isysleek: Thanks pple. 1. Travel with the 2 passports. Make sure the first one has been cancelled without prejudice if it's still valid. 2. Your kid should have their visas embossed with the passport numbers that can travel with. If your passport is one of them, they can travel with you. |

I think it's a waste of money and time. For my kids, i never threw a one year party. I just make sure i take pictures every year and frame them. I think i started when the first was 4 to pack a little take away bag for school.
Birthday parties are over-rated. Although, my husband is of the opinion that is a good opportunity to network and bring friends and family together. |

21 is not too young to think of marriage. By 21, I was in a full blown relationship with my husband and i knew then it was heading for marriage.
I have seen final year male medical students getting married. Some as residents, etc. If in his final year, he doesn't know what he wants, please move on.
Not saying he should marry immediately but have some sort of plan. |

tayo60: Don't ever encourage her to pursue her doctorate degree o. How many men will want to marry a PhD holder at her age? How many single guys are PhD holder today? Don't u know guys may begin to avoid her like plague with her PhD? I know dt she may not want to marry someone dt has a lower qualification compares to her. It may b difficult for her to get who to marry cos of her educational status upon completion and have to wait till eternity. Let her find work to do first till she finds someone to marry, she can now further her studies after marriage. Let her avoid people who think like this. They are dream killers and will make her unhappy in her choice. |

Schwartz: Hello, seems you know about this Pension stuff. I also have a pension issue. While in Nigeria I worked for 10 years and I and the company I worked have been making consistent contributions to my pension fund account. I still receive emails showing my balance with them. Since I left what do I do to get my money back please? I am not a specialist. Don't know about your case. Why not write to your PFA requesting to withdraw your pension as you are no longer in the country. |

Ali929: Thanks. Sorry, I think you can actually withdraw from your voluntary contribution as long as it is not less than 5 years from when you contribute. It's the mandatory one you can't withdraw from. |

Ali929: Wow thats cool of mansard, guess maybe its cos u opted for the individual savings plan but pls do u ve an idea of Leadway Assurance. D company i work with opened a pension acct for all staffs & certain amount are deducted from our salaries monthly. Now d issue is dat i wil be resigning soon from d company. Do u know if its advisable to continue putting money into the pension acct (leadway pensure)? When you resign, give your RSA pin to your new employer so that they can continue paying in your pension there. It's illegal to open more than 1 pension account in your work lifetime. You can make voluntary contributions to your pension account but note that you can't withdraw the money until you retire at 60 years or you are sacked in your workplace. |

Children's toothbrush that used to be N100 per brush is now N180.
I used take my kids to choose their brush and would buy two each every month. Now, i buy one each and educate them on the how not to chew on the toothbrush when brushing.
In my office, paper is now gold. |

cocktopuss: Why go through all these when he is not her husband? Compliment? Ask for advise? Be warm? If this is what every female leader needs to be a good leader then women are NOT fit to lead organizations period! Everyone is there to work and make money for the company its shareholders and satisfy clients not unnecessarily fraternising.... Haba I support you wholeheartedly. Unfortunately, if you do that as a woman, people will say you are proud and lack interactive skills. |

goingape: I do compliment my formal boss and and sometime bought something for her when COMING BACK!
unfortunately she is not a black WOMAN! I just don't know what you people think you are!
why is it that you black people like doing THINGS the hard WAY?
the pride of a woman is sometimes mistaken as a viper!
you are a boss in that company doesn't mean you are a boss forever! one thing I know many female especially the black ones are lacking is communication and interactive skill with ya employee! this isn't good for business It's not about pride. I don't mind a compliment once in a while and I give them out as well. However, it shouldn't be a regular thing. Even when you are looking very sick and someone says you are looking really good today sounds insincere. Prove to me you are a hard worker by achieving results and I will make sure you get your due. However, kissing up to me won't make me like you any better. No one carries my stuff for me, I do it myself or get my personal staff. We discuss and set goals, give you all the support you require and all I ask for is results. I relate the same way with my boss. We set goals and I achieve them. That's why I am still one of his best staff. |

I am an easy going boss. However, if you are a lazy employee, you will hate me. Once you can achieve results, I will leave you to do your work. I hardly interfere.
I am a hard worker and I detest lazy ITK employees. Please don't compliment me neither should you kiss up to me. It makes me feel you are covering up for lack of competence. |

Have to start preparing the kids for school I would love to know how to tell age from teeth because it just seemed random to me. My first son had one tooth before the other and had complete 20 teeth by 26months whilst my second had 2 teeth first, then a second set of 2 teeth all up and then had full 20 teeth by 19months. |

sheweezy: Good day everyone. Please i have been thinking of something. I strongly believe in science and medicine and i am a 'follow Drs instruction' person. But lately i have been thinking cos Drs say when a child is teething the child shouldnt show all these our 'teething signs'. But is it possible for a child to teeth and not have any sign at all throughtout the entire teething period of life. Like high temperature or diarhoea or rashes or one thing or the other. Is it really possible? And when these things happen during the teething phase its really hard not to connect it to teething. Abeg enlighten me Most of those our "teething signs" are actually due to infections they pick up by putting dirty things in their mouths. I learnt from my first son and thus with my second, i was very careful of such. He had no symptoms except excessive saliva. We just woke up one morning and saw two teeth up. No diarrhea, no fever. He didn't get the flu till he started school. |

Nancy2016: Well maybe the best solution is for you to stop paying the fees so that when your kids are sent home for owing fees, she would understand that the situation is dire and she needs to step up and contribute towards the upkeep of the family. It would surprise you that the woman might not even care. She might sit down and let them stay out of school for months because "it is his responsibility to pay fees". |

fulfillment2020: Most people saying Nigerian banks issue credit cards don't know the difference between credit and debit cards. What our banks issues are debit cards. Stop speaking like an uneducated fellow. Why not just say you are not qualified for one. I have credit cards and i have debit cards and i know the difference between the two. Most banks issue credit cards but you need to pass credit checks from the credit bureau and your banking institution. |
