This is confusing...'Most beautiful Queen', 'Most beautiful girl', 'most beautiful lady'

Can someone please stop toying with us.
That's cos their market dey sell. Beauty, music, comedy, acting are the "talents" that are hot cake in Nigeria, that would be used to repair the misery black man is in. If you win one quiz competition, maybe you get a laptop or box television and sorry, no "record deal". Jungle of jokers!

PS: WWTBAM is a lottery and an entertainment show but even then, what you win is heavily dependent on Frank's huge ego and it ends there. Again NO "RECORD DEAL"

Hey Nairalanders, your advice and kind words might help me to get through with this challenge I'm having.
I graduated from the university early this year, immediately after my graduation my alma mata embarked on a 5months strike. As a result of this, I moved to lagos to enroll in a fashion and design academy, with the hope that immediately after the strike, we'll get our result and go for NYSC. The going was good until I received my result with a spill. I had just a course to rewrite, I thought the school will wave it since it was just one course so I decided to work it out but that didn't work. This resulted with me been left out when some of my mates are already in camp now. The feeling is devastating.
Now, I'm back home to rewrite the course. My father is really angry with, he said I've brought shame upon him and myself and he'll never forgive me. According to him, he has never failed in his life so why would I? He's making it look as if he sent me to school and I just played with his money. I feel like a failure and disappointment. I don't know what to do...feel like running away cos this man is terrible!!
Good example of my affirmation that age or marriage has nothing to do with maturity. Ya papa na small boy and I think he might have very tame wife and children or else, let him prepare for devastation when real-life issues come up, not this JOKE. I feel like crying about my life when I read that some people call what you describe a problem. Good luck with your life but keep hoping life does not show itself to you or ya papa

The responses to this post shows once more how far Nigeria is from any hope of redemption. The most troubled societies in the world are the ones who are big on religion; the most stable, progressive and happy nations in the world are the secular societies who are not big on religion. YET we don't get it. Why? Because we're blind; we can't see beyond our noses; we don't read about the world

PetsRe: Benefits Of Having A Dog by blackprowler: 11:03am On Oct 29, 2015
As long as it's a dog foreign to Nigeria, Nigerians are proud of owning dogs. They gush with relish how theirs is a cross between this and that. Some of those dogs are ugly, vicious, but as long as they're not indigenous, owners have pride while they term the local ones with the pejorative term "bingo". Many of your Bingo look horrible because of your confirmation bias: they're left unkempt and haggard and that in turn make you hate them even more. Have you ever seen a well-taken-care-of local dog? I've seen and my most-beloved former dog was local: intelligent, with a personality that can be interacted with. He was easy to buy and easy to let out to play outside being a "bingo". He once came back home with lots of friends I was amazed. I miss that dog and I'm sorry for Nigerian emptiness

I find it rather "heart-breaking" that you have to attach every article to monetary parameters. How did our society degenerate to this level?

Let me re-echo it again, that we do not have any sympathy for any mobile brand, neither do we write based on assumptions or emotions, but purely on facts.

It's really unfair to ask me how much Tecno paid me to put up this article because we are not for sale. We take the stuff we do on the blog seriously. Your time and your money are on the line when you’re deciding if you should purchase a tablet, smartphone, a PC peripheral, speakers, games or apps based on our judgement and we can't trade our reputation for a million dollars. Please take a seat! smiley
Take heart, Nigeria is rigged to remain backward and the people are the problem. Take all Nigerians out to Finland and take all Finnish people to Nigeria and give it 30 years; Nigerians in very-developed Finland would have wrecked and collapsed that country to a failed state and the Finnish people here would have turned this place into one of the normal developed nations as we have in Western Europe. Example: South Africa

Since ppl get such response as these when they tell the truth about something that has already happened, is it so far-fetched that most people in Nigeria tell lies so as to "conform"? This is why we're still having problems today trying to piece together things that happened in the past. For me I'm so happy about this interview as it has helped me understand what happened during that "war" on Kalakuta Republic. I don't know your age but we've been hoping for this insight for decades. They said Obasanjo and Danjuma just sent troops to destroy the place to teach Fela a lesson. The case even came up at the Oputa Panel. Did you know any of these? Nigerians are so judgemental when their world is so tiny. READ FOREIGN FORUMS AND YOU WILL OPEN YOUR MOUTH DOWN

See this thing o. Go and check: you'll see it is a dumb, clueless society such as Nigeria's that people refer to other people's upbringing all the time. Maybe you should question your mother's upbringing cos I can't be so sure how much older than me she is. Malema is battling Zuma in South Africa. No one has ever complained about his upbringing as the problem. Go and check their ages. But you're too Nigerian to know any of these

The fact that the absolute majority of Nigerians, regardless of their so-called education absolutely approve of these agents of Nigerian disunity as their so-called culture preservation is an indicator why we will so long also continue to be a backward people eternally disunited. All monarchs are a personification of our disunity. They cannot thrive in a world where we all reject any tribal schism and promote Nigerian identity. Sadly people are too far from the light to ever understand what I'm saying

India is a developing country that, like China, have made giant progress in the last 30 years. These countries are not in the same league as Nigeria in any way whatsoever: history, economy, military...anything. I keep wondering why Nigeria keeps forgetting her backward mates in Africa and keep comparing self with the top countries in one thing or the other in the world. Maybe because our ego is bigger than an elephant is bigger than other animals

I really really would wish the Igbos calling for their own country should get it, really. I only pity those Igbos who know that those people are suicidal because all Igbos will suffer the consequence. The only real problem for Nigeria is that even after they get their own country, they would fight a war with Nigeria when reality starts to dawn on them and they start looking for a scapegoat. There's nothing called Biafra. Biafra was territory seized by a man called Ojukwu from Nigeria simply because they gave him the privilege to be the military governor and it failed because the non-Ibos held hostage by Ojukwu in "Biafra" struggled to be free of him and Ibo lunacy. Nigeria stands to gain a great deal if Ibo leaves. Has anyone ever looked at Nigerian map?

AN OPEN LETTER TO General Buhari, General Obasanjo:

If they want a Biafra Republic, let them separate from the rest of Nigeria. The Igbo youth have started a revolution the Yoruba and Hausa youth have long be scared of facing. It will take such a revolution to CHANGE Nigeria. Jobs, education, quality of life has diminished in Nigeria. As a Social media influencer and community activist, I know that social media will take this into a new direction. We have a freedom of speech and expression in the Nigerian constitution. The world will hear their VOICES. The youth own Nigeria. They have constantly been told by their teachers that they are the future of Nigeria but yet none are in government or gainfully represented. President Jonathan's CONFAB was an example. No youth was represented, only old recycled leaders got the 12 million naira for a short useless job and two even died there. I had the opportunity to leave the country again. They are stuck over there. 3 First Class U.S degrees and no opportunity to work in the meaningful area I wanted. Now the FDA and CDC are using my talents when the Fed Ministry of Health and NAFDAC could do the same. My pension is here in the USA since I graduated at 22yo making $50,000 as a pharmacist to up to $125,000 in Canada 2012 in a 27 year career not adding my Journalism and PR salaries, two degrees I funded with my pharmacist salary. My social security statement says my monthly payment is now $25,000 a month if I were 65yo today. Imagine what I would get in 14yrs. These youth have no jobs nor will they see a pension. If they do, many may lose it to the same kind of thieves who stole the N10B Oyo state pension. The EFCC already destroyed that case with corruption in the civil service not dealt with. We only see the EFCC successfully prosecuting fraudulent youth. Many are stuck in Nigeria and then u complain they are resorting to internet fraud, money rituals or brazen armed robberies as a means of survival. Let us learn from Burkina Faso and Sudan. Northern and Southern Sudan are thriving separately. Even North Korea and South Korea are two totally different countries. This is not the Ojukwu era you President/Generals lived. This is their own era. Let them find their way. Free them. Lets not forget that many Igbos were slaughtered in Northern Nigeria when the #‎BokoHaram‬ insurgency started in 2009. Many perished in church explosions. #‎RIP‬ to their people and families.

To the Biafrans, please say NO to violence.
It is well with you!

Beta police in UK sef are not allowed to carry a gun but here, every animal who is in the police to do business with his uniform is wielding a gun. I once parked in a place a plain-clothed police guy didn't like and as he wanted to accost me (with the long story and standard attempt to squeeze money from me), I tried entering back into my car to run away and the guy removed a pistol from those black cellophane they use to sell petty items to SHOOT AND KILL A WHOLE LIFE. My whole point. I've said Jonathan is a product of Nigerian system. These people get doors flung open to them by our Nigerian values, in this case PhDs and paper qualifications. When we get what we deserve, we don't blame ourselves - we blame THEM. See what Jonathan suffered in the hands of Nigerians, many of whom voted for him but won't take responsibility for their choice, leaving someone like me who voted for someone else to start to defend Jonathan. Sex to me is a mental thing. Maybe you should try adopt a more enthusiastic approach/mindset to it. Hell, close your eyes & pretend he is Usher if that'll get your rocks off. Use your imagination. I believe people get bored because they want to be bored. With enough creativity in your head, it'll be like banging a new guy every night grin
It's good you realise the object is to make it seem like "banging a new guy every night". Lemme tell ya sth: monogamy is not natural; it is a social construct, not biological. Indeed it is contrary to nature. Only few people are naturally monogamous - the rest are forced to try by societal norms. Lastly, let me torpedo another myth: sexx and love are not tied together. You don't have to feel affection for someone to "do" them. All you need is sexual attraction and even that, as prostitutes have proved, you can do without. As many men have shown, you can love your wife, be a perfect father, AND STILL DO MANY GIRLS OUTSIDE. These have nothing to do with gender as abroad where they're fee from mental bondage, it applies to women equally

You seem to be the posterchild of the ignorant majority of Nigerians. So if both were virgins on wedding night and are married for 20 years, how would you explain? So in their 50s (or even 40s) if they have this complain you'll tell them they should stop because they've battered the petals for 20 years? I should be paid for my insights cos the vast majority of Nigerians don't know anything about how this life really works
PoliticsRe: What Does An Average Nigerian Citizen Benefit From The Government by blackprowler: 7:06am On Oct 28, 2015
OP, what has the government benefitted from you? You people have been deceived for so long in this country, you have a warped idea what government should mean and the role of the citizens. Let me tell you something: everyone is wrong in this country. Both the government AND THE CITIZENS are wrong and have no idea of their inter-relationship. Who told you there should be government at all? Why did man create government? Of course most Nigerians have religious delusions and can't answer that question because some name called "God" would be used as blanket evidence for everything.
Have you ever heard of John F Kennedy? Why do you think he said: "...ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country".

As I always say, there's a reason why America is great and black society is backward

Morality is not a subject in any school and black man SIMPLY DON'T GET IT! Reminds me of those talented brains that win Koranic recitation prizes by reciting verbatim a massive book.

As I always say, we do not understand how nations make progress. We equate speed with velocity (only my science ppl will understand) and activity with result (as Ben Bruce says)
