NBA? I LOVE THIS GAME

My 2nd love after football.

My teams? Dallas Mavericks, San Antonio Spurs, Phoenix Suns and Miami Heat

Players? They are just too many!

Shaq, T-Mac, Amare Stoudamire, Nowitzky, Nash, Ben Wallace, Jermaine Oneal, Duncan, Rip Hamilton, Webber, Manu Ginobli.

There is this guy, Penny, Afernee Hardaway. Wonder where he is now, I love him too. cool

Oga has it ever occured to you that:

at a time Arsenal was unbeaten and couldn't make any impact in Europe

United was crushing all oppositions in England and fumbling in Europe.

Chelsea can be beating any team in England because this is their own era but we are talking about Europe this time around.

Chelsea in no match for Barca ANYDAY ANYTIME!

So Oga, I hope ur heart is beating normally now coz I am sure you would have suffered some bouts of attack yesterday. Pele so ti gbo! tongue

Sorry Oga Kola, you have been doing all the talk for the loud mouth (Mourinho) all these days. But yesterday was a time Chelski had no hiding place. Maybe without the red card Barca would have been merciless.   tongue

Let's face fact, if Messi had not jumped, Del Horno would have sent him straight to an hospital, so to me the card is DESERVED!

Family › Even Decent Ladies Sleep With At Least 3 Men? by bolaoni(op): 4:28pm On Feb 21, 2006
A cousin of mine was telling me of what transpired in church last week.

A lady that was wickedly infected with HIV by her husband shocked was brought to share her experience with everybody in church
and what she said was that the whole world has turn promiscuous. That no lady can be trusted any longer (mine excluded sha), she now made the statement that all the ladies are doing it, even those in church shocked And that those that that claim to be descent would have slept with like 3 men! I was shocked to hear that embarassed

My first question was where she got the statistics from. Though I have been taught not to trust anyone but I know some descent ladies who have NEVER tasted it before talk less of been laid by 3 men shocked

What do you think guys? Do you think there are still ladies you can vouch for? if you are lady what do you say to this?
Family › Re: Should A Woman Be Pregnant for Her Fiance Before Marriage? by bolaoni(m): 4:09pm On Feb 21, 2006
Olu Abuja:
Na wa o for this kain talk.

Recently i had that my younger brother (37yrs) just kicked out his fiancee because she did not get pregnant within the last 4months of 2005. They have been dating for 2 years and i guess they must have chopped the forbidden fruit.

Men, i was angry and called him in Lagos (Lagos boys are always trying to be smart) to rebuke him strongly. He totally refused to take the girl back. He said age is no more on his side and he couldn't afford to be messed arround for too long by the girl.

Another case is an older cousin of mine. Very rich guy who married a pretty lady from Ebute Metta. I remember that the wedding reception was held at the National Arts Thearter in Lagos. After a few months of marriage, it was discovered that the lady did not have a womb. My cousin was devastated and had to be coming to my house to cry everyday. Of course that marriage crashed and this my big cousin has not openned his heart to another woman since that time.

MAY GOD HELP ALL OF US.
Olu thank God you are married o. If you are not, what would you have done? Gone with ur Jnr or what? This is really a case of confusion break bone.

As for me, no tasting o. There is nothing to taste. Do U all want to know what my lady used to say? "Dis thing is for you 4ever, so U've got to wait for the time you can have it all to urself!

If she can't get pregnant for me after then, I will leave everything to God.

A Pastor's wife was barren for over 10 years of marriage. I was in their church when she was encouraging other women with one problem or the other. That was November but just some few weeks, she was giving testimony of her taking in to the delight of everybody.

Been barren or infertile or sterile or whatever biological or scientific name you want, is not the end of the world. wink wink wink

One truth about all Chelsea fans are that they have no locus standi!

Let me ask how many of you guys hailing Chelsea now were Chelsea's fan about 3 or 4 seasons ago. Bloody ashewos. You were all attracted to Chelsea when Abrahomovic started his spending spree because you always want to be on the winning side. I am sure if another team rises now, you will move along singing their praises.

If you want to take me on on this, I'm ready for ya all. Tell me when did you start following Chelsea? Yeye tongue
Sports › Re: Will Arsenal Shine Again? by bolaoni(m): 4:17pm On Feb 15, 2006
Watching that game again Liverpool is sickening. Imagine a whole Henry looking like a passenger on the field of play. Adebayor tried but couldn't find his bearing as well.

I only noticed Pires on the field of play when he was substituted shocked

The mistake of selling Viera is so grave that Arsenal will continue to pay for it even into next season if they don't buy a QUALITY player.

I wonder what Wenger means by his C & S when most of their passes were going to the opponent. Abeg did they even play any corner kick? At a point I was seeing 13 - 0 for corners shocked. That should be C & S abi?

Bros,

Sorry for not participating in your last two quiz. Apart from them being difficult, I have been quite busy.

I will like to send in some questions for you to use but that may not be immediate.

Well Answers to the quiz now:

1) Me think there are two Oga in the NFSC now; the Chairman and the President General. Chairman in Alh. Yusuf Adenrele and The PG is Chief Rafiu Ladipo.

2) The songs?

a) Once Naija is in trouble we hear:

"Sha ma sin wa lo'

Sha ma sin wa lo,

Oluwa sha ma sin wa lo
" cheesy cheesy cheesy

b) Another trouble-oriented song:

"He is a miracle working God

He is a miracle working God

He's the Alpha and Omega,

He is a miracle working God
"

c) But when there is a narrow escape we all hear:

"Baba ti ba wa se,

Baba ti ba wa se o,

Ohun to nja wa laya,

Baba ti ba wa se
"

Sports › Re: 2006 Nations Cup: Coach Eguavoen To Stay? by bolaoni(m): 11:59am On Feb 10, 2006
Actually, me think it is definitely not all about victory or the defeat, it is all about the manner in which both were achieved.

Most of the games we won were done unconvincingly and the defeat? SHAMEFUL. If we had lost galantly, nobody will be complaing, but how can we wun without putting up a fight? That is the most ridiculous of it all. Did our boys come to the field with the mind that CIV has carried the day?

Just watch that game again and see my own point of view.

Nija see how u guys are finishing the boys as if theses same weaknesses have not been prevalent through out the competition.
Thank you Pretty. I wonder at times what is wrong with us as a nation. We celebrate mediocrity to high heavens until we get disappointed. It was very obvious that our stay in the ACN is jus a matter of time, yet we carried on as if all was well. I was just watching where this will take us and as today seem to be that D-Day. tongue

A more productive Cameroun couldn't beat CIV how much more our disorganised team. Come to think of it, did we even have any biz playing in this stage of the competition? Look at the manner our boys were playing! As if there was nothing t stake. A gmae we started on a poor note and couldn't even raise the tempo at all. Cameroun's game against CIV wasn't that interesting but today's own is WORST!

God will help us sha
Sports › Re: Jay Jay Okocha and World Best Player Award by bolaoni(m): 12:47pm On Feb 07, 2006
This would have been a better argument if it was started years ago. But personally I think the mistake Okocha made that really affected his career, is his decision to go to Turkey. That ruined all the chances he had to become a great player.

He was a budding talent who should have gone where his game will be helped to grow, but he decided otherwise and headed to a country that cannot be given attention when the issue of club football is being discussed. He shot himself in the leg and he couldn't get his game up again. From PSG, Okocha should have gone to a bigger club or if he couldn't secure one, should have gone to a club that is on the same level with PSG, but Alas! He decided otherwise. At times I wonder if this players have good advisers at all. huh
Sports › Re: Nigeria Vs Cote d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast) by bolaoni(m): 11:40am On Feb 07, 2006
The Ivoriens didn't come to play against Cameroun. Their negative football pissed me off that day. I hope they play game against us and we will show them pepper.

Also think Cameroun was kindda lukewarm in that game, Etoo came to enjoy himself on the field of play and not to win. They paid dearly for that mistake.

Web Market › Re: How To Advertise Your Website Without Spamming? by bolaoni(m): 6:50pm On Feb 03, 2006
demmy:
Why are people still wasting time making personal sites? Nobody visit static personal sites anymore. If you have something to say get a blog, say something useful and there is your ad. Or if you have interesting forum site (like Nairaland) or CMS (like nigerianbloggers etc) or news site (e.g nigeriaworld) Outsides of these, personal static sites wont get you traffic.
Of what use is a blog when it is not know? Do people visit sites they don't know exist? huh

brushparke:
Well if you are not in a hurry for attention, getting your site noticed is not too difficult.
The truth is i have been able to generate quite an encouraging traffic to my knew site
www.hostportfolio.com through search engines. Not just vistors. I am actually selling.
Apart from pay per click advertising,
which is capital intensive, i think search engines are where you should concentrate
your efforts. The fact still remains that 70%-80% of website traffic come from search
engines. So to get enough attention, start while designing your site. That is, make your site
search engine friendly.
I have done this to my knew site and i am not regreting. The site is just about 2 months old.
It took about 3 weeks for it to become indexed in The major search engines and i am even suprised
at the number of unique visits it receives daily.Soon i'll redesign all my sites to be search engine
friendly.
You can also get targeted traffic from forums like www.nairaland.com.But here
you have to be careful and must not go against the rules of the forum.Let your contributions
be well researched and soon you'll add reputation to marketting.
Then newspaper adverts in your niche area is also very efficient. But these are more expensive
options.
Brush, visited hostportfolio and checked the meta tags, what is your ranking on the search engines? I think this is very important in getting SE traffics. But I believe you've got a good strategy going on there.

Well, IMO, I used free means to get visitors to my website. I run a motivational website and the traffic has been encouraging. I write a lot of articles and do some online Joint Ventures with website owners in my niche. I have several websites linking to my website and they drive FREE traffic to my site anyday any time without me spending a dime. Article writing is easy and a long-term means of getting known online.

If you want to get quick traffic then it has to be through PPC and several paid adverts.

I hope this helps.
