"....the country is now divided into two dueling factions — the “I’m going to wear my MAGA hat and punch you in the face if you disagree” group and the “I’m going to punch you in the face because of your MAGA hat” group. That political and cultural gulf virtually guarantees that this impeachment cannot end with any consensus like the one that emerged after the proceedings against Nixon and Clinton — that the system had worked." https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/as-goes-his-presidency-so-goes-his-impeachment-trump-disrupts-and-divides/2019/12/18/5755b986-2048-11ea-86f3-3b5019d451db_story.html |

ctleurocollege:She smart. She used the fame Nigeria gives her to go belong elsewhere and she'll be back to collect more fame. |
Girl Power! She can play too!

mekaboy:You make it sound as if na only northern farmers de grow rice. U na no de grow rice for your state or is border closure against rice only? |
macIB:Doctors are required to treat illnesses and not to cause disease as NMA is doing here. More news please so we know how they kill us. |
Kestolove:You want thief am? |
I hope you are all aware of the psychologies at play here, as in the way of thinking (or none) that makes some ignore the obvious that is before the eye and believe the crap they make up in their own heads, and how in these modern times with so many past giants on who's shoulders we stand on to see the very obvious can anyone in their right mind believe instead of actually doing research to know whether the earth is 'flat'? Goes to show a lack of basic education I'd say, with gratitude that this thread shows is rather delightfully uncommon situ since it is Physics as taught in primary school which everyone must have benefited from since Nigeria gives it free. Would you hire such ill-informed people to do more than jobs above their level if understanding is required? Would you be able to constructively collaborate with such people on anything technical or even real? Think to yourself if you would hire people who ignore all evidence presented to contradict their belief and wonder how they might work if basic reasoning were a job requirement and you might understand why so many are jobless in a world where skilled workers are scarce. Yet I can assure you they apply to be the ceo and want to be the boss and be paid the most. Pigs fly on a spherical/globe earth I guess, amusingly worried but delighted that lazy fuqs are so very few. |
Enwhen:We don't seem to know what serious is or our situation might just not be so bad perhaps. See serious in Pakistan Newsblenda: |
wirinet:Told you he debunked, on page one. |
wirinet:Yes now! Did they not charge you for their "notes or book"? Abeg, read notes jor. They were debunked on page one! |
sarrki:And governors are immune from prosecution! |
trutht828:Who's starving and wailing bubu? |
digitaltrades:I am not using "one rule to determine the fate of 200 million people as if everybody was a PDP member and stealing government money during Jonathan's government" or anyone's government, for that matter. But of course a lazy fuq like you would not even exercise your brain so how would you bother to see that I've repeatedly stated there's a lot of hard working Nigerians. There's in fact more hard working Nigerians than lazy fuqs and they didn't all vote APC and neither are we starving like you are. |
EMILO2STAY:Tell us about it! joyandfaith:What you see with your naked eye is an illusion the freemasons tatooed on your eyeballs while you slept. When you wake up you will indeed find that Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn do not really exist except as lights projected into the sky by Hollywood to deceive you that they are round. Thankfully, earth has been freed from the spherical/globe conspiracy. As you can see below with your naked eye, it is very flat.

trutht828:You purchasing power reduced due to an inefficient use of funds. You can't keep looting and expect it to be worth what it use to. But I don't expect you to factor that in. If only GEJ had run a second term you might have. Pity bubu won. |
trutht828:Of course people in Osogbo would not like to hear this but the fact that people don't like the truth does not in any way invalidate it. Still, I do tell them when they come begging and refuse to work that lazy fuqs must starve! https://www.nairaland.com/4508641/american-politics-thread/154#74436205 https://www.nairaland.com/4672249/kwankwaso-gets-sai-baba-treatment/6#70224719 |
azimo:Sharia can only be imposed on Nigeria if you fall asleep and I somehow doubt doubt you'd do that. And a Fulani man is not against civilization or they won't all have mobile phones, though I admit, their civilization is slow. |
azimo:I have experience good governance actually, and I know how countries get it too. The people buckle down and labour to make their nation civilized instead of clamouring for war and division and destruction. And good governance starts inside the individual who first learns to act civilly towards others instead of demonizing those they disagree with. |
azimo:Beats preaching destruction of the labours of our own past. But knock yourself out tearing Nigeria apart. |
azimo:I don't think people see everyone the same way just because of the passport one carries, not in my experience anyway, except in Nigeria where our own people have little respect for others. |
azimo:Yet, here are we. Treated as human beings wherever we go in the world and not like animals, as you claim. You forgot to mention the following. On November 12, 2014, the Central Bank of Nigeria issued a 100 naira commemorative note to celebrate the centennial of Nigeria's existence. The notes are similar to its regular issue with the portrait of Chief Obafemi Awolowo on the front, but are redesigned to include a new color scheme, revised security features, and the text "One Nigeria, Great Promise" in microprinting. |
Amujale:So tell. I'm in Nigeria, my home town village. Do I learn any KM.T? |
shigoslim:I'm from Osun and will state here that I find my state has a lot of lazy fuqs, and I do not agree that bubu should feed people in a federal republic like ours! Amujale would ask we read km.t but many can barely read Yoruba! However you look at it, there's a lot more to do to make our country a place we don't need to die in deserts to get away from, but if we are here approaching 2020 blaming 'our leaders' instead of recognising it is we that should lead ourselves and organise to do so, then yes, we all are lazy fuqs, and this is next level where lazy fuqs starve, together or separately! |
trutht828:buda actually thinks the people are hungry because they are too lazy to make food for themselves probably because they are the lazy fuqs that expect their leader to rain down manna from heaven so that they can eat, except we all know bubu na soja who don't feed lazy fuqs. I can assure you that there are very many Nigerians who are not hungry lazy fuqs working damn hard despite the hard conditions which would have been a lot worse if any other of the contenders for President had won. |
Amujale:My honest response is, here we are, so many bastardisations later, with no mass produced and readily available Ancient Egyptian text of any kind while much inferior texts are being peddled to us, basterdised, all be it, but containing a dna of the original Egypt and Africa we came from, and which naturally leads one back to the source in Egypt where research led you. Did the Word of God not open your eyes as it says it would do on the cover? Was it not your study of the Bible that led you to assert the claims you make here? "Africans have been writing documents and epistles of literature before civilisation", no doubt, but the record clearly shows publication, and making it readily available has not been very high on the agenda. A current example is the Islamic writings rotting away in Timbuktu and the lack of history teachers in our schools (as they are all in church, you might add). Here's some Rome. Let me know the wrong bits. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Egyptian_hieroglyphs?wprov=sfla1

Amujale:Its not exactly true that ancient Egyptian Mythology is more history than myth, Amujale, I'm sorry to say. Egyptian texts, heiroglyphs, specifically, were unreadable by the time of Ptolemy, by which time history of the past was already more mythical than historic. And unless your sources are not from western research, I feel you'd agree what we have is more hagiography than history since even most Egyptian history that we do have was copied, plagiarized and fabricated by westerners. They, at least, brought it to general awareness and without their input we'd know less. |
Amujale:You are asking us to fly when we are learning to crawl. We Nigerians are well known for not learning any history in school, so I just can't see us concentrate on any history not to talk of 'his story', as in the story according to a particular perspective. Though, looking at things, 'his story', as in a story according to a particular perspective, is precisely what we currently study instead of writing our own stories. And that's where the Bible or any such book comes in. Its by reading it and learning how it came about and by acquiring understanding that we stop being mere believers and learn to write our own as you'd note in societal evolution. |
