In Nigeria , we excel in throwing away the baby along with the bath water .

That was how I read about an estate in Enugu where they suspected some kidnappers hid some of their victims in one of the houses there. The next thing the government did is to demolish several buildings in the estate that had absolutely nothing to do with the kidnapper's hideout . It was one skit maker that whose house was about to be demolished in the same estate that made a video before the thing gained public attention and the state govt was now doing shalaye .

Like u rightly said , it makes absolute no sense to start shutting down those herbal liquor manufacturers because some of them were actually registered by same NAFDAC initially and this is not a good time for wielding of such big stick.

I will not lie, it just appears as if there's one evil hand pushing this government to keep taking anti-people decisions until the people snap at the breaking point . Because I no just understand.

My whole point of 'underrating' is that most fans feel he's not good enough to be starting for us. Like if they were to rate him, it'll be like that 5-5.5/10 kinda player/performances whereby on an average he produces a 7/10 kinda performances. That's the kind of 'underrating' I'm talking about if you get what I mean.

In other words , u are assuming fans are underrating him

Aside this early season in which he was underwhelming (ie that's due to him reportedly playing through injury) he's been giving consistent performances.

Last season when he started playing as a RB, he's been giving good consistent performances at least a 7/10 rating. He's not giving an elite rating like them Saliba, Rice and co(the 8-9/10 ratings) but he's been good. Since after the winter vacation, he's been back to his good form also.

Big reason I said he underrated. He's just executing his job well albeit silently.

Na that " Aside " gan gan be the reason why he's not being rated like other players by fans .

That's why I said he's not underrated , rather he's rated based on his performance over time which u urself has confirmed has not really been above 7/10 . Even that last season he still managed to have bad games more than some of his contemporaries .

While u are right that all countries have people who troll and bully players , I think we Nigerians do too much .Even so called celebrities who should know better join in the bullying and it makes no sense honestly .

Imagine a celebrity/influencer like Yhemolee who has over a million followers also joined in the bullying by posting that video complaining about Iwobi's "fine boy videos " on his page. Some blogs with sizeable number of followers did likewise . These posts of theirs only exposed Iwobi to more bulkying and it's unfair; some of them posted the video with emojis influencing more Nigerians to bully the guy.

I think among our selves we Nigerians need to tell ourselves the truth that some of these toxicity are unnecessary .

You will find long queues at petrol stations that sell 568 to 601 (Total, NNPC, Mobil)

The ones selling 635-640 are empty.

I bought fuel along egbeda road and the attendants just sit down dey sleep. No customer.

It's only a matter of time; especially if the politicians keep living their luxurious lifestyles while the masses look on in amazement at their non challant attitude .

Just yesterday I was reading that memo of Tinubu approving 1billion ( 500m in the first tranche ) for inauguration of national minimum wage committee. Bayo Onanuga was more concerned about investigating those who leaked the memo than addressing whether it makes any economic sense to approve such amount for a routine government duty .

The comments I saw in the IG posts shows people are pissed that the people in government don't even send the masses. It's only a matter of time before the people move in mass against the government violently . How can people be seriously hungry and u are approving 1billion for a kangaroo committee ?

It's only in Nigeria they will say we are broke and u will see government officials living ostentatious lifestyle . That was why I was 100% against the fuel subsidy removal from the onset; it's only masses that should make sacrifices while the political class continue business as usual.

Today now almost everybody is groaning under the weight of the hardship. I'm afraid the worse is yet to come this one IMF is already advising Tinubu to still go ahead to remove subsidy from electricity and price of PMS totally .
