Travel / Re: Visa Rejection: What To Do When Your Application Is Denied? by born2begreat(m): 3:02pm On Feb 17, 2023 |
Visa rejection shouldn’t be end of life and i learnt my lesson in 2010. I stopped living and having a mindset of a typical Africa man. When an Africa person aiming at something either an interview, pursuing a project, visa application etc we always have our mind on single outcome which is “positive”. That when a friend or someone ask “what if you don’t get the visa, the project, the job”. They will be like God forbid, I reject in Jesus Name because of our Africa mentality. Back to 2010, i was doing a part time program in LASU and was in 200L that time. So i took this uncalculated risk of putting all my savings in applying for UK visa. I was not given the visa i was given an appeal but couldn’t file the appeal. I tried to defer my admission for another year for me to gather myself but my letter was rejected because i was asked to pay certain amount of the school fees. Man had to start life afresh in 2010 and since then i always expect 2 outcomes in whatever i’m pursuing. If it’s positive it’s good for me, if it’s negative it’s still a lesson and never let that weigh me down from not moving. PreacherTemi: 10 Likes |

I’m using this moment to beg anyone trying to japa kindly learn a skill it’ll help you and make sure you do research yourself it’s so sad for Nigeria brothers suffering [/quote] I have a friend currently in Bahrain he went there on the 6th of this month but he’s been planning to return to the country. He was in Dubai for 3yrs before he came home in March this year hoping to find a better country like Europe to go. But all the links he was waiting for didn’t come and he was just spending money and roaming the street for like 5 months. So he decided to try his luck in Bahrain so at least he can find himself doing something and earning rather than sleeping. But what’s currently facing is different from what he planned before leaving. They said Bahrain no longer convert visit visa to working visa again since he entered with visit visa. Even the people he met there has not gotten job for months and that alone is not encouraging him to keep pushing as he does not have much with him. The only skill he has is cleaning job, he used to do general cleaning and fumigation here. I don’t know if you can help me talk to your India agent if there is anything he can do to help my friend. He’s not a lazy type he’s a very hardworking, smart, straightforward and very friendly. Please help a brother 14 Likes |

My brother, please skip that degree for now and go for any programming language and believe me you will never regret doing it. The most sweetest stuff about IT is you keep improving and expanding your knowledge. You can still go for that degree in future but with IT skills i don't really think you MUST have the degree. Wizkid is a good artist but there is limitation to his songs and whom you compare him to. Someone asked me why i am not a Wizkid fan or listening to his songs, of cause i have 2 to 3 songs of his on my phone. So when i listed the kind of Artist and songs i love to this guy he knew already that i love songs with messages and very sound. I love listening to Akon, Tupac, Fela, Bob Marley, 9ice, Michael Jackson etc. That was how some f0ools comparing Wizkid to the great Fela... SMH #arifin |

I have never come across one here i thought too they NL is full of dullard and mannerless youths with the way they talk and respond to post. Anyways, i would love to meet one influential who can change my life to better. I currently work in a private company and the pay is less than 45k monthly. If there’s anyone who can get an internship work that has to do with IT and programming so i can be learning and earning. And if it’s another salary job that the pay is okay i don’t mind. This my post is for Nairaland Influentials not for scammer, Ponzi referral or anything. Thank you |

Can you use your sense when commenting on a post here because you don't know who is who. This post might be something that's giving someone depression or a home unrest you have to respect the poster in respective of her age. We have people that are enough to be our fathers or mothers here don't think this page is full of senseless underage people like you. I would urge the poster to see a gynecologist you may finally see help there. Crimrburster: 1 Like 1 Share |
Programming / Re: Why Most Beginners Quit Programming by born2begreat(m): 10:12am On Jan 28, 2021 |
Thank you for this advice and this is exactly i have been trying to do. To establish my wife and get a source of income from either mini bus or Keke and that will give me time and the little money i need to concentrate and learn. I don't need to work in an organisation i can be working remotely and be earning good dough. I have some meetup group i used to go back then where we learn and talk about new development. There i can meet different people and get connected. Thank you for this advice JesusDWay: |
Programming / Re: Why Most Beginners Quit Programming by born2begreat(m): 1:48pm On Jan 27, 2021 |
I am also a victim of this and i think the problem with me that's not included in your write-up is "Distraction". I'm 37 just engaged, more responsibilities even i earn less than 45k monthly. I have learnt HTML, CSS3 using codecademy and freecodecamp, Wordpress, AWS solution architect, Python... I didn't complete learning all these because of distraction from myself or my family. I am the first child of my family, a breadwinner despite earning less i still don't like seeing them suffering. I know the only solution to my PROBLEM of having my full concentration of programming is to get a job as an intern but will be earning monthly even if it is just 20k while all i will be doing is learning and doing something. You can only be better and be improving at what you do everyday. Unlike this menial job i'm doing here from 7am to 5pm and get home everyday very tired. I still have thirst and passion for programming and i pray my problem is solved soon because it's paining me alot. May God help me 21 Likes |

Education / Re: Quitting Mbbs For Computer Programming. Way Forward? by born2begreat(m): 2:47pm On Dec 29, 2020 |
To me, he is making a nice decision but computer programming need more focus and might never give much room for time for much fun. Technology is taking over the world no doubt and as he is intelligent i believe he is going to do well and be successful. The good part of programming is there will always be another side programming to learn once he has had his feet on ground. I won't advice him to go to any Aptech or give them any unnecessary money he can learn every damn thing he needs to know while in his house with comfort. Firstly, he needs to know what he wants to learn, do research about it, the pay, the future, the certification, certification exam fee etc. Youtube or Udemy can make him a better programmer in whatever the field he chose. He should not look how lucrative or pay the field he is choosing is, but he should be focus on how to be a good programmer. Believe me, he will make it and he needs to start this before starting family so it would be easier for him to learn and acquire knowledge fast. All the best 4 Likes |

People that patronize this kololoan have mind o. They did exact same for one of my colleagues at work and another person like that because i received the exact text messages on two different occasions. When you are applying for this loan you need to be very careful of the type of information you agree for these set of hooligans to have access to. Like your contacts and BNV, these people sounds like Oshodi gangs and not professional, they can access your bank account if they can and wipe it off. These are the types of organisations that compiled all their customers contacts and sell them for another set of criminals who uses the contacts to perpetrate evils. The name "Soko" derived from Yoruba which means insane... So be careful of them 1 Like 1 Share |
Romance / Re: My Girl Replied Her Ex Boyfriend's Compliments Of The Season. Now She's Begging by born2begreat(m): 10:17am On Dec 21, 2020 |
I wanted to ask too. For a man to ever be happy in a relationship/marriage is not to ever monitor or get near your woman's phone. Women can't be monitored just do your responsibility as a man by respecting her, taking care of her, Bleep her good (pleasure not pain), take care of the bills at home. A sensible, well-trained, contented and intelligent woman that has all i mentioned from his man won't make any effort to cheat on that man. But above all, just pray to God to provide you with your own partner and that will never cause any form of agony during the journey Kriss216: |

Romance / Re: Avoid Single Moms If You Can! See Why by born2begreat(m): 11:23am On Dec 08, 2020 |
I thought i'm the only one with this thinking... There is absolutely nothing wrong with single mother they are one of the most reserved women if you are lucky to come across one. But i will never get married to a woman who still have access to his ex either through the child bond or whatsoever excuse. A single mother who has lost her husband or had a child through rape is still okay for me we would start our lives afresh and automatically owning the child. jubilantagida: 1 Like |

Why are you looking for age menopause and signs when you should just work on your pride and greed. If you don't work on your weaknesses there is a chance you married in future and still fall back either to single woman or single mother.
