pocohantas: In my own experience, most men are conditioned to be nice to ladies. Sometimes because they are 'gentlemen', other times because they have other 'plans'. Ladies on their part employ all sorts of manipulative techniques, which works better on men. Try it on a fellow woman and you'll meet a brick wall.
True talk na @make it rain. They are that nice o.
It is easy to notice Guys life are easy TBH.. We don't do any thing special to get favours from either male or female bosses... |

I have resigned from so many companies cos of unhappiness. These companies pay good money. All the time, I never had a new job before resigning. I will be unproductive when unhappy. And that night lead to a sack. Talk less of common relationship.
A relationship will be easiest thing to do. But a marriage, I will try to make it work but if it doesn't, I can't deal with unhappiness. I'm too young to die
But you op have been collecting the d from another guy and that guy is making you satisfied sexually..

pocohantas: Trust me on this dear, I work with more males than females. Ask those ladies to sincerely tell you their reasons for wanting males bosses, you will see it is all selfish reasons.
I edited that post. The answer to that is simple na, it is easier to be dependent. Nigerian men love spending on women, behave well and they will make it rain.
LOL, I know that. Was quite easy to notice. @make it rain was very hilarious No it isn't easy to notice. That part of me is only a reflection of what meets me... Women are difficult to approach is almost their replies.... |

pocohantas: Why will they not hate working under women, when it is a whole lot easier to manipulate a male boss. Female bosses are firm, they are women too...so they know all the tricks in the book. I have worked with both, my current is female, I know the difference
The woman is callous, but she isn't callous? One problem I have with women who always paint another woman bad...THEY ARE NEVER THE PROBLEM, IT IS ALWAYS THE OTHER WOMAN.
It is easy for a woman to be independent, it's not rocket science. It is only easier to depend on a man.
It is insecurity baby you are not entirely correct there. But you are not wrong either . If it isn't rocket science, why is one in every 100 independent? I don't know about others but it isn't about insecurities for me... I'm too proud and condescending sometimes. I'm sure you know that. Imagine my type as my wife.. Wahala go dey plenty. So I rather go with those semi-dependent ladies. I particularly detest leeches under the name gf... |

pocohantas: C'mon keep kwayet So, every independent lady is bossy? It is not an easy task for a lady to be independent. When that happens, they puff up with pride. They begin to walk with their shoulders raised and their nose looking up to heaven. Such pride leads to arrogance. Younger dependent girls are always their target. They heap all manner of bossy attitudes on these young girls. Most females hate working under women. A friend was to transfer to a new department but unfortunately for her the hod was ill and a the next authority which happen to be a woman became interim. She didn't go to her saying the woman is callous and that she would wait for the man to become well again. Power intoxicates women more. And more money brings more power. It isn't about insecurities as you termed. But more about avoiding troubles. I'm a simple person. I can't be fighting who will cook in the kitchen because she buys the food. I don't have power to fight and argue Although work persona might be different from a persons personality, such bossy trait can not be overly obliterated. |

pocohantas: Typical Naija man, buys respect[submission] with his money. Without money, most of you all will be very useless and insecure.
In fact you all should stop complaining of gold digging Naija ladies...they are the perfect fit for lots of you. Poco baby, unfortunately money brings respect irrespective of gender. Some of us guys can smell a gold digger from a distance. Having worked under women, I don't think I can ever let a bossy lady have my surname. It's become natural for men to marry down and women to marry up. When the opposite happens, there's a greater likelihood of the marriage going south than the otherwise |

ultron12345: the same council responsible for medicine accreditation is also responsible for dentistry. Mbbs and bds do same courses for the first years of their programmes, so if MBBS lost accreditation because of those, BDS will also loose accreditation. Google vacancies for CMDs of Nigerian teaching hospitals, you'll see the qualifications that candidates most be medical or dental practitioners with MBBS/BDS and a fellow of a postgraduate Medical College. Both doctors and dentists can be admitted to be fellow of West African college of surgeons and physicians. Even in civil service, both are on CONMESS. Pls, we MBBS and BDS holders are one.
Here's one:
The Management of University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital hereby invites applications from interested and suitably qualified candidates to fill the soon to be vacant position of the Chief Medical Director (CMD) University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital
Position: Chief Medical Director (CMD)
Requirements: Interested candidates must have the following qualifications: Candidates must be Medical, or Dental Practitioners registered with the Medical and Dental; Council of Nigeria of not less than Twelve (12) years post qualification; Candidates must be fellows of either the National Postgraduate Medical College or its equivalent register-able by the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria; Candidates must have been Consultants for a minimum of five (5) years; Candidates must be medically fit; Candidates must be of proven good character and integrity; Evidence of Medical Research is an added advantage; Administrative qualification and experience is an added advantage; Knowledge of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is an added advantage. What if bds loses accreditation, will mbbs lose it too Now be sincere |

ultron12345: stop misinforming the public. Why are you trying to divide NMA. Dentists are highlyly respected members of NMA, they are not been discriminated against, they are not "boy, boy". In fact, medical doctors and dental surgeons see themselves as equal, theres no bad blood between the 2 professions. We are one. I finished from uniben. school of medicine lost accreditation and tests were ongoing.. Dentistry was still accredited but they couldnt continue cos their master lost accreditation. Dental students protested but to no avail. They had to succumb and join medical students in protesting against the school managements. Too bad for dentist. One question. Can a dentist be the CMD of a hospital? |

kolawoleibukun2: am just hearing this for the first time o. Optometrists are not licensed to operate, for real! Hmmmmm am shocked oh. but if the FG tasks Optometrists to reduce blindness, does it mean that they will now be licensed or is it an oral task? even if they task Optometrist does it alleviate their dependence on nma? abi them just day pit Optometrist against nma? optometrist are not under the umbrella of nma.. They are an independent organisation. Optometrist chose johesu over nma. Dentists in nma are like "boy boy" to general practitioners.. Optometrists didn't want that. I think what fg meant by tasking optometrist to reduce blindness is for optometrists to create more awareness for PREVENTABLE AND AVIODABLE causes of blindness and to impede the progress of blindness through diagnostic techniques and examination. My point is ministry of health is under the leadership of an nma member. For an nma member to recognize optometrists as the first line of defense against ocular issues (e. g blindness) is surprising. Some Optometrists outside Nigeria are licensed to carry out simple procedures or operations that don't go beyond the anterior part of the eye. But you know, nma have fought relentlessly for that not to happen in Nigeria. Optometrists are supposed to be in FRSC to test drivers before they are given drivers license but nma and some bad eggs in optometry hijacked it.. There is currently a brain drain towards the Middle East. Go to LinkedIn and search for optometrist with Nigerian names..you will see that most are working in the Middle East. |

kolawoleibukun2: optometrist and Ophthalmologist na the same eye doctor na. it depends on the severity of the eye problem. and are you saying that they tried? haba my guy. how dem take try? does anyone of them visit any ophthalmologist or optometrist in Nigeria? No one of them will submit his eyes for Nigerian Optometrist to operate. But is that not something way dem suppose to day fight for to improve the standard of care in Nigeria? How dem take try? optometrists are not licensed to operate. They shouldn't even. There's so much work in primary eye care sef. When I said they tried, I meant an nma led administration gave optometrist the sole responsibility of preventing blindness.. It's an acknowledgement of them as primary eye care practitioners.. Nma fights with everyone. They think they are the God of health industry... That's y this came as a shock. Although, I feel there is something that isn't obvious. In the health sector, no one trusts nma and it's council. They may try to act good but theres always something hidden |
Health › Re: FG Tasks Optometrists To Reduce Rate Of Avoidable Blindness by boiz2men(m): 8:46am On Jun 30, 2018 |
ultron12345: why won't there be high rate of blindness when optometrists refuse to do what they were trained for, rather, they want to do the work of opthamologists. Only in Nigeria you'll see optometrist carrying out surgery. Silly people, it shall not be well with JOHESU. are you talking out of hearsay or experience? Where in Nigeria do opt carry out surgery? Why are you lying to feel good about yourself? Ophthalmologists are secondary health care providers but they want to do the job of a primary eye care practitioner. Ophthalmology should be concerned with corrective surgeries and pathological issues beyond the scope of the primary eye care practitioner. Ophthalmology has no business in refraction. Go tell your friends |

kolawoleibukun2: na to task Optometrists? Where is the research centers that they provided for Optometrists? Which school in Nigeria can boast of being a standard institution for educating Optometrists? they should task themselves. what really causes blindness, na Optometrists? stop the cause of blindness and there will be no need to task anybody. no equipment for Optometrists in government hospitals. no Optometrists has achieved any appraisal or award for excellence. but Genevieve and Aki and Pawpaw have. task the people you give awards to provide the services you seek. all the politicians children way school abroad none of them fit go Havard cos they cannot buy their way in. they have no brains to make the score or criteria. why una children no day return come become Optometrists? go and task una children. misplaced priorities make una open standard hospitals like the one way una day go for london for Optometrists. the bad food and pollution and suffering na day cause the rise in blindness. many blind people have good genes in their families. bro, are you an optometrist?
