I am no Afrobeats expert but his tunes are not catchy enough for the casual observer. I watched a Ghanian show where the presenter was lamenting about how Kizz Daniel just repeated Odoyewu 20 times and had a monster hit. I just laughed at the guy's painment.
That is the type i am talking about. Omah Lay is trying to make too much sense when most casual listeners just want to vibe.

I can't even imagine that I want to listen to Afrobeat; I will leave dem Burnaboy and now be listening to Omah lay
