JMAN05:
Check Deut 6:5; Lev 19:18. That's the command Jesus was quoting. That was a different command from the ten. In fact, the ten was drawn from them.

You quoted Matt 5:19. Can u read the whole chapter to see how many laws included in the "law" Jesus mentioned. Check and you will get the picture clear.
You are confusing yourself.
Must Jesus mention all the law?
Jesus has already told you that a dot or T cannot be removed from that law.
What else do you want?

Matthew 5:17-18 ...'Think not that I am come to destroy the law,
or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily
I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle
shall in no wise pass from the law , till all be fulfilled.'
Now many Christians look at this verse and for some strange
reason use it to defend their belief that Jesus "did away" with
the ten commandments. And yet that is a clear contradiction
to what Jesus actually said above. Look, Jesus said He DIDN'T
come to destroy the law, He came to "fulfil". And that word
fulfil in the original language actually means "to bring FULL
MEANING" to the law. And the next verse is even more clear:
"Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise
pass from the law."
Do you see what Christ Jesus is saying here? It is so clear.
One jot or tittle shall NOT pass from the law till the end of this
world. What law? Read the rest of Matthew 5 and you will see
that Jesus was talking about the ten commandments. Friends,
if one jot or tittle has NOT passed from the ten
commandments, then the 4th commandment concerning the
sabbath day remains EXACTLY as it was, which means the
sabbath day is the 7th day of the week (our Saturday), not the
1st (Sunday).

Depending on the context, hell could mean grave or abode(holding place/prison) of unholy souls after death.

Ps16:10
"For You will not leave My soul in hell; You will not allow Your Holy One to see corruption."

Mat 18:9:
"And if your eye offends you, pluck it out and throw [it] from you. It is better for you to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into the hell of fire."
Ps 9:17:
"The wicked shall be turned into hell, all the nations that forget God."

Lake of Fire is empty as of now for it will only be populated after the resurrection.
Rev 20:10:
"And the Devil who deceived them was cast into the Lake of Fire and Brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet [were]. And he will be tormented day and night forever and ever."

Rev 20:15:
"And if anyone was not found having been written in the Book of Life, he was cast into the Lake of Fire."

In fact, Hell too will be cast into the lake of fire

Rev 20:13-14:
"And the sea gave up the dead in it. And death and hell delivered up the dead in them. And each one of them was judged according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the Lake of Fire. This is the second death."
Our interest is the lake of fire or Gehenna translated as Hell fire.
They are one and the same thing.

Obviously you don't know the meaning of kingdom my friend.

It simply means GOVERNMENT, where the rulers have their governmental seat in the central or capital of the city/country, while other citizens living in harmony with the constitution of the government are in other places under the jurisdiction of the government.

So it's not two Kingdoms Sir, it's still the same kingdom having the governmental seat where the King lives! smiley

Hmmm poor understanding is harsh but let's see who has a very poor understanding here.

Explain this scripture Act 24:15

15 And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.

Who are the Just and who are the Unjust?
Why will the unjust be resurrected?

Or will those wicked ones now, who are hearing the word of God everyday will be resurrected?

Remember, the wages that sin pays Death. So after paying for one's sin with death... God will resurrect an already judged and convicted person back to life to kill him again? So, God is that unjust abi?

Pls go back to study what judgement really is in the Bible. You can know how to quote Genesis to Revelation but insight is more important.
You proved my perceptions right.
The unjust will be resurrected inorder to face judgment and to receive their punishment called the second death.

Wages of sin is death, thats the death the unjust will face in the lake of fire.

The death which everyone dies now is not the second death which only the unjust will receive .
If so why are just and righteous men such as David,Abraham,Jacob,Moses dead?

That was an effort by you I must say. However, it will be a stretch to state that the ten commandments has been before the law came. The law came along thru covenant that God established with the Jews. Blood was involved in it. So, you can't compare that to what God said prior to the law's establishment.

So, there's a difference. The thing is, God has always had standards of right and wrong even before the law came on board.

I did say to you that Jesus did observe the law. The law was out of the way after his death. Of course, he pointed out the principles in the law while alive cos this will replace the strict law observance.

Notice in that Matthew 5, that Jesus did not isolate the ten commandments as the commandments he mentioned in verse 19.

See verses 23,24 still encouraged animal sacrifice. Verses 33, 38 is also not among the ten. These are among the commandments Jesus mentioned in verse 19.

I have said before, if you take only the ten commandment, you are rejecting the most important commandments which are: love God with all your heart, soul and strength, and loving your neighbor as yourself. (Deut 6:5; Lev 19:18) these are not part of the ten. So all the commands, including the ten commandments emanated from these two. Yet these two is not part of the ten.

I give advise: when considering the law, consider it as a whole. Do not detatch some from the rest. The law is a body of rules. They are together.
What are the principles of the law, can you mention them?

You are confusing yourself the 10commandments are not different from the 2commandments to love God and ones neighbor.
Matthew 22:39-40
And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’
40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two
commandments.”

Where is it written that we should consider the law as a whole?
When God appeared in mount Sinai how many laws did he give the Israelites?

You are cutting and placing Bible verses to fit your preconceived beliefs.

Let's assume he is not allowed to commit that specific offence. The point is, he has now been adopted by another nation with a different law. The new nation's laws could have similarity with the old. But there will always be difference.

The law of Christ is not just against murder, but helps us never to hate our fellow even in our hearts. It does not condone the actions condemned by the law. But helps you be a man of principle cos conditions vary.

Notice what Paul counselled against in 1cor 6:9,10.
More personal talks than facts.
Which one is the law of Christ?

You shoot yourself on the foot, how can the law be abolished when Jesus raised the bar of the law?

Fornication is not only when one sleeps with a woman but by lusting looking at a woman is Sin

Killing is not when we use gun to shoot people but when we have unwarranted anger towards others it is also seen as murder by God.

Does this look like a law that was changed or abolished?

It was so important that you can be circumcised on a Sabbath day.

Act 2:1-4

All such people will humbly surrender their lives to live in harmony with the principles set by this God and so when this God comes to destroy all rebellious descendants of Adam, such people will be spared! (2) Jerusalem is situated on a mountain and that's why it's called mount Zion, the significance of this mountain is that it's the place God promised that his Kingdom will be established on David's throne! Isaiah 9:7,16:5

But the Jews kept profaning this place until they finally rendered it not fitting for such a glorious site {Matthew 23:35-38} that's why Jesus after noticing how devastated his followers are as soon as they heard all the evil that's coming upon Jerusalem {Matthew 24:1} he made them know God's next plan for those who supposed to rule as Jesus' corulers in Jerusalem, he told them that another better arrangement has been put in place for them! John 14:1-4

That's how Zion (the seat of God's Kingdom) which supposed to be Jerusalem on planet Earth now taken to Heaven! smiley

The resurrection is God's plan to reward the loyal ones (righteous) and those who only lived by conscience without formal knowledge of the true God, these ones God referred to as unrighteous!

Both will be resurrected back to life on planet earth NOT heaven! Act 24:15

God's original purpose for mankind is to live FOREVER on this planet, that's why all those faithful servants of God always talked about their hope of living again ON EARTH! Psalms 37:9-11, 29, Proverbs 2:20-21, Isaiah 65:21-25

But why did the story changed after the coming of Jesus the one called (Messiah)?

God's plan is for a government to be led by a PERFECT incorruptible human who will lead all obedient humans back to God {Isaiah 9:6-7} there is none of Adam's descendants who qualifies for this {Psalms 49:7-9} so God has to transform one of his angelic sons into an embryo and put him in the womb of a Jewish virgin.

This perfect man will
©Teach humans what God had in mind for creating them.
©Assemble a governing body in Jerusalem (the city where God chose for the sit of his government)
©Lay down his perfect human life as a ransom sacrifice for the sin brought upon humans by Adam.
©Resurrected and go back to his own home in heaven where he came from.
©His government will see to it that the earth is filled with the accurate knowledge of God.
©Disobedient ones will be exterminated by the resurrected Christ who will lead the angels in heaven to come and destroy all the enemies of God.

But Jerusalem has been profaned with the blood of so many faithful servants of God, the Jews kept killing all those sent to help them return to God's favour of having this government on their soil. Matthew 23:37-38

So Jesus begged his father for him to secure a place in heaven for this governing body who will be selected amongst his loyalists. John 17:1-26

Even Jesus' followers were devastated when he pronounced woe on Jerusalem (the place where they expected to stay and rule with him) that's why he revealed them the new plan! John 14:1-4, 15:15

That's how the idea of going to heaven became part of the plan, God will select only amongst the Christians who have been taught by his only begotten son to rule in heaven with the Christ.

Jesus said "of all those born by women there has never risen a man greater than John the baptist but the least in the kingdom is greater than John"
Matthew 11:11

This is so because John the baptist was the last prophet who saw and baptized the promised Messiah, but since he was not oppotuned to live as one of his students he can't be part of those going to heaven, his reward will be that of all other faithful servants of God before him which is a resurrection on planet earth.

John will be the greatest for two main reason!

First he is the one and only prophet who saw God's anointed one (Messiah) face to face, secondly John will be the only person who will tell us how Jesus really look like, his behaviour, his mother, brothers and sisters and so many other things we might wish to know about the man Jesus, because all the first century Christians who walked with Jesus were BORN AGAIN, meaning they're all going to heaven.

And none of those who live with him yet failed to believe in him will be resurrected back to life, they have been judged already {John 3:18} except the THIEF with whom Jesus personally made a promised of living in Paradise!

Thanks! smiley

I understand that you people have been taught that all good and bad people will be taken to heaven and hell respectably but that doesn't mean everyone will close their ears to some other religious group saying it's not so! smiley
You can imagine the crap this false teachers(JW) are teaching.

The Earth they claim will be theirs is saved for judgement and destruction by Fire.

Wakeup.

John 14:16 New International Version (NIV)
16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another
advocate to help you and be with you forever—

What has another Advocate has to do with where the saved will be?
Of course that advocate is the Holy spirit which is the spirit of Christ.

Rev:1-4

14 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God[a ];
believe also in me. 2 My Father’s house has many rooms; if
that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there
to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place
for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you
also may be where I am. 4 You know the way to the place
where I am going.”

Where is it written that Jesus was referring to only a certain type of saved people?
