Iamgrey5:But I thought the X factor helps them win the shows in the first place? I think there is more to it than that. Perhaps, it is one of the reasons. |
sureinfo:Thank you, bro. I appreciate. |
I have noticed that musicians who come through talent hunt shows are hardly successful. I have tried to research the topic and I have realized that it is not a Nigerian thing. It happens everywhere. Someone impresses and wins a talent hunt show and then fizzles out soon on the real stage. |
investigator007:Thank you very much. I appreciate. |
Sicilyjoe:You are right about the spec. |
happybee:Thank you very much. I appreciate. |
drjprince:Thanks, bro. I really appreciate. |
Local man can't can. |
Wish I had chosen football. I was a great winger back in school. My stepovers and my dashing runs with my crosses were spots on back then. I ought to be super wealthy by now for doing what I enjoyed doing. |
drjprince:That Redmi 7 looks good. Perhaps, I should reconsider. But hope the phone is good? |
As for the Algeria vs Côte d'Voire match, the Ivorians had themselves to blame. They should have buried the Algerians as early as within the first 20 minutes but they kept throwing away clear-cut chances like amateur footballers. Nigeria must never make this mistake. If only we had at least one clinical finisher. Irrespective of that, we must take our chances and score early. |
rentAcock:Both teams would score. We don't have good goalkeepers and our defense is worrisome. There is no how a high scoring team like Algeria will fire blank against us. They will get at least a goal. |
Sicilyjoe:I really want the Nokia but the reviews are not so good as compared to that of the Tecno. However, the reviews are few. That is why I want the experiences of people who have or are using the Tecno and the Nokia phones. |
drjprince:OK. Thank you. But have you ever used this particular Tecno before? Mind you, this is not going to be my first Tecno phone. I don't think Tecno is anywhere as bad as many other brands of phones. People said the Nokia 2.2 is too thick. So, I am dropping it off my list. If not, I would really go for Nokia 2.2 because I have never used a Nokia phone before. |
I intend getting a second phone. So, I found the Tecno Pouvoir 3 Air (LC6). It is just 27,880 naira but has impressive specifications. I want to get this phone but considering my experience early this year when I purchased a phone and it packed up in 2 months, I decided to research on this Techno Pouvoir before placing an order. Please, anyone who knows about this phone should help me share their experiences. Is the battery as good as stated in the specifications? The other phone I have in my agenda is the Nokia 2.2 which goes for 32,000 naira. God bless you as you help me decide. Thank you. |
Someone is trying to sell a phone but is busy abusing people up and down. Smh. |
Swanzi:It was 2006. Taiye Taiwo scored a freekick. We beat Ghana 1-0. |
Kenturkey048:OK. Now, I agree the team is not the worst. I used to think it was. Hopefully, they beat South Africa today. |
Kenturkey048:I understand perfectly well. This team is the weakest Nigerian AFCON squad since I have been watching the AFCON. We don't even have a dependable goalkeeper, or a playmaker or a defensive midfielder in the mould of Sunday Oliseh. I was surprised (but happy) that we could score goals when we got 3 past defending champions, Cameroon. Even Benin has a more dependable goalkeeper and a more compact team. |
Swanzi:And we beat your team in 2008. No big deal. I am sure you people were happy to avoid us this year only to lose to an under fire Tunisian team that our Super Eagles would have snacked on. |
Chipink:Really? Damn, how low have we fallen? Imagine South Africans mocking us. I hope we thrash them to teach them a lesson. If not for refereeing errors, the scoreline in our last match against them would have been 3-1 to Nigeria. The boys have to rise to the occasion and put these Banana Banana in their place once and for all. But can our boys do it? We would have to wait till tonight. |
Benekruku:Asian team? Is South Africa an Asian country now? |
salford1:Actually, it is the weakest. |
airminem:Exactly. Mikel should not be included. |
Swanzi:That is just a saying, not reality. Ghana is no better than South Africa, but being perennial foes, a match with Ghana poses more threat to our ambition than a match with South Africa. If we beat South Africa on Wednesday, it would still amount to beating one of the best teams in Africa. Any team that has reached the last 8 is no walkover. However, each team poses a different threat. A terrible Ghanaian team would pose a great threat to Nigeria any time any day, and vice versa. Even Ghana would have wanted to avoid Nigeria. There is no issue of best or better in this matter. |
tiwiex:This is a competition, not a period to build relationships. We want obstacles out of our way to the AFCON trophy. Now that Ghana is out, we have less foes to deal with. On Wednesday, we hope that Super Eagles take South Africa out. If Benin can take Senegal out, we would again have less foes to deal with towards the final day. At least, this is how I view it. |
Graduateacher: ![]() Hopefully, Benin will cancel out Senegal. And we should do our job of seeing South Africa out of the competition. Our path to glory would be much clearer. |
jesusjnr:I will like to contribute to this matter. Prophesies do not fail in the manner that TB Joshua's prophesy about the US elections failed. As a matter of fact, real prophesies do not actually fail as they are warnings that are open to modification. God is a merciful God and His wish is to bring people out of wrongdoings through warnings called prophesies. Take the case of Nineveh, God's ultimate plan was to show His mercy, to express His goodness. So, Jonah's prophesy did not fail at all as the Nineveh was eventually transformed. However, TB Joshua said he saw a woman as America's new president as at the time that Clinton and Trump went into contest for the top post. Then, Clinton loses. Mr Joshua's defense was that the praying and fasting of some Americans changed the prophesy. How so? When Jonah gave the Nineveh prophesy, was it not the people concerned that prayed their way out of imminent destruction? Like I wrote earlier. No true prophesy fails. In every conditional prophesy, there is a chance for God to express His mercy. And that chance can only be utilized by the people concerned. Why was it certain Americans that had to fast and pray, and not Trump himself? What was the need to replace Clinton with Trump in Mr Joshua's prophesy? In every conditional prophesy cases, God always leaves us a moral lesson on the reward of repentance. God Himself had written that if He had set forth to destroy a place, He can change His mind if the people there turn away from evil. But what moral lesson is to be taken from Clinton losing to Trump? Mr Joshua's prophesy failed. He is evidently a false prophet. His attempt at laundering his image was nothing short of embarassing. His initial reaction to backlashes was that Clinton won the majority vote as if that counts for anything. |
donblazer10:I am unable to paste links. I don't know why. I will try again. I have many links to paste. |
There is a car there with 24 tailpipes. Local man is baffled. He has realized that he can't can. |
donblazer10:Antelopes are critically endangered. And considering how poor our implementation of the game laws are, I am sure we have a handful of antelopes left in Nigeria. In Burundi or so, killing a gorilla without license comes with life imprisonment. But in Nigeria, a gorilla was killed recently and the killers posed with it. |
BigIyanga:Don't worry, the oil won't flow forever, would it? Then, we would see what you have to offer. Before oil, I wonder what your region had to offer the country. After oil, we would see what you have got. |
