If james was referring to the ten commandments like u are implying,he would have made mention of the ten commandments not the whole law or the law...
The ten commandments is not and cannot be the same as the whole law....Rather its part of the whole law
the verse 11 only buttresses the fact that the ten commandments were included in the entire laws of moses as a whole...
You have no argument here. weather he used the word whole or all he was referring only to the ten commandments. the whole there means the entire ten.

What sabbath was being referred to here ?

Hebrews 4:8
8 For if Joshua had given them rest, he would not have said anything about another day.

They had the sabbath of days and week and years . But there's a true sabbath . Which is a spiritual place in christ . By salvation we are legally in his sabbath . But it's only by faith we enter it practically . It's a place of trust to rest on his word.

Hebrews 4:9-11
9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. 10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief

Another lie and false teaching. Bro, Jesus didn't rise on Sunday. This is because your Good Friday crucifixion and early Sunday morning resurrection fails Jesus given SIGN woefully!

When asked by the Pharisees to show them a sign, Jesus replied and said: “An evil and adulterous generation seeks for a sign; but no sign shall be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah. For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the whale, so will the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth” (Matthew 12:39). “Three days and three nights” is equivalent to 72 hours, i.e, 12 hours in a day (John 11:9) and 12 hours in a night, making it altogether 24 hours in what is commonly called “a day”.

In fact, Genesis 1:4-13 plainly says that God “divided the light from darkness. And God called the light Day and the darkness He called Night. And the evening [darkness] and the morning [light] were the first day…And the evening [darkness] and the morning [light] were the second day…And the evening [now THREE periods of darkness called night—three nights] and the morning [now THREE periods of light called day—three days] were the third day.”

This is the Bible’s definition of the length of time accounted for within the phrase “the third day.” It spanned three periods of darkness and three periods of light. It has been proven that each of these periods is twelve hours. Six times twelve hours equals 72 hours! What could be more plain?

So then, a late Friday afternoon entombment means a late Monday afternoon resurrection. It is as simple as counting one, two, three!

What! Did Jesus failed His own SIGN? No, let God be true and every man a liar (Romans 3:4). So you see, your claims that Jesus resurrected on Sunday is nothing but fictitious tales invented by those marked for destruction, to lead people into worshiping “another Jesus” (2 Corinthians 11:4), since the one and only true Jesus Christ of the Bible never resurrected on Sunday nor was He crucified on Friday. Bro, your theory falls like a pack of cards!
Let them starting worshipping on monday.

Based on these words, we must quietly pass over that embarrassing Sunday afternoon meeting in the closed room. It was not an occasion of unrestrained joy over the resurrection, as some have portrayed it. In fact, there was not even any recognition on the part of the disciples that a miracle had taken place. They were fearful, depressed, and unbelieving. When Jesus appeared to them He spoke words of strong rebuke because of their lack of faith and because they had rejected the testimony of their own companions. How misleading it is to make this a happy memorial service honoring the resurrection!

Firstly Jesus made it clear we weren't bound by sabbath law . He's the lord of sabbath . Secondly the agenda that Constantine initiated Sunday worship after the Sun god is a fallacy. Thirdly it's a choice If you want to choose Tuesday or Wednesday to have service . There's no more any special day. Sabbath was a shadow of christ . He is our rest .

Colossians 2:16 (KJV Strong's)

If you read the beginning of that verse you will find out that James made reference to two of the ten commandment laws. there is no other place in the Bible that Killing ,Adultery is explicitly forbidden and called a Law than in the ten commandments

Oh really!? Wow... I'm not in the know that the early Church worshiped on the "Lord's Day". Well, lets find out.

Before examination, let’s read the first three verses of this chapter to put verse 2 in context: “Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do you. Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God has prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come. And when I come, whomsoever you shall approve by your letters, them will I send to bring your liberality unto Jerusalem.”

This passage supposedly gives authority for passing the “collection plate” every Sunday. Does it represent a general command to all Christians, for all time, to give freewill offerings at “Sunday services”? No! However, the passage does speak of an offering, a collection to be taken up for a specific purpose. The offering described here is unique in five ways. As you read these points, see if there is even a remote indication or hint that God in any way commands or authorizes Sunday-keeping through it.

First, it is a specific offering described in Romans 15:25-28: “But now I go unto Jerusalem to minister unto the saints. For it has pleased them of Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution for the poor saints which are at Jerusalem. It has pleased them verily; and their debtors they are. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister unto them in carnal [physical] things. When therefore I have performed this, and have sealed to them this fruit, I will come by you into Spain.”

This passage shows the collection was “for the poor saints…at Jerusalem.” It was not a collection plate passed on Sunday. The Jerusalem saints were to receive food because they were suffering from drought and famine. The Greek word translated “fruit” can also refer to grain, produce or wine, which can be stored for long periods.

There is no reference to money here. There is also nothing about giving a collection to the minister or a church hierarchy.

Second, it was done at one specific time—when Paul passed through (“I will come by you into Spain”).

Third, it was given at one specific place (“let everyone of you lay by him in store”). This is because Paul would come later (vs. 3 – “when I come”) to gather what brethren had been saving at home (“lay by him in store”). This was not an offering kept at the church, or given every—or any—Sunday.

Fourth, this command is specific to the Corinthians (vs. 1). There is no command for Sunday collections here, but merely instruction to local brethren to store an important offering for poor brethren!

Fifth, this letter was received in Corinth during the Days of Unleavened Bread. “First day of the week” should properly be translated “first of the weeks (plural).” The collection was almost certainly to happen immediately after the Days of Unleavened Bread, in the first week counting toward Pentecost.

Verse 4—“and if it be meet that I go also, they shall go with me”—coupled with verse 3 referencing “them,” shows that it took several people to transport this large offering to Jerusalem. This would not be necessary if it was simply cash and coins taken up in an offering plate. It would be necessary if much food and drink was involved.

So bro, there's no such proofs here that the early Church worshiped on Sundays. Now, lets look at your next point...
Excellent response.

The early church worship on sundays which they called "The lords day" or first day of the week.

1 Corinthians 16:2
2 On the first day of each week, you should each put aside a portion of the money you have earned . . .

John received the book of revelation why worshiping on Sunday

Revelation 1:10
10 It was the Lord’s Day, and I was worshiping in the Spirit. Suddenly, I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet blast.

Jesus appeared to the disciples many times when they were gathered on Sunday's .

John 20:19
19 Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.

He appeared the following week during Sunday meeting

John 20:26
26 And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.

Paul also talked about the needlessness of the sabbath worship

Colossians 2:16
16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
If Jesus wanted us Christains to worship him on his day of resurrection he could have told his disciples before his death. becos A Man will goes into effect ones he is dead and nothing can be added or removed from it.

"Brethren, I speak after the manner of men;
Though it be but a man's covenant, yet if it be
confirmed, no man disannulleth, or addeth
thereto." Galatians 3:15

Paul is saying here that after a man's death, his will or covenant cannot be changed. Not one new addition can be made after the death of the testator. The covenant stands forever exactly as it stood when the testator died. After the death of Christ, no change whatsoever could be made in His provisions to save mankind.

If Christ had desired His
resurrection to be memori- alized by
Sundaykeeping, He could have introduced it on that same Thursday night of the Last Supper. Then it would have become a part of the New Covenant,
along with the Communion service and foot-
washing. Jesus did not hesitate to command the observance of His death, even though it had not taken place yet. Just as easily He could have commanded the observance of His resurrection,
which was still future, in order that it might
become a New Covenant requirement. But He did not! And no one else ever did either,

Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.

when we read the Bible record of the event, we
discover that the circumstances were quite
different. Luke tells us that, even though the
disciples were confronted with the eyewitness
story of Mary Magdalene, they “believed not.”
“After that he appeared in another form unto two
of them, as they walked, and went into the
country. And they went and told it unto the
residue: neither believed they them. Afterward he
appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and
upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness
of heart, because they believed not them which
had seen him after he was risen” (Mark 16:12-14)
.
Obviously, none of those upper room disciples
believed that He was raised, so they could not
have been joyously celebrating the resurrection.
John explains their reason for being together in these words: “The doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the
Jews” ( John 20:19).

Paul was talking about the ceremonial sabbaths and not the weekly ones.

The Lords day was never the firstday of the week it was Man that changed it. have you asked yourself all your referrences to the Lord's day have no sunday mentioned as the specific day.

Rather the sabbath was mentioned as the day.
It is also interesting to note that Jesus was the
One who made the Sabbath in the first week of
time. There was a reason for His claim to be Lord of the Sabbath day ( Mark 2:28). If He is the Lord of the Sabbath day, then the Sabbath must be the Lord’s day. John had a vision on “the Lord’s day,” according to Revelation 1:10. That day had to be the Sabbath. It is the only day so designated and claimed by God in the Bible. In writing the Ten Commandments, God called it “the sabbath of the Lord” ( Exodus 20:10). In Isaiah He is quoted as saying, “The sabbath, my holy day” (Isaiah 58:13)

energywatchng:
The federal government has approved the sum of N701billion as Power Assurance Guarantee for the Nigeria Bulk Electricity Trading (NBET).

Briefing State House correspondents after the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting chaired by the Acting President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo, the Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, said the facility would be made available by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

This, according to him, is to guarantee payment for the evacuation of electricity produced by Generation Companies (GenCos) to the national grid.

* As Generation Hits 4, 614.60 MW check more generation statistics

The minister said the amount would be drawn on a monthly basis to tackle the liquidity challenges faced by Gencos, noting that part of the liquidity problem faced by GenCos was the inability to pay their gas suppliers.
He pointed out that NBET would pay Gencos in arrears of electricity generated as a deliberate step to improve their confidence and that of intending investors in the sector.

He said: “The second memorandum is in another area of critical importance which is power. Part of the challenges that were addressed in the memo that was presented to council to solve some of the liquidity problems, especially as it relates to NBET.

“NBET, as you know, is the government’s own company. That is the bulk electricity trader who buys power from the Gencos. The liquidity problems that have characterised the market have affected NBET’s ability to deliver on its PPP obligations through the Gencos. So, going forward in order to strengthen NBET, CBN is proving a payment assurance guarantee for any energy produced by any Gencos, so that the Gencos can pay their gas suppliers when they get paid. So that the hydros can continue to operate.

“What we seek to achieve here is to bring some stability to the production side of the power value chain and also give confidence to investors who want to come in; who are concerned about how to recover their money. Payment assurance and also people who are planning to invest in the gas sector which is being championed by the ministry of petroleum also are saying the same thing in terms of payment for gas produced.”

He said the approval given by FEC was to provide this guarantee for NBET which he said, was a one hundred per cent government-owned company to pay on a monthly basis its obligations for energy actually produced on to the grid to the Gencos that were its customers.

Explaining further, he said: “The reality is that we want more power and for that reason we are expanding our transmission capacity regularly. I have been here to announce to you transmission projects that have been approved by council and over the last one year plus the transmission capacity has grown to almost seven thousand from fie thousand and is continuing to grow with every project.

“So, it is not the problem of taking power, it is actually a problem of getting power from generation. If you recall, just about a few weeks ago, you were reporting that power supply had dropped to a little over 2000mw. It is back now at over 4,000mw. We have solved the transmission problem in Ikot Ekpene largely to evacuate over a thousand. But the gas suppliers were being owed so they were not supplying gas for the power producers.
Fashola said the quantum of the guarantee was for two years from January this year right through to December 2018.

“It is capped at a maximum of N701billion but it is to be drawn monthly. It is possible it may not reach that. But we are projected on the total cost that NBET will likely to pay,” he added.

He explained: “So, if the power generated does not meet that cost we don’t pay for it. It is paid in arrears at the end of the month not in advance. So, it is for actually what gets unto the grid. And this is part of the reforms that we have briefed you about that we were planning to undertake.”

During the briefing on Wednesday, the Minister of Agriculture, Audu Ogbeh, said FEC had approved the sum of N263 million for three research institutions to produce Arabic gum seedlings for Nigerian farmers and for export.
He said Nigeria earned as much as $43 million from export of gum Arabic last year, and that more would be earned with increased production, especially now that the commodity was in high demand in 17 other countries.
Ogbeh disclosed that similar efforts were on to boost cassava production, even as he described as “interesting” the recent discovery of well-packaged ‘garri’ imported from India.

Christ is sabbath

Matthew 11:28
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Hebrews 4:10
For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.

IT's a place in Christ by revelation
And how does this prove that the Sabbath is no longer valid?

This was what U told some one on this thread...

Hence i listed SOME of the 613 laws and asked if U observe them....Unfortunately,U didn't answer my question smiley
In other words,You dont observe them....which means You are not different from those james was talking about in James 2:11

And please dont try SEPARATING the ten commandments from the other laws.....I think that has already been dealt with on this thread....
I guess God's law is now an IRRELEVANT LIST according to you grin grin
Sorry, if you read the verse i quoted James was referring to the Ten commandments.

Anyone can wrap their mind around the idea of an eternal, independent and immaterial mind- the issue is that it is a concept that has no validity or evidence in the real world.

Please, reason before you talk
And which evidence does the alternative concept has?
