Africa is not backward because of it belief system, rather, it is due to lack of integrity and will of an average African to defend what he believes. An average African can be easily swayed into changing his belief provided you have 'goodies' to shut his mouth and mind.
Africa is backward becos most Africans are dumb with a dumb culture.

THEN WHY ARE YOU USING WHITE MAN'S PHONE TO COMMUNICATE WITH YOUR GRANDMOTHER INSTEAD OF HER MIRROR?
What a Crap!

Witchcraft is different from Science and technology.

Witchcraft and occultism is universal it exists in the West, Africa,Europe,Asia everywhere it exists.

Witchcraft can never contribute anything good rather it destorys a Nation or people.

The difference is White are more rational and intelligent, they are able to use Science effectively to produce and develop there Country they believe in magic and have been known to practise it even before colonizing Africa but they know that magic and witchcraft are not equivalent to Science and cannot be relied on.

Africa is backward becos we are dumb not becos we rejected Witchcraft.

If Witchcraft could make a nation rich Haiti could have been the richest.

actually, I do read the Bible ...since I was a kid... I grew up reading the Bible, I wake up with it, sleep with it,... it is my most read literature, I go over it over and over again... it is my manual for life... yesterday, today, tomorrow... I can't even begin to explain it to you...

but you are right about something though,

I don't interpret it like 21 century Protestants do, because I also know it is the work of the Church, for the Church... as part of the deposit of faith in the Church. From the beginning it was meant to be read and studied and interpreted in the Church not outside by every Tom, dik and Harry twisting it to support a 16 th century invention called Protestantism.

I'm am happy to have read scriptures on my own, but most happy to study it in the Church for whom it was made, the pillar and bulwark of truth, of whom the gates of hell never prevailed
Reading the bible everyday does not mean you know or understand what is written in it, this is obvious becos if you really read and understand the Bible you will see that your Church doctrine contradict the Bible.

you should ask yourself why you have been indoctrinated to believe that Jesus left his Church and gave it over to heretics.
Laughable, the problem is you don't read your bible, you depend on your priest to interprete and to educate you on bible issues. Thats too bad.

You guys don't know Neji then. Neji was condemned to being the second class in the family, but he rose to become the pride even though he fell tragically. Messi doesn't track back. Playing a deeper role isn't the same as tracking back.

An Argentina Messi is more useless than the P is psychology, all thanks to the absence of his Barcelona team mates. Yes, he may have saved them in their last qualifiers match but we are talking about the same Messi who had resigned from National football after a disappointing national tournament.

Argentina has more stars compared to Portugal and Ronaldo has done more than the extraordinary in carrying the team on his shoulder. Comparing Neji to Messi is an insult to Neji, really. You become a failure if you fail to make it count despite the many resources available to you.

A side with Di Maria, Dybala, Mascherano, Higuain, Aguero, Tevez, Lavezzi, Gago, Banega, Otamendi and 'back tracker' as you claimed, yet, they can neither play Spain nor Germany and get a quality result. Ronaldo has failed many times than Messi and got right back to become a better player. Messi lost a penalty, cost his team a national glory and resigned. Failure is not the best word to use on him, and I'm still looking, hoping to get the right word.

Nairaland General › Corruption In Asia Vs Africa by blueAgent(op): 8:04am On Oct 26, 2017
While many Africans will point out corruption as the major cause of Africa's undevelopment,i personally think it is lack of foresight and good planning skills coupled with greed.
This extract reaffirms my thoughts.

“An Asian and an African become friends
while they are both attending graduate
school in the West. Years later, they each
rise to become the finance minister of their
respective countries. One day, the African
ventures into Asia to visit his old friend,
and is startled by the Asian’s palatial home,
the three Mercedes-Benzes in the circular
drive, the swimming pool, the servants.
‘My God!’ the African exclaims, ‘We were
just poor students before! How on earth can
you now afford all this?’
And the Asian takes his African friend to the
window and points to a sparkling new
elevated highway in the distance. ‘You see
that toll road?’ says the Asian, and then he
proudly taps himself on the chest. ‘Ten
percent.’ And the African nods approvingly.
A few years later, the Asian ventures to
Africa, to return the visit to his old friend.
He finds the African living in a massive
estate sprawling over several acres. There’s
a fleet of dozens of Mercedes-Benzes in the
driveway, an indoor pool and tennis courts,
an army of uniformed chauffeurs and
servants. ‘My God!’ says the Asian. ‘How on
earth do you afford all this?’

This time the African takes his Asian friend
to the window and points. ‘You see that
highway?’ he asks. But the Asian look and
sees nothing, just an open field with a few
cows grazing.

‘I don’t see any highway,’ the Asian says,
straining his eyes.

At this, the African smiles, taps himself on
the chest, and boasts, ‘One hundred
percent!’ ”

i bet you don't know the actual meaning of competition.. Well lemme just give you a hint. Competition is when maybe a friend of yours build a duplex in the new atlantic city and no you are running and doing everything possible to make sure you build something more than the duplex even on top sky.. That's what we call competition, dino melaye is buying different cars because he loves and enjoy exotic ride, he is just a senator.. And i know of an ex governor and still would walk around to church with his legs. Dino isn't competing with anyone but doing what he loves the most and so also the ex governor.. They are not in competition mode with anyone.. That your phrase the world itself is a competition has sent alot of people to untimely grave because they want to get to where there friends are without knowing how they did it. Life is not a competition, or else you'd be frustrated to death if you start competing with some people.. That's why you'd see ronaldo been frustrated whenever he couldn't score a goal in a match and wether messi scores or not, once the team wins.. That's all he ever wanted.

This is an ignorant statement. Football is a collective sport, not an individual venture. It's not lawn tennis, nor is it sumo wrestling. You don't win Champions League for your club, especially if your club is not one particularly keen on winning.

If Messi didn't win the CL and Ronaldo did, it doesn't make Ronaldo the better performer. It only means Real Madrid as a unit were better than FC Barça. (Which really is why Ronaldo won the award, and not because he was exceptionally bright)

Can you honestly say Messi's performance at the Copa America pales in comparison to Ronaldo's performance at the Euro 2016? Even though Ronaldo won the Euros (he didn't even play more than 15 minutes in the final game) and Messi did not win Copa America, Messi's individual input was far superior to that of Ronaldo's. (Portugal as a unit deserve the accolades, not Ronaldo, who was sub-par all through the competition.)

Statistics show that Messi was the better of the two when the individual performances of the both players are juxtaposed, so I really shouldn't be having this conversation with you. After all, experience has shown that Nairalanders are hardly of the habit of responding to logic.
I concur.

Imagine Ronaldo had to stepup his game 3folds inorder to compete with Messi.
While Messi was busy enjoying himself playing football(no stress) with the awards coming naturally like second to nature.

What if Messi decides to compete with CR7
and stepsup his game which means Ronaldo go die for pitch before his retirement.

Read more about congo, you will know that no country is near congo in terms of natural resources, the problem with estimating congo's wealth is that majority of its land areas are in rebel's hand so it is unsafe to do extensive findings. The DR Congo has the world’s largest reserves of cobalt and significant quantities of the world’s diamonds, gold and copper. This makes the DRC potentially one of the richest country in the world. DR Congo is commonly considered as the wealthiest country in the world in terms of natural resources with an estimated evaluation of 24 trillion dollars ($24 trillion) in natural minerals– equivalent to the (GDP) gross domestic product of Europe and the United States combined together.
The Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) - Africa's second-largest country - boasts some of the richest mineral deposits in the world.
Its uranium was used in the atomic bombs dropped on Japan in 1945; today, its massive coltan reserves are used to make everyday electronic devices like cell phones. Yet for the people who live in the DRC, the minerals have often been less a gift than a curse. Violent armed groups exploit resource-rich areas to support themselves, often raping and killing villagers nearby.
Congo is no match for Russia.

Russia's mineral wealth is estimated at $75Trillion .

Christianity Etc › Re: Patterns Vs Codes. Certainly There Is A Sort Of Creator That We Don't Know. by blueAgent(m): 9:51pm On Oct 23, 2017
Horlufemi:
A pattern is any distinctly organized sequence. Patterns occur everywhere in nature — the spiraling seeds of a sunflower, the hexagonal cells of a honeycomb, the circular ripples on a pond when a fish jumps, et cetera.

On the other hand, “Codes are special….Codes, by definition, must carry information. They must do more than simply form a pattern — codes must transmit data and convey meaning.” The kicker:

Codes do not occur naturally in the world. Musical notation does not sprout from trees, and symbols do not draw themselves in the sand. Codes are the deliberate inventions of intelligent consciousness.

So codes always have an intention or awareness behind them?

Exactly. Codes don’t appear organically; they must be created.

What about DNA? Bingo! The genetic code. That’s the paradox.

You think DNA was created by an intelligence?

When I witness the precision of mathematics, the reliability of physics, the symmetries of the cosmos, I don’t feel like I’m observing cold science; I feel as if I’m seeing a living footprint…the shadow of some greater force that is just beyond our grasp.

The heart of the problem is that physical laws are simple and general, and by their nature they produce the same thing over and over again. Law-governed processes can produce simple repetitive patterns, as in crystals, but they can’t produce the complex, specified sequences by which the nucleotides of DNA code for proteins any more than they can produce the sequence of letters on a page of a textbook.

Snowflakes are a crystal, and form easily by natural laws. They actually have a very low level of complexity. Like all crystals, they can be described easily by the laws that govern chemical bonding and atomic packing. For that reason, among others, nobody claims that snowflakes or crystals require explanation by design. Because they are characterized by low CSI, or “Complex and Specified Information,” we wouldn’t expect them to trigger a design inference.

There you have it life is a product of intelligence.
cc: blueAgent

Contact history and see the Spanish exploits in Latin America, major world wars, the African continent's conquests and atrocities, the british's activities in India and Asia or the apartheid of South Africa or the Holocaust by the Nazis, Gaddaffi's ousting and destruction of Libya by NATO and USA, the MiddleEast and the terrorism conspiracy with the US governments... etc. The crusades of the 12th century are there too to the unholy government of the Vatican in the Elizabethan age. Africa is a young continent, no doubt we have horrible people but you can't just name us all barbarians and squash a whole continent cos of some people's atrocities.
