I use progdvb 4.82 and skynet.
I still use the pids i have had for like two years.
I am not sure i understand what you mean by entering pids manually.
I have not tried other sats.

let no scummy complain about the red card.

Actually internet via satellite is quite common in some places. anyone interested can do a google search of nairaland, Nash-FTA once posted something to that effect. there are services from skylogic which are easy.to install and quite cheap. But another way to access the internet via satellite is to use the satellite for downlink and a regular phone line or gprs connection for the uplink. this is not so bad if your uploads are not so.much and gives u great access to very high download speeds. the downside is that you pay two sets of subscription fees to your two providers.
BUT, (and i only mention this to be silent about it forever on THIS thread).A few persons have claimed to be able to browse without cost using this setup and a dvbs card (great card by the way). i neva got around to trying it out though, because i was free in the yellow way, but the info is out there for anyone interested.

Can you give more details on this at the backyard?

And buy some other hardware.

I do not know the price of the pci or usb box but it should not be more than 10 - 15k

You need to get the dvb-s card in your case a usb because of your laptop.
After that i can guide you to make it work.

I want to bring up this topic here again. It has been discussed on the main TV/Movies thread before.
Interest in it gradually went down because it difficult to get the hardware required for it to work.
But with the efforts of members like Olofofo and others in the computer village, the hard is now readily available.
With the renewed interest in Eutelsat W3 by members on this forum I like to re-start this thread here.

In summary, offline downloading is the ability to download files without internet.
You can get unlimited videos, music, pictures, documents etc free of charge by just putting on your computer (desktop & laptop)
It requires a dvb-s pci or usb card connected to this frequency 12520 H 27500 on W3.

I will be here to answer any question on how to make it work.
I also have all the files necessary for it to work.

While I will not blame the preacher for his zeal I will also not condem the people who are against it.

A point in time held a very strong opinion on women wearing trousers even the extent that
I vowed not to propose love to any lady that I have seen in trousers.
But my orientation changed when i had the oppurtunity to visit a north african country in the tick of their winter.

While it was difficult for me a male to keep warm even in my jeans trousers and  I was begining to see why a lady could wear trousers I was suprised to notice that a female colleague on the same trip kept her skirt sense all though the 3 months period.
So I will say that it is a matter of choice than weather or profession as many would gladly want to point out.

My own opinion based on my experience is that onece there is a debate on an issue, there will certainly be
reasons why it is good and why it is bad. For me, a christian, I will not encourage a dress or clothing that is
suggestive or provocative. I have seen very nice female trousers and i have also seen very bad trousers
unfortunately not in Europe or North America where it was invented but in here Nigeria where we copy blindly.

Bottom line - What is the aim of a woman or lady wearing trousers? I will rather judge the motive rather than the helpless trousers!

My brother your c band lnb with di-electric has to be prime focus then use V not H. The signal is high as 75% in 69x and also upgrade your 69x to 1.07p the most current one cos there is more than one.

I will only add that you check your frequency, polarization and symbol rate. Make sure they are the ones been used currently by the provider you want to receive.
