Egypt's record against South Africa is poor. South Africa's record against Nigeria is poor. We will beat South Africa. |
Juliusmalema:Foolish governor. Are those cows not part of our agriculture? Or he thinks agriculture is only about crops? |
Vague as usual. Vagueness is not one of the elements of prophesies. Prophesies are messages of warning and are expected to be clear and precise. Check the Bible and you will see that when prophets of old gave prophesies, they were always precise and clear. An example is the prophesy of Jonah. The prophesy even came with a timeline-- 40 days. |
It is not even a well-written poem. Sounds too prosaic. |
XhosaNostra:OK o . We will see about that. |
DateMynd44:The referee created a penalty from thin air and the Algerians equalised. If not, we would have beaten them in their backyard. |
XhosaNostra:My friend, Xhosa. How are you? ![]() I feel so sad that my countrymen will be sending your countrymen back to you people on Wednesday. I hope we remain friends after that match, though. And if you need a shoulder to cry on on Wednesday, you can summon me with a mention ![]() |
DateMynd44:But we beat 3-1 after they gave Germany headache na ![]() |
silverbirdng:The Bible laid out rules to follow when the saints gather as a church. Just imagine what is discussed when a church gathers. Instead of continuing with the work of God, she was busy asking that her husband be celebrated. In spite of the yeye stepping down which her husband is purported to have done, she still makes it clear that he owns COZA. I laugh at all these Christians who think their church belongs to God, not knowing that it belongs to Daddy GO. In the Early Church, there were elders among which there were pastors/teachers. My question is, in COZA, are there elders who can summon Biodun or who can demand explanations from him? In Winners Chapel, are there elders who can challenge Oyedepo? In Redeem, are there elders who can challenge Adeboye? Christianity has become nothing but a scam. |
nairavsdollars:People will still listen to her until the truth is revealed. That is what Adeboye is saying. |
tyup:Why do you think you are wiser than those who believe that Biodun raped Busola? Do you actually believe that a man becomes perfect once he labels himself a pastor? On what basis do you think that Biodun is innocent. Those who think he is probably guilty can rely on the many testimonies against Biodun, and also the incident with Ese Walter. On what basis are you declaring Biodun innocent? |
He has a silly face. Reminds me of Gregory back in college. He had that dumb face and all the girls used to bully him. There was no one who could not send Gregory on an errand. |
facts1234:You have said it all. Whatever happens, Akpeyi must not man the post. Percy Tau, especially, would smack his lips if he sees Akpeyi on the starting lineup. He knows Akpeyi like the back of his hands. Thankfully, Rantie is not on their team. That guy had become comfortable playing Nigeria. He had already got 3 goals in 2 back-to back matches against us. |
Okocha did not score the winning goal against Cameroon in 2004. It was Utaka who did. Kanu made the assist. |
Heffalump:No, we didn't play Tunisia in the final, rather, it was the Semifinals. The final was between Tunisia and Morocco. Yes, I agree that our organization is currently in a shambles. However, I do not agree that this South African team is better than the one we beat 4-0 in 2004. The South African teams have always impressed on the pitch, but the results have always been largely unimpressive. They may outplay us on Wednesday, but it doesn't mean it would translate into victory for them. |
felaismyhero:And who told you the cartoon is reflecting hypocrisy? That cartoon is obviously reflecting a disregard for the Word of God. The Bible is a book of sacred texts. When you disregard the Word of God, you are urinating on the Bible. That is not even the most sordid detail. As a matter of fact, you are shitting on the Bible. That some misinformed Muslims can't handle bitter truth should not be an excuse for Christians to attack messages blindly. It is for the same reason that Christ was killed. Only a few saw the Truth in Him. The many others felt that it was impossible for a carpenter's son to be the Messiah. For this reason, they disregarded his messages and rather placed emphasis on mundane things like his family background and his appearance. Rather than see the cartoon as an attack on the Bible, why can't you see it as the bitter but sincere portrayal of an attack on the Bible? This cartoon also holds a wider significance as it also portrays how false teachers disregard the Word of God. Peter warned that anyone who preached a gospel other than the one they were taught (by Christ) is a false teacher. Today, an evil gospel has pervaded the Christian world. The gospel of materialism, often referred to as the prosperity theology. Parables that were used by Christ to teach salvation are now blatantly used to teach prosperity instead. All these acts are akin to urinating on the Bible. |
hope4life:Much ado over nothing. The message is clear. If you all want to be like fanatical Muslims who take everything literally, you are welcome to. But as far as the cartoon is concerned, it passes the sad message of how we daily disregard the Word of God (symbolized with the Bible in the cartoon). There is absolutely nothing wrong with the cartoon. The truth is bitter. |
soulpeppersoup:How did the Akah guy bring Biodun down? He merely asked that Biodun stepped down until things are made right again. For Christ's sake, this is not the first time that Biodun is in the news for all the bad reasons. |
KANU, the legendary goalkeeper destroyer. His hobby was going around goalkeepers. He had a way of dribbling so slowly past opponents and leaving them dumbstruck. His killer pass to Utaka in 2004 was the catalyst that put an end to Cameroon hegemony in the Nations Cup since 2000. Many people think of Okocha as Super Eagles master dribbler, but I tell you, Okocha had nothing on Kanu when it comes to dribbling past opponents, especially goalkeepers. |
Arsenalholic:I watched all the matches. There have been many low quality games generally, unlike in 2004. South African team merely improved in quality while many other teams are obviously regressing. Generally, every South African team has always been impressive to watch with poor end results. Did you watch them in 2004? Did you watch them in 2010 World Cup, especially against Mexico and France? That is South Africa for you. Very sleek, a beauty to watch, with largely poor results to show for it. |
Arsenalholic:Bro, fear God na. How can you say this South African team is miles ahead of the 2004 team? |
HabuD:We beat Cameroon and South Africa bundled Egypt out of the tournament. I told you that Egypt were never on fire. They have been virtually unimpressive. |
bluebay:OK. But you people should stop calling it rabbit. Rabbit is a totally different order from rats. |
bluebay:How can you call that a rabbit for Christ's sake? It doesn't even look like a rabbit one bit. That looks more like the African white-tailed rat. |
First of all, the church needs serious restructuring. When a young man establishes his own denomination and is successful, he is more open to temptation than a pastor in the eldership-model of Church which the Early Christians practised. For instance, who made Biodun senior pastor? Your guess is as good as mine. He automatically became senior pastor because he owns his own church. If the Church were truly one body, the likes of Biodun would not even be senior pastors. With all those blings and Gucci, no serious assembly will take him seriously. Paul emphasized modesty but we all see how Biodun effectively deflects attention away from Christ onto himself. Until the Church becomes truly one and appointing elders is based on the criteria laid out in the Bible, every Dick and Harry who is an orator would continue establishing churches all over the place and swaying the youth who confuse motivational speech with the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. |
One thing with relationships that end like this is that there is always one party who insists it must go on even if all the signs are there that the relationship would go nowhere. A guy cannot just end a relationship of 5 years just like that. He must have been telling her off while she clung on like her life depended on it. At the end, when the man thinks he has had enough, the woman starts playing the victim's card of how she suffered with him for 5 years bla bla bla. People (whether male or female) need to clear that mentality that every relationship you get into must lead to marriage. You have to study your relationship very well and read the signs. If you are wearing your partner down and the relationship is draining them and you shut your eyes and don't give a damn, even if you end up marrying them by fire by force, the marriage will be an unhappy one. Even in a marriage of many years, people wake up one day and separate. What more a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship? I repeat, marriage is not a do-or-die affair. You cannot force a guy or girl to marry you even if you have been in years of relationship with them. After 5 years, and she still thinks she wasted her time, then she was in the relationship for all the wrong reasons. |
Photoshoppped!!! |
harizonal123:NOTE: I am not the OP Jumia does not listen to complaints. There are too many defective products being displayed, especially with wrong descriptions to fool unsuspecting customers. When you order defective products or buy a product based on false titles, and you complain to Jumia, they promise to come take it but they never do. So, I think it is in place to shame them here since they don't respect that return policy on their website. I have never had a good experience with Jumia. I have bought a blender, a solar power bank and a phone. Each product did not last a month or two. The phone, especially, came in low against the title and description it was given on the seller's display space. In spite of the fact that I bought it as a second phone to my main phone and used it lightly without any downloads (just for calls), it packed up within 2 months. I know that many of these products are not sold by Jumia and are only displayed on their store, but then it behoves on Jumia to institute thorough monitoring for the sake of their constumers. I trust on online stores when I do business and so I expect them to protect my interest. Konga is far better. |
oluwole1211:Amen. And you too, my brother. |
If Adeleke wins, I will deactivate all my social media accounts. In summary, Oyetola will remain the governor, and for good reasons too. He is a far better administrator than the Michael Jackson wannabe Adeleke. Osun needs to get moving forward despite her many woes. And between Oyetola and Adeleke, only Oyetola has the wherewithal to achieve this. Adeleke must understand that there is more to administration than dancing about. Oyetola is the better man. This nonsense should end today so that Oyetola can unfold his plans without further unnecessary distractions. |
HabuD:Which Egypt is on fire? In case you don't know, even the Egyptian fans are not confident that their squad can beat South Africa on Saturday. That is how unimpressive Egypt has been in this competition. The only way Egypt will beat Nigeria is through crowd factor which would get the likes of Akpeyi even more jittery, and VAR. As for Cameroon, we will beat them on Saturday. The only department where they are better than us is in the goalkeeping department. They have scored just as few goals as us and they have fired blank in two matches already. Nothing spectacular about them. Moreover, we play better when we face supposedly big boys like Cameroon. Cameroon are not even our rivals. As long as we are not meeting them in an AFCON final match (it is much harder for any team to beat Cameroon in a final match), Cameroon can never beat us. The highest Cameroon would get against us is a draw in regulation time. |
Obviously, we will beat Cameroon. But except a miracle happens and South Africa beats Egypt, then we are very likely to meet Egypt in the Quarter Finals. Seeing how fanatical the North Africans can be when an event is holding on their tuft, it would be game over for Nigeria. In summary, we can't win this AFCON. |
