During colonial times, European powers exploited Africa for
the vast resources that it possesses.
But what China is doing today is actually much worse.
Alex Jones is live right now covering China’s takeover of
cyberspace as well as our 3D universe.
Yes, the Chinese greatly desire African resources, but
ultimately what they want is Africa itself.
But instead of conquering Africa using military force, China is
using economics instead.
Today, more than 10,000 Chinese-owned firms are operating
in Africa, and virtually every major road, bridge, railway and
skyscraper is being built by the Chinese.
As a result, most African nations are very deeply indebted to
China at this point.
And as you will see below, when those debts go bad that gives
the Chinese a tremendous amount of leverage.
Many people believe that the endgame for China is to make a
whole lot more money and to gain control over a whole lot
more resources. And China is undoubtedly pursuing those
goals, but as Forbes has noted , ultimately what this is about is
turning Africa “into another Chinese continent”…

The reason Chinese corporations are in Africa is simple; to
exploit the people and take their resources. It’s the same
thing European colonists did during mercantile times,
except worse. The Chinese corporations are trying to turn
Africa into another Chinese continent . They are squeezing
Africa for everything it is worth.
Right now, approximately two million Chinese citizens already
live in Africa, and that number is steadily rising with each
passing month.
These days, it is difficult to find a major construction project
on the continent that is not being handled by the Chinese, and
this has enabled them to put their imprint on some of the
largest African cities. For example, just check out what is
happening in Nairobi, Kenya…

On the outskirts of Nairobi, Kenya, a small sign points to
“Beijing Road,” where a new housing development called
the Great Wall Apartments looks like the concrete towers
you’d find in a Chinese city.
Across Africa, Chinese developers are building highways,
light rail systems, apartment buildings, and entire cities .
Most of the “cities” that China is building are known as
“special economic zones”. These “special economic zones”
are essentially enormous self-sustaining Chinese cities that
have been dropped right into some of the most strategic parts
of Africa. For example, one of the biggest has been built right
next to Lagos, Nigeria …

Next to Lagos, Nigeria, Chinese developers have built a
walled-off “special economic zone”–basically a separate
city, with separate rules designed to attract investors –
based on a model they’ve used inside China for the last 30
years. After Shenzhen became a special economic zone in
the 1980s, it went from a small town of 20,000 to, by some
counts, 15 million today.
In these “special economic zones”, you will find Chinese
factories staffed with Chinese managers that are supervising
Chinese workers that are using Chinese equipment to make
their products.
And the size of some of these projects is absolutely
staggering. Just check out what has been planned for an area
along the coast of Tanzania …

Bagamoyo, if the project goes ahead as planned, will be
transformed into the largest port in Africa. That is looking
ever more likely: after years of delay, the Tanzanian
government says it is in the final stages of talks with state-
run China Merchants Holdings International.
The lagoon will be dredged, to allow access to the vast
cargo ships that will queue many miles out to sea. As for
the special economic zone, the original masterplan shows
factories in a fenced-off industrial area, and apartment
blocks to accommodate the estimated future population of
75,000. There is even talk of an international airport. Many
of the villagers have already accepted compensation for the
loss of their homes.
Of course Chinese development is definitely not limited to
these “special economic zones”. In Ethiopia, the capital city of
the entire nation is literally becoming known as “the city that
China built” …

Cars chug through the city on smooth Chinese roads,
Chinese cranes lift the skyline, sewing machines hum in
Chinese factories in Chinese-owned industrial parks,
tourists arrive at the Chinese-upgraded airport and
commuters ride modern Chinese trains to work.
Simply put, Addis Ababa is becoming the city that China
built — but at what diplomatic and economic cost?
Are you starting to get the picture?
As the western world sleeps, the Chinese are literally taking
over an entire continent.
And as they increasingly dominate the landscape
economically, they are bringing their culture with them as
well …

Chinese influence also goes beyond physical infrastructure.
Now it’s possible to pick up a copy of China Daily, China’s
state-run newspaper, in some African cities, and watch
CCTV, China’s state-run news channel. Some cities have
Chinese language schools, and some African students are
given grants to go study in China.
Apologists for China could point out that all of this
development has pulled millions of Africans out of poverty.
And that is true.
But all of this development also carries with it a very hefty
price tag …

China is now Africa’s biggest trade partner, with Sino-
African trade topping $200 billion per year. According to
McKinsey, over 10,000 Chinese-owned firms are currently
operating throughout the African continent, and the value of
Chinese business there since 2005 amounts to more than $
2 trillion, with $300 billion in investment currently on the
table. Africa has also eclipsed Asia as the largest market
for China’s overseas construction contracts. To keep this
momentum building, Beijing recently announced a $1 billion
Belt and Road Africa infrastructure development fund and,
in 2018, a whopping $60 billion African aid package, so
expect Africa to continuing swaying to the east as
economic ties with China become more numerous and
robust.
Needless to say, the Chinese are not doing all of this out of
the goodness of their hearts. African governments are going
very deep into debt in order to afford all of this infrastructure,
and several of them are now in way over their heads…

There have already been warning signs: the $4 Addis
Ababa-Djibouti Railway ended up costing Ethiopia nearly a
quarter of it’s total 2016 budget, Nigeria had to renegotiate
a deal with their Chinese contractor due to their failure to
pay, and Kenya’s 80% Chinese-financed railway from
Mombasa to Nairobi has already gone four times over
budget, costing the country upwards of 6% of it’s GDP.
This is the sort of predatory lending that western powers once
did so well, but now China has taken things to an entirely new
level.
And once China has an African government by the throat, they
can be absolutely ruthless …

There have been credible reports of talks between the
Zambian government and China on handing over the
country’s national electricity company, ZESCO to the
Chinese due to the inability of Zambia to meet its loan
repayment promises. This is expected as China is already
in control of the country’s broadcasting company, ZNBC.
There are also fears the main airport in Lusaka could be
the next target.
Obliviously, Zambia is in trouble. And for other African
beneficiaries of Chinese loans, they should prepare for the
same possibility in the eventuality that they aren’t able to
repay China.
Basically, Zambia is in the process of becoming totally owned
by China.
And this is going to happen in country after country until
someone stops them.
But who is going to stop them?
After all, the U.S. is about a trillion dollars in debt to the
Chinese at this point.
When it comes to foreign policy, China is playing chess while
most of the western powers are playing checkers.
They are literally running circles around us, and we are so
clueless that we don’t even understand what is happening.

it is totally false.

I gave you several explanations and links to prove that the preaching was done by Christ through Noah during the 120yrs that God gave the people to repent and turn away from there sin. it was done while the people were still alive.

1 Peter 3:18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: 3:19 By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison; 3:20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the (longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah), while the ark was a PREPARING, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.

All the evidence points out that the preaching was done before these people died.

Question was the ark been prepared before or after the flood and death of these people?

Stop denying clear bible scriptures in order to promote your personal beliefs or man made doctrines.

You still have not answered my question.
Did your spirit live on did it know what was happening around you? how did you know you were truly dead?

God has already revealed the truth through his word. he cannot confuse or contradict himself.

The Hallmark of a good Coach is to use his first season to understand his players and the league and to find areas that need improvement, by there 2nd season they are expected to do better.
Mourinho did it in his 2nd stint at Chelsea when he brought Costa and fabragas in his 2nd season, Pep also did it and won the league in his 2nd season.
Only klopp takes 3yrs to turn his team into winning team.

Klopp can't manage very established teams like Barca because Klopp don't like the pressure to win on first season or very quickly.he wants to take his time to build ...So RM, Juve , Barca and even Bayern won't suit him. Liverpool gave him time ..No big club would have tolerated Klopp for 4 years to win one cup ....they won't ...he too won't like the pressure from day one ....
Coaches like JM , Pep can withstand pressure that but not Klopp
Pep can groom players too but he hasn't been at a small club to do that ....but he has been at youth team in Barca ..so he can do it just that the big clubs are always after him.....it's just how it is and they want result quickly...he has no choice ...

Millions on "defenders"? Matip was free, Robbo was for 8m, Arnold from the academy, he met Lovren and Gomez so I don't get where the "spent millions on defenders" came from. Conte had a John Terry, Fabregas, Diego Costa, Alvaro Morata, David Luiz, Hazard and co. Sarri also inherited most of these players.

Everybody knows Chelsea aren't patient with their managers so there is little or no room for error.

Now look at the players Klopp inherited and only a little over a handful of those players would even make it in today's team but in that 4years that he's stayed, he's won how many trophies?
You could have listed the players Klopp inherited.

In 2015(which wasn't his first full season) he took Liverpool to the Europa league final and a league cup final even with the crop of mediocre players at his disposal granted he didn't win it.

Glad u know that Pep in his first season with the likes of Kun ,Yaya, Kompany and co(mind u, these guys won the trophy b4 he came) didn't win anything.

But hey, if u agree on what you agree on, u do u fam.

In Dortmund he had Gundogan,Lawendosiki,Marco reus, Mario Götze, Mats Hummels,Sven Bender, Nuri Sahin, Neven Subotic
and Kevin Großkreutz.

All this were world class players.

Pep went trophy less his first season, won EPl his next 2 seasons and now this present season his 4th.

Seriously, I need an adventist to change my mind because I am having an encounter with one who does not portray anything I can call a daughter of God. In regards to the bolded area, how can you say the story of hell and heaven is not abstract? Of course it is. The challenge with most christians is that they try choking in the throats of others their conviction. Well, I am a christian....and you should read my thread in the religious section. But I am realistic. Everything is abstract.

Let me shock you. Bible is made with nornal ink on pieces of paper sown or glued together. It is just like the normal textbooks I used from my elementary to the university. Lol. Guy, if I use it today to clean my bom bom, nothing will happen to me. Same with Quran and all other religious books.

But guess what! That glued pieces of paper can be powerful, but only when the breath of life is on it. Bam! It becomes alive and real. Go and read the book of John where Jesus is revealed as the word. Those pieces of paper must receive life to be active. And then, they become active. But it is based on the subject using the pieces of paper. The same pieces of paper used by Subject A can be fire, while they remain the same pieces of paper in the hand of subject B. It is why I do not believe in the doctrine of preservation of items or materials used by great men. That is idolatory in my world.

So, I believe that revelation is the only way these teachings can be real. Therefore, to make sense to my readers, I always use simple ways. I let them know that these issues are abstract, but they can be real. So, they are abstract sir. And they will remain so till the breath of life comes on them.

I read everything you posted. And I still want to learn more. I wish you can open a thread on these topics. And maybe more adventists can come out. I want to know why they observe Sabbath day. Though, I have nothing against it. The recent debate of whether it is good to celebrate Xmas or not is just in-line with what I am trying to know. But guess what, I love the response of Sam Adeyemi of Day Star. He said that the western world who brought christianity are enjoying electricity 24/7 even during this period because they concentrate on what are important, while we are here debating whether we should eat Xmas meat or not. Lol. And he finished his response by saying "May sense fall on us". Lol. That is a realistic man. I love him. Will anyone go to hell fire by believing there is hell or not? I am still asking. Is it a criterion for salvation? And like I said, if your opponent faces you that the fire is going to burn forever, you will just wonder what is up. And since the Adventist does not even know when the fire willl stop, .....come on! But let us be really realistic....does it make sense to keep laying strong emphasis that there is fire somewhere which will burn people when they die at the point of winning their souls?

I was traveling to another state recently in a public bus and this guy who was behind me started preaching just when I was receiving an important call. He was shouting. And I quickly waved at him that he should please lower his voice that the call is important. Do you know what this guy did? He started shouting who am I to stop the gospel of the most high God. That there is hell. People will burn there. Bla bla bla. He was cursing everyone in the bus, and even spoke against Islam. I saw the faces of the moslim folks there...so red. They almost exploded, but thank God for patience. How can anyone want to preach and be shouting people he is trying to preach to will rot in hell. I found if funny. And this is the way almost all these street evangelists behave with their useless sound system shouting people will rot in hell. What is wrong in passing the gospel of love? Why can't they focus on love? Oh....John 3.16....and they leave out "love", but concentrate on the word "perish". This is my point.

Yeah! I want to understand more about Adventist. I want to believe it is not a sect because to me these people look gentle. And i think Ben Carson is one too. Even, the presidents' pastor, Billy Graham said "They are sound on the great New Testament doctrines including grace and redemption through the vicarious offering of Jesus Christ 'once for all' ". I truly want to believe this.

I forgot to add, on the issue of Christmas, the Bible did not record the exact day Jesus was born neither did the Bible tell us to celebrate it.
The truth is that Christmas has pagan origins. but my personal view is that the Churches should inform their congregations about the true origin of Christmas celebration. It should be up to the members or individuals to decide if they would honour the birth of Jesus on 25th or not.

Just like apostle Paul urged Christians to do.

Romans 14:5.
One man esteems one day above another: another esteems
every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own
mind.

I don't think God will cast people to Hell for celebrating Jesus on the 25th of December.

Ellen G white one of the pioneer's of Adventist Church, she advised members to reflect on the importance of the celebration which is Christ rather than to focus on the day of birth she also asked members to use that period to show love and gratitude to one another and to God

First on the issue of Hell.
God in his power, authority and omnipotence has explicitly declared what will be the fate of the righteous and the wicked, it is our duty to accept it.
On the issue of Hell been abstract, I find it amazing that some people share this thoughts or view. but it is totally wrong because God has given us sufficient evidence, revelation and clues to know that Hell will actually be a place of physical burning and torment of the wicked and not just and Idea, thought or feeling.
Here are some verses to ponder on with regards to the matter.
Remember that Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed by physical fire and we are told that there destruction is an example of what will befall the wicked.

Matthew 10:15 Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrhah in the day of judgment, than for that city.

2 Peter 2:6 And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrhah into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;

Luke 17:29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.

Thessalonians 1:8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
2 Peter 3:7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. 2 Peter 3:12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

This is not abstract.

Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

God's word is not abstract Jesus said his word is life and spirit,God's word already carry life,power and authority it does not need more revelation for it to come to life. what it needs is for the believer to have faith and to exercise the word of God over any circumstance.

On the issue of the sabbath day you will agree with me that there is no clue or divine direction or authority establishing Sunday as the day of worship instead of the sabbath day instituted by God.
The Catholic church has confessed that they were the ones who changed the day of worship.
You will also agree with me that neither Jesus , or his disciples or Mary his mother ever kept Sunday as the day of worship even after the death and resurrection of Jesus.

Many people are quick to blame Christianity for the under development of Nigeria and Africa but the truth is Christianity has done more good than harm(If there is any).
Even if you take away Christianity from Nigeria and Africa we will still not have electricity and good running water.
You can do your research on African nations who are majority Muslims or traditional religious people e.g is Somalia and Haiti.

The Existence of Hell fire does not depend on weather we believe it or not, like I said before. God has given us much evidence and clue for us to learn and choose so we are without excuse.
Many people never believed that HIV was real but that did not stop them from contacting and dying from the disease.
We cannot claim that Hell does not exist based on we do not know its duration.
I think God does not owe us any answer explanation with regards to that.

I don't subscribe to that idea that people need to be shouted or cursed with Hell fire in order for them to be saved. I think thats were pastors get it wrong, although there job is to warn and try to persuade people to turn to God, the final decision is that of the individual to make.

Adventist is not a sect or cult as most ignorant people claim.
The truth which is the word of God is there for everyone to see and Adventist Church although not perfect , they are in line with God's word and purpose.

Well, after reading through the links, it is really the same debate. After listening to the two sides of the reality of eternity in hell, I have concluded on one truth which is death. While you are in support of death as the exact time the fire in hell will be put off, your opponents think death is eternity in hell. But all the links refused to answer the question when hell fire will be put off. Hmmmm!

Going by this debate, it is an easy one for me to not bother myself too much on the subject. And really, there is no truth anyone can say in regards to abstract debates. You are talking of another life. The question is: what if you are wrong too? The issue is that it does not matter if you are wrong because that you believe hell is eternity or not will not disqualify you from making heaven (let us assume there is one). So, why this arguement? Why is this truth so important? Of what use? I mean, what difference does it make? Why turn such abstract debate into a doctrine?

My view is that divine revelation is a reliable individualistic conviction when it comes to abstract and the life to come. For Christ sake, one is left more confused because the same bible is what your opponent will use to back up his claim. It is just sad that the argument is everlasting. Why? It is abstract. Only personal conviction through revelation can make one satisfied. The real deal is to wait till after we die. Lol. You still gat to wait. Perhaps you will then start the argument then. Hmmm!

Please, an adventist should come to my aid. I really need to read about the investigative judgment. If there are points on annihilationist view of hell, kindly let me know.

The bible is not open for personal interpretation or convictions.
People fell to apply the golden rule required to understand God's word,and that is every word of God must be reconciled with each other. that's the reason for divergent doctrines and teachings in Christianity.

There is nothing abstract about eternity, God's word is clear on the fate of the righteous and the wicked.
Am not sure you read those links I sent you, if you did you would have discovered that only an annihilation view agrees with every other word of God.

On when the fire of Hell would be put off, This question can only be answered by God because the bible did not give a definite time or period it will last.

On the issue investigative judgment the scope is too large and I don't have the time now to explain it all, but I have included links that explain it far better than I would have.
