Beyond Magu: Buratai’s blood money dubai houses and Buharis jihad

Nigeria was a theater of absurdities but was on its gradual path to sanity before the insane took over the asylum in 2015. It all began like a dark humor with the repackaging of a legendary looter and blood thirsty quota system army major general in the person of buhari.

With smokes, mirrors, and help from a US political consultancy firm which culminated in the abduction of Chibok schoolgirls. That abduction – orchestrated by the desperate opposition – was given international attention by the political consultancy firm, and a fraud stole the Nigerian presidency.

At this time that boko haram was being strengthened and Nigeria army being sabotaged by its very echelon through deliberate poor armament of the soldiers – amongst others, buratai was in charge of procurement. He was so effective in his sabotage that the then President Jonathan had to go employ the services of South African mercenaries to keep the nation from being overrun by these enemies from within.

Fast forward to 2016, buratai – as reward for sabotage well done – was made the chief of army staff to continue his sabotage and purge of southerners from the army by battle. Concurrently, a witchhunt colored as a supposed war against corruption was expectedly begun by buhari using an indicted Magu – by SSS – as the shameless arrowhead. Buratai was spared and kept out of the supposed “military” corruption.

Then it was revealed that buratai, a soldier on a $3,000 per month salary had at least two properties in Dubai worth over $1,000,000!

In a move reminiscent of mafia movies, when Magu was compelled to investigate how a soldier could afford houses in Dubai, both EFCC and the Nigeria army became buratais lawyers. Whilst the army stopped at issuing press statements and helping explain away apparent theft, Magu went bat shit.

Apparently, buratai bought the houses from a real estate company in Nigeria that sells real estate in Dubai. The company is called The First Group Real Estate (TFG real estate).

Magu rather prosecute buratai who clearly has been caught robbing the army blind chose to blame the company that helps hundreds of Nigerians acquire property in the UAE. Magu sealed the company on the 13th of July 2016 claiming they were defrauding Nigerians. I guess they defrauded buratai by helping him buy houses with monies buratai gave them, a property the same magu, the corrupt presidency and the Nigeria army said buratai acquired with his savings.

Beyond Magu helping buratai cover up the properties purchased with blood money from the phantom war on boko haram, the code of conduct bureau – that same one used to illegally remove Chief Justice Onnoghen – quickly cleared same buratai of any crime despite buratai buying the 2nd discovered property merely 11days after his appointment as chief of army staff – a fact he lied about on TV.

Magu is not the only thief in buharis government of bandits, he is one out of ALL buharis appointees. Each and everyone of them is involved in humongous theft or the other. Akpabio, Malami, Ngige, Kyari, Sirika, Nanobo, the list is long and a waterfall.

If any thief should be held in orders of priorities however, it should be buratai. His theft is not only costing Nigeria moneybut actively costing military and civilian lives!

I wrote the article to this point almost two weeks ago. Several events have since happened that affirm what I wrote.

The morbid flagship project of buhari and buratai were again “graduated” with fanfare. 603 boko haram terrorists were given national identity cards, dressed up, fed, treated as royalty and sent with money and terror-useful skills back into the society they terrorised, not one hour spent in jail to atone for their sins – all these – whilst the victims are homeless, unfed, unclad and their dead family members unburied.

Buratai is so vested in this theft that he orchestrated an attack on the convoy of the Borno State governor just this week as the hardworking academic made a visit to one of the IDPs created by buratai and buhari where 80,000 souls were left to languish under the elements whilst the terrorists who put them there were being fettered and rewarded with new cloths, money and national identity cards.

Then came Sallah and buhari shamelessly and publicly said Nigerians knows he has tried his best on tackling the rising mass insecurity that he actively fanned and rewarded.

Despite this open accusation by a sitting governor against buratais army, buhari his commander-in-thief came out defending him as usual.

This begs the question, what does buratai and the rest of the service thiefs know about the jihadist sitting as president over Nigeria? Looking at all the looting going on and the brashness manner its being done, these are actions of people who know that maybe buhari is not buhari. This appears a pact amongst thieves, they are each trying to steal as much as they can, for as long as they can, before the bubble bursts or is there any other explanation?

Only then does it begins to make sense why Amaechi insists on signing away Nigeria sovereignty to take a needless pseudo loan from China, why Keyamo insists – without approval – on using an opaque 774,000 useless job to clear over 50bn from the treasury, why Sadiya was openly looting via untraceable cash, why Akpabio was confidently grandstanding to cover tens of billions in mismanaged NDDC funds, why Nanobo the agric minister took 13bn to dash to insects and why the core criminals sold $2.5bn worth of crude oil and shared the proceeds. These are all the daylight heist, more abound.

Yet, all these thefts pale in comparison to what buratai has stolen in cash and lives. As at 2018, $9bn has been spent on the fake war against boko haram. This does not include the various billions buhari has borrowed to “concentrate on the northern region”.

Nobody should be calling for buratai to resign, what needs to be done is for him to be arrested for both corruption and crimes against humanity!

Call for the arrest of buratai now or have boko haram terrorists -with national ID cards and monthly stipend – take residence in your neighborhood soon. The choice is yours.

Herdsmen attack Plateau community, kill 18, raze houses, vehicles

No less than 18 people were reportedly killed, with several others seriously injured when armed bandits suspected to be Fulani militias invaded another community in Plateau State, in the early hours of Tuesday.

The heavily armed bandits who attacked the Ancha community in Miango Chiefdom of Bassa local government area of the state, also razed down houses, food barns as well as vehicles before escaping from the community.

Confirming the attack in a statement on Wednesday, the spokesman of the state Special Task Force, Operation Safe Haven (OPSH), Itshaku Takwa, said the troops of the task force responded swiftly and mobilised to the village, but on reaching the community, the attackers had already fled the village.

“In the late hours of Tuesday, January 11, troops of OPSH received a distress call of an attack on Ancha community in Bassa local government area.

“The troops responded swiftly and mobilised to the village, but on reaching the community, the attackers had fled the village.

"Troops of Operation SAFE HAVEN are on the trail of the assailants and details of the pursuit would be made available later.

"The Commander, Operation SAFE HAVEN, Maj. Gen. IS Ali, while commiserating with the families of those who lost their lives during the attack, has reiterated his resolve to ensure perpetrators of evil on the Plateau face the consequences of their dastard acts," he said.

The National Secretary of Irigwe Development Association,

For its part, the judiciary is empowered to check the exercise of presidential authority through the awesome power of judicial review, which includes the authority to declare presidential acts unconstitutional.

It is, however, difficult to assess how the National Assembly and the Judiciary have been able to serve as checks on Presidential power. Historically, Presidents and executive authorities have been known to ignore judicial orders without consequences. Without consequences for disobeying court orders, it is difficult to tell whether or not the President is under the law like any other Nigerian. The National Assembly has also not been able to stand as a buffer between the executive and the poor masses. Rather, the face-off between the Presidency and the National Assembly has been more about power tussle and sharing of the national resources than about limiting or confining the President to his constitutional boundaries.

The constitution is not a product of any constitutional conference. It was hurriedly prepared by the outgoing military government of General Abdulsalam Abubakar. Thus, many Nigerians continue to criticize it and see it more as a military constitution than the civilian constitution.
The constitution fails to define the roles of the traditional rulers in government.
The constitution is not clear on the functions and creation of the local governments. This makes local governments to be at the mercy of the other governments. Then, this issue of creation of more local governments has been a major source of conflict between states and federal governments. A classical example was Lagos vs Federal Government during Obasanjo's administration.
The exclusive list is too bogus. It makes the federal government to be too dominant, while the states and local governments become unnecessarily dependent on the centre.
Powers of the President are too much. This makes some presidents to abuse the office and disregard the powers of the other organs.
The recognition of the Sharia courts contravenes the description of the country as being SECULAR. It's like having two contradictory constitutions.

We cant keep on legitimizing it, acting like our votes actually counts.
We cant build a house, on a faulty foundation.

They got there via the Fraudulent 1999 constitution;
They agreed to amend it prio to election;but abandoned it afterwards;
Nigeria was a better federation ;with the appropriate constitution The 1963 constitution;let us go back to that; or rather the negotiated independence constitution.

Apex pan-Yoruba socio-cultural group, Afenifere, has insisted that there will be no election in 2023 without a new Constitution for the country.

The Afenifere who declared this stance through its leader, Chief Ayo Adebanjo, at the its monthly meeting held at his residence in Sanya-Ogbo, Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State, on Tuesday, said leaders of the group have resolved to preach a ‘no new Constitution, no 2023 election’ to all Yoruba people in the country.

Adebanjo who presided over the meeting, said it will be a waste of time for Yoruba people to participate in the coming election with the 1999 Constitution still in operation.

On the resolution of the group on the coming election, Adebanjo said he and other leaders of Afenifere have resolved that the Constitution must be reviewed before the election could hold.

“I don’t believe in the election as the leader of Afenifere and some of my members here don’t believe; I don’t believe in that election and I have told my members if they can refuse it, okay, what do we need elections for?” Chief Adebanjo reiterated.

“Our stand is that the Constitution is not our own, the election is going on under that fraudulent Constitution, they said they will go to the assembly to amend, assembly is the product of the fraud. You want the beneficiary of the fraud to amend the fraud, who are you talking to? Here is a man that has come out openly, declared that, ‘say what you like,” he added.
