princfred: Since your education is a waste as you don't value don't send your children to school lest it becomes a waste as well. Let them be like Sakida instead since thats the rule. That is not the point of this argument. The point is that possessing a WAEC certificate is not equivalent to being competent to run a country. |

princfred: Go there and read about the ones who do have formal certs especially in the latest century not only in America then me the exceptional case. Also how many of your politicians trained themselves to be lawyer like Abraham Lincoln ? Is English not the language of Shaw? Because he fid it can an aboki do that too without formal education ? You do not understand the peculiarities of your own situation you want to copy . Salkida, the journalist whom Boko Haram trust a lot has only primary school cert. I am sure he writes better English than you. He is not an English man like Shaw. Look for another excuse, my friend. |

princfred: Are you too slow to know the essence of certificate to education? What is lost on you is the knowledge that their are otherbsituation where life experience alone is not enough. Ofcourse Buhari can with his life experience run a kiosk successfully but does that translate into him being capable to run a country?
How many illiterates in comparism can?
How can you be soo mentally convoluted to be hyping exceptions against the rule. For every person you mention who did this or that without education i can mention a thousand who did with the help of their education. Why did you spend your energy, time and money to get formal education knowing its useless? And also willing to do same for your children. So you think running a country is not as herculean and menally tasking/daunting as doing surgery? So you cant allow anyone without the right level of education and ptoven competence come near you bit its ok for such to be a president? Then what happened to the other questions i asked? Bro, you are so confused. You keep on using words like "illiterates", "education" and "certificate" without understanding their meanings. So because I mentioned a few people, you think they are mere exceptions to the rule. Go to Google and read about American presidents (aside Abraham Lincoln) who had no formal education. Browse about politicians and businessmen who had no formal education but were highly successful. One of them is Mary Kay. What formal education did Bernard Shaw have and yet he won a Nobel Prize in Literature for his wonderful plays and he is regarded highly in political science and sociology. Tell me, how can there be so many exceptions to a rule? Now to the highlighted part of your post, can you prove that Buhari does not have the right level of education to govern a country? The man has served in many capacities, as military governor, minister and head of state. He has taken courses within and outside the country. So, tell me what level of education do you need again? Or perhaps, like many uninformed Nigerians, you are so fixated with certificates that you don't consider job experience as education. |

princfred: Without one you cant be. So those studing management courses are doing it for fun abi? ....Because education is a prerequisite for high level management of men and resources. And if they struggle at it, what then will become of some dullard?
...... because it takes education to be one and without it one can't be. Guy your education nay schooling (cause you went to school but you are not educated so still an illiterate) was a waste.
Why are you getting it upside down? You are surely a dunce if you can't tell the difference between certificate and education. The argument here is certificate, not education. Anyone can buy a certificate. There are MBA graduates who cannot run a small shop and yet illiterate Hausas are running their shops well and efficiently. Now, let me educate you further. Tell me, what formal education did Abraham Lincoln have? Yet he trained himself to be a lawyer and he is still regarded as America's greatest president. What formal education did Leon Trotsky have? Yet he was a prolific writer and unforgettable revolutionary. How many English graduates with WAEC certificates and a English degree can even compose a brief application letter? Regarding your surgeon analogy, it is laughable. There are courses where life experiences are much needed than mere certificate. You can be a great businessman without getting a degree in business management. Go to Alaba or Aba and you will see fine businessmen who have never been to primary school. Many of them are able to control their businesses using life experiences and not certificates. Possessing an MBA is not even enough to turn you into a great businessman. It is the same in politics. That you have a degree in political science does not mean you will make a great politician. However, to be a surgeon, life experience is not enough. You need formal education and a certification. |

princfred: Yeah in your convolated mind since one surgeon couldnt carry out the opetation a quack should be called upon. Read that my post 10 times aloud and know that if you a so called educated dont even know what differentiates you from an illiterate then you schooling is a waste. Oh, so with a WAEC certificate, you can be a surgeon? So, any educated person can be a surgeon? We are talking about competence, you are talking about a profession that takes years of studies to qualify for. Some of the analogies you people use are so laughable. It makes you sound like an illiterate. |

princfred: You an educated man comfortable to be led by a man with questionable WAEC. That means you dont even know what value your education has bestowed on you wish the man without WAEC inevitably lacks. Shame! So, having a WAEC certificate is proof of competence? This is how messed up you people's mentality is. That is why people go as far as buying certificates that they can't defend. With his supposed doctorate, did Goodluck Jonathan turn Nigeria into paradise With all her experience, how did Okonjo Iweala fare |

Not every nonsense online deserves response.
Surprisingly, you have ignored the rebuttal from Peter Konyegwachie who has more link to the Nigeria amateur boxing federation So, what if Konyegwachie is trying to save face just as the military do when they deny knowing an officer that was killed by Boko Haram? I do not believe that Jubril is in Aso Rock because I can compare evidences. I have seen the propaganda pictures and I have gone through them thoroughly. I have also checked all the backup stories and cross-checked dates. In the case of AJ, there are no overwhelming evidences, just claims and counter claims from a few individuals. Since the main actor has not come out to say anything concerning the matter, I wouldn't just rubbish the claims. |

gbosaa: Not every story you read online is credible. That statement was credited to Jeremiah Okorodudu and not from Joshua or any other credible source and again let me remind you that Anthony Joshua is British, started his boxing career in Britain and he isn’t American.
Pls don’t be one of those vermins who spread falsehood on the internet. Even the Jerry Okorodudu’s interview might have been spread by Kemi Olunloyo or Linda Ikeji. I’m sure you’ll also give those two as the sources of your information. Joshua never met anyone or even made any attempt to represent Nigeria. Joshua has said nothing so far about the supposed incident so how can you be sure it didn't happen as claimed by Okorodudu? For now, it is safe to believe Okorodudu since Joshua has neither corroborated or denied the claim. |

NwaAmaikpe:

This ekuke will never get the accolades given to Jack who stood and defended his master's compound to the end even when Nnamdi KANU had already run away.
An Ekuke will always be an ekuke. How is it protecting that man when it allowed people get that close to him? The ekuke further disgraced him by turning him into a footstool.
Will those folks have gone that close if it were a Doberman or a Pitbull? Would they have had the effrontery to stand and film this?
In my opinion, the only protection that man is getting is from the policeman in the picture. That is a small dog yet it stood and barked when the policeman got too close. It did the little it could do. At least, it didn't run away. It didn't leave its owner's side. That is bravery and loyalty, no matter how you look at it. How many humans can display that even for their parents? |

surgical: you cannot use dangote as an example, dangote is a heartless capitalist,he goes for maximum or excess profit You people are easily deceived. Atiku is nothing but a businessman. Until now, the minimum wage on his payroll was piss poor. He is just like the other Nigerian businessmen who show off outside but pay their employees poorly. Look at Adenuga who is well-respected by CAF. He was doling out cash to the Super Eagles in 2013 and people thought he was generous, not until his staff began speaking out concerning poor salaries, lack of promotions and the inhumane treatment they are subjected to by Adenuga's children who hold top posts in Glo. Even if there are wealthy Nigerian businessmen who are also kind (I doubt there are), Atiku can never be one of them. Atiku is not just a businessman, he is also a politician. I can never trust someone like that. |

Now the beast has been fed to the extent that he can now crush anyone on his way, even the government.
Lemme shock u, do u know that the government is secretly helping in building his refinery? I won't be shocked, though. Another name they call him is Alhaji Putin. Obviously, he owns Nigeria. God help us. |

kingkakaone: True word!
Dangote monopolized cement production in Nigeria, frustrated sugar importers, went into the food industry and started competing with those on ground. Though I like his guts, his success is largely aided by all presidents since 1999.
Imagine a single man having a refinery plus all his other businesses, Nigeria is in a long thing already.
Government should encourage modular refineries to help others if not, Dangote will one day hold the country to ransom. I heard that Nigeria is called Federal Republic of Dangote. I heard that when Buhari wanted to bring other investors into the mining sector by declaring a tax holiday, Dangote decided to benefit as well. And he enjoys a lot of waivers. I even heard that former President Yar'Adua almost knelt for Dangote to reduce the price of his cement but that Dangote was adamant. My question is, how did this Dangote become so powerful? I heard that during the fracas with Yar'Adua, Dangote promised to bring Nigeria down if anyone challenged him concerning the price of his cement. |
