I agree with Oyindamola that Arteta can be biased, I just hope he finds a way to balance that position cause Ramsdale needs that support from the manager too.

Every single person on earth has someone above them in whatever station they are and as such are subservient (asslick or massage of ego) to them one way or another and in varying degrees. After all, are we not seeing a whole governor of a state Kogi, kneeling and lying down before his predecessor? That's an extreme form of subservience but others express that in different ways. So that sentence isn't wrong.

We're all subservient to people above us, it just matters how we express that.
