Yea, some Nigerians I know complained about it buy I feel that happened when he was just new to the club... Its to be expected sha but I'm glad he's proving himself |

Kaeboy: SARS are not misbehaving because they have gun but because they lack professionalism and there superiors and authority is not willing to checkmate there excesses. NDLEA has gun but you hardly hear of there misconduct.
I only suggested they should be armed if they are going to leave security of the highway 24/7 to them as I suggested. If they're just doing what they're doing now, they don't need gun for anything. Okay, no problem But the reason we may not hear of their misconduct is because the ones patrolling the highway are not armed. Let us do a 1 month test run. Then come back and quote me |

Kaeboy: I'm of the opinion that the security architecture need to be rejig.
Immigration and customs should form a formidable garrison across borders.
NSCDC should focus mainly on security of schools, and other government infrastructures like hospitals, higher institutions, primary school, government offices, motor parks, railway stations and they should be armed of course, not just wear oversized uniform with fat legs.
FRSC should be trained and armed to form security on all highways 24/7, while all police check points should be removed.
Police should focus on community policing and be stationed in all communities effectively with support from Vigilante groups, communities are lacking security and that's why bandits are doing anyhow. That's traffic control unit of police has no business under police force, they should be under FRSC, while officers under traffic control unit of police should be redrafted to other units where they're needed.
VIO can combine the present duty of FRSC.
So military should not be having divided attention at this time. FRSC should be armed Baba are you listening to yourself? Do you want another round of SARS-like extra judicial killings? |

Nigerian soldiers were attacked and killed in onitsha. Even in onitsha, against UGM, the Nigerian army personnel left their vehicle and made a tactical withdrawal for their dare lives
Just imagine if those guys were not armed, the Nigerian army will surely show their gallantry against unarmed people. And you say you're not jumping for Joy Schizophrenic patient. Android17: Don't mind them. Less FG%, less 3P%, less FT% and has played 121 more games than Curry and has 3882 more points than Curry. For context, Curry's is 24 ppg career wise. At 24*121, Curry would have reduced the deficit to 978 points. If we decide to factor that Curry missed close to 55% of those 121 games during his prime (last season for e.g) then we can safely do 28*121 which will reduce that deficit to 494 points. James Harden technically has scored only 494 more points than Curry who played with KD and Klay Thompson who are offensive juggernauts (meaning he shared offensive load). This is the Harden they want you to believe is by far better than Curry offensively? lol Don't mind them jare.... At this point, I feel its just unnecessary hate... Chris Paul and hatdwn are better?? steady986: Leave Gary Payton alone and address the other names that are there. Gary Payton that was nothing more than a 37-year old washed up utility player when he went to the Heat. Before Durant, did or didn't curry win a championship? Where was Chris Paul and his lob city? They had 3 good players in their prime on that team same with GSW. So what happened? What is dislike is when people discredit a player's greatness just because they don't like him. You and many others on this thread are quick to discredit everything curry does. You even said curry is never as good an offensive player as harden. Haba? I may not truly like Lebron but I will never discredit his accomplishments because of that. Dude is an all time great and the greatest small forward of all time (to me). But when I mention curry, your BP starts to rise unnecessarily. Why, because he beat Lebron in the finals 3 times. Odunayaw: Kit, yes (Except NN). Training; how do we ascertain that? They've not been found wanting in battle neither in international exercise.
All SFs are not SAS or Green Berets with worldwide mandate. With much more investment in kits and even brains (for SF Control and Command) they can only go up from where they are.
AND, it takes at least 6 months to train any SF in any of the 3 services. NN has the longest Well, I may want to agree with you on the first bolded comment, the second volded comment is what we are clamoring for. What is worth doing is worth doing well. I am not in any way comparing our SF to the SAS or DEVGRU unit but at least, let them be well funded to tackle our immediate National Security concerns. And please what is the deal with taking out soldeirs to Bulgaria, Serbia etc for SF training? Do they have terrorism concerns like ours over there? You see my point now |

Odunayaw: This is misinformation. Just show one proof that their training is 3-4 months. Or are you talking about only the COIN part of their training.
The NN SF is poorly funded too? I delibrately omitted the NN SF because I can't say much about them. I really don't know about their contributions to the ongoing war and I think someone said that their superiors are delibrately reluctant to deploy them as their training and kits are really expensive (he called them chinese version of the "Navy Seals" . But truth be told, our SF are below par - training and kit wise |

Geronimoe: You mean to tell me what we call SF take the war to the enemy in small numbers? And doing that makes them SF? Lol. Give me an idea of your "small numbers please",I might understand you better. Oga we don't have any comms problems cos I've seen many on vids/pix go out on operations with comms. The Mainok issue that people were talking about lack of comms, how were they able to request for additional forces? How did they request for NAF CAS, and how did they know the requested additional forces were on the way coming, how did they know there was blue on blue and they had to withdraw. Did they use smoke/drum signal or sent the fastest one's amongst them? We don;t have SF and I have said it times without number on other threads. Those guys masquerading as SF after 3 - 4 months "rush rush" training are not SF. SF soldiers take at least 6 - 9 months to train (at least because in some countries, it takes 2 years). Besides, our SF are poorly funded (only the NAF tries in this regard) but the NA SF is an eyesore. |

Sizzorkay: Nothing surprising about it. we gotta ask ourselves why some Nigerians should care about cops being killed or govt buildings getting burnt to the ground. When those govts barely function, provides zero basic services for the people, then what incentive does the people have to protect officials they see as corrupt embezzlers who could care less about the people. your average Nigerian doesn't respect the police, why should they, all they see are criminals in uniform who chase cars to demand for bribes. If the govt is responsive to the needs of the people and actually provide basic services, the people will protect them and support them, but mostly in rural areas, that's not the case. So why are we surprised seeing residents welcoming terrorists etc. I was just about to type these but you have already made my point If citizens are beginning to cheer the killing of cops, then the NPF should look themselves in the mirror because their antecedents point to the fact that they share a majority of the blame |

How can you have such a defense budget and such arsenal but yet keep having your ass whooped up by guys with sandals and AK47. NA has become a mall center for those guys.look at MRAPs just delivered this month is already in BH or ISWAPs hand. Those same equipments would be turned and used against neighboring nations. It's really a pity when I see what the NA has become. Greed and corruption with bad recruitment. This is the result bro. |

SamuelAnyawu: 1) NCOs have lost interest in this war. They believe it is being run by their Oga’s and Federal Government as financial conduit pipes.
2) I can see several Soldiers having small kg of gas for their personal cooking. Is the Military Budget also for feeding of staff or not.
3) We have poor communication equipment. In 2018 ISWAP used this same Mainok pattern to run over several bases in the Northeast.
4) what is the salary of a General in the Army to own Buildings worth over a Billion Naira as personal asset.
In most soldiers words “ Baba na to do my own leave here oh, this war no Dey end”
During attacks Most NCOs flee from the trench at the first gunshot from BH. I remember when I visited an NCO friend at a military hospital in Maiduguri. He said they were engaging Bokoharam with their Guntruck before he could say Jack Robinson his Gunner jumped and ran away before he could position to take over the AA he was hit by a bullet.
The Military Generals, Defence ministry etc are enjoying the Financial benefit from this war.
It’s just a pity NCOs and mid range Officers are paying the supreme price.
What’s the price of a small little Chinese drone that military can procure to ensure every-outpost tango in the community has one? Even photographers are now using two Chinese drones.
I have not seen Cameroonians here using Toyota guntrucks. Most of their personnel use APCs as standard.
Like a Major friend here will always tell me “Baba if e set make e no be you go be casualty’’ Gbam.. You've said it all. This war doesn't seem like its ending. We may blame the soldiers for abandoning their posts easily during a firefight but their reasons are logical. When they are killed due to "Oga's" greed, it will all be for naught |
