Jobs/VacanciesRe: Have You Ever Quit Your Job Without Having A Back Up Plan? by blackprowler: 5:23pm On Feb 21, 2016
missKiffy:
Like I mentioned in a thread I created yesterday that am thinking of quitting my job, but I don't really have a back up plan, so have you ever quit your job without having a back up plan, and how did it work out for you, did u regret your actions and how long did it take for you to get another job.
You think back-up plans are foolproof? Yea, I quit my well-paid job, my back-up plan crashed and I don't have money now. No, I don't regret quitting my job as I had many many years to think about it. In Nigeria I know your logic is to regret an action if your subsequent hopes don't pan out. That's wrong. They don't have to be linked necessarily. I'm a much much better person and know a lot more today than I would if I stayed on the job. What just remains is that spark of opportunity and all the equipping I've been doing on myself will bear fruits - and it will come. I do not go after the money as most Nigerians; I go after my personal happiness and contentment. Some jobs force you to live a lie, and I'm just not that kind of person
EducationRe: Romola Adeola, 26-Year-Old Phd Holder: "I Had No Time For Social Activities" by blackprowler: 5:12pm On Feb 21, 2016
As I always say, it is PhD that got Jonathan to Aso Rock. Lemme tell y'all today: PhD is not an indication of intelligence; IQ test suffices better. PhD is the result of someone spending time at university to get a PhD. In successful countries, people are using PhDs to research and better their countries and the world. Many of the problems we have in Africa here are subjects of PhD programmes by oyibos in their countries. But amongst the Africans themselves nko o: PhD is for status. Or pls has anyone heard any breakthrough by a Nigerian on their PhDs? Malaria is an exclusively tropical disease; mosquitos don't exist in Europe/US. But the world is close to finding a vaccine for malaria from those countries' research, some of which are PhDs. Do you think White man will ever respect you when they solve all your problems in addition to theirs? By the way, what is a PhD at 26 a big deal about? If from birth all your parents want you to achieve is PhD, you're pretty-much ordinary: secondary school at 17, 4 yrs BSc; can't you get a PhD in 5yrs? MSc is one year in the UK and I know PhDs exist straight from bachelors for 3years. I'm not even counting actual genuises who get into university at 10 years of age. Nigerians are too dumb. Life is easy now, just google things and read. I understand the average Nairalander can't read more than 1000 words. So how many of you "graduates" have read a complete book then? Nigeria is a joke!

The wholesale looting of public funds didn't start today with Jonathan's administration as people seem to have concluded. Bianca's father was in charge of the Eastern Region's mines when it was at its peak. I just commented on how he helped himself with that. Buhari is wasting Nigeria's time because if we try to bring every crook to book, all of Nigeria would be a prison as almost every Nigerian is a rogue or an aspiring rogue that hasn't had the opportunity yet to loot and become "big man" to the pleasure of his family, friends, tribesmen/women, pastor/imam etc etc. The problem with Nigeria is the people of Nigeria

Good genes help. But so does wealth. Bianca has no idea what it is to go without the ultimate comforts life has to offer. Her father admitted on NTA some time ago that he has 89 houses in Enugu alone; 5 in Abuja and some others elsewhere. She was already a pageant winner at 21 and subsequently married the son of one of Nigeria's richest men. In today's world, money can buy you beauty, time and health. I know at least one woman without any money, who looks just as young too. Forget story

I've read through some posts. It AMAZES me that people still actually believe and attempt to follow the letter of the bible in Nigeria of 2016. Amazing! This evil country where everyone is a potential crook? I keep saying that anyone who understands the world will find no reason whatsoever in ascertaining why we are such a backward people and nation. Nairaland is the best microcosm of how Nigerians are; all you need do is follow the topics and you get a full briefing of our mindset, thought processes, and value system and this will leave you in no doubt that that kind of people must be running a backward society. Only oil has deceived us for so long that we are anything at all
EventsRe: Wedding Between 72-Year-Old Man & 60-Year-Old Woman In PH After 45yrs by blackprowler: 12:19am On Feb 21, 2016
A woman is not a commodity in my own mind at least. Stop paying bride price to marry a woman, whatever the guise that "it doesn't matter". Has there ever been a Nigerian woman who stood up to tradition and refused any price to be paid on her? But they're quick to want to displace men in the workplace since "we are equal". Women should end double-standards, picking and choosing where it favours their selfish interests. Maybe that's why I can't marry as I'm not prepared to do all this crap in the name of marriage. Once you register your union with the authorities, you are married; all else should be beside the point

Maybe you should never get married and have kids. Then watch your generation go extinct
You are INCREDIBLY DUMB! I wanted to respond to this earlier but network didn't allow. Do you know you represent Nigerian stupidity that has seen the population of this country balloon from 17 million to 170 million in less than 100 years? What will be the population in 1000 years then? I guess you're too dumb to think about that. Do you have "generation"? Do you know how you came about? Who is your 10th generation ancestor - do you know? That's how your 10th generation offspring won't even know you ever existed. If you're preserving "name", how come there's so many different surnames since we all came from "Adam" and "Eve". When you die, do you know anything anymore? I'm sure ppl like you still think you'll be somewhere else being conscious of happenings in this life. This is why they keep marrying and having children all over the place as if that is an achievement, impoverishing the country every single day - and they're proud of it! To not marry is not an option; to not have a child is not an option; indeed to have few children for a manageable life and slowing down of population growth is even an offence to these morons. It was in 1981 that China decreed all couples must either have no child or a maximum of one child per family - 1981. Shebi by 2000s everbody started to envy China's success as a nation. It was A LONG PLANNED PROJECT, not a "miracle" from "god" as dumb societies are always waiting for. Now that they've achieved their goal, they've increased the allowance to 2 children per family. That's a serious, enlightened country, not this jungle of apes. You're a victim of your ignorant society and you've never made an effort to search for the truth yourself. I don taya jare

Nothing special sha,but Amaechi is a huge joke. He should give his 250,000 jobs to be created to his children and generations yet unborn.

Pls wait.....
I watched with disgust on NTA this week how our so called Hon minister of works, Mr Fashola commissioned an old locomotive which was taking its first run from Kaduna to Abuja and which I believe had since in the early 80s been dumped by developed countries.
Is Nigeria that poor or our leaders are shortsighted to invest in those old rags.
Are we not ripe for an express train?
You don't deserve even that '80s train. You don't deserve anything. You deserve to trek or ride donkeys. What do you give to the world? What value do you add to the world? Have you ever seen a jobless person being angry that he's not enjoying equal lifestyle with those generous enought to give him life sustenance even though he should be left to die? Nigerians have been deluded for way too long!

For instance how many Naijà companies produce quality memory foam mattresses? undecided Sometimes, it's better sleeping on the bare floor than on their wack mattresses where you end up with even more back and body pain.
Nigerian situation is like a young pretty girl at the height of her sexual power whose father is wretched and had 8 children living in one room and without even a bicycle mocking a guy who comes from a middle-class background and has a tokunbo Primera car simply because Abuja thieves with brand new jeeps are also toasting her. When she gets older and a new set of hotties take over, she will still have that taste for what's beyond her but lack the means to get it. Meanwhile a reasonable girl would have married the young guy. Keep looking for memory foam. Your country's ability to punch above its weight has ended. http://www.newseveryhour.com/2016/02/is-it-okay-to-wear-this-to-church.html
What is a church in Nigeria? A church is an all-encompassing social institution in our crude society unable to form appropriate avenues for each need. A church is where people go to flaunt their fashion, material acquisitions and stamp their material worth to all minds. A church is where people organise dating, sexual liaisons and marriages. A church is where people advance their business interests and secure jobs and on-the-job favours. And lastly, a church is where people go to pay lip service to the delusion of a "god" so that after all the rat race on earth, they still hope their essence survives and is transported to another place

Ignorant mumu Nigerians with all their MA, MSc PhD (that includes Onyeka), in politics, when a different party defeats the incumbent, there are THOUSANDS of positions that will see a change in personnel. The fact that this government is incompetent and unprepared and hence let the Onyekas of this world stay almost a year after their benefactor has been defeated doesn't mean it is their right to continue. When you read many of the responses here, you get to see why Nigeria doesn't deserve any better than she's getting. We are a failed people. Imagine people specialising in ad hominem insults on someone while pointedly refusing to address whatever points they raised - points responsible for their very sorrow. It means they deserve to live in that sorrow ad infinitum. E don tay that I've said Nigeria is a joke. As always, there's never a "leader"/"follower" dichotomy, it's always one people that make up a nation and determine how that nation will look like. I've prayed that Buhari shd be elected so that this point will be proven that it is not one president that determines the destiny of a country. The fact that I said so is on record and I'm glad I've proved it. Black man is a blight on humanity
RomanceRe: How To Permanently Stop Masturbation (lessons From An Ex-chronic Masturbator) by blackprowler: 5:58am On Feb 16, 2016
adren:
i stormed on one guy's post asking to be saved from his guilt.. people never took him seriously.. someone went as far as suggesting he cut off his hand (just like wright's mom did on instagram).. NL can make you want to co.mit suicide without killing yourself.... lolssss

to everyone, this might be funny and hilarious but it is a thorn in a masturbator's flesh..

i want to share this solutions because i used to be one prominent member of the "masturbators association of nigeria- MAN" myself ( i was about to be voted as the vice president before i resigned)..

trust me, experience is the best teacher.. some would ask you to pray about it, some would even ask you to give your life to jesus .. bitter truth is, i once saw a painting of the mother of jesus- Mary, i found it sexy and i got a hard-on from it.. i had to masturbate at the next chance i got..

so.. this is about personal issues.. it is a disgrace because you don't wanna be caught by someone else (your prick go calm down instantly)..

enough of the stories.. these are what i did to stop it.. it wasn't easy but i am a living proof..

1. avoid been alone when you feel Hot: boys naturally have high libidos.. except one is impotent.. unless, it is bedtime, you dont wanna be caught left alone.. there is this spirit that pushes you to do it and you would have cvmmed long before u get back to your senses..

the best solution to this is looking for a public place with lots of crowd to interact with..

even the devil cannot give you enough liver needed to masturbate in public places.. go to a football viewing centre, a gaming centre, a bar etc..

2. desist from porn: the last time i masturbated, (30-12-2015).. i was feeling lonely, idle and 'single'.. imagine a 23 year old without a gf!!
so.. i switched to my favourite porn site to watch the only thing that can satisfy my urge and get me so high to think masturbation is the only thing that could get me out of my fantasy..
i masturbated as usual but it was not business as usual..
then i thought to myself 'o boy, is this how you would keep living till the end of your days?? is this how you will continue into 2016?? at 23, you don't want to get a life??

mind if i tell you my readers, that my masturbation act got so bad that i could masturbate in an uncompleted building.. i'd just bend down like i want to defecate but emmmm...

so.. it was the last day i watched porn..

3. drink lots of water and pee everytime: for guys, peeing has a way of suppressing erections..
i need not talk much about this but it is the best and the most proven strategy to help stop it only if you want to..
when you feel that the devil is about to make a workshop out of your hand.. stand up almost immediately and go pee.. force out the pee if it won't come.. it is a sure bet that your joyatick is going to take a chill pill (500mg)..

4. get a girlfriend or pay for a one-night stand/quickie (olosho): this is a long-term solution.. i know myself.. even if i tried to stop masturbating, and i do not find a long term solution to my problem by looking for a "LASWMA" to leave my 'trash' for, my case might end up been like that girl in the bible whose demon was cast out and the demon went to invite seven others..

masturbation has a way of torturing sex freaks.. fortunately for me, i went to a party the first week of 2016 and that was where i met this fine girl.. she is from ondo and they are only second to calabar girls on "baddest nigerian babes list." if such thing exists..

on a final note.. i have only written this to inspire those who are battling with masturbation issues..

i dont know if ladies can utilise my 'tested and trusted' methods but i can use ayilala to swear that this will work for you 100%..

if you are bold enough.. without feeling stigmatised, share how u conquered it.
you would be helping a thousand others who are dying in silence.. and if you want to start stigmatising, think again because your relative is doing that shiiii right now..

and to etc.. this is plagiarism free and not "oyinbo man" recommended.. their ways are different from ours..

hope this helps!!
You're a victim of your society. This is why Nigeria has so many problems. You've alrady concluded that masturbation is a bad thing as your society tells you and you're so proud you have a solution. Lol. Go and observe other animals and you'll see otherwise. Use the internet to read what other people not Nigerian or African think and you'll do yourself a world of good. You're a kid and people your father's age are still masturbating and have been before you were born, wife/ girlfriend or not? Go and sit down somewhere jare and get a life

It is a simple question!!

By the way, Why would a 60 year old man who is a senator be criticizing the President on the structure of his cabinet when he is a grand father himself?

The fact is this- Ben Murray Bruce is only a few years younger than PMB.

Is he implying that there are no younger , qualified candidates in his constituency?
I have the distinguished honour of having Ben Bruce as my latest high-profile Nigerian blocker of mine who was never able to successfully engage me. You do see him taking screenshots of ppl he thinks he won an argument over. You ever see mine? Never, cos he would not follow my advice but can also not find a credible fault with it. So many others. I am, no doubt, one of Nigeria's best political minds and the reason you all may think I'm crazy as you never heard of me, is the same reason Nigeria remains backward - they always kill any solution to Nigeria's problems before it takes root because it will put them all in shame. You're substantially more likely to get fame and fortune and your material needs satisfied in this country if you focus on being a model, actor, musician, comedian, beauty contestant, pastor, and all of such activities that easily define a people lost in the wilderness and likely to drown in failure. The reason our comeuppance has tarried so long in coming is that we have been living on free money of oil: the white man discovered it, drilled it, buys it and all we do is collect the money and proceed on an orgy of opulent spending. Now they're one-leg up in trying to reverse that and we immediately start to groan. We are less than human if the whites are the definition of human.

Please ask Buhari, when you push us to buy dollars at the black market to pay fees abroad and give our folks for upkeep, you are increasing the demand of dollars in the black market. Will that not further increase the demand of dollars and still push the value of the dollars up against the naira ?

so I have to exchange 450 naira per pound to send to my folks in London. I dont really know what I am doing in this country. What is Buhari thinking ? The value of Naira is tied to oil and electricity supply. He cant control the oil but he can control electricity. With electricity, manufacturing sector will be revived and reliance on foreign goods will reduce and importers will have no need to buy dollars.

Illiteracy is a bad thing and I hate all those who voted for this slowpoke. I can confidently state that a dollar will exchange for 1000 naira before 2019.
If your head correct before, are you the one who is supposed to send money to someone in a richer country abi na him go send you money? Nigerians have carried on as if they're the richest country on earth while remaining actually one of the poorest. The US has for years been working on alternatives to importation of oil and we just carry on the jamboree like the apes we are. Their research has yielded fruits now and the rest is history. No black society should be self-governing; interestingly, this assertion was made by people we like to call racists 100+ years ago. They knew then what we still deny today, though being proved correct by PRACTICAL REALITY. All black men should bury their head in shame. This scenario is quite common amongst low level families with lowlife heads. The only tragedy is that it resulted in the man's death. I come from such a family too but I couldn't tackle my father physically. I disliked him till death and I prefer not to remember him now that he is dead.
It is the fault OF THE SOCIETY as I always say. It is the society that places the premium on the father to be the emperor of the home, one that can never be at fault. You can already see it in comments of many on here who are supposed to be the young modern faces of Nigeria. How much more for the older and unenlightened generation? My father's only memory of the bible is "honour your father and your mother" and I wish I could explain the extent to which that injunction can be stretched. Nigeria is a backward society, shikena!

Maybe that's why I can't function here and they all think I'm foolish. It is NOT about what y'all are capable of seeing, sadly. Liberia under Taylor had an 18 year old Youth minister. So? Obama was elected president at 47 so you all can scream about his age. Who are the frontrunners to replace him after he has done 8 good years in office? The youngest front runner is 14 years older than Obama! Nigerians have a long way to go. If we continue to kill my type who understands what your impatience and lack of humility can teach you, your great great-grandchildren will still be crying about the state of Nigeria and comparing with other nations while continuing to miss the point.
With respect to UAE, they're just as backward in their minds. The appointment of that girl does absolutely nothing to change what they are. It's just a publicity stunt such as is getting you all talking. I'm cursed with what I know. As King Solomon once said, "in much wisdom there is much grief"

Regis001:
I BET YOU THAT NO KOBO OF EBUKA UCHENDU WENT INTO THIS LAVISH WEDDING .POSSIBLY, HE MAY HAVE PAID FOR HIS OUTFIT, THATS ALL.
SOCIAL CLIMBERS ALWAYS LOOKING FOR GIRLS WITH RICH FATHERS THAT THEY CAN LEACH ON.
EBUKA IS NOT FROM A RICH HOME AND HIS EARNINGS CANNOT SUPPORT THIS KIND OF WEDDING
I KNOW SOME GROUPIE WILL JUMP OUT NOW TO TRY TO WHITEWASH HIS BACKGROUND OR SAY HE IS FROM A WELL TO DO FAMILY
AT LEAST, HIS FATHER IN LAW WILL SOON UPGRADE EBUKAS FAMILY HOME TO ENSURE HE MEASURES UP.......JUST SAYING,...
Really? Is this how our brains work in this country and we're complaining we have a dysfunctional society? What is the cut-off asset value a groom's family and bride's family should have for them to be compatible for marriage? Please I want to know. Our whole lives in this country have now been denominated in naira and dollar - materialism. Oh God! How will I explain to Nigerians that this is not life, since they all have been adjusted to this or (most) born into it (if you're under 30, you were born into it as Babangida had already destroyed Nigerian values by the time you could be aware of your surroundings).
