When I shop for my baby I only bought bought one set of sleepsuit n body suit of 0-3 others were 3 -6 but I discovered that she ws able to wear some of her 0-3 till 6 month n some 3 -6 did not even size her @ 4months. Now I knw what will fit her irrespective of the size written on it.

I see....Shey baby doesn't wear more than 2clothes in a day rty? One body suit during the day and a sleep suit at night?

I did pelvimetry X-ray and the result was ok. The baby is in cephalic position.

It's ok then....YOU may want to give it a try then. But don't hesitate to head to the hospital ifyou have any difficulty. ...All the best...

Nothing is wrong jooor....Your clothes will still fit for some times before you abandon them for maternity wears. ..

Yes, the pain is normal...with a growing bump you will not be able to bend or squat with ease. Seat on a kitchen chair for your house chores whenever possible. The babies head is putting alot of pressure on your pelvis no wonder the pains down there. Hoping you lie on your sides . You can tug a pillow in between your thighs at night to help you sleep well. Kpele. ..hang on there...it will end in praise.

Where you examined? Was a pelvic examination done to determine if you can undertake a V.delivery? What is your baby's presentation? What quantity of the castor oil where you asked to take? I usually don't like mother's taking castor oil on their own WITHOUT close by medical monitoring ...cos anything can go wrong.
Please try serious trekking every evening 45mins and above. . Try kpekpusing with DH...

Had to go do gender scan before going back to the market ooo . Finally baby cooperated else I would have picked those fine fine gowns I saw oo.

I went just baby clothes shopping ooo. I was so confused on what quantity to get and what sizes precisely. Please 2nd and 3rd time mother's, help a Sis. These labels on these clothes reading 0-3months or 3-months, are they reliable guides to buying ? What I mean is, like the Carter and George products with 0-3months label, will a baby be able to fit into them till that 3months? What was your guide in buying clothes that your baby was able to wear to at least 3-4months? How many pairs of clothes will likely be enough ? What about caps, bips?
Want to avoid buying items I won't get to use my money out ooo and unnecessary spending

1. I don'tknow how exactly the nappy looks like. Is it like the ones our mother's used? That will require you buy pins to fasten them in one piece after wearing Hansel? Or the nappies has it's own fastener kinda? If it has it's fastener, I would suggest You keep it and use IF you will have a lot of help at home after delivery. ..that's in-laws or your own people. ..they will be happy to help you wash them....but if you won't have help, feel free to dash it out or sell as you wish

2. Brand new bed for 2500naira? ?
Please what kind of bed? Is it this net and foam ? Where did you see it for 2500naira? ?? Do you have pictures? I would love to see it....I wouldn't mind sending You money to buy and send for me ooo

3. What's the nature or line of business of her company? That could determine what you ask for...
Oil and gas ? ICT? These are companies that make good money sha so you ask for walker, car seat, breast pump....if a smaller company, ask for baby carrier, feeders or so...other mamas will suggest

Nov is way tooo far using your L.M.P . Your are definitely due in October. ...Please disregard the November date. Using a pregnancy calculator, your EDD is Oct 8 As you are about 20 weeks now! Even if you do the plus 2weeks to EDD , you will still land in October. Minus 2weeks lands in september sef. So if your baby decides to come very early, you can still birth the baby in September! You can check it out yourself too using pregnancy calculators on google. ..

Yes you are safe. I use to have the painful feet too any time I stood for long hours doing chores the previous day....
So try to sit most times during chores if possible except things that can't be done sitting. At night, raise your feet up with pillow to reduce swelling. Reduce your salt intake too and increase water drinking.
Mention it too at your next ANC. ...

I wash all my woodin, daviva, hitarget ,in short all my Ankara with mild soaps like premier...i don't use any form of detergent ooo...I then starch it from time to time. That's how I maintain my Ankara. ..

Other mamas have already answered u, I only bought d shawl for hospital and naming purpose only. I wanted to buy receiving blanket as well bt d lady told me it's outdated bt introduced another one to me and it's so nice.

Am a FTM, what I did before I put to bed was shop in PEP, on my ANC days I go there from the hospital and you know some things were discounted.

I only bought one 0-3 months top and short for DS, lawyer suit- a set of 3(3-6months)

a pack of onesies for 3-6 months, 9-12 months and 12-18 months respectively, singlets, sleeveless wears ( not from PEP, I had gotten as gift so no need).

Sleep suits was a pack of 3 I bought in ANC- 1,200

Outing tops and short is 6 months and above , need I say that PEP has nice quality things too.

I didn't stick to newborn size or 0-3 months cos babies grow fast.

His toys( rattle, vehicle band, helicopter, truck, pack of different things etc) too weren't left out, I got them before I put to bed( sales thingy) and they were ranging N150-N700.

For diaper, molfix works for us wella and I buy a big pack of almost 100 for the month, need I say also that I get it for 2600.( buying it in bulk pays )


I had to apply wisdom cos I relocated after wedding so income comes only from DH.


That's why it is good to shop in 2nd trimester when you still feel sexy and strông.

What is PEP please. ....? As at last year Oct /Nov, these items were not these costly o ooo....exchange rate is the problem now ooo.....

Try steam inhalation ie place a bucket of water by your feet hold baby firmly across your laps and cover with a towel so he inhales the steam. Please be careful. Also drop some eucalyptus oil ie olbas or silverbird on a face towel/bib and hang it on his chest so he's inhaling that too. Massage his chest with a heated towel. Put Robb in his feet and let him wear socks

Get hot water in a bowl or bucket, carry him then cover both of you with a towel and let him inhale the steam. If you have eucalyptus oil ( you'll get it at a pharmacy) add a few drop to the water or any other balm e.g Robb.

Suck the mucus with you mouth or a bulb syringe if you have one.
