When the church welcome known criminals we condemn her, When she shuts her door against in-disciplined people, we still crucify her, So what do we want from the church? Whatever happened to the full match box that our fore fathers used to send to their bride's family after the first night of the couple if she was met a virgin? What will make a woman open her legs to a man that is not in any way committed to her through legally consummated marriage, let alone do it flesh to flesh. I see it more as irresponsibility on the part of the two consenting adults which could lead to anything ranging from STDs to the dreaded AIDS virus. The guy can even deny paternity of the unborn child turning the girl or lady to a single parent with an illegitimate son or daughter. I am married to a virgin, I honor and respect her not because of what the church said but because she is a virtuous woman. Call me old school, I don't care! |
semid4lyfe:I guess the AIT on dstv is different from the local one, it's only a drama that is currently running on the AIT dstv channel now |
Which AIT is showing the match? Local AIT on dstv or AIT Europe? |
@all, As have been said before let's be very careful on the issue of downloading patches and upgrading of our decoders. I can see the cries of fried decoders is getting ever louder here ooo!
Oga George, Don't advise anybody to stop upgrading otherwise you will spoil market for Enitan who is currently writing a "revive your dead box" manual and olofofo who needs to sell all boxes in his latest order. |
Akerekoroabijawara:I knew it wasn't going to be long before someone got his fingers burnt. @ Enitan, Can you please upload the manual i asked you to write when the upgrade madness started. |
Looking at the events of the past weeks especially from the unwarranted disruption of a Jumat service in University of Ibadan and the near breakdown of law and order that almost followed, the uproar in USA over the plan to build a Muslim community center near ground Zero to the recent activities of a pastor also in USA trying to raise a congregation who will be burning the Quran, I have been unable to find an answer to my question. What is in religion that divides us? Will it ever be possible for us to find common grounds or words in our religions that will make us live in peace and respect each other? We leave in fear not because of these religions but because of the people who become extremists with it. Dear all, Let us use this thread to identity the things or issues that can bring us together as a people even with our diverse religious affiliations. |
@Ilish, Seems more people are attesting to the goodies of 1.09p so I'll make haste to upgrade asap. Thanks.
@Enitan I hope you have started preparing a tutorial on how to wake a dead 69x after upgrading? Even Geroge D too is preparing to upgrade. @All Upgrading to remove mytv logo and reduce boot time is **** compared to the agony of having a dead box. My 63x still carries a Dec 2009 version that i only upgraded because i wanted to join the flying eagles. If you need to upgrade at will, you might consider buying some jtagging tools. |
shanktang:And what makes me a bloody hypocrith? |
Waoh, it was intresting reading through the past 10 pages. As usual i have seen Nigerians divided along the lines of religion and tribe. While some comments were funny, others were very very thought provoking. A friend of mine once visited Thailand and made a passing comment about a friend of his becoming the next king in the country. He was quickly tongue lashed by his friend and warned that any other comment like that could land him in jail or even death. But I ask myself, what is it that we plan to gain with all these religious sentiments. A lady dressed up like a Muslim going to a mosque during a jumat service in the month of Ramadan? That to me is the height of insanity, what was she thinking? Trying to convert all of them to Christians? This is my grouse with all these churches who will not allow their members to mix freely with the society. They are the only holy ones, they wear Christianity on the faces and everybody must fall down by fire! They have misguided a soul just like mutalab was misguided even if she wasn't carrying an explosive. 'Bout the reaction of the Muslim faithfuls? I have no comments as i am still shocked with the behaviour of the girl. |
Moral of the story; Don't insist on paying on a date until you are sure there is a purse in your pocket |
I have not seen anything built on nothing that stands. I can remember my comments about HITV when they started out, No company succeeds as opposition company just as no party has succeed as opposition party. You build a company to compete not to oppose! I even prefer Mytv to Hitv with their EPL. All Mr Subair wanted to do was to disgrace Dstv, in doing this he left his constituency which happens to be his subscribers. He gave the money he was suppose to use in building a virile company to the EPL organizers. Dstv survived without the EPL, lets see Hitv do it too. This might be a blessing in disguise for Hitv, with the pressure of the EPL off their shoulders, they can now build a DTH company that we will all be proud of, even without EPL. |
Dear all, Does anyone here know if the North East (NE) Zone of Intelsat 903 at 34.5°W is receiveable in Nig. Lyngsat seems not to have a footprint for that zone. Cheers and thanks. |
How many of us are on the side of the Netherlands? Go RVP! |
Ameboperoo:He is already the kid of the dieties, "a ki fi omo ore bo ore." |
Hotwire:This is how it starts, how many times have we said on this forum that it is absolutely not necessary to update the software of your receivers. I have personaly on more than 2 occassions advised on this thread against upgrading the 69x with a particular version of software which i cannot easily remember now because of what i have seen. Like i usually say a word is enough for the wise, if you still decide to go ahead, go luck. we will however be here to laugh at or congratulate you after the experience. |
@ harakiri What a wonderful write up you had there. But from my observations you must have once been a very good christian. I do not have answers to your questions but there is a simple thought process i would like you to follow Why do we all believe that there is a supreme being called GOD? Simple answer is we have seen many things that we think is beyond the power of mortals. If we could reason out or explain or do all the things that we believe only a God can do, won't we all be called gods? I am a christian because i believe that there is a God, whose ways no human being cannot phantom. I am sorry if i didn't answer your question |
Nigeria coach Lars Lagerback has revealed his disappointment with this side’s 2-1 defeat at the hands of Greece today, bemoaning the lack of communication between coaches and referees following Sani Kaita’s red card. “It is difficult. Maybe I have been in this business too long,” the 61-year-old Swede told a press conference. “I am extremely disappointed with the lack of communication between us and the referee. We were not allowed to speak to them and ask why Kaita was sent off.” The Super Eagles took a first half lead when Kalu Uche's free kick crept in at the far post but goals from Dimitrios Salpingidis and Vasilis Torosidis left Nigeria with a mountain to climb in order to achieve qualification from Group B. All I can do is congratulate Greece, they scored two and we scored only one,” Lagerback continued. “We have to take this and restart tomorrow. The sending off was hugely important. Under the circumstances I am proud of the way we played with one man down. “The ball seems to be moving a bit strangely, but it is the same for both teams so it doesn't matter,” he added, alluding to the mistake from his goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama that gifted Greece the winning goal |
i'm sure Mumudu must have cursed the SE, |
Naija, how market? |

", the game was a lesson, not entertainment" appologies to obesere. |
I just heard over the news that Gordon Brown has decamped to the Conservative party. Brown explained that he was no longer happy with the people he was working with in the Labour party which resulted in the dismal perfomance of the party in the just concluded elections. |
Dear Chairman, The earlier you concentrate on the test before you the better. For your information P&G cares only about whether you a polytechnic or university grad. All academic qualifications including your Msc qualifies you only for the aptitude test. Pass the test (which only about 2 - 5% do) and you will be faced with series of interviews that will definitely leave you both dazed and surprised. You will only be asked about your past experiences, if you have done it before, they belief you will be able to do it again. The company is one of the best consumer companies in the world that you can work with. You will get all the exposure and learn as much as your brains can accommodate. It is going to be a lot of fun and challenge combined working with a company such as this. About the salary, i can't say, renumeration is confidential. But consider a 25 to 30% raise every year if you are hard working enough. Imagine earning more than 400% of you starting base in about 4 - 5years! The choice is yours. Cheers |
@ All Does anyone know if the new nokia 5330 (with dvb-h/dvb-t) will be able to receive star tv signal? |
The man was advised to stay in kastina jeje, marry his daughters to governors in all the geo political zones in Nigeria so that he can continue to carry out his 7 pointless agender through the bedroom e no gree, as it stands now e be like say the angels don apply their lock out tag out for his neck! RIP Mr President |
bode, i think unseen was just trying to be naughty.
Exactly, he is looking for the attention he is no longer getting from the phones' section. To ice his absurdity he thinks Enitan will be annoyed with me because he quoted my post. @ Unseen. Before you paste my picture here you should consider posting the picture on your nairaland profile first. I will reply your further rantings with silence which it is the best answer for people of your category and IQ. |
@ Unseen You must definitely have some sinister plot up your sleeves to quote my post about enitan. Obviously you have not been following the fta thread. We have seen countless guys like you on this thread and i am sure you will soon go the way they went. You are free to attack me as i am not an elder on the forum. |
@ Enitan I suggest you open a thread on how to browse free with 4663x on the jokes thread. Kindly also include how other tools like freegate and tor can used on Casio calculators to surf the web. |
, is this request worthy of a thread? |
gddams:I use progdvb 6.05 pro and skynet which works perfectly for me. Get progdvb 6.05 from here: http://www.4shared.com/file/yS1ArJiZ/ProgDVB_Pro_605.html?s=1 You can google for skynet. |
I hope this is not rather late. Buying fta equipment accessories should be what an fta hobbyist should do without thinking. I cannot count the number of items that i have on fta that i have not used; different dish sizes, H - H motor, magnetic compass, cas 3 programmer and recently dreambox. That is why we call it our hobby! When you commit your resources to get the equipment, your will power to now how it works or how to use it will follow, My advice is buy, buy, buy and ask later. Lest i forget, if you come to this forum and you do not pick a quarrel with enitan, you are obviously doing something wrong! He is the fta stone that we pour red oil on, you will see more of his behaviour when next the moderator forgets to do the oil pouring. Enitan - may the deities continue to guide you. bjvebghjkdlksjflFJOKFJkflkma'lfskml (that is goodluck in my own German) |
