up its percentage too. It's now commonplace to find people in their third marriages and some divorcing in their 60s when closer to death. Start relationships early; don't put a time frame during which you must marry or because your friends are marrying. We all have different paths in life. I'm over 40 and barely ever had a real girlfriend. I'm not worried that I must marry. If I get financial security, find whom I'm compatible with, then maybe. If not, no. The greatest secret of couples is that they're much more miserable than if they were single. They won't own up cos they've invested so much to earn that title and are prepared o deceive themselves. Only few couples are actually happy in their marital life having connected with the right person. Women spend their adolescent years being taught how to mock boys who approach them, how to think the world would have been better had boys not existed. Lo and behold in a few years people are already asking whom they want to marry? In their late 20s it's already an issue of desperation and they become blind to so many potential problems of a potential suitor who "makes the mark" i.e has physical presence, a decent income and material things to show (not minding if he was really on thin ice). Too much to say and I lack the fortitude to type |
So today 2015 any person with any money of note now sees going abroad as the normal way to get medical treatment. I won't be surprised that they often get attended to by Nigerian doctors over there who trained here. How much more evidence do you need to conclude this country is a joke? Many of these people actually die there and waste their excess money to ship dead body back to Nigeria for burial. Why not be buried there then? NIGERIA IS A JOKE! |
CACAWA:...And that's why they're such a problem to the world. They give no room for any possibility that they might be wrong here or there. They prefer to attack you than to engage in introspection. The last great fight of humanity would be to defeat this ideology and put them in the place Christians occupy today |
I've read some of these comments. I've been blacklisted and frustrated out of twitter where all the top people in Nigeria who once related or followed me have blocked or run away from me. Ok now, did you hear that 60 or 70 percent of Nigerian population are under 25 years old? So who voted the old people into office if the youth are desperate to govern? Nigeria is a joke. I absolutely agree with those who call this place a zoo or jungle. The problem of Nigeria, Africa, black man is long and glaring and yet they can't see it: their VALUES. The thing we pursue in life and our idea of how life should be lived is barbaric, undeveloped, uninformed, vain - where can I end. Even the fact that they want to black me out rather than debate my points is the greatest evidence of this. Don't forget Gowon was not yet even 32 when he became Supreme Commander of Nigeria, with powers of all those 469 legislators and the President combined. Guess what: he was there by force and not by whether we as a society wanted him there or not. It's not about young or old - it's about what your SOCIETY thinks is right/wrong |
I'm really concerned in this situation where people come to national prominence by being actors, athletes, comedians and musicians and become experts on national issues and get a large following while those of us who proved more intelligent in class, spent time studying these issues our whole lives (hence not being famous) are not regarded on these same issues. Isn't life funny? |
ziccoit:Boko Haram IS the real Islam without any pretense. Not that Christianity is any better but Christianity has been defeated 500 years ago. It is the turn of Islam and that's why they've become more extremist now. The world is going in one direction whether anyone likes it or not. The light is spreading and will one day overcome the darkness of especially Abrahamic religion which are all violent. Religion is ignorance to most and power to a tiny few. How many died this year inside the holiest mosque in Mecca? Jokers! |

He looked like a clown and it is all a circus anyway. I can't understand how it is that I grew up in this same country and am like this. I literally SEE why we are backward everyday and why we will remain so for the forseeable future |
...and these are the "leaders" in this country jostling to even become president. NIGERIA IS A JOKE if it hasn't yet occurred to you all. As one post says, it is the Imo people that voted him in; let them enjoy their choice for the next four years. Ditto Nigeria. |
Realise it or not, most Oyibos still have the belief, though well hidden, that the black race is an inferior race. Can you blame them? If you were in their shoes what would you think? |
Nigerian capacity for inanity is bottomless. Please what great breakthrough in improving mankind has been attributed to a Nigerian yet? You people are drowning in your academic titles. Only one Nigerian Army doctor did anything I know of. What academic title did Edison have? Right now Ebola and Malaria are being solved by people who don't have the diseases in their continent while dumb Nigerians are nowhere to be found; they're busy accumulating PhD and MSc. Why haven't you won a Nobel in real productive fields? Mumu PS: Most of these academic qualifications come from your ability to learn what someone else has created. What have you created for the rest of us to learn to make the world better? God, black man is a disgrace to human beings |
luchy34:Congratulations. You got it. But let me tell you the Nigerian tragedy: THEY WILL WITHOLD THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU TO PROVE WHAT YOU CAN DO IF YOU DON'T FOLLOW THEIR STUPID LADDER. Are you not surprised that we are a joke of a nation despite their stupid CVs ? What is Obama's CV? What is Joe Biden's CV? Check out the CVs of all the presidents of US - a country that rules the world. Nigerian society is IGNORANT AND DOES NOT WANT TO KNOW! |
kahal29:You don't understand NOTHING, just like your other Nigerian counterparts. How can we make progress then? Have you heard of Jesse Ventura? Read the CV of Joe Biden, at least I hope you've heard that one. That's why Nigeria is failing cos you all have no understanding of how nations develop and that's why every slowpoke has a Masters degree in Nigeria today |
socialmediaman:My dear there are incalculable pressures on Buhari and sometimes I suspect he accedes and allows them hoping to shame them in the end since the ball now falls in NASS's court to do the "dirty work". The problem we're facing in this country is the Nigerian rottenness. We are a base people but no one wants to hear that. We have to change |
Not as if I'm saying anything new but from the general comments here, it's not hard to see that Nigerian people are the problem with Nigeria as I always say. People have the foundational belief that when someone gets into govt position, he has the obligation to spend govt money on the part of the country THEY tie to him as his ORIGIN. This is why everyone is fighting for their own "son/daughter" to get into govt. If it's so economically fruitful to build a hotel, why not you go and build it and make money. Nigerians are crude, clueless and are the problem with their society. I pity those tiny portion of the society like me who are not |
Black man (African) is an embarrassment to the human race. We are closer to our primate cousins than all other types of humans |
Nigerians are a backward people, full stop. Tell me the topics being discussed in any society and I'll tell you their stage of development. In 1922, Lugard wrote that we're still at the "tribal stage" of societal development. I wonder if he could predict we would still be there 100 years later. Everyday I thank God that Obama was not a child of a Nigerian in America. Savages! |
moscobabs:Nigeria herself is a joke. We earnestly yearn for our savage life where there's no organisation and no institutions and each man roam wildly in the jungle catering to his own needs only - or that of his family. We are savages |
midolian:Can you pls find fault in the message, rather than checking out the messenger, NIGERIAN?! |
