This is the bone of contention. It is untrue according to you this i a matter of public record

please provide a source for this.

You are insecure and petty that is why you feel a need to belittle.Of what relevance is it whether it is a Nigerian or Togolese.

Again to back up your bullshit you introduce another lie. Bottomline is you are talking about things you do not understand.
Some Native Americans receive some entitlements under specified circumstances. It does not discriminate "half -caste" or not that is rubbish.

Those entitlements do not accrue to every Native American wherever they are and they are not "compensation" you need to check the legal meaning of that word and not because "They are the landlords" of America as you claim e.g . The cicumstances vary from place to place and these are often payments or projects or other entitlements to communities rather than individuals. A Native American living in Brooklyn does not get payments for life that is just rubbish .On the other hand if he was living in designated "reserves" would receive some government aid or entitlement whether they are half caste or not. This came about not because they are landlords but because they were often very poor and disadvantaged and White America felt guilty about their plight not unlike Almajiri schools etc. Are we to say Almajiri schools are "compensation"?
Nigerians have weird sense of reasoning as is the case here, which is why I said what I said in the first place. Also, I know not all Indians get compensation which is why I stressed on the "native". like I said I am assuming a Nigerian would know what that meant. Every native Indian gets compensation for life.

I do not need to rebut any thing it is a fundamental part of discourse if you introduce "facts" that you have a responsibility to substantiate them

Ei incumbit probatio qui dicit, non qui negat

It is incumbent on he who declares to prove not on he who disputes.

Give us a source for public records for your claim that all native Americans are "compensated for life"

asapeola:
Q: Do native Americans recieve compensation from the US govt?

A: No, American Indians DO NOT receive compensation from the US Government. However, the US Government has a TRUST RESPONSIBILITY to American Indians and as the Trustee, collects revenue earned from land, minerals, water, etc. on behalf of *some* individual American Indians and *some* tribes. *Not all.* The US Government then distributes the money (which is the NDN's money to begin with) back to those NDNs for whom it was collected. Again, this does not apply to all American Indians, just those who have retained their land, mineral, water rights through treaty AKA a "contract."
I forget that I am talking to a Nigerian. When we say native we mean 100 percent indian. not half caste. Full Native American. Hence the emphasised on "native". what do you think the funds given to trustees are used for? first you said I lied, now you've Googled and seen facts you are now saying i am right but not completely. Sometimes Google is not your friend. You have to live it to understand it.

That way you will learn how to do elementary research
Fact: I have two Native Indian friends.

Fact: The information I just provided is well documented in public records for all Americans to access.

Fact: you've just exposed your ignorance. You haven't disproved anything. Your method of rebuttal is hurling insults. Sad.

That will be the beginning of the end
It is a well known fact that the Native Indians were the original inhabitants of America. Through might and sheer force of will the original settlers dislodged the Indians and transformed America to what it is today. But here's one thing America got right; if you are a native Indian you get compensated for the rest of your life because Indians are the landlords of America.

The Nigerian government needs to take a queue from this. The natives of the Niger delta need to be compensated for owning the land from which the whole country benefits. I am not from Niger delta.

I believe in Buhari!
After 100 days? What you want to say is "after 4 years". Listen to most of fela's songs. what has been happening didn't just start with Jonathan. It has been going on for decades. It is not possible to correct the nation's problems in 4 years since the nation's problem is mostly psychological. That is more harder to fix. Nigerians think our problem is infrastructural. Nope, it's mostly psychological. Most Nigerians have a deranged sense of reasoning. You can't bring change to people with cavemen mentality.

Pets › Re: The Smart And Trained Snake We Killed by Bollinger(m): 3:30pm On May 28, 2015
Fraih:
It was like a movie this evening when this strongheaded snake crawled into my room. I unconsciously dropped the call I was on and ran for a big stick,
Thanks to my friend who was around and noted the snake's spot and we started the attack, even when I pinned the belly to the wall with the long stick, and my friend trying to crush the head with another long stick, this snake was actually fighting us back and dodging every hits, and threatening us with its tongue.. .. I mean, that snake was so smart and trained (if it actually was) because it took us Time to actually get the head, even when the other parts were hit and the belly pinned to the wall, it still struggled and fought_ didn't give up. I was almost pitying it sef, it was like a seasonal movie o and we were sweating just to get the head
But alas! It was down and I say thank God I saw the snake and thank God it wasn't hiding under the chair or something, that would be catastrophic living with a snake.
You killed a green garden snake. They aren't poisonous.

I double dare u bro....there r safe cities in Nigeria
Test 1; can you call the police on your phone and they'll be there in 15 minutes?

Test 2; can you build a house without constructing a 7 foot wall around your house?

Test 3; can you install windows and doors without installing barricades that make your home look and feel like prison?

Test 4; can you avoid not reading about monthly occurrences of jungle justice?

Test 5; can you go out to buy gas or shop after 12 midnight?

If your answer is no to any or all of these then my brother, Nigeria is not safe.

wtf?!

But can't really blame him tho.. there are many like this who were not fortunate enough to gain admission. and even after gaining admission, factors like inadequate funds, strike and all that elongated their stay in school. By the time its time for service they're over 30.
Some would go ahead and 'reduce' their age while Some would simply decide to forgo the whole nysc ish. Later, they discover most companies require nysc cert as part of their recruitment qualifications as is the directive of the FG or that they pay 'NYSC-less' workers lower than others...So they decided to go back and get the nysc cert..when their mate have finished theirs long long ago...by then they're way way above 30 if not 40 sef..

Can't blame them sha

(and they're usually the ones who don't intend to be self employed tho)
True story; I did not attend university and I did not even do a Hnd programme. I did what you would call a Higher Diploma programme. This means that after graduation you will not be allowed to serve in the NYSC. This is the strange part of the story. I have worked in two multinational companies ( BAT inclusive ), two quality home base firms and also set up my own company. All in Nigeria at the time. Guess what a lot of my friends who went to universities were doing at the time? they were searching for jobs. They used to ask me how I was doing it? I was changing jobs like someone does boxer shorts. I tried explaining to them my schooling started way back when I was like 3 years old. I had a degree in sesame street, comic bookology, cartoons, movies (not nollywood thank God) etc, basically my mentality was different from childhood. my first Nigerian boss wanted someone who could mix with big dogs and converse with expatriates and big wigs; ever had a conversation with an average Nigerian? believe me, it's very tasking. My friends just couldn't understand that it takes more than book knowledge to be successful in life. The Nigerian youth need to learn and understand this concept. Employers need adaptability and a refined thought process more than they need your book answer/knowledge.

In a normal capitalist society, fuel subsidy does not and should not exist. America pumps oil massively and it's citizens don't enjoy that kind of perk. Market forces determine price hence the term capitalism. Of course Nigerians don't understand that; they want to have their cake and eat it as well. Stup.id people.
