Car TalkRe: Can it get any worse? 1L/Mile by BluStreak(op): 3:51pm On Nov 12, 2014
Just like Nisspart said and my research findings also indicated, I have a misfire issues on cylinder 2 and 6 based on the scan result which shows P0302 & P0306.

I want to start with changing my spark plugs. I hope it resolves the problem since the spark plugs are the lesser evil compared to plug wires. My car uses the NGK Laser Iridium plugs. And I want to insist on the specific model it came with; NGK IZFR6K-11

Going by that, Nisspart and other fellas that deal genuine parts and accessories, how can I get a set of 6 and your price pls?. I have checked some shops in my hood and they don't have em. One shop has the G-Power version but I want to go with the recommended one to avoid "Had I known".
Car TalkRe: Can it get any worse? 1L/Mile by BluStreak(op): 2:44pm On Nov 11, 2014
My people, I have been on the internet since I got to work researching on the issue. The findings are scary. When MIL starts to flash, it a scream that something BIG and BAD is about to happen. Many atime, it will take a hit on the CAT. So I gotta take a quick dash to get it checked out. My findings more often points to misfire which I admit the car is experiencing when I wanna push her hard. But if I just allow her gain speed gradually there will be no misfire.

Possible culprits from my research:
1. Coil Pack
2. Plug Wire
3. O2 sensor
4. Knock Sensor

I pray its the least of the evils when I eventually get to scan her.

Thanks all for your inputs so far. I wont mind the hot-heads adding their voice. But will any of these cause the car to gulp 1 litre of fuel per mile?
Car TalkCan it get any worse? 1L/Mile by BluStreak(op):
My car has gone berserk. Gulping a whopping 1 litre of fuel for every mile done. N3000 fuel from akowonjo to apapa and back. The reserve light came on just before I hit agege motor road through computer village.

Check engine light is flashing but car runs smooth. I know all modern cars share a lot in common in terms of working principles. Its a V6 07 accord ex. Someone please give me a pointer. I am yet to do a scan but I need to have a heads up before stepping out on the repairs.

The Nigerian politicians dividing us along ethnic lines should come and be shamed. In all this now, has anyone asked the ethnicity of our sick brother here? This is the Nigerian heart I knew growing up. God's blessings will rest upon all the Nairaland members. Those that contributed their substance and those that supported in prayers, the blessing of the Almighty will never be in short supply in your lives.

Long live nairaland.

Se.un is still chilling somewhere until what happens to nairaland (when the thread between Ogakpatakpata and de honourable hit FP) decided to hit him again, then he would be quick to act.

Even the MOD that put this on FP needs a brain check. . smh
Seun and his MODS hasn't wronged anybody. The story isn't fabricated. It truly happened and I assure you, lessons has been learned by all including TrueRebel's owner. You cannot run a business like a motor park, at the same time, don't sell your clientele BYD as BMW even though their badge has a resemblance.

TrueRebel hasn't committed a crime in his pricing - it is free market and again nobody knows his running cost. Naija is a tough terrain when it comes to running a business. His crime however is in not telling his customers the truth and his inhuman treatment of his employees.

Christianity EtcRe: Is Sexual Desire A Sin? by BluStreak(m): 6:48pm On Nov 02, 2014
Sexual desire and lust are 2 parallel lines. While lust can be described as a sexual fantasy towards the opposite sex, sexual desire is a natural call. It can sometimes be triggered by sight or our thoughts, and also in some cases, it comes all naturally.

In my conclusion, sexual desire is not a sin, what you do with the desire is what will lead you to sin if it deviates from what God approved.

If Tosyn chose this as her best bikini foto, then I have a problem with that. This pix made her hipless and nothing is as unappealing as a hipless chick. And her booobiez also didn't leave much to be desired. They look out of order.

Tosyn abeg try another one this one no be am.

RomanceRe: Is He Really In Ghana?! by BluStreak(m):
GHKWAME1: Mr I know everything, who told you Ghana has no network tone? What makes you so sure more so when you have never been to Ghana before huh? What is so strange in having the same tone with the same network in another country? I know a nairalander who came to Ghana and used his Nigerian number, I know because we had a chat through whatsapp, with technology anything and everything is possible these days.
Mr. Angry ghana man no be fight naaah haba. I never implied the bold(ed). About ever being to Ghana or ever roamed myself, let's leave that to the gods. My argument is that the network that mtn has roaming agreement with in Ghana has a single long flat tone while MTN Nigeria has a dual bass tone per pulse. Note that this is my own attempt to explain what I meant by caller tone as I am not in the telecoms and don't know what they call those. So when u roam, ur tone inherits the roamed network tone. When ur callers put a call through to you, what they hear is the new inherited tone instead of our Nigeria MTN's usual network tone. Reason being that the call no longer terminates on your local MTN network in Naija. kapish! So Mr. Angry, ghana network has tone o u hear. No network analogue or digital wey no get tone.
RomanceRe: Is He Really In Ghana?! by BluStreak(m): 7:54pm On Sep 21, 2014
My dear, once the caller tone is the same, he is not in Ghana. Once a number roams, it inherits the caller tone of the roamed network. I have friends and family that has taken a trip to ghana and other parts of the world. The caller tones are never the same.

For whatever reason he chose to lie, me dunno but he hasn't left our shores I guarantee you that. Except perhaps he roamed to an mtn network with same network tone as ours. Ghana has none anywayz.

FamilyRe: Your Childhood Prayer Before Eating Food (unchanged Habit) by BluStreak(m): 10:36pm On Sep 18, 2014
Ours is rendered in my Igbo language. It goes like this "Chineke gozie anyi, gozie nri'a anyi n'eri ka odi anyi mma n'aru site na Jesus Christ bu'onye nwe anyi. Amen." I still do that till date in that old fashioned way despite all the education and exposure. It is a deeply rooted part of me. I don't know about my other siblings.
FamilyRe: Your Childhood Prayer Before Eating Food (unchanged Habit) by BluStreak(m):
chocolateme: "Father bless and sanctify this food for us in Jesus name Amen, we cover this this food with the blood of Jesus".
That is the exact words used by our parents to raise us to pray before food with our right hand spread over the food.
Do you know that up till this adult age, all six of us still say that exact prayer over food before eating. Its funny shaa, I have tried to changge words but couldn't. Do you experience that too? Share yours..
My dear @OP. Those are our exact prayers o. it is so much a part of me that I do it even in public places and restaurants. Deep within me I feel it is unjust to eat your food without thanking God who made it possible. The only thing missing in ours in the 2nd stanza "I cover this food with the blood of Jesus." I forgot to add that ours is rendered in our Igbo language. It goes like this "Chineke gozie anyi, gozie nri'a anyi n'eri ka odi anyi mma n'aru site na Jesus Christ bu'onye nwe anyi. Amen."

My fear now is Miss A might just go diabolic to eliminate B to step in her shoes since she has said she can't be a 2nd wife and at the same time said she can't imagine life without the guy. Your guy should end it now else he might just have his wife's dead in his hands.

BusinessRe: GTBank's Internet Banking Services...totally OVER-HYPED! by BluStreak(m): 10:54am On Sep 08, 2014
This OP is a paid detractor. I have been using GT mobile banking since the days of their GTMobile java app for smartphones. Today it is called the GTbank mobile App where u can do almost everything. Going by the processes you outlined in ur bid to rubbish GTBank, you are far from know what GTBank mobile banking look or feels like. So you can just go ahead and end enter someone's banking details and initiate a transfer? You won't have to add the recipient first as a beneficiary using ur token to authorise the account to be a beneficiary? OP I have picked loads of holes in ur rightup, but let me just live it here.

Do your research well next time.

FamilyAren't Mostly The Femalefolk Their Own Undoings? by BluStreak(op): 10:30am On Sep 04, 2014
Often times, women don't believe a man can be truly faithful so when they have everything going so good in any type of relationship, they start to feel uneasy which leads them to activating their CSI mode. The downside of this act is that, surely they will find something which most often than not are usually nothing to raise the trouble alert level. These little things are then magnified out of proportion due to their mindset at that point in time. This has led to the destruction of several once happy relationships and marriages.

The question now is; How difficult is it to trust your partner without having to snoop around looking for what is not? Aren't we even gonna be happier not know certain things?

Over to ya'all ma fellow forumites.

@OP, my biggest worry at the moment is your clear statement that you cannot live without this guy. However, I will urge you for the sake of your sanity and the welfare of your children, leave that house. Note that I haven't said leave your husband! Leave the house so you can rebuild yourself and your health. Thank goodness you have a warm family that cares. Your children will be worse off if you die trying to hang on in a terrible marriage.

You are gonna hurt o when you eventually leave, you will cry in the middle of the night o, you will imagine where he is and who he is with, but time will heal all that. Stop wondering where you went wrong cos from the little expose' you have given us, I can beat my chest to the fact that you are a great woman. No perfect being sure! but you have given your all, don't give your life please.

The Lord God will be your strength and see you through.

To add to what I have said earlier, your failing health might not be unconnected with your husband's ex. This is even a more reason why you should leave before they snatch your life from you. Women are their own worst enemies.
