Talibanis:@Talibanis the guy you recommended to me, how well do you know him? It seems to be a nice guy - just asking though |
What kind of nonsense is this. Are we in a Banana republic. Can't law enforcement officers do their work. She is only being interrogated and not prosecuted. What kind of stupidity do we show as a people |
davodyguy:Davo I want to ask you a question. I see a lot of people here complaining about not being able to view channels or dongles issues. I am about installing my 4.4m dish, hopefully next week. I want to know if I will experience similar issues. |
Let me give you some matured advice. First, is he the CEO/MD? Does he exercise the power to terminate your employment instantly? Regardless of these questions, your attitude counts. You have to work harder than your peers because any little mistake may result to instant termination. Act like you saw nothing and try to be friends with him and the secretary. Though, the secretary will act awkward due to her feminine tendencies. Be cool with your boss and act like he is a sharp man. If you succeed, you have made a long-life friend and possible progression on your career. |
Sometimes you wonder whether their legal counsel are out to milk them dry. Don't they give good legal advice |
Gawd, this is a damning report. There are a lot of corporate governance weaknesses, corrupt scandals and operational inefficiencies. The promoters should be blacklisted and not even allowed to managed any company in the country, whilst the corrupt public officers who assisted them should be prosecuted. If law enforcement officers cannot get them via corruption and bad management, they should be prosecuted for not filing for corporation tax. It is a criminal offense not to pay taxes. Jesus, what a country |
A rape is a criminal offense and must be proven beyond reasonable doubt. Her case has doubt, she should not have waited so long to report a rape case. Was there any struggle? Any scratch mark? Any semen? What she has is mere conversation |
I believe the Kenyan President said it rightly and he does speak for various African leaders. Africa has more pertinent issues than Gay rights. Africa need to deal with poverty, social infrastructure, power, corruption, security and its various economies before we can begin to consider less pertinent issues such as who to love or not. I also think it is wrong for America to impose or infringe on the rights of other countries with issues like this because I clearly know that at some point Gay rights were illegal and it just recently became legal in the U.S. So Obama please show some respect to the cultures, customs and values of the countries you visit, just like they do the same to yours when they come visiting. |
Good morning guys. I understand it is possible to track Astra 2f from Nigeria. Please can you guys help me out with procedures and the dish size. Also I would like to know if I can get the Sky UK channels if I track the Astra 2f satellite |
Jorussia:I wonder. He will only go for the best. |
kaorama:If he appointments, wailers will cry foul - if he does not appoint, wailers will still cry foul |
Please, where can I donate? |
We need to start mounting pressure on this man to run for second term. ![]() Buhari2019 |
Emekamex:He made it appear like the entire country is under siege which apparently does not appear to be so. To an outsider, Nigeria will appear to be in chaos. He would have limited his answer to the North East and considered answering how he intend to boost the economy. Remember part of his visit to the U.S. is to convince America investors to invest in Nigeria |
bestestgirl:He is African from Fulani descent. How do you expect him to speak? He speaks eloquently. Everybody has an accent. Your accent reveals where you are from. I will be shocked if Buhari starts speaking like an American |
Okay it was a good interview, but I didn't like the way he brushed past the question on the economy. I know security is a priority agenda, but the economy too is very paramount and should equally been given the same priority with security. Iran would soon start offloading its oil and they have a whole loads of it , this will further reduce oil price. If I am a serious foreign investor, I will not be confident with Buhari response on the economy, though I will keep checks and tabs on Nigeria progress. Buhari should also show more concern on how to revive our economy too. Apart from this obvious point, he did remarkably well. |
Laughs. When will people come to understand that you don't take material things to heaven or hell |
ajepako:Far from it. Let me tell you how the interview will go. She will recall her first interview with him as a Presidential Aspirant. She will ask the President on how he intends to tackle corruption, Boko Haram and the dwindling economy. So no biggie |
komek:This is not the first time he has been interviewed by Amanpour. Our President is a confident leader, have no fears |
I want him to go to court. His right was infringed upon. However, it may shock the public, the revelations the court proceedings may bring up. We all presumed that some people were playing and dancing with Boko Haram, maybe we may match that with facts. |
The president we have longed for. Make your predecessors envious and jealous. Let them know that material things and money are less than the admiration, praise and support one gains for being forthright, honest and ethical in all his doings. Sir, your every move is being admired by all. Even the U.S President knows you are a man of integrity. March on Buhari - we did not make a mistake during the elections. |
Sycophants and corrupt opportunists lurking everywhere |
Well let's all see how this plays out. It is a shame when public officers go all out to get their hands dirty. |
jaytee01:Does that fool know what an assault rifle is? |
Bluetooth2:His write up shows he lacked knowledge in that area or even knowing the tedious procedures involved in acquiring and obtaining the license. Then add 7 assault rifle to that process. The question you would be asked is - are you going to war? Purchasing assault rifle is a tedious and daunting task, except you smuggled it illegally. I presumed he cannot steal the ones being used by the military because it is accounted for. So when someone who lacks knowledge speak, you would know. I also know he lacks knowledge on the list price or purchase price for bulletproof vehicles or even luxury vehicles. The guy is just plain dumb. |
Yevgeny:He is truly delusional indeed. I read the post and I wondered if a human being living in Nigeria actually wrote it and someone was attributing him to be the best political analyst in nairaland. Does the idiot even know what a political analyst is? It is a shame he reasons the way he does |
Happiness87:For christsake he must be stupid to do such. This is not about politics, but the country. For many years we have been held in bondage by a few privileged idiots. I am not an APC supporter and I will not swallow nonsense because I want to promote a political party. |
nationwide1:I don't insult people, but you must be stupid. Have you seen an assault rifle before? Do you think it is normal to own 7 of them. Do you even know how much one cost? What is the nonsense with the justification here. Do you also think it is normal for a man to own 12 cars. Go and ask rich people who built their wealth themselves and not from stolen funds. Do you know how much a luxury bullet proof car cost? Do you think Dansuki can afford such given his short tenure as national security adviser? The DSS are investigating him on issues bigger than riffles and cars. |
ncoolsome:That is the basic thing we need and that was why he was voted in. Imagine youths supporting corruption and corrupt persons just makes you wonder if insanity has not taken over the country |
God when will you open the eyes of people and cleanse their brain of stupidity. We are talking about national treasury, some people are fighting over political parties. These are not monies of a political party, these are monies if properly utilized would have benefited the country. God has given us sense of reasoning. Our economy is bad not by magic, but because it was poorly managed. People stole and diverted funds. |
Happiness87:He should be ashamed to come out to defend him. I will forgive his stupidity, if he was writing for popularity contest or a show of fame because I cannot imagine that the poster possess brain cells to put up these arguments. |
francizy:If you consider that man the best political analyst on nairaland, then this place must be filled with fools. I read his write up and wondered what side of the bed did he wake up from. Your best political analyst claimed it is normal for him to have seven (7) assault riffles because he was NSA and had perceived enemies. First, does he know what an assault rifle is? It is not a typical mundane firearm carried around for protection. What about the armed soldiers in his house being paid to still protect him from these perceived enemies. Another gullible fool made mentioned that he was NSA and that he should be able to afford 12 luxury vehicles out of which, five (5) are bulletproof. For the record a bulletproof Lexus 4 runner cost 45 million naira. From the picture, I presumed some are Mercedes Benz and that should average 65 million naira. I can confidently tell you guys that no civil servant earns up to 45 million naira in this country, except you are into shady deals. Those were the arguments the DSS were trying to substantiate. I believe the DSS were not interested in his riffles or cars, but wanted to obtain evidences of some investigation they were conducting. However, they were shocked to discover the items listed. Based on this, I find it disheartening to find someone waking up in the morning to write rubbish all in the name of either arguing or trying to retain popularity or even perhaps just blinded by sentiments. |
