I need the candid advise of the matured minds here. My boyfriend and I have been dating for 8 months when our relationship was 3 months I was able to get a German visa and moved to Germany .

He lost his job 2 months ago, and we have been discussing on how he can get back on his feet, lots of interviews and no call back and with this harsh economy we consider it best he starts a business which he doesn't even have the capital.

I really wish I can support him but so scared it might be termed as using money to buy love and this might just make him stick to me for the wrong reasons or even later dump me... I am so confused huh huh huh
First, he is your friend (remove the boy attached to it) and he needs some assistance. Why not give it to him, if you can, rather than just listen to him.

There must not be any strings attached. I'd expect you would want the same assistance if the table switched

I will tell you specifically and even in caps - DON'T DO IT IF YOU STILL LOVE YOUR JOB. Your boss may be serving the interest of someone high up the ladder. A boss who has the effrontery to direct subordinates to change figures may have cover up. Do it and lose your job or be frustrated out of the system.

The government needs to make it a criminal offence to do things like this with serious punishment for the offender
You'd be the first victim. I watched a video on Facebook where a man who was desperate to be with his kids got chased out of his home by his wife. She called the cops. The boys were crying, they want their daddy to stay. The woman refused and the man said daddy doesn't want to go to jail boys so I have to leave. I was heartbroken. If you are a father you will understand.

If a woman wants to destroy you - you stand no chance. Forget the initial lovey-dovey, pray for a wife who wants to share your dreams and build with you, not one who just want to escape poverty.

A woman who wants to build with you will NEVER provoke you. She will be the pillar that supports you and not the stone that crushes you. She will wish you well in good and bad times rather than show off stuff you got for her on social media and equally show her face after an argument

There are some things adult shouldn't be told any longer cos they are mature.
Well we only know that he beat his wife and she took pictures. What happened BTW them and what led to the beating? Did she strike first or what?

Two adults don't raise their fists in an argument. Everything goes wrong when one person raises his or her fist. When your wife start saying unpalatable things to you, instead of beating, there are some attitudes you can display that will make her brain reset by itself and she'd go down and apologize.
When she strikes the first punch, then I can't defend her any longer. It shows she can withstand what's coming to her. The same you expect the man to be calm after using offensive words and then striking is the same you should be calm when he retaliates with an equal punch.

You don't expect a man to play mature and then play immature all the time. Doesn't work that way.
When one is mature and the other is immature, there is always issues.
Any man that wakes up and start beating his wife without a reason is mentally ill.

N.B
Control your fist. 'Think before acting' and not think after acting'. It's disastrous
Wise words. From what I can see from the picture. It appears to be a boxing match between two challengers and not a beat down. Why I said so was the scratches on her legs which signified both parties on the floor rolling and struggling. The wife engaged the husband to a fist fight and you only do that when you are certain you have equal chance of winning - else try and be reasonable and avoid putting up pictures of your damage face. It signifies you cannot equally manage your home

What I need to understand is why would a man beat a good woman. I need someone to clarify that to me. Imagine how she has quickly narrated her ordeal to a male friend and the guy is sharing it on Facebook. If you investigate you will find out that the wife has provoke the man to anger. A good wife will never provoke the husband and a good husband will never beat or anger the wife.

Please people should deal with their marriage and let the general public be.

What I have been saying is that people in marriages should learn to respect themselves and their emotions. A wife who insults the husband, assaults the husband; a man who beats the wife, assaults the wife.

No woman can push me that far enough to punch her, i've met my share of crazy women i'd rather just leave the b.itch and calm down. there's a difference between family issue and a black eye. I grew up seeing my father beat my mom so it's not like i haven't experienced it. I've seen enough to know it's not my thing. I rather just walk out of the marriage.
Get married first then come back later. When a woman wants to push you, they know how to go about it. Pray you meet an understanding one, else -

A wife beater spotted. So he went to the gym to pick up the wife so they can resolve their differences? Well, that wasn't the case otherwise the man wouldn't have spoken to her sarcastically which further infuriated the gym guys who were already pissed. Please quit justifying wrong doings.
I have lived with women well enough to know their tricks. I have never beaten my wife before and I don't wish to. I believe she is matured enough to know there is a limit and I'm matured enough to know when she is angry. However, I have also come to understand that women can devilishly test and push you. I respect boundaries and I believe my wife should do the same and not overstep it.

My overall principle is not to hit anybody or cause anybody to hit you - just respect yourself. And like I said a wife can easily manage the husband's emotion. I know this because I am married. That is the sweetness of women. Only a stupid one would do otherwise and we know they always end up in the streets, many of them in their 3rd marriage.

it seems everyone would be more comfortable if the woman was beaten in silence and nothing is done about it, it's not like she told them to beat her husband they accosted her to explain the black eye. I understand how easy it is for cowards to simply turn a blind eye after it's a woman she chose her fate.
No! It is equally wrong to hit your kids. However what women do these days is to cry foul when they cannot manage their issues or their husbands. They leave the underlying issue which they are the initiator and start extracting sympathy because their husbands lost it and decided to assault them. Even if it was the first time, they run to social media to show the world - why, because they want to hide from their sins. The main reason they were beaten. Kids who grow up abroad do this too. When their parents discipline them, they call the cops but fail to tell the cops what they actually did to get the spanking.

You hear wives insulting their mother in-law, insulting the siblings of their husbands, disclosing personal secrets to the world in the name of argument, belittling their husbands in public and even confronting their husbands with their hands in fist mood ready for combat. When you engage them - social media will not rest. They show their legs, squeeze their face and threaten law suits. They will never tell social media how they told their husbands that they are ready to fight.

People should try to understand that marriage can be complicated and no marriage is the same. You have two different strangers from different backgrounds living together. Someone was saying a man who cannot control his emotions should not be married. I guess he took my comment out of context. Men, generally are more temperamental compared to women who are more reserved and easy going. Women are more emotionally intelligent than men and should be able to anticipate when an argument has cross the threshold of calmness.

Just recently an elderly friend of mine informed me about his friend's situation, someone I know, which means this is a true story.

This man apparently was bursting his balls to ensure that his family was comfortable, paying school fees, holiday trips, feeding, clothing and utility bills only to discover that the kids, two intact, actually do not belong to him but belongs to his pastor, a man who he took his wife to meet for counseling when they were having issues.

What the hell would you do to such a woman!

hedonistic:
That's the issue because it doesn't make sense...even if you take the matter to court.

The man abusing the woman is an independent matter on its own. But then, that doesn't give the gym busybodies the right to avenge for the woman - it's really not their business, especially as the man didn't assault his wife in their presence (in which case they can claim that they attacked him defence of the woman).

The woman has family members she can report to. She can also report to respected individuals such as clerics, or if the matter warrants, law enforcement agencies.. She can even file for divorce.. But for unconcerned third parties like random gym boys to meddle into such a matter even without apparent cause is not acceptable.

I assume the marriage is effectively over. She would have to be on a suicide mission to go back to that house and face to her husband after instigating her 'boyfriends' to assist him in public (that's how most men would interpret it).

Bottom line is that two wrongs never make a right.
The man should use police to arrest all of them and even the gym owner for habouring thugs and drug addicts. I wonder the kind of place the wife goes to gym and takes the man's sweat to offer them as treats. She can be nice to other guys but not to her husband. She wants people to see her as a nice woman, but she cannot control the husband's emotions.

A woman who does not know how to control a man's emotions is not fit for marriage.

Well, i never thought of that and that doesnt mean i'm not rationally minded. People here tends to bring in negativity into such stories. The #girlchild is always wrong esp in Nigeria. Real friends can do much more than that for their friends. She mustn't cheat before she will have people that will fight for her.
Can we for once say he deserve what he got FULL STOP!! without the 'but'??
No you cannot say that because you don't know if the story is true or the reason for their quarrel. What if the husband told you that she squandered their life savings without his knowledge and she wasn't remorseful. If this story is true, what I see is a man who mistakenly hits his wife, went to the gym to pick the wife up so they can resolve their differences and some nosy guys decided to take laws into their hands and finally, destroy the marriage.
Family › Re: Abusive Man Beats Wife, Wife's Fit Male Gym Buddies Beat Him Up Too In Revenge by Boss13: 4:13pm On Feb 07, 2017
I doubt if those gym guys have wives at home just the same way I doubt the veracity of this story. Married couples fight, some fights maybe physical and depends on the underlying circumstances involved. There is no justification to be abusive to your spouse whether physically or verbally - abuse is an abuse. However, if this story is true then that woman intentionally wants the husband to be beaten up and she might have narrated the story to extract pity from the guys and I doubt a man who just had a fight with the wife the other night going to the gym to pick her up the next day after the fight except the assault was done mistakenly.

For me, I think understanding is very important in a marriage. Learn to understand when your spouse is angry or what makes them angry and avoid such things. Only a stubborn spouse or someone who is less interested in their marriage that will continue to do things that annoys their partner. Marriage is hard work and takes a lot of effort. It also requires teamwork where both the husband and the wife work together for its survival. Getting outsiders involved in your marriage only destroys it.

Very very possible. I had a serious prayer with someone last year's March opposite an hospital at 2am. The Nurses on duty called the doctor to come from home that house opposite is burning and people are making noise from there. He told us the next day that he saw fire in the place, he stopped hearing noise and later the fire stopped and he went back home. Never saw this myself but its 100% alignment with my prayer points.OK
So what are you trying to say? That your prayer was so hot that it resulted to flames or the doctor just noticed something else or you just made it up.

Nobody can last in a room filled with smoke for 15minutes except that room is very well ventilated to allow the smoke to disperse out of the room. When there is fire, what kills people is the smoke not the fire. To have this man claim people became healed is just annoying

Do you work? If you do why don't you pay for your rent or get an accommodation within your means. That boyfriend of yours has his own issues. There is recession in the country and you should not be passing your bills to your boyfriend - this is pure insensitivity.

If you don't work, please get a job or go attach yourself with relatives. I wonder why you didn't ask from your family. He owes you nothing and even when he marries you, at least he pays for the rent for both of you and not pay for rent in a house he doesn't live in. Please be reasonable
