I only read one if the books partially. Basic economics is pretty good. Thomas Sowell writings are always interesting. I have listened to his other books like conquest and culture via audible.

Have you ever looked into criminality? Females are almost always less likely to be into criminality. Its mostly males that do risky behavior hence why prison population is higher for males. Its mix of genetics differences between sexes and parenting you mentioned. I doubt with added parents criminality will be lower with males than females.

Nigerians like either blaming foreigners or pretending crime only comes from the people they already have animosity with. The issue is even worse when you observe the published crime stats are always lazily done. The stats only report aggregate crimes instead of doing it by per capita basis. Doing it this way doesn't factor in population which why crime stats are supposed to reported on a per 100k basis. The last measure the NBS could improve is actually reporting victimization rates by tribe, perpetrator by tribe, and if they're foreigners. Reporting race is pretty common in a lot of countries but since 99.9 of Nigerians are same race that would be pointless.
