You people still believe in the occult in 2016 and you all wonder what is holding you back as a people and as a country. smh

In Nigeria, a 20 year old man is still considered a boy. Smh. Suffer no go kill una. In normal countries with normal people, a 20 year is already out of his parents wings and doing incredible things. I tire for una.

In the past, the best hospitals and schools were owned and run by churches who charged next to nothing for quality service.

The beneficiaries was not restricted to church members or fellow Christians but every human being who walked into the premises.

Nowadays it is a totally different ball game strictly for the rich with some phantom scholarships.
The topic is ridiculous. There is a reason why countries have decided to separate religion from the state. The OP is talking like there is only one religion in Nigeria. Muslims and babalawos would have grounds based on his argument.

Bro if we tax all religious outfit revenue we as a country will get over 5 trillion per year... This will bridge budget deficit and end recession
You are confusing revenue with utilization. Have you forgotten that Nigeria is abundant with oil? It does not matter how much you can make. What matters is how you use it. Nigeria is one of the most corrupt countries in the world and because of that it is doomed. Even if the streets were littered with gold, Nigeria would still be poor because it's people are inherently corrupt. Ask yourself why countries like Germany and Japan who don't have oil prosper.

Good question. The only problem is Nigerians in Nigeria are not normal human beings so normal human rights don't apply. You all still believe in archaic traditional beliefs so enjoy the benefits.

Nigerians have no respect for animals and nature. This is why we are eating the fruits of our bad karma.

When we learn to treat those below us with respect , then only shall we be given the same trestment from those above us.

Why else do you think ebola struck west africa? The Gods wanted to punish us for the excessive bush meat trade we have been indulging in which decimated most of our wildlife. (Now atleast I hope some nations have enough sense not to consume those animals.)

The reason being our mentality is shaped by our savage upbringing and environment. also we have lost touch with nature and our ancestral spirituality.

we have become animals in human skin.

you even have some religions teaching our children to step on serpents, etc.

I have another special request to Nairaland Mods. please dont post threads of hunted animals on fp. You only encourage this savagery further. pythons, crocodiles, deer etc. lets just let them live in peace.

We are losing all our wildlife and forests. What will we show our children?

Nature is more important than any issue in this country. be it govt. people etc. without nature we are as good as DEAD.
Calm down bro. You made good points until you advocated for his death. It basically says you don't value lives as well.

This is not a matter of culture. Homosexuality has been in existence since before jesus christ. There are millions of gays in Nigeria but are afraid of persecution which is why they keep it to themselves. Plus gay people are as productive as you and I. There are millions of people who use apple products, meanwhile the C.E.O of apple is gay. Why don't they stop using his products if his sexual orientation offends them? The computer you are typing on was advanced by a gay man. Why don't you stop using it? Google Alan Turing and you will understand. He is the father of computer science as we know it today. As long as you benefit from them no problem right?

Pointing out an error is judging. How do u know there is an error? nd how would u want me to know there is if there isnt one standard for right nd wrong

Yea having sex now does nt mean i think its right.
Religion. That is another story entirely. Judging someone based on your belief. What if i don't believe in what you believe. This is the reason terrorists are making waves today. You need to change this mentality of yours. Live and let live. I guarantee if all your fetish cravings are exposed, you will not be saying what you are saying now. You say having sex is wrong but you do it anyway. I am baffled as to how you don't see the hypocrisy in that statement.

That is what is wrong with you all. The hypocrisy. You people are just animals. What business is it of yours as to who anyone sleeps with? It is always funny to me when Nigerian attempt to be the symbol of morality. If you all were that moral, the country would not be a cesspit today. Smh.

U have to understand there is a difference btw judging and condemning honey

To judge is to declare that something or a behaviour is right or wrong for u or the society.
Everyone judges almost everything in this world everytime. As long as u use discretion nd employ logic everytime u will automatically judge everything.

Nd u know, u re judging my post lready smiley

To condemn is to declare someone irredeemable nd deserving of punishment. And thats the work of the law.

Let the law take its full course in all cases.

As per ur question about me being bothered about people judging me. Its humane to judge. Even i judge my actions too. But smetimes i dont do whar i think is right; that does not mean i dont recognise right or wrong.

What is right is right and wrong is wrong and the universal standard of right nd wrong wont change notwithstanding how i feel sometimes.
What exactly is wrong about what she did. Having sex? And i am not judging you. I am pointing out a clear error in your stance about judging another another person. You've had sex before haven't you? So what makes you better than her?

Whatever is the right term dear. Tired of people who judge others for judging. If we dont judge, how do we keep an upright society?

Lets keep it real; everyone is free to criticise whatever how much they want.
That is the issue. You are not supposed to judge anyone dear because we all fall short at one point in time or another. The concept of freedom and liberty, is to live your life free of the standards of others as long as what you do does not harm me or the society. People who judge others are often hypocrites. Unless you are appointed a judge, you cannot judge another person. I am going to assume some things now to buttress my point. I will assume you are single and have had sex before and are currently sexually active. I guarantee you that there are people out there who would judge you negatively for that. I don't see anything wrong with it but like i said some people will. How would you like being judged in this instance?

Your problem is the problem a lot of Nigerians have and face. Lack of exposure. Until you explore other societies, you will never comprehend the full extent as to how phucked up everything about Nigeria is. Nigeria cannot be on the top 1000 list not to talk of the top 100. Accra, tallin, Riga, etc, are not on the list but Lagos is. Ok. I hear una. A city that is unbelievably dirty, ugly and dilapidated. Where nothing functions. Lol. To you, it may be the best thing since fried rice, but i assure you, it is absolutely horrible to say the least. Just because a bunch of people who don't know Lagos or ever been there are saying it is a great city does not mean it is. Smh

Which is why i will keep on saying Nigerians do not know how to operate any kind of vehicle or pov. It is unfortunate that the deceased made the decision to sleep under a vehicle but it could have been avoided. It is standard practice to honk your horn before moving a vehicle that weighs more than 5 tons. Nigerians would know this if they actually went to standard driving schools before getting a drivers license. Just because you can drive does not mean you know how to drive.
