Image123:I cannot help but support your comment. The campaign is still on. It is not vigorous because the present administration supports the BBOG cause unlike attacks being carried out on them by the previous administration. The BBOG campaign do not make headline news anymore because they are not perceived to be antagonistic to the government and because they don't make front page news doesn't mean they went silent. They meet regularly and update the public. Hence, I can conclude that the writer is ignorant about the activities of BBOG campaign and he was lazy to do proper research before writing. |
I have been a lover of rap music but decided to quit the genre given the circumstances of old age and advent of distasteful rap artistes. Rap/hip-pop is a culture, started from Africa and popularized by African-Americans. It is more of story-telling interwoven with bass beats and lyrics to rhyme. However, contemporary rap music is not African. Lyrics of boastful lives, gangsterism, insults and vengeance are not the typical African concept or culture. That is why, regardless of how hard these rap artistes try, the public seem not to accept them in totality. Those who are successful in it seems to incorporate African languages and vernacular. Rap artistes must sit down and do some soul searching. It is not about how fast, good or long you can rhyme, but how well you tell your stories. There are so many issues to rap about in Africa without sounding like Jay Z or trying to do it like African Americans. African rap artistes must create their own genre of rap music and quit the decorum attach with rap music such as street credibility. First, they must realized rap is music and would be listened to if done right and to the context of African related issues. For now, they are all "Niggas wannabes". In conclusion, the best Nigerian rapper in my own opinion was Da grin. |
Little wonder why people are screaming for Ministers. “Don’t forget that much is also not happening at Aso Rock. Everybody is operating at low key. There are no ministers and no contracts being awarded. We expect a change in fortune when ministers come on board.” Ministers are conduit pipe for financial wastages. Buhari must lay down strict procedural guidelines for all his ministers. |
This is Junk Journalism. It is not possible to have two senators from the same senatorial district. INEC should have spotted this error before issuing certificate of return |
Are they the chibok girls? |
Talibanis:Well I guess I would be needing your support on this. I think I have given your my decorder model. DM800 HD PVR and which account is the perfect one |
Punch again with poor journalism. Speculative journalism at the highest peak. What was the objective of putting this publication in the papers? I can confirm that the journalist given this assignment just picked up his phone and called some contacts in government houses. Similar stories like this in foreign tabloids would not only indicate the name of the government officer, but show pictures of him engaging in the act. I am ashamed for Punch and the useless journalist that wrote this. |
Talibanis I'm yet to check my mail. Just a quick one. How do I resolve the freezing on some channel especially the sky Italia channels |
Talibanis:You are a blessing in disguise. Thanks a lot and expecting |
EMMAACHILE:interesting Emma. How do I get this gsharing account for my dreambox? |
EMMAACHILE:How do I do that? Can you teach me please? |
EMMAACHILE:So what happens to my dreambox decorder? |
Emma how can I get the Gshare account |
EMMAACHILE:I appreciate Emma. I think I need to learn more about satellite tv stuff. Where is the best place to start - any ideas. I just love to know stuff |
McKren:Buhari met an empty treasury and need to ascertain what went wrong. I believe Nigerians are satisfied with anti-corruption crusade so far. Based on the president's stance on corruption, everybody is falling in line. People are scared to steal, people who have stolen are worried about themselves - they cannot even spend the money. These days, we don't see people flashing their wealth on the covers of newspapers so that EFCC will not remember you. Civil servants are more diligent with their work. NNPC is weeding out bad people and now wants to operate as a business. Electricity is fairly stable without any infuses of funds (I find this one strange. I called Eko Power Customer Care and complained and they restored back our light). To me, Buhari must run for two terms. First term, get rid of corruption and corrupt people. Second term, implement strong economic programmes to elevate us to greater height. A fight on corruption is a fight against the wicked Elites taking this country backward. Lets not be myopic to term it a fight against some ethnic group. |
drsteroid:Supported. Negotiators should meet with the looters and start discussing how to remit these monies into the Treasury Account. After remittance, than punishment terms can then be carried out. |
EMMAACHILE:I think I have cccam account just that some HD channels don't show especially on Sky italia, but some Canal HD channels open up. Except the cccam account is half account. |
EMMAACHILE:Decorder - Dreambox. Is it good? Where can I get tis zte mf90 from and how good is it? Currently I am using my spectranet 4g lte for my living room and another router (provided by the installer and I don't know the name) for my bedroom. |
Good morning guys, sorry I have not been able to put up pictures. This is as a result of the time lag in completing the installation by the installer. However, the installation was completed yesterday. Sequel to this, I noticed some things - The HD channels on Sky italia do not open. Is there any particular reason? - Some HD channels on Canal+ do not open and the installer said I could search the frequency. How do I do that? - Some of the channels cracks or freezes. I don't know if my questions sound ridiculous, probably I am a newbie in satellite Tv. I will appreciate sincere answers to my curiosity. Also, I will like to know how much a router/modern cost? |
Malix:what does this do? |
Thats good. We don't have to import chinese electric meters |
davodyguy:Laughs. I was really emotional writing that. I did not read. He really worked me up. Customer satisfaction is key. Well I hope everything is resolved as quick as possible. For the record, I meant I don't mean using diabolical stuff. |
Talibanis:Thanks. I appreciate |
Unsad:Please stop this. Rather the OP is confused because that was his opinion. He does not speak for an entire ethnic group. |
This is so uncharacteristic and unprofessional of Mourinho. I watched that game and as a matter of fact Swansea would have won that game (an offside goal was ruled out). Eden Hazard was tired and needed to rest, the medical team only responded as required. A player who knows at the last minute with few seconds to go would not stay on the ground if he was not feeling the nudge. Mourinho should be praising his fatigued team for sustaining a draw rather than blame the medical team. I think Mourinho statement was sexist and he should apologise appropriately. |
Heavily photoshopped. First she has to return the money and then hand over her co-conspirators. She needs to start to sing because the entire nation do not wish her well. She must name those who took part in her deals. |
barcanista:The President has to negotiate at least if the group is authentic. Boko Haram has been decimated and in full time the group will be annihilated. However, there is the need for negotiation in order to avoid pockets of hit and run attacks currently being witnessed. |
Sincere9gerian:He is a good man but an incompetent president who saw nothing wrong in fleecing the public treasury. Under his watch, a lot of atrocities and abnormalities were perpetrated. Nigeria is too big a country to deserve such a president and I pray we never see his likes in Aso rock again. |
I think with the increased rate of corrupt cases becoming public, we should consider giving the president some breathing space to continue with his housekeeping activities. |
PDPwayoo:I don't think GEJ did exactly that, but he was an incompetent president, whose body language and utterances promoted the fleecing of public wealth. |
Gawd, this country has been truly robbed. Probing of corrupt cases fills the dailies these days. One begins to wonder if corruption was a sporting activity in Nigeria. Perhaps, Nigeria is hosting the "All African Corruption Games 2015". However, this game intends to be played; institutions such as Banks, Legal firms and Consultants who aided corrupt officers should not be pardoned. Sanctions such as heavy fines, withdrawal of Banking licences or termination of employment for senior officers should be considered for Banks, whilst de-registration and blacklisting of Legal and Consulting firms should likewise be adopted. This will assist the fight against corruption, theft and laundering of public funds. |
The best Buhari can do is not to offer Amaechi any part in his cabinet. He cannot institute an investigation because that is witch-hunting. However, the people of Rivers State deserve to know how Amaechi performed and his stewardship. They should petition the EFCC to investigate Amaechi. I am very sure Buhari will not interfere into such investigation. |
