Mikeiron78: Why would a restaurant owner place no camera allowed at a restaurant, if there's nothing illegal going on there?
The restaurant's policy. (I mean, you must not know the deep reasons behind every policy) Like,, if you must use a camera, please step outside. .. So, a law abiding person should also abide by that small policy too
Mikeiron78: This happened in the USA, not in Nigeria, so, stop being a judge, the reality is, at a public place in America, you can record anyone, there is no Nigerian police here. Have you ever thought about the Paparazzi and how celebrities run away, why can't they sue everyone out of being harassed, that is one of the negative side of being a public figure.
Ronaldo Knocked down somebody's phone.. and that was that. .. Just recently, Nicki Minaj shoved someone who was trying to capture her on her phone camera
helinues: The credit should go to the bluntcrazeguy abi wetin be his moniker
.. Thanks for acknowledging bro.. .. We actually worked on the INEC because of the Anambra2021 Election. .. But then,, since 2023 is not so far away,, we decided not to rest on our oars.
Your assertions are just wrong. First there is no "AMERICAN" definition of public space this is a state jurisdiction issue. A restaurant to which the public have access i.e During its OPENING HOURS is a public space IN NEW YORK LAW e.g Public place” means a place to which the public or a substantial group of persons has access, and includes, but is not limited to, highways, transportation facilities, schools, places of amusement, parks, playgrounds, community......................etc g The fundamental issue determining whether a space is public is ACCESS
Accessibility is what makes a place public. NOT OWNERSHIP. e.g a restaurant is private property but in law during its opening hours it is a public place. It is crucial to note the concept of MATERIAL TIME . During its opening hours is the material time as far as a restaurant is concerned
If I have a party in my house with 100 people it is private property but as long as they are there it is a public place.
Do not assume that your belief are reality ,cross check
If the owner of the Restaurant places a notice that reads “No Cameras Allowed”,, then even if it is a public place, nobody should use cameras within the restaurant.
When something is happening in the public, then it can be recorded by anybody. .. But once the person that is being recorded says that he doesn't want to be recorded, then, the person that continues to record him cannot claim right if the person being recorded makes moves to stop the recording by himself. .. So, we should always be careful when we record events. Once the person says it out that he doesn't want to be recorded, then, whatever he does that time in an effort to stop the recording cannot be counted against him, so far he didn't cause bodily harm to you who continued recording. .. Thus if you are recording some events that are happening publicly, you still have to make sure that none of the people you were recording told you to stop recording them..
Fruitydemo: We don decide for Osun ooo... Nigeria if una like mk una no decide next year... #Imole is here
This was the type of Joy we felt in Anambra in November 2021. We decided to have our deserved rest, and leave Nigerians alone to do their best in 2023. .. But then, we remembered Buhari... And we don't want another mistake again in 2023. And that was how we jumped back again into the making of 2023..
Obidient4life2: 2023 all Nigerias will erupt in such joy when Obi is announced winner of presidential election.
Many People will be blowing fireworks.. How I wish the results would be announced in the night. .. Let the whole Nigerian skies be filled with different colours of fireworks..
HarunaWest: Who locked SS and NC for LP. Don't compare Osun Election with Nigeria's Election. Gaskiya we all know that Oyetola was rigged in with remote control. Now the people just gave him a straight red. He was never a popular candidate so he can't command any followership. To win elections, you need structures in place. It will shock you to know that NNPP has a superb structure when compared to Labour Party. Obi is a good man, i don't know his antecedents, but if he doesn't have a solid structure, things will get rough for him. He should work on alliances and make compromises.
Nigerian Preacher Arrested On The Street Of The UK By The UK Police For Preaching In An Open Place.
.. 1. What did they say was his exact offence?? (Something-something “Social” - I didn't get it very well from the video)
2. Who called the police on him? (The police themselves didn't know who called them, but they responded - when will the Nigerian Police be like that?)
3. The people recording them are not wrong. The event is a public event, and not a private event, and thus they can record.. But then, if the policemen doesn't want to be recorded, they had the right to tell them “ to stop the recording.. And that, if they warn them again about it, then they will make them to stop the recording by themselves”.
Shugavee: that’s not correct , every state is alienated to a party with people who have followers that have followers that has followers, Winning an election is collective effort of important persons in a community.
2023 is for the Non-Partisan Nigerians. .. So,, chill. We are into the 2023 Politics this once-and-for-all.
Pacesetterz: I am deeply concerned to ask this question on a forum like this to read the reactions and feelings of Nigerians concerning basic infrastructure needs like water in a state.
How many states can boast of portable water running through their houses(I’m not talking about boreholes)...I mean tap water provided by the state govt.
Growing up in the North(Kaduna state to be precise,in d 90s) I still recall how water runs through pipes and then flows to our kitchen tap. Sometimes we don’t see the water for some days and when it finally comes we all become excited for this basic amenity. This is 2022,how many states can boast of pipe borne water to her people? It’s no longer news that individuals are now providing basic amenities for themselves while those whom they voted into power no longer do their job. For goodness sake why should individuals be sinking boreholes all in the name of having water run through their homes? Where is the govt?
Is this how it is in South Africa? Is this how it is in Ghana? Is this how it is in Kenya? Is this how it is in Rwanda?
If something as simple as tap water can’t be running in homes of millions of Nigeria..can we then say governance in Nigeria is indeed a rocket science? I think the East has a billion and one sunken boreholes than any region. I maybe wrong
I want an open discussion on this thread, pls be objective as possible don’t bring tribal war here.

Why Showing their faces naa?? This is kinda putting them into trouble oo
ijustdey: Mr Adeleke won in 17 of the 30 local government areas. He also won some local governments in the strongholds of the APC, such as Ilesa West and Ife North.
Shugavee: This election should teach Labour Party members a lesson , Labour Party has no structure and had less than 3000 votes in the whole osun. What does that tell you ? It tells you That APC and PDP remains the major parties in Nigeria. Be realistic to yourself and pick PDP if you know you don’t want the Muslim Muslim ticket or a drug dealer as our president!!
Good morning and happy Sunday
Let us waste our votes.. .. And let whoever that wins win. Don't distract us. .. Who is the Mod who pushed this PDP Campaign post to the front page sef.??
Moh247: Umahi's only fault is been an Abakaliki Ebonyi guy, that is why they have decided to support a failure like Peter Obi all because he is from Anambra over an excellently qualified Eng Dave Umahi
You forgot how him and Uzodimma were doing everything to please Buhari.??
