adebabs21:Nne, you are more than welcomed. ...just find your team mates....Stress free pregnancy! !! |
laiiila:New mum...welcome! Which team are you o ooo? Please register with us here ooo... Meanwhile, Honey is NOT safe for eating during pregnancy. .. so I don't think it will be safe for rubbing as the skin will likely absorb it into the blood stream too. For strectch marks, rubbing shea butter(ori) , pure coconut oil(nothing added to the oil ), bio oil (sold in supermarkets ) and Palmers Shea butter cream are things that Mamas here confirm is helping them.....try any of these you can easily lay hands on . Just rub on ur bump.... |
missade:ABSOLUTELY YES! ! The first dose is usually given to after first trimester. .... |

mitchyy: . I use shaving stick .I move the shaving stick with my 6th sense. I stand to shave the front part. I then squat to do the part in btween. While shaving there, I move gently so as to avoid cutting myself. I don't necessarily aim for complete hair removal and I try to shave at least once a week so i don't let it get too bushy . The more hairs there, the more stressful it is cos squating for long with a bump is really tasking! ! Alternatively, you ask DH. Why I avoid asking him is because when he finishes, he will ask for settlement and my libido has gone to Sambisa and has not yet returned . |
evamum:I support THIS motion o ooo.....experienced mums please help us FTMs..... |

evamum:Interesting. You are using rainbow lite prenatal, are you based in Nigeria? ? When I got my BFP, it's one brand of prenatals I really wanted to take instead of pregnacare because I read very good reviews about it. I looked for it in all major pharmacies in my town but couldn't find it. Even sent for it in Abuja but I couldn't find it. I saw only Centrum prenatal. Unfortunately, after the first pack finished, I couldn't see it again to buy! Just had to use pregnacare as it was readily available! Are you a first time Mum ? This one you are team pinkish blue? Are you expecting a twin ? |

To ALL OUR MAMA'S here oo, those duely registered here and those still peeping, in ghost mode EVEN OUR BELOVED TTC SISTERS who come here once in a while to share with us, PLEASE oo, daily intake of folic acid should be a MUST for all of us ooo.... For those of us already pregnant, it helps to prevent deformation of the spinal cord and other spinal related deformities. Our babies will be formed beautifully with complete toes and fingers positioned where they should be! For our TTC SISTERS, it enhances conception. Also, most times we don't even know that we are pregnant and a month will pass. Our daily intake of folic acid prevents deformation of that baby during that period we didn't know we have taken in.... Let's US ALL take our daily routine drugs seriously! ! Our target should be not to skip a day if possible! We are happy about the LOs growing in us, let's give them all they need while there to form beautifully! You don't like swallowing drugs, please put in eba or take with juice or a glass of milk! If you usually forget, set a daily alarm as reminder! Babies born these days are beautiful...thanks to these routine drugs and what their mother's eat during the pregnancy .You no wan make your own carry last oooooo Team captains, e b like say we go dey include am as reminder during roll calls ooo... #Healthy babies #Take your routine drugs |
Godmother:Have you started ANC? What drugs were you given there? You can take those ones.... Routine drugs in pregnancy should include folic acid 5mg, Iron, vitamin c, vitamin b 12, calcium... Pregnacare plus contains all that but is a bit pricey. So you can stick to what you were given at antenatal. Your pregnancy is progressing, please avoid lying on your back. Lie on your side's, Left side preferably while you change to the right briefly when you are tired on your left. You should be team November if am not mistaken! !! Please come here more often and learn from your team mates ooo |
Godmother:Mummy, you deserve some e-flogging on your bum bum oo ? Mummy, you are not kind to that baby at all. The first 3months of conception ARE very critical in a baby 's formation. What you take at that stage determines how your baby will look cos major organs are formed during that stage!! BUT you have been reading from us here na.....we talk about drugs here not just malaria or TT. We don't take those drugs for fun o ooo, most of us dont even like drugs! We take it for our babies sake! We don't want them coming out with deformed ears, spinal cord, etc. You need to apologise to that baby o ooo...... Please start your drugs immediately with daily prayers that you have not harmed that bundle of joy in you already! !!! |
uglyBetty1:Is it only one leg that is swollen? Sometimes swollen feet in pregnancy may not be out of place as long as your b.p is ok and there is no protein in your urine! If those things are ok, then just increase your water intake, Reduce your salt consumption and be raising your legs as often as possible. I had swollen feet too in my 15weeks to 18 or 19 weeks. But it has disappeared now . It only comes when I stand for long hours kind of. I sleep with my legs raised on pillows. And when sitting down for long like in the parlour, I raise my legs on some stool or so. |
feddy27:I have liked the page. How do I see pictures of things in stock so i can order? |
HumbledbYGrace:Congratulations ooooooooo....Praise be to God!!!! Say me welcome to her.... Oya birth story oooooooo |
Elhayjay:Nope, not at all. Some even vomit in labour room. |
famfortune:I go with what other mamas have said earlier. If he says he needs you by his side, then don't go. You can go to mum's place and pick food stuffs for you people to eat or she sends cash. Since you are literate, pick your daughter's text books and teach her using that. Do you have a refrigerator? Is where you are living a place you can sell pure water? For every bag of pure water you sell, you make 100percent profit. Does your husband have siblings, can the contribute money for the injection and hospital bill? Please change to a government hospital for your ANC and delivery if you have not done that... Your husband must be a very Godly man! God bless his earnest desire to earn an honest income just to support his family! !! |
simababe:Eya pele. ..reminds me of my predicament in Feb and March when it didn't reign for more than 3months in my town. I was virtually restless . My body was like send paper because of rashes. The last 2weeks weather has been manageable abit in my town. At least, it rains a little. My experience with heat in this pregnancy will make me time my next journey to fall in rainy season abeg. ....I for fan you but wetin dey your menu to cook no be wetin dey hungry me to chop. |
