Christianity EtcRe: Higher Everyday — Making Wrong Right by brocab: 11:35pm On Nov 09, 2017
Men and women on drugs, drink, porn, and everything else that follows, these are prayed for..
It's the Church that needs our prayers, believers in Christ who have one foot in the door, and the other in the world, Christians that come to Church on Sunday, who does bible studies and fits in with the crowd are the ones that needs our prayers.
Young people coming to Christ-because mummy and daddy are Christians, they say to their Children, which way would you prefer, to be with Jesus in heaven in all His glory, or spend eternity burning in hell! Of course the Children will say they would rather spend eternity with Jesus, then Mummy and Daddy will say 'now say this prayer, and everything will be alright, you are saved.
Most Christians believe once saved always saved, this isn't true, those who are truly saved, are led by the Spirit changing for Christ.
{Romans 7:18-19} Paul makes himself clear, how he feels after sinning, "But now it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me, {that is, in my flesh} nothing good dwells, but to will is present with me, but how to perform what is good I do not find. For the good that I will do, I do not do, but the evil I will not to do, that I practice.
This is a heart of a Christian living for Christ.
Are people coming to Christ for the right reasons, most of the time Mummy and Daddy haven't a clue where their Children are, they can pull the wool over their parents eye's, but they can't pull it over God's.
But not only the youth are to blame, of the street, or just out of prison Pastors, have learned new ways how to make plenty of money without them being caught by the law.
Legalism in Church have allowed criminals to turn a Church into a business, that's earning monies they themselves couldn't of made in a life time on the street.
Pastors preaching to be paid.
Christianity EtcRe: The truth your pastor would not tell you about tithes by brocab:
Have you any idea's in mind, I was talking to a pastor yesterday "live' preaching tithes-he doesn't see himself as a prosperity preacher, to be honest His heart had never agreed on tithing-but because of his Church he must preach tithes on the pulpit.
The pastor quoted {Mark 12:17} Give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar, and give to God what belongs to God.
The pastor is taught "giving to Caesar belongs to Caesar, and giving to God belongs to God "money, I told him, giving back to Caesar was about ownership, the picture on the coin belongs to Caesar, and what belongs to God is His image, we belong to God..
He never argued the point, he understood clearly, but sadly he preach tithing because the Church expects him to preach it.
Honesty having treads like this-is reaching out to every nation, these treads have helped me learn more about the Word of God. God's using people like us to share His Word across the net, and the net reaches out to every nation, and with Christian forums such as these, we are all learning everyday.
MrPristine:
As the tithe debacle becomes a national debate, now will be a good time to refresh this thread. smiley
Christianity EtcRe: The Pentecostal Church Verses The Catholic Church. by brocab(op):
We can't stop the news spreading around, and we can't stop people searching for all sorts of news, this world is nasty, full of back biters, gossips and busybodies.
Everyone will always have their own opinions, we can't change that, people try and never exceed, once the rumors starts, it's gone with the wind, and the world just keeps rolling around, until one day someone may come up with a better salutation, and that old news is forgotten.
Either we are Christians or atheist we have a habit to pass the news on, between Catholic's and protestants, we will always hear rumors inside or outside the Church.
Life is just a push of a button, stories from all walks of life, had spread to the four corners of the Earth.
How do you stop that, is this the way to solve the problem turning my page of air?
Knowledgeable Christians shouldn't be offended how people think, its the Word of God that free's us from the garbage this world seeks, I see this as a good thing, people are warned, and don't forget time will tell, if it's false, we will know by their fruit, if it's true, same.
The priest stories have been flying around for centuries, priest accepting gay marriages didn't start here. this started way way back in time.
Christianity EtcRe: The Pentecostal Church Verses The Catholic Church. by brocab(op):
The problem we are having no-one likes to hear the truth-truth is confusing with those who think they are a head of time-how can marriage stop for a little while and start up again? If you are claiming marriage isn't important in the Church now, then why do priest and Nun's claim they are married to Christ, and Christ is the head of the Church?
And if the priest believe they are married to Christ whom they can't see, then why do priest act upon those whom they can see?
{Matthew 5:28} But I say to you if anyone looks at a woman with lust had already committed adultery with her in his heart.
So you see marriage is important in the Church, priest claiming to be married to Christ in one hand, and yet having lust in their hearts for another, have committed adultery.
{In the other hand I suppose you maybe right, priest are now turning to marriage-after searching the net I manage to find this--Priest claims Church could accept gay ‘marriage’: ‘It would be wrong to fight against it’ TORBAY, Newfoundland, June 30, 2017 (LifeSiteNews)
A Catholic priest helping to run a gay-Pride ‘multi-faith service’ says that the Holy Spirit could direct the Church under Pope Francis to change its teaching on marriage and sexuality to accept gay “marriage.” And, if the Holy Spirit did so, “it would be wrong to fight against it,” he said.
“It's not like this was a teaching that was established in the time of Christ, or in the first three centuries, or by the Council of Nicea, or even by the Council of Trent,” said Fr. Paul Lundrigan, a pastor in active ministry at Holy Trinity Parish within the Archdiocese of St. John’s, Newfoundland, to LifeSiteNews.
As we can see, if this above is right, and the priest do have a positive attitude towards marriage, than the next question is, to whom and what sex? Gay marriage will be legalised in every country, and what Pope Francis believes Christians and Muslims are all brothers, and all those in favour put up your hands, will the Church marry Children too?
Whats the world coming too, and why would people accept gay marriage in the first place, the Word of God is against it, God made Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve.
FavoredGuy:
you are such a confused person. So marriage/celibacy is your ground of argument here, abii?

In history, Catholic priests have been marrying; and may start to marry again the near future.

Marriage is never a taboo for Catholic Priests. It was just stopped and may therefore start again anytime from now

Nothing I just thought I would ask? One don't ask-one don't receive...
And if you are willing please I am all ears-this isn't a question about religion..
Does black Africans have the same constitutional rights as do the white generation have, freedom of speech?..
I am just asking because in my country the white people took our land, enslaving us, and when the constitution was written, our freedom of speech doesn't exist..

So what has this African question got to do with this thread?
Christianity EtcRe: The Pentecostal Church Verses The Catholic Church. by brocab(op):
I found this on Got Questions and this is what they have to say about these two different doctrines.
Question: "Catholic vs. Protestant – why is there so much animosity?"

Answer: This is a simple question with a complicated answer, because there are varying degrees of, and reasons for, animosity between any two religious groups.
The battle between Catholics and Protestants is rooted in history.
Degrees of reaction have ranged from friendly disagreement (as reflected in the numerous ecumenical dialogues produced between the two groups) to outright persecution and murder of Protestants at the hands of Rome. Reformation teachings that identify the Pope as the Beast of Revelation and / or Roman Catholicism as Mystery Babylon are still common among Protestants.
Clearly, anyone with this view is not going to “warm up” to Rome any time soon.

For the most part, today at least, the animosity comes from basic human nature when dealing with fundamental disagreement over eternal truths.
Passions are sure to ignite in the more weighty matters of life, and one's faith is (or at least should be) at the top of the heap. Many Protestants think Roman Catholics teach a works-gospel that cannot save, while Roman Catholics think Protestants teach easy-believism that requires nothing more than an emotional outburst brought on by manipulative preaching. Protestants accuse Catholics of worshipping Mary, and Catholics think Protestants are apparently too dull to understand the distinctions Rome has made in this regard.
These caricatures are often difficult to overcome.

Behind the particular disagreements over the role of faith and works, the sacraments, the canon of Scripture, the role of the priesthood, prayers to saints, and all the issues surrounding Mary and the Pope, etc., lies the biggest rift between Roman Catholicism and Protestantism: the issue of authority. How one answers the authority question will generally inform all the other issues.
When it comes down to deciding a theological issue about defined Catholic dogma, there isn’t really much to discuss on the Catholic's side because once Rome speaks, it is settled.
This is a problem when trying to debate a Roman Catholic – reason and Scripture are not the Catholic’s final authority; they can always retreat into the “safe zone” of Roman Catholic authority.

Thus, many of the arguments between a Protestant and a Catholic will revolve around one's “private interpretation” of Scripture as against the "official teachings of the Roman Catholic Church."
Catholics claim to successfully avoid the legitimate problems of private interpretation by their reliance on their tradition.
But this merely pushes the question back a step. The truth is that both Roman Catholics and Protestants must, in the end, rely upon their reasoning abilities (to choose their authority) and their interpretive skills (to understand what that authority teaches) in order to determine what they will believe.
Protestants are simply more willing to admit that this is the case.

Both sides can also be fiercely loyal to their family's faith or the church they grew up in without much thought to doctrinal arguments. Obviously, there are a lot of possible reasons for the division between Catholicism and Protestantism, and while we should not divide over secondary issues, both sides agree that we must divide when it comes to primary issues.
When it comes to Roman Catholicism and Protestantism, the differences are just too great to ignore. However, that does not give license for caricatures or ignorant judgments – both sides need to be honest in their assessments and try not to go beyond what God has revealed.

I can relate to Paul's story-when the snake had bitten him, the on lookers were waiting for him to die, but nothing happened to him, It just shows how true this story lines up with the truth.
I have been bitten by all sorts of creepy crawlers, I remember I was bitten on the chest by a whitetail spider, related to the red-backs, another deadly spider, after seeing a doctor-he couldn't believe what he had seen, these deadly spiders usually bite hard and deep and very poisoners, but this one didn't penetrate through my skin, it left it's mark-and redness covered my chest area, but the looks on the doctors face, showed he was in unbelief.
Recently I had been bitten again, while working around the garden area, I didn't feel the bite, but the after mark frightened me a little, I didn't know if it was a snake bite, the markings looked the same, I prayed, the after marks swelled, but no serious damage.
This just shows, the Word of God is a medicine that protects us from all evil that tries to harm us in anyway.

I have wondered why deceases only spread all through the poorer countries, Ebola was just one of them, what was the other country you speak off, scientist discovered Ebola as a new weapon against humanity, remember the Aids story, the public was told the Aids decease came from Africa.
Everything comes from scientist who are trying to push a point across, "without God" they believe they have control of everybody in the palms of their hands.

REACTIONS TO THE GOSPEL
TEXT: ACTS 28:24

"And some believed the things which were spoken, and some believed not" (Acts 28:24).

The gospel means good news. If so, how could anyone possibly reject it? It is sad, but true, how pride or prejudice has destroyed many. Take the Ebola case for example. The Ebola epidemic ravaged two West African countries in 2014 and 2015. Citizens of one country promptly opened up to medical intervention from the outside world. The disease was soon brought under control. Ill-informed citizens of the other nation mounted serious resistance to the intervention efforts. On September 16th 2014, eight members of a high-level delegation of doctors, politicians and journalists were murdered in that nation. Their bodies were disposed of in a latrine, and survivors pursued. The epidemic simply raged on, killing thousands. The gospel is your only hope. The good news of Christ's sacrifice on the cross for the sins of humanity will save those who believe it and damn those who reject it.

Are you a believer or a rejecter? Your response to the gospel bears eternal, irreversible outcomes either in heaven if you repent and believe or in hell if you refuse and rebel. Repent, believe, and be saved.

Challenge: "Man's unbelief does no harm to God's saving power"

Prayer: "Lord, I believe; save me by your grace in Jesus' name."

Quote: "The gospel is your only hope"

I am always looking out for a sincere discussion, but the problem is Uben you haven't given me a chance, and if you had explained yourself more clearly, which you never do, then I could explain my words, don't forget-it is visa versa you also shut me down without leaving an answer..
I don't know about you, but everything I hear about any Church, I head straight into the word of God, by doing so, I have found the differences between Christians in Churches and how most Church leaders have that much pull over the Church, no-one seems to question them.
Jesus said: "Test the spirits. {1 John 4}
Most believers I find, are not taught to test the spirits, most believers don't have time to study the Word of God, only because they are taught different doctrines, that doesn't concern the Word of God.
This forum had taught me a great deal-and just by reading about different beliefs, and studying the bible, stood out a mile, that not all people that call themselves Christians have that passion for Christ! "they would rather study other doctrines, that isn't scriptural, then turn themselves back to the basic's "God the Father.
"Dr evil struck When I had experience my shocking ordeal from the past, you jumped in and tried to destroy everything I wrote in remembrance.
If only you had a heart, try looking into a child's mind, instead of looking for a judge, sin through a priest had forced itself into a child, before that child was old enough to know what sin is, and prolonging Children into a prison system without reason, can cause a Child to be led down that wrong path in life.
Where did you leave that Christian heart of your's, man?
Is there anybody left in the Church that actually cares what roads these victims are taking, these Children suffered and are left to pick up the pieces, had anybody taking the time to learn what the main attractions are that leads them to drugs and suicide, young Children are left with the guilt the Church had laid upon them, It's leading them into homosexuality, our society is full of Gay couples running high, the gates of hell are open for gay marriages, "ordained priest forcing themselves upon children, because ordained priest have refuse to marry under God.
Can we image Jesus bowing down to Satan, sex in the city, "but Jesus stood His ground and said get behind Me Satan, you shall worship the lord your God, and Him only you shall serve. {Matthew 4:1-11}
It just shows who's leading the world and where its heading, the numbers are high how many people bow down each day before Satan?
The Woman Church refusing to marry, that's led, women refusing men, women taking the authority of a man, women leading countries in politics, women are taught they can do a man's job better, while the men sit at home looking after the children.
{1 Corinthians 11:3} Jesus said: I want you to realise that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of every woman is man, and the head of Christ is God.

Firstly instead of playing the blame game-try pulling the plank out of your eye, before trying to pull the speck out from mine, There's to many judges and not enough workers in Christ, Uben try reading some of the things I have written in the past, I have written to so many different organisations that claim to know Christ and yet refuses the Word of God, JW's, protestants that believe in other doctrines are no different then the Catholic Church who preaches it. Everybody that writes outside the square-is corrected by the Word of God.
Shame on you Uben-Is this a man thing, attacking me with such little words "Hypocrite is to big for a little man, I have seen you and your comrades in action Uben, when It comes to judgement you are always there standing amongst the wolves.

Christianity EtcRe: The Pentecostal Church Verses The Catholic Church. by brocab(op):
Could anybody answer these few question?
What draws people to the Catholic Church, does the Catholic Church hold higher values then other Churches?
Does the Church study the Word of God-or do they study other literature's that Rome claims to be the true Church of God?
{Ephesians 2:20} "Tells us the Church was built on the foundations of the apostles and prophets and Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone.
Through reading literature "The Roman Catholic Church have claimed the rock is Rome and Peter built the Church upon that rock, so if this is the case-then since there were 11 other apostles-equal to one another in Christ, around that time, they also laid down the rock which is the Word of God around the neighbourhoods, Rome believed in paganism, Peter believed in Christ, while paganism were loosing it's flavor, 'Rome needed more money in tithes and offerings, for a price, using force, they stop murdering the born again Christians, mixing paganism with Christianity, claiming "And on this Rock, Peter, I will build My Church.
Pagan Nero set fire to Rome, lied to Rome, blamed the Christians, and Rome murdered Pope Peter crucifying him upside down on the cross!.
Next question.
"Who gave Rome the power to lay down the unbiblical foundations, and why do people still believe the rock Jesus had quoted had anything to do with Peter building a Church made of brick and mortar in Rome?
Who gave the Catholic Church the authority to take on a one world religion, when Pope Francis denies Jesus is the only way into heaven, "And why do Catholic's call the Pope holy father, when we know, Pope Francis is just a man, and he can not lead us into heaven?
These are the very few questions, people ask everyday, that people refuse to answer.?
Christianity EtcRe: The Pentecostal Church Verses The Catholic Church. by brocab(op):
No-one is against the Catholic's, all Churches have faults, this is why-we need to get back to the Word of God, no-one is perfect-but God only.
No one is interested to criticise the Catholic's nor other believers around the globe, we criticise different doctrines, gospels that don't line up with the Word of God.
Every time someone steps out and preachers the Word of God is either rebuked criticised, or physically tormented by other Christians, we are classed as haters against God and humanity.
Sharing the Word of God is one of the most loneliness walks everybody can experience, if they truly believed, not all Christians believe, "sharing the truth is a difficult task, just to be criticised, its a matter of believing in faith and stepping out that counts.
Life as a Christian is difficult, learning the Word of God and trying to share it's fruit-sharing the Word of God is difficult, not all Christians believe enough to know they don't hear the Word of God, because they don't practise the Word of God, 'these are disbelieving Christians that causes disputes and arguments among the brethren.
Reaching out-explaining the Word of God is not a crime against humanity, against religion, nor against God, but it's the Christians in this day and age who are persecuting the Church of God.
{Matthew 28:19} "Go out and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit.
Who crucified Christ? The Pharisees Christians crucifying Christians-Church or organisation, Christians are criticised by Christians. Stepping out and preaching the Word of God, from Jesus, to the disciples, Christians suffer persecution from fellow Christians.
So it's not about the people-it's about the unbiblical doctrines, that is working against our nations, and of course against God.
Christianity EtcRe: The Pentecostal Church Verses The Catholic Church. by brocab(op):
Am I supposed to reply to your non understanding of "0" 'Everything I have written is something to think about-it isn't about you personally-its about Churches that prefer pagan beliefs.
Nothing is a waste of time-when your Church is copping a lot of slack from the rest of the world, it's something I myself would take seriously, if I believed in the Roman Catholic Church, comparing it with the bible-and what I see in {Jeremiah} can really lay the truth out on the table-when I see the Church I am involved in-prefers themselves to be on the same lines of these, it would make me wonder 'whom I really worship.
Taking this chapter seriously-taking some notes wouldn't be a waste of ink, which Church do you know, that burns incense and bakes cakes for the Queen of heaven?
Who do you know that claims Mary to be the Queen of heaven-Mother of God? Take note, how the bible is written..
Furthermore: Jesus Himself issued a mild rebuke to a woman who cried out to Him, "Blessed is the mother who gave you birth and nursed you" {Luke 11:27} replying to her, "Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it." By doing so, He curtailed any tendency to elevate Mary as an object of worship.
He could certainly have said, “Yes, blessed be the Queen of Heaven!” But He did not.
He was affirming the same truth that the Bible affirms-there is no queen of heaven, and the only biblical references to the “queen of heaven” refer to the goddess of an idolatrous, false religion.
"Open your eye's and ears, Is this the Catholic Church, that recognises Mary as the Queen of heaven?
There is no queen of heaven. There has never been a queen of heaven, "The idea that Mary, the mother of Jesus, is the queen of heaven has no scriptural basis whatsoever.
Instead, the idea of Mary as the queen of heaven stems from proclamations of Priests and Popes of the Roman Catholic Church.
This can only be a waste of ink-to those who are blinded by Churches who haven't the slightest idea how the spirit of the lord reins within, to even recognise this discernment about any Church memebers that bows down to the above.
It isn't a hidden agenda around the globe-I have heard many Catholic's call Mary the Queen of heaven Mother of God, "not everyone in the Church see's Mary the same, they walk past her image and sits.
The questioned always asked "Why do Catholics call Mother Mary "Queen of Heaven and Earth"?
vatiqan:
Cld nt read. but all I see on this waste of ink are thrash, thrash, and thrash. thanx.

When I say it took me all day to read, meaning I had read what you had written-and plus what information would you like me to correct, that I believe, you believe there is a Christ, or is there something else on your mind, I could think of many misquotes the Catholic Church have said and done.
I wasn't looking for an argument, but since you are offering, I thought I may let this one go Just for safety reasons-Does this sound like the Catholic Church below? Is this what the Catholic Church do, they burn incense and make cakes, to Queen of heaven Mother of heaven, and pour out drink offerings to other gods...{Jeremiah 7:17-18}
{Jeremiah 44}
{1 The word that came to Jeremiah concerning all the Jews who dwell in the land of Egypt, who dwell at Migdol, at Tahpanhes, at Noph,[a] and in the country of Pathros, saying,
{2 “Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: ‘You have seen all the calamity that I have brought on Jerusalem and on all the cities of Judah; and behold, this day they are a desolation, and no one dwells in them,
{3 because of their wickedness which they have committed to provoke Me to anger, in that they went to burn incense and to serve other gods whom they did not know, they nor you nor your fathers.
{4 However I have sent to you all My servants the prophets, rising early and sending them, saying, “Oh, do not do this abominable thing that I hate!”
{5 But they did not listen or incline their ear to turn from their wickedness, to burn no incense to other gods.
{6 So My fury and My anger were poured out and kindled in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem; and they are wasted and desolate, as it is this day.’
{7 “Now therefore, thus says the Lord, the God of hosts, the God of Israel: ‘Why do you commit this great evil against yourselves, to cut off from you man and woman, child and infant, out of Judah, leaving none to remain,
{8 in that you provoke Me to wrath with the works of your hands, burning incense to other gods in the land of Egypt where you have gone to dwell, that you may cut yourselves off and be a curse and a reproach among all the nations of the earth?
{9 Have you forgotten the wickedness of your fathers, the wickedness of the kings of Judah, the wickedness of their wives, your own wickedness, and the wickedness of your wives, which they committed in the land of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?
{10 They have not been humbled, to this day, nor have they feared; they have not walked in My law or in My statutes that I set before you and your fathers.’
{11 “Therefore thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: ‘Behold, I will set My face against you for catastrophe and for cutting off all Judah. {12 And I will take the remnant of Judah who have set their faces to go into the land of Egypt to dwell there, and they shall all be consumed and fall in the land of Egypt. They shall be consumed by the sword and by famine. They shall die, from the least to the greatest, by the sword and by famine; and they shall be an oath, an astonishment, a curse and a reproach!
{13 For I will punish those who dwell in the land of Egypt, as I have punished Jerusalem, by the sword, by famine, and by pestilence,
{14 so that none of the remnant of Judah who have gone into the land of Egypt to dwell there shall escape or survive, lest they return to the land of Judah, to which they desire to return and dwell. For none shall return except those who escape.’”
{15 Then all the men who knew that their wives had burned incense to other gods, with all the women who stood by, a great multitude, and all the people who dwelt in the land of Egypt, in Pathros, answered Jeremiah, saying:
{16 “As for the word that you have spoken to us in the name of the Lord, we will not listen to you!
{17 But we will certainly do whatever has gone out of our own mouth, to burn incense to the queen of heaven and pour out drink offerings to her, as we have done, we and our fathers, our kings and our princes, in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem. For then we had plenty of food, were well-off, and saw no trouble. {
{18 But since we stopped burning incense to the queen of heaven and pouring out drink offerings to her, we have lacked everything and have been consumed by the sword and by famine.”
{19 The women also said, “And when we burned incense to the queen of heaven and poured out drink offerings to her, did we make cakes for her, to worship her, and pour out drink offerings to her without our husbands’ permission?”
{20 Then Jeremiah spoke to all the people—the men, the women, and all the people who had given him that answer—saying:
{21 “The incense that you burned in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem, you and your fathers, your kings and your princes, and the people of the land, did not the Lord remember them, and did it not come into His mind?
{22 So the Lord could no longer bear it, because of the evil of your doings and because of the abominations which you committed. Therefore your land is a desolation, an astonishment, a curse, and without an inhabitant, as it is this day.
{23 Because you have burned incense and because you have sinned against the Lord, and have not obeyed the voice of the Lord or walked in His law, in His statutes or in His testimonies, therefore this calamity has happened to you, as at this day.”
{24 Moreover Jeremiah said to all the people and to all the women, “Hear the word of the Lord, all Judah who are in the land of Egypt!
{25 Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, saying: ‘You and your wives have spoken with your mouths and fulfilled with your hands, saying, “We will surely keep our vows that we have made, to burn incense to the queen of heaven and pour out drink offerings to her.” You will surely keep your vows and perform your vows!’
{26 Therefore hear the word of the Lord, all Judah who dwell in the land of Egypt: ‘Behold, I have sworn by My great name,’ says the Lord, ‘that My name shall no more be named in the mouth of any man of Judah in all the land of Egypt, saying, “The Lord God lives.”
{27 Behold, I will watch over them for adversity and not for good. And all the men of Judah who are in the land of Egypt shall be consumed by the sword and by famine, until there is an end to them.
{28 Yet a small number who escape the sword shall return from the land of Egypt to the land of Judah; and all the remnant of Judah, who have gone to the land of Egypt to dwell there, shall know whose words will stand, Mine or theirs.
{29 And this shall be a sign to you,’ says the Lord, ‘that I will punish you in this place, that you may know that My words will surely stand against you for adversity.’

That took me all day to read, I did enjoy reading your book, not only did Christ anoint priest prophet and king.
Jesus anointed: {Ephesians 4:11} He gave some Apostles, some Prophets, some Evangelist, and some Pastors and teachers.
"And everyone that believes, God had given us each of these gifts to share His anointing through Christ...
It was an enjoyable sermon you had written, and clearly of course it shows you believe, your Church, like every other Church is part of the puzzle, but what argument we have, most Churches preach bits and pieces of the Word of God, adding another doctrine, that isn't scriptural to bible knowledge-we are not arguing over the Word of God, it's the adding and removing-that causes disputes among the brethren.
I have no reason not to believe, you believe in Christ, but not only do you believe in Christ, the Catholic's believe in worship-something else other then Christ.

THE CHURCH - PEOPLE OF GOD
781 "At all times and in every race, anyone who fears
God and does what is right has been acceptable to him.
He has, however, willed to make men holy and save
them, not as individuals without any bond or link
between them, but rather to make them into a people
who might acknowledge him and serve him in holiness.
He therefore chose the Israelite race to be his own
people and established a covenant with it. He gradually
instructed this people. . . . All these things, however,
happened as a preparation for and figure of that new and
perfect covenant which was to be ratified in Christ . . .
the New Covenant in his blood; he called together a race
made up of Jews and Gentiles which would be one, not
according to the flesh, but in the Spirit." 201
Characteristics of the People of God
782 The People of God is marked by characteristics that
clearly distinguish it from all other religious, ethnic,
political, or cultural groups found in history:
- It is the People of God : God is not the property of any
one people. But he acquired a people for himself from
those who previously were not a people: "a chosen race,
a royal priesthood, a holy nation." 202
- One becomes a member of this people not by a physical
birth, but by being "born anew," a birth "of water and the
Spirit," 203 that is, by faith in Christ, and Baptism.
- This People has for its Head Jesus the Christ (the
anointed, the Messiah). Because the same anointing, the
Holy Spirit, flows from the head into the body, this is
"the messianic people."
- "The status of this people is that of the dignity and
freedom of the sons of God, in whose hearts the Holy
Spirit dwells as in a temple."
- "Its law is the new commandment to love as Christ
loved us." 204 This is the "new" law of the Holy Spirit.205
- Its mission is to be salt of the earth and light of the
world. 206 This people is "a most sure seed of unity,
hope, and salvation for the whole human race."
- Its destiny , finally, "is the Kingdom of God which has
been begun by God himself on earth and which must be
further extended until it has been brought to perfection
by him at the end of time." 207
A priestly, prophetic, and royal people
783 Jesus Christ is the one whom the Father anointed
with the Holy Spirit and established as priest, prophet,
and king. The whole People of God participates in these
three offices of Christ and bears the responsibilities for
mission and service that flow from them.
208
784 On entering the People of God through faith and
Baptism, one receives a share in this people's unique,
priestly vocation: "Christ the Lord, high priest taken from
among men, has made this new people 'a kingdom of
priests to God, his Father.' The baptized, by regeneration
and the anointing of the Holy Spirit, are consecrated to be
a spiritual house and a holy priesthood." 209
785 "The holy People of God shares also in Christ's
prophetic office," above all in the supernatural sense of
faith that belongs to the whole People, lay and clergy,
when it "unfailingly adheres to this faith . . . once for all
delivered to the saints," 210 and when it deepens its
understanding and becomes Christ's witness in the midst
of this world.
786 Finally, the People of God shares in the royal office
of Christ. He exercises his kingship by drawing all men
to himself through his death and Resurrection. 211 Christ,
King and Lord of the universe, made himself the servant
of all, for he came "not to be served but to serve, and to
give his life as a ransom for many." 212 For the Christian,
"to reign is to serve him," particularly when serving "the
poor and the suffering, in whom the Church recognizes
the image of her poor and suffering founder." 213 The
People of God fulfills its royal dignity by a life in keeping
with its vocation to serve with Christ.
The sign of the cross makes kings of all those reborn in
Christ and the anointing of the Holy Spirit consecrates
them as priests, so that, apart from the particular service
of our ministry, all spiritual and rational Christians are
recognized as members of this royal race and sharers in
Christ's priestly office. What, indeed, is as royal for a soul
as to govern the body in obedience to God? And what is
as priestly as to dedicate a pure conscience to the Lord
and to offer the spotless offerings of devotion on the
altar of the heart? 214
II. THE CHURCH - BODY OF CHRIST
The Church is communion with Jesus
787 From the beginning, Jesus associated his disciples
with his own life, revealed the mystery of the Kingdom to
them, and gave them a share in his mission, joy, and
sufferings.215 Jesus spoke of a still more intimate
communion between him and those who would follow
him: "Abide in me, and I in you. . . . I am the vine, you
are the branches." 216 And he proclaimed a mysterious
and real communion between his own body and ours:
"He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides in
me, and I in him." 217
788 When his visible presence was taken from them,
Jesus did not leave his disciples orphans. He promised
to remain with them until the end of time; he sent them
his Spirit.218 As a result communion with Jesus has
become, in a way, more intense: "By communicating his
Spirit, Christ mystically constitutes as his body those
brothers of his who are called together from every
nation." 219
789 The comparison of the Church with the body casts
light on the intimate bond between Christ and his
Church. Not only is she gathered around him; she is
united in him, in his body. Three aspects of the Church
as the Body of Christ are to be more specifically noted:
the unity of all her members with each other as a result
of their union with Christ; Christ as head of the Body;
and the Church as bride of Christ.
"One Body"
790 Believers who respond to God's word and become
members of Christ's Body, become intimately united with
him: "In that body the life of Christ is communicated to
those who believe, and who, through the sacraments,
are united in a hidden and real way to Christ in his
Passion and glorification." 220 This is especially true of
Baptism, which unites us to Christ's death and
Resurrection, and the Eucharist, by which "really sharing
in the body of the Lord, . . . we are taken up into
communion with him and with one another." 221
791 The body's unity does not do away with the diversity
of its members: "In the building up of Christ's Body there
is engaged a diversity of members and functions. There
is only one Spirit who, according to his own richness and
the needs of the ministries, gives his different gifts for
the welfare of the Church." 222 The unity of the Mystical
Body produces and stimulates charity among the
faithful: "From this it follows that if one member suffers
anything, all the members suffer with him, and if one
member is honored, all the members together
rejoice." 223 Finally, the unity of the Mystical Body
triumphs over all human divisions: "For as many of you
as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is
neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free,
there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in
Christ Jesus." 224

"Christ is the Head of this Body"
792 Christ "is the head of the body, the Church." 225 He
is the principle of creation and redemption. Raised to the
Father's glory, "in everything he [is] preeminent," 226
especially in the Church, through whom he extends his
reign over all things.
793 Christ unites us with his Passover: all his members
must strive to resemble him, "until Christ be formed" in
them.227 "For this reason we . . . are taken up into the
mysteries of his life, . . . associated with his sufferings
as the body with its head, suffering with him, that with
him we may be glorified." 228
794 Christ provides for our growth : to make us grow
toward him, our head, 229 he provides in his Body, the
Church, the gifts and assistance by which we help one
another along the way of salvation.
795 Christ and his Church thus together make up the
"whole Christ" (Christus totus ). The Church is one with
Christ. The saints are acutely aware of this unity:
Let us rejoice then and give thanks that we have become
not only Christians, but Christ himself. Do you
understand and grasp, brethren, God's grace toward us?
Marvel and rejoice: we have become Christ. For if he is
the head, we are the members; he and we together are
the whole man. . . . The fullness of Christ then is the
head and the members. But what does "head and
members" mean? Christ and the Church. 230
Our redeemer has shown himself to be one person with
the holy Church whom he has taken to himself.231
Head and members form as it were one and the same
mystical person. 232]
A reply of St. Joan of Arc to her judges sums up the
faith of the holy doctors and the good sense of the
believer: "About Jesus Christ and the Church, I simply
know they're just one thing, and we shouldn't
complicate the matter." 233
The Church is the Bride of Christ
796 The unity of Christ and the Church, head and
members of one Body, also implies the distinction of the
two within a personal relationship. This aspect is often
expressed by the image of bridegroom and bride. The
theme of Christ as Bridegroom of the Church was
prepared for by the prophets and announced by John the
Baptist. 234 The Lord referred to himself as the
"bridegroom." 235 The Apostle speaks of the whole
Church and of each of the faithful, members of his
Body, as a bride "betrothed" to Christ the Lord so as to
become but one spirit with him. 236 The Church is the
spotless bride of the spotless Lamb. 237 "Christ loved the
Church and gave himself up for her, that he might
sanctify her." 238 He has joined her with himself in an
everlasting covenant and never stops caring for her as
for his own body: 239
This is the whole Christ, head and body, one formed
from many . . . whether the head or members speak, it is
Christ who speaks. He speaks in his role as the head (ex
persona capitis ) and in his role as body ( ex persona
corporis ). What does this mean? "The two will become
one flesh. This is a great mystery, and I am applying it to
Christ and the Church." 240 And the Lord himself says in
the Gospel: "So they are no longer two, but one
flesh." 241 They are, in fact, two different persons, yet
they are one in the conjugal union, . . . as head, he calls
himself the bridegroom, as body, he calls himself "bride." 242
III. THE CHURCH IS THE TEMPLE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
797 "What the soul is to the human body, the Holy Spirit
is to the Body of Christ, which is the Church." 243 "To
this Spirit of Christ, as an invisible principle, is to be
ascribed the fact that all the parts of the body are joined
one with the other and with their exalted head; for the
whole Spirit of Christ is in the head, the whole Spirit is in
the body, and the whole Spirit is in each of the
members." 244 The Holy Spirit makes the Church "the
temple of the living God": 245
Indeed, it is to the Church herself that the "Gift of God"
has been entrusted. . . . In it is in her that communion
with Christ has been deposited, that is to say: the Holy
Spirit, the pledge of incorruptibility, the strengthening of
our faith and the ladder of our ascent to God. . . . For
where the Church is, there also is God's Spirit; where
God's Spirit is, there is the Church and every grace. 246
798 The Holy Spirit is "the principle of every vital and
truly saving action in each part of the Body." 247 He
works in many ways to build up the whole Body in
charity: 248 by God's Word "which is able to build you
up"; 249 by Baptism, through which he forms Christ's
Body; 250 by the sacraments, which give growth and
healing to Christ's members; by "the grace of the
apostles, which holds first place among his gifts";251 by
the virtues, which make us act according to what is
good; finally, by the many special graces (called
"charisms"wink, by which he makes the faithful "fit and
ready to undertake various tasks and offices for the
renewal and building up of the Church.

"The Catholic Church is not the only Church that has problems such as these within the Church structures.
The Pope claims to be GOD ON EARTH.
Throughout the centuries of Rome's existence, the popes have regularly claimed to be divine. As the supposed successor of Peter, the Pope claims infallibility, the position of God on Earth, and ability to judge and excommunicate angels.

This belief has so assimilated into society's thinking that it is believed by many beyond Catholic circles. According to TIME, Pope John Paul II's assassination attempt prompted a young Jewish man to say, "shooting the Pope—It's like shooting God."ii
In 1512 Christopher Marcellus said this to Pope Julius II:
Take care that we lose not that salvation, that life and breath which thou hast given us, for thou art our shepherd, thou art our physician, thou art our governor, thou art our husbandman, thou art finally another God on earth (emphasis added).iii
Just recently, in 2004, Bishop Patrick Dunn of Auckland said this: "It seems that Pope John Paul II now presides over the universal Church from his place upon Christ's cross.iv
The Gloss of Extravagantes of Pope John XXII says this: But to believe that our Lord God the Pope the establisher of said decretal, and of this, could not decree, as he did decree, should be accounted heretical (emphasis added).v

Pope Leo XIII said these things about the role of the Papacy and the Roman Church: Our thoughts went out towards the immense multitude of those who are strangers to the gladness that filled all Catholic hearts: some because they lie in absolute ignorance of the Gospel; others because they dissent from the Catholic belief, though they bear the name of Christians.
This thought has been, and is, a source of deep concern to Us; for it is impossible to think of such a large portion of mankind deviating, as it were, from the right path, as they move away from Us, and not experience a sentiment of innermost grief. But since We hold upon this earth the place of God Almighty...viii
But the supreme teacher in the Church is the Roman Pontiff. Union of minds, therefore, requires, together with a perfect accord in the one faith, complete submission and obedience of will to the Church and to the Roman Pontiff, as to God Himself.ix
And more recently, Pope John Paul II wrote that names like "Holy Father" are applicable to the Pope, even though calling him that is counter to the Gospel: Have no fear when people call me the "Vicar of Christ," when they say to me "Holy Father," or "Your Holiness," or use titles similar to these, which seem even inimical to the Gospel.x
In 1996 he also gave his ascent to calling the Pope "Lord" and "Christ on earth": we readily understand the devotion of Saint Francis of Assisi for "the Lord Pope",the daughterly outspokenness of Saint Catherine of Siena towards the one whom she called "sweet Christ on earth", the apostolic obedience and the sentire cum Ecclesia of Saint Ignatius Loyola, and the joyful profession of faith made by Saint Teresa of Avila: "I am a daughter of the Church" (emphases added).xi
Many Compare the Pope with Jesus
The Papacy is not the only source of papal infallibility doctrine. Many Catholics and others use the titles of Christ to describe the Pope, as seen in the video below. This video is featured in the lecture That All May Be One by Professor Walter Veith. Purchase the DVD from the Amazing Discoveries™ webstore or view the lecture on Amazing Discoveries™ TV.
The Doctrine of Papal Infallibility is UnBiblical

It is clear that "the Popes have never reproved or rejected this title"xii of blasphemy and flattery, but the Bible does not support the belief of papal infallibility. It declares that "all of sinned and come short of the glory of God" (Roman 3:23). This includes the Pope. These boasts of the Papal State fulfill the Bible's prediction of what the Antichrist power would do:
And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws...(Daniel 7:25).
And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven (Revelation 13:5-6).

I Just think marriage will be a better solution for any minister of Christ, it shows the human race can't possibly make that promise to God-thru shalt not lust over another human being.
It's a very difficult ask, since Adam being the first man, didn't have a clue about life, and he still lusted for a female.
{Matthew 5:28} But I tell you, for anyone who looks at a woman lustfully, have already committed adultery with her in his heart.
Through medical terms-yes some can't physically have sex, mentally just looking at someone lustfully have committed adultery.
And none have seceded to make that promise to God.
{Ecclesiastes 5:5-6}It is better not to make a promise, than to make one and not keep it.
Don't let your mouth make you sin, and don't defend yourself by telling the temple messenger that the promise you made was a mistake. That would make God angry, and He might wipe out everything you have achieved.
{Matthew 5:33-36} Again you have heard that it was said to the people long ago, do not break your oath, but fulfill to the Lord the vows you have made, "But I tell you do not swear an oath at all" either by heaven, for it is God's throne; or by the earth, for it is His footstool; or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great king.
Jesus tells us not to make any promises 'He knows we can't keep.
{Proverbs 20:25} Don't trap yourself by making a rash promise to God.
{Ecclesiastes 5:2} When you make a promise to God, don't delaying in following through, for God takes no pleasure in fools. Keep all the promises you make to Him.
It's a risk to take, when we know we can't keep these promises, we all lust for something, just looking can cause us to sin, In the other hand men and women in ministry, who are married and have lust for another have already committed sin against God.
Ubenedictus:
no Catholic has denied peter was married.

the Catholic Church simply agrees with scriptures when she teaches that to be unmarried is better in other to serve God.

if you cannot stay unmarried after you had previously made up your mind to do so...then there is a way to ask to be married.
Christianity EtcRe: The Pentecostal Church Verses The Catholic Church. by brocab(op):
In the Catholic Church is the Pope class as the head of the Church, or is he, head of the woman just like Jesus ordain him to be! Or is he just part of the authority under the Roman Catholic Church?
The New Testament make it clear who the head of the church is, Jesus Christ. {Colossians 1:17–18} teaches, “And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church.” This passage makes a brief comparison between the human body and the church. The church is the body, and Jesus is the head. Jesus was before all things and holds all things together. This includes the church as well. so what do you believe, is the Pope the head of the Catholic Church, or is he just another priest pastor, who have taken on the authority God had given him.
Just think if the Pope decided to be married, his wife would be Queen Mother of God, she would be the first lady to the nations, she would be another Mary living to bring the world together.
In the bible {Ephesians 5:22–25} speaks of the relationship between husband and wife and includes the teaching of Jesus as head of the church: If Pope's, priest married, just think, the world will be a better place.

“Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her.”

In this passage, wives are to submit to their husbands as the church submits to Christ, and husbands are to sacrificially love their wives in the way Christ was willing to die for the church. In this context, Jesus is called the “head of the church, his body.” He is also called its Savior.

What does it mean to be the head of the church? Both {Colossians 1 and Ephesians 5} emphasize the leadership of Christ and His power. In Colossians, Christ is head because He holds all things together. In Ephesians, Christ is head because He is Savior.

The implications of this teaching are profound. First, church leaders are to surrender ultimate leadership to the Lord Jesus Christ. {John 5:43} Jesus said: I have come in My Fathers name, and you do not accept Me, but if someone else comes in his own name, you will accept him. I have seen the Pope in action, he had come in his own name, and people glorify him as God on earth.
Jesus is the One who leads and determines the teachings and practices of the church. Church members are to follow Christ first and earthly leaders second, as those leaders are suppose to emulate Christ (see 1 Corinthians 11:1 and 1 Peter 5:3–4)

Second, the love Jesus has for the church is expressed in His desire that we also love the church. The church is not a building or organization like the Vatican-or any Church that was built by men in this matter, but a group of people who know and worship Jesus. Christians are taught, “Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing because of the disagreements we have with other Churches, but encouraging one another, it shouldn't matter which Church we belong too, as long as we follow the same doctrines and worship the same Christ—and all the more as you see the Day approaching” (Hebrews 10:24–25) Regular connection with other believers honors the Lord, encourages us personally as believers, and allows us to encourage and serve others.

While every church will have its own local leaders, Pope's have leaderships-but the ultimate leader of any church is the Lord Jesus. He said, “I will build my church” (Matthew 16:18, emphasis added); it belongs to Him. He is the head of the body and the only One with the power to adequately lead and love the church.
Christianity EtcRe: The Pentecostal Church Verses The Catholic Church. by brocab(op):
Very nice to talk with you again Uben-In speech none of you Catholic's mentioned Peter was married, I suppose Peters wife would be like another Joseph, no-one mentions the roles they played. I am sure your bible also say's, but if they cannot control themselves, for it is better to marry then to burn {1 Corinthians 7:9}
My bible also contains, He who marries a virgin does right, but he who does not marry her, does better {1 Corinthians 7:38}
But which of these verses does the Church actually stand by?
While the world contains religious men and women, that burn with passion, not only for the opposite sex, as young as 7 to 70 years, man and woman sexually abusing 1 to 16 year old children; "this just shows these men and woman are not grounded enough in the Word of God to be single ministers.
And if Peter is the first Pope, why than didn't the Church follow after his good examples, obviously Peter knew how difficult it could be standing alone for Christ in Church, these days women go for those in authority rather than those who are not, "why do Pope's priest pastors feel they are ordained to take their needs as far as their limits can go? This does not give us a good reason for these Ministers to continual to live alone, ministers such as these are not strong in the Word of God..
Pope's priest pastors that have these desires should marry, Adam needed Eve visa versa-Adam was the first Minister, Peter followed Adams good examples, I also follow them, "Ministers have needs like Adam, we all burn with passion, this would help support this generation to know marrying the opposite sex, is not a crime against humanity, nor is it against God Almighty Himself. "Marriage can save a multitude of sexual behaviour of wrong doing.
If the Church had Jesus's skills, in keeping His control without sin, I would agree-none burn with passion, Adam was made to multiply, same as the animals two of every kind "Male and female.
Ubenedictus:
I never denied peter was once married... after him so were many priest... we still have such.

but sorry I disagree with the epistle you wrote above.

my Bible says he who marries does well but he who doesn't does better... it goes further to say it is better to be single so as to be devoted to Christ and describes marriage as a distraction... so the Catholic Church is happy to also have celibate clergy.

It is written, there is no one righteous, not even one. {Romans 3:10}
The lord is righteous in all His ways and faithful in all He does. {Psalm 145:17}
The Lord looks down from heaven on the sons of men to see if there are any who understand, any who seek God”

Uben this is a change from you, some centuries ago, you denied Peter even having a wife.
Popes priest pastors that married obeyed the law of Christ, a marriage can do wonders it can help support their ministries.
Paul said: if we burn with passion it is best to get married, as humans we all burn with passions for the opposite sex. Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve.
Every minister travelling the world should be married, Men alone preaching the Word of God-can cause problems in the community, especially around women.
Unmarried Pope's, that burn with passion should be married, there are to many wrongs in the world with priest not married, and to make a vow with God-doesn't give anybody the rights to burn in passion for the wrong reasons.
Within the Governments we have the first lady, she of course has the countries full respect, Just think how life could be, if the Pope decided to marry, from a wife-mothers heart, the lost will be found, the hungry will eat, the thirsty will drink, the strangers will no longer be strangers, the sick will get well, those in prison will be released.
Everything you all have expected Mary to be, will finely come alive in the natural.
Ubenedictus:
so you aren't aware that many popes were married? so were many bishops and even today you may find married priest?

of course peter was married so were others after him.

Or maybe I am more then just a sign post, sharing the Word of God to people who have an interest in reading it, I can't please everybody, and I am not expecting to please you, call me what you please, its only words from a fool, that's right I don't agree on tithing, its unbiblical, get used to it, if you don't like it, turn the page.
Obviously you haven't taken into account, I am also writing stuff from my own experiences, but a little copying doesn't go are stray, plus it suits me fine knowing the Lord is speaking through others that tithing isn't biblical, obviously you aren't allowing the lord to speak to you, not while the cash is flowing in all directions..
Tithers can't seem to see the differences between the law of Christ and the Mosaic law, and tithing isn't a love offering..
And if you are a tither For example, the "new" "Law of Love" is NOT the Mosaic Law of the Old Covenant!
{Romans 8:2} For the law of the spirit of life is Christ Jesus, He had made me free from the law of sin and death.
When a preacher stands in the pulpit and insists that Christians must pay ten percent of their gross income to the church, that preacher is not grounded in Bible basics about the covenants, the law, national Israel, and the church, "He is not "rightly dividing the word of truth" (2 Tim. 2:15)
He is preaching "another gospel" your gospel that is "perverting the gospel" (Gal. 1:6-7) While Paul said that he had "fully preached the gospel of Christ" and that he had "kept back nothing that was profitable", tithing is not once encouraged by Paul (Rom. 15:19; Acts 20:20) If the epistle of Hebrews is not written by Paul (as many think), then the word "tithe" never appears in his writings. But in a tithers case, they prefer to stay under the law of sin and death..
As previously mentioned, churches that preach tithing based on texts from the Mosaic Law have missed the differences between law and grace, the old and new covenants, and Israel and the church.
First, they preach a tithing message to believers who are dead to that law (Rom. 7:4)
Second, they preach a weak and unprofitable law that has ended at Calvary (Heb. 7:18)
Third, they preach a law that has absolutely no glory and, therefore, no power to revive the church (2 Cor. 3:10)
Fourth, they preach a law that has been canceled, blotted out, nailed to the cross, abolished annulled, and that has long since faded away, because it was obsolete (2 Corinthians. 3:11; Ephesians. 2:15; Col. 2:14; Heb. 7:18; 8:13)
Tithing, as part of the Mosaic Law, is now a spiritless, revival-less doctrine.
Tithing turns a good Christian into a fearful legalist who is afraid of the wrath and curse of God if he/she does not "pay up." It drives many away from the church because they are too poor to give 10% of their gross income. It also deprives well-qualified poor members from holding church leadership positions. Isn't that the truth.
And if you hate this page, don't worry i will give you more to fill up your day.,

If my page offends you, turn the page, "And leave the truth outstanding for the next person who's interested in knowing the truth about the unbiblical doctrines on tithes.
I do know how it must be difficult for you, to know, I don't agree with you.
Prosperity pimps are robbing God, teaching an unbiblicial doctrine, that causes believers to be enslaved week by week, prosperity pastors expecting God's people to finance their building funds, their mega homes, cars etc-paying the bills, and expected to pay under a law that doesn't exist. Moses law the Mosaic law in tithes and offerings.
A tithers response would be: Jesus didn't abolish the law, "He fulfilled it. And a non tither would say: if Jesus fulfilled it, then we are no longer under the law, "as we know it, tithing was under the law .{Leviticus 27:30-33} Doesn't it surprise you, your pastor would rather have the money than have foodstuff that Moses ordained, and still you insist tithing money is the law..
{Romans 10:4} For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness for everyone who believes..
How do you believe in {1 Timothy 4:13} when you know yourself, you preach another doctrine? Or is this for someone else to read?

READ AND RE-READ
TEXT: 1 Timothy 4:13

"Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine" (1 Timothy 4:13).

In the words of Dick Eastman, "The person who spends time thinking the thoughts of God will find tremendous depth and understanding that will touch all areas of his life." Hence, every child of God must read and re-read the Scripture for better understanding and benefits. When you meditate on the Scripture, it brings spiritual strength and excitement to your spirit man. Meditating on God's word means, reading it prayerfully and thinking upon it, with the goal of obeying it. The word of God helps to provoke in you the revelation of God's secrets, which you need to receive the anointing of the Holy Spirit and become powerful and victorious in your spiritual life. Through meditation divine supernatural power is released into your atmosphere, bringing joy and rejoicing to your life.

Young people yearn for miracles and breakthroughs every day, but they forget that the secret lies in the scriptures. They seek human interventions to defeat their enemies, when such voices can be silenced through meditation on God's word. God wants His children to read and re-read His word for an exceedingly growing faith.

Challenge: "Avoid seeking human interventions to defeat your enemies?"

Prayer: "My God, teach me to constantly meditate on your word"

Quote: "The secret of miracles lies in the Scripture"

Bible Reading in one Year: 2 Timothy. 2:15; Psalms 119:97, 98

Question: "What does it mean that Christians are not under the law?"

Answer: An exposition of {Romans 10:4} which says: "Christ is the end of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes," will help in understanding what is means that Christians are not under the law. The apostle Paul clarifies the effects of original sin in {Romans 2:12} stating "All who sin apart from the law will perish apart from the law, and all who sin under the law will be judged by the law." All men stand condemned before God, whether they are Jews or not, or to put it another way, whether they have the Law of God or not. Paul also states "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23).

If we are without Christ, we are justly condemned in God’s sight by the Law that was given to His servant Moses. However, we might argue that those who are not Jewish and therefore do not benefit from the knowledge of the Mosaic Law (including the moral and ceremonial laws), should not be condemned in the same way. This is dealt with by the Apostle in {Romans 2:14-15} where he states that the Gentiles have the essence of God’s legal requirements already ingrained and so are just as much without excuse.

The Law is the issue that has to be dealt with in order to bring us into a right relationship with God. "Know that a man is not justified by observing the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by observing the law, because by observing the law no one will be justified" (Galatians 2:16) This passage reveals that the Law cannot justify or make righteous any man in God’s sight, which is why God sent His Son to completely fulfil the requirements of the Law for all those who would ever believe in Him.

Christ Jesus redeemed us from the curse that has been brought through the law by becoming a curse for us (Galatians 3:13). He substituted Himself in our place and upon the cross took the punishment that is justly ours so that we are no longer under the curse of the Law. In doing so, He fulfilled and upheld the requirements of the Law. This does not mean that Christians are to be lawless, as some advocate today—a teaching called antinomianism. Rather, it means that we are free from the Mosaic Law and instead under the law of Christ, which is to love God with all of our being and to love our neighbors as we love ourselves.

Christ became the end of the Law by virtue of what He did on earth through His sinless life and His sacrifice on the cross. So, the Law no longer has any bearing over us because its demands have been fully met in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Faith in Christ who satisfied the righteous demands of the Law restores us into a pleasing relationship with God and keeps us there. No longer under the penalty of the Law, we now live under the law of grace in the love of God.

I am not speaking from a "holier than thou" position here. I have been duped by this false system and I have used guilt-centered ways to get people to support some of the work I have done. "I am a man of unclean lips living in the midst of an unclean people," as Isaiah said. There is a right way to teach proper Christian giving. I do not say I have all the answers on the subject, but some of the methods and techniques we, (Christians in ministry) use to extract funds, are just outright sacrilegious!

I used to feel so unclean whenever I brought a visitor to a church who had to listen to an elder, deacon, evangelist, or the pastor himself spend a great deal of time laying on the guilt to make sure the offering was a "good" one. "Bring in your tithes and offerings unto the Lord." And then the plates, buckets, envelopes, bags, anything—whatever would hold a lot of cash would get passed around the church. Of course, every one could see whether you placed anything in the plate or not. In some churches, the pressure was even worse, they made you go up to the altar with your offering. I have been in churches where they passed that plate as many as 7 times in one service until the pastor felt there was enough in it. And we wonder why people don’t want to go to church. As far as I am concerned, no visitor should be pressured to give anything to a church. As a matter of fact, the fund-raising activity should be such that a visitor does not participate in that activity.

The Scriptures are abundantly clear, that the work of the Lord is to be done by His people, not the people of the world.

Churches are full of people who do not have a living relationship with our Father. They may bring in the bucks, but this mixture always corrupts downward to carnality and not upward toward the works of the Holy Spirit.

Free to Give Freely

Does not being under the Mosaic Law and its ordinances free us from the obligation of giving? Yes, and no. If you are giving out of fear placed in you by hard task masters (often in the form of ministers), or giving in order to get more back or a host of other reasons for giving stemming from fear and selfishness, then you are free to stop giving. He can keep this universe going without your help, financial or otherwise. God does not want your money! It is all His anyway. We just keep forgetting that. Perhaps the grave is a good reminder of that fact. See how much of what you think is yours will still belong to you on the other side of the grave. Some of us will be amazed at our emptiness, how little we actually have gathered in this lifetime. It is not too late to begin gathering things that will be yours to keep on the other side. Begin to ask the Holy Spirit about these kinds of possessions.

He wants our hearts! And when He has our hearts, He will fill them with Himself and we will give because that is His nature. He is a giver. Apart from His giving, the universe would cease to exist. It is by the giving of Himself that all things are sustained. He wants to give Himself through us. Why? Because He wants to bless us! He wants us to experience what it is to be like Him. He pours Himself out to the object of His love. As we give Him to the world through our obedience to the Law of the New Covenant, the law of Love (John 15:12,13), we give from His will, His gifts, His nature, His fruit, and we partake of it as we give it. He wants you to pass it on... and He wants to give it back. How?

"’I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’"

"Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’" (Matt. 25:35-40)

When we become the instruments in His hands to bless His creation, we ourselves are blessed. It truly is better to give than to receive. He made it that way. The only way one can be conformed into the image of Jesus Christ is to give. We are all in need of the Holy Spirit to convict us of our selfish ways so that we can be truly changed within.

We pray this publication will be helpful to the body of Christ in discerning the proper way to give and help to discern what kind of Christian activities to support. Much of what goes on in the name of Christ is nothing more than wood, hay, and stubble. May you be found faithful with the talents He has given you. May this publication be found helpful to you in the matter of giving.

We realize those ministers who repent and change their methods of fund-raising, will experience some profound changes. An organization viewed as a cult by most Evangelicals has recently changed its teachings regarding tithing. It used to teach the modern day tithe and in some years, a second and third tithe. It has dropped this teaching. This organization’s income dropped thirty per cent in the first year of the change. Programs such as their orchestra program had to be dropped.

And there is the rub. The cost of changing to Scriptural means of support will cost too much. Many ministers are not willing to let die the many projects they have begun. They would rather see the world starve to death than to dismantle their Christmas Cantata program, or their new steeple fund.

While we may think that only those who have been teaching this un-Biblical tithe should repent, it is just as important for those who have been tithing to clearly see that much of the fruit of their tithing has not produced good fruit; instead much of it has alienated the world from Christianity. In other words, we must all repent—those who teach it and those who give it.

In summary, because the tithe as taught by modern churches is not the New Testament way of giving, it will not produce the fruit of the New Covenant, neither for the people who tithe, nor the "programs" for which the money is used. Should we give? Graciously and abundantly! Should we support those who minister the Gospel? Even to the point of giving "double honor." They who preach the Gospel have a right to live from the Gospel (1Cor.9:3-13), even though it is often abused.

All Christians must never forget, however, that those in leadership and those not in leadership are priests, a royal priesthood. You, my dear Christian brother or sister, are to be a blessing to the world because you are ladened with gifts from above which He has called you to manifest in the earth. It is time to stop supporting wolves in sheep's clothing and be about your Father’s business. This will restore the joy of your salvation.

"Remember this—meagre sowing means meagre reaping; generous sowing means generous reaping. Each person must make up his own mind what he is going to give. He must not give as if giving hurt him, or as if the money was being forced out of him. God loves a man who enjoys giving. God can give you more than enough of every good gift, enough for you to have plenty for yourselves always and in any circumstances, and to have enough left over to contribute to every good cause." (2 Cor. 9:6-cool

"You must love your enemies; you must be kind to them; you must lend without hope of getting anything back. If you do that, you will receive a rich reward, and you will be like the Most High, for he is kind to the ungrateful and to the mean. You must show yourself merciful, as your Father is merciful.

Do not make a habit of judging people, and you will not be judged yourselves. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. Be generous, and you will find others generous to you. Good measure, close-packed, and shaken down, brimming over, will be poured into your lap. You will get in exactly the same proportion as you give." (Luke 6:35-38, William Barclay Translation)

Don"t be fools, slowly but surely the Lord will talk you tithers out of it, and come follow Him, it's crazy to even think tithing saves you...
