How is nobody talking about Maguire performance. He was shockingly bad I was surprised. To many misplaced passes and lack of concentration. A 5yard pass to Bruno, he played it to throw in.

Tactical Masterclass from Sir Ole. All substitution was spot on.

The key for me was the Matic Sub. That pass is underrated. He was the one with a delicious pass thru the lines into Lingard in a dangerous position. That was the sub along with Lingard obviously that won us the game.

English refereeing needs an inquiry. They couldn't look at the monitor on any of the three Ronaldo penalty calls but called one on Shaw for something they said they wouldn't this year. He's a yard away and stretching for the ball, should he just not have hands?

Ronaldo went down too easily today at times. I think that influenced the ref decision not to give him anything.

I think Fred's problem might be his short legs.

Fred gets a lot of stick and rightly so but it wasn't just him today. Bruno gave the ball away a lot today AND his legs went around the 70 minutes

Pogba was poor. Spent most of the match roaming around the pitch looking for his best position. AWB was lost too.

You read but you don't understand...With Chelsea, you see a team that has a style of play and are complete in every area of the pitch and most importantly have a very good coach.

If we get a red card at Anfield, I am sure you guys will jump on that excuse for whatever the outcome of the game is but we saw Chelsea with a man down still threatening Liverpool something that Ole's Manchester United can never do...

But we didn't see Chelsea 1:0 up at home against West Brom with a red card and still get flogged silly conceding 5 goals with the same manager. They had a good day against a toothless Liverpool.

the team he started would have won the game, no doubt about that. however, I'm of the opinion that you play your finest 11 and rest players after qualification (or the result) must have been sealed.
for that particular game, Dalot for Sancho (or Ronaldo) is still ok and the team saw out the first half. no complains.
based on the game dynamics, there was absolutely no reason for a back five switch. it's absurd because that leaves three midfielders to shield the back.
Pogba was giving the ball away constantly, the sensible thing is to take him out and not VDB who was just about the best player in the first half.
Pogba out for Matic, and retain a 4-4-1 diamond like shape. Fred and Bruno has the engine, the four in midfield can retain possession and Fernandes can easily support the lone man upfront when we break.
defensively we force them to attack from wide and their cross quality was subpar anyways.
Greenwood can come in for the lone guy upfront later in the game.
when you go a man down, you leave or introduce that player that the opposition know will take his opportunity if they sleep. that way you give them something to think about and not just pour forward to bombard you constantly.

Wrong in my opinion. You cannot take out Pogba who is the best long passer in the team especially when you are going to be sitting deeper. He is the only one who can create from deep . Ole always keeps his best players cause they can produce a moment of magic at any time which is understandable. Going to a back 5 was not the problem.

Football is not pure Mathematics. This is not the first time an underdog will be beaten a top team but the manner it was done is appaling. Why setup the team so defensive just because of a goal down. Major upset like this is not new, it doesn't mean the team can't go on to reach the later stage of champions league.

NB: Ole is solely to be blame for this our loss as he made the wrong substitution thinking he was making the best substitution he could have made.

So out of curiosity what substitution would you have made in that situation or which personal would you have brought in and who would you have removed? Could you elaborate on how you would have lined up yesterday after that red.

Fernades is going to get fatigued if this coach doesn't rest him. Pogba, Van De Beek, Lingard, and Sancho can all play his position, not to mention we can always switch things up to accommodate for some absence. Ole is not showing the tactical flexibility you would like

It's too early to start talking about fatigue and resting players just 5games into the season.
