pedel:Don't call him corrupt if you have no evidence. However, you can say he is incompetent and incapable of running the affairs of Osun state because of the obvious breakdown of activities. He should either resign his position or be impeached. |
Chiefpriest1:Sometimes I wonder why would a Judge be corrupt. He is being taken care of by taxpayers. He pays no rent, gets allowances and being provided with security. What more can a man ask for other than his greed ruining him. |
@Talabanis I want to thank you for your kind gesture in introducing me to the satellite installer. However, I must express my displeasure with the way he handled the job. He is unprofessional and as I write this, he is yet to complete the job. I have paid him 93 percent of the entire fee and I also observed the poor materials he gave to me. He gave a strong decorder without power cord. He is yet to put the jack on the dish. He is also yet to connect the strong decorder to my bedroom and he also did not recharge the modern he gave to me. I am totally displeased. He informed me that I should pay him some part of the money because the guys he came with are not happy. I have given him 93 percent, should I give him everything without job completion. I am giving him till the end of this week to complete the job else him and his wife shall not sleep well in Egbeda where he resides and I don't mean using diabolical stuff. I shall give him no rest physically. I want you to inform him and I am not threatening him. I am disappointed and also told my Neighbour never to patronize him. He is very unprofessional and poorly organized. |
At this time, Buhari must do everything necessary to protect himself. History always find a way to repeat itself and like what Soyinka will say - when you fight corruption, corruption finds a way to fight back. They have disguised themselves to find a way to plead for mercy, sending emissaries and visiting to hold meetings at midnight. Let us not be fooled that these evil men do not have an alternative game plan. We must steadfast, pray and ensure God protect our president |
Trying to change the course of events. I think they will get their way |
Stangeneral:What truth did he say? Even the blind knew Buhari would win except the election was rigged. It was an obvious fact based on the poor performance of President Jonathan. So what Mbaka did was to speculate right and probably because he was ignored by the former president's wife turned his sermon to a campaign plea for Buhari. |
gidjah:If handled by an American scriptwriter, producer, and director, this could make a block-busting movie. Nollywood has only succeeded in elevating the perception of these fake self-proclaimed men of god to divinity status |
Oh what a stupid woman and there are many just like her. The answer to her problems actually was with her. The American company had production issues, hence could not supply her goods so she could sell, despite her working capital tied down as a result of payment to the American company. Why did she now resort to seeking help from self-proclaimed men of god? Did she deserve the treatment - I think so. Best Logical Behaviour - Follow-up on the American company to ascertain when production capacity can kick off or engage another company to provide a substitute product, or venture into another business temporarily to buffer declining income. What did she do - She stupidly seek spiritual assistance for a physical situation and she deservedly got what she bargained for. |
victorazy:You can imagine how she handed it over to God. She doesn't even know that if she sues the company, she might gain some financial advantage. |
Afam4eva:It is a huge problem. I also read someone post, a mad lady poured hot water on you, disfigured your body and you are surrendering the heartless lady who never thought of the consequences to God instead of reporting to the police and suing her for damages. Religion has bastardised our mindset, our opinion and sense of living. |
tayotayotayo:Publishing their name is a way God is fighting for you. For Christ sake, you want someone else to feel the same way as you did. What is the nonsense with surrendering someone to God. Have we not surrender our political leaders to God for a long time, what became of it? If we had not taken a decisive measure to change our corrupt leaders, won't we be licking our wounds now. |
This is a manslaughter case and must be reported to the police. |
No wonder Jonathan was having night meetings with President Buhari |
otunsman:That is what he does. Did you not read lately how he retired senior pastors who are old and him being the eldest still retains his position. These men have built a successful business empire, which I respect. |
Jackrich:A corrupt and polluted mind talking. A President should not interfere with processes and systems. His duty is to put these processes in place, find competent hands to handle them, establish the framework and allow them to flourish and work. Unfortunately, the last administration was a joke, a selective administration which exemplify the poor outcome we all witnessed. An innocent mind fears no guilty conscience |
Sorry guys had to take the pictures from upstairs. Scared of the opinions of my neighbors. So I am hiding for now. ![]() |
My dish is here and currently being installed. It is a 4.8m dish (a scary gigantic stuff). Unfortunately I was informed it won't get sky UK because of the high rising building in my location. Installation is still on. Will upload pictures later today

chynergy1:Politically let us analyze this. The entire South-East cannot win an election in Nigeria, hence they must align to mop up votes. If another election is held today, Buhari will win the election. The south-east must quit this wailing situation and re-strategise on exerting their identity politically. The issue of the North being dominant in the political sphere is as a result of other ethnic groups not being able to, collectively, vacate the circle of feeling being marginalised and express themselves. |
Sweetlemon:Spot on. You cannot satisfy everybody. If I were in Buhari's shoes I will ignore the wailers and do what is right for the country. If they are dissatisfied, let them express their dissatisfaction at the polls. |

babyfaceafrica:The president is faced with greater issues than land grabbers. Why don't you identify the army general |
NellyGhenghen:150 per dollar was the best rate ever. I enjoyed that rate very well |
ITSAWRAPP:Well, more money for their auditors. To me, I just think this write up is a publicity stunt. When I saw new financial reporting style. I was wondering it IASB has issued a new financial reporting standards other than IAS or a new financial reporting framework. This is just publishing audited half year report, which is very good, enhances good corporate governance, reliability on the financial statements and complying with best international practice. It is good they are taking the lead, other Banks will follow suit and probably, we will begin to have audited quarterly reports. |
thoth:This is a ridiculous comment from a deranged person |
Image123:How won't the parallel market affect the economy, do they operate in a different economy? Small and micro traders patronize them to purchase foreign products. |
all4naija:That's their fat luck. If they want to spend it, spend it in those countries. Another area to strengthen is customs so that these people do not smuggle assets especially illegal assets into the country |
Image123:Well with the president position and fight against corruption and illicit proceeds, our transparency international rating will improve and likewise, our anti-money laundering rating for FAT F. This will enable countries to consider doing business with us because the stringent rules will be relaxed and transactions emanating from Nigeria will be considered legitimate transactions. Now you see why the fight against corruption is very important. It is like what the Christians call being Born Again and when old things are foregone and all things being new |
Sincere4u:Sir, if that dollars is in your bank account, I would advise you exchange it to naira. If it is kept in your house, hit the black market tomorrow and exchange it to naira in order to get good value for it. The directive just ended the speculation game |
ddbluv:They have just told you what to do - use your master card. I actually used my master card today to make payment for foreign services No bank will sell foreign currency to you. This has stopped for a long while and now you cannot even deposit your foreign currency into any bank account whether domicillary or naira account |
arsenal1:You just repeated what I wrote in your own words. CBN just want to curb the menace and sharp practices exploited by Banks, BDCs and illegal FX traders - Mallams The gap between the official rate and parallel rate is just too wide and honestly, it cannot happened else where other than Nigeria due to its weak regulations. |
ilobasama:Can we be clear on this. The policy is to first, stop money laundering. Second, stop the dollarisation of the economy. Third, streamline the activities of BDCs and illegal FX exchangers a.k.a Mallams The CBN has already deregulated the naira based on our inability to generate further income apart from crude oil. The official rate is 197, however, there is a wide margin from the official rate with the parallel market. This has resulted to a lot of sharp practices which must be curbed. The directive is not to strengthen the naira officially because the naira cannot be strengthen without any visible economic activities. |
iretiland:There is nothing wrong in the directive. Would you spend naira or even pounds sterling in the U.S.? It is totally wrong. We are approaching a situation where people will prefer to be paid in dollars than in naira and you see politicians moving around with dollars in their wallet like it is our legal tender here in Nigeria. It even gets funny when people appear to be affluent or classy based on the amount of dollars they have in cash. |
