I'm posting these to get your opinion.

In a Burger King, a Filipino girl tells me it is "terrifying" for her to wander the malls in Dubai because Filipino maids or nannies always sneak away from the family they are with and beg her for help. "They say – 'Please, I am being held prisoner, they don't let me call home, they make me work every waking hour seven days a week.' At first I would say – my God, I will tell the consulate, where are you staying? But they never know their address, and the consulate isn't interested. I avoid them now. I keep thinking about a woman who told me she hadn't eaten any fruit in four years. They think I have power because I can walk around on my own, but I'm powerless."

It is an open secret that once you hire a maid, you have absolute power over her. You take her passport – everyone does; you decide when to pay her, and when – if ever – she can take a break; and you decide who she talks to. She speaks no Arabic. She cannot escape.

There will come a time when a states' allocation and igr will be insufficient to pay these pensions then Nigerians might say, "enough"!

Do you know what determines the approval rating of political leaders all over the world? It is the number of jobs lost and the number of jobs created under that political leader.

I guess you are too stuppid to realise that.
Go tell that to people in Osun State where jobs were gained but wages weren't paid.

I guess you think your measure is everyone's measure, and can't conceive that removing food from lazy fuqs like you might be the measure of some.

Buhari fails to fulfil electoral promise and your brain told you that it is the fault of lazy Nigerians. What an upside down brain you've got!

Don't worry if you can't remember your absurdity; it is because of your fast-progressing amnesia.
There's a thread on here somewhere blaming Osinbajo while Buhari is away, but that can't possibly figure in a lazy fuq like yous analysis.

Since you know the effect of a rising exchange rate, can you explain how $1 rose to 305 from 197 and what the govt was looking at while it happened.
I hope you're aware at one point in 2017, the exchange rate at the open market was 500 while official rate was 197. Kindly explain why Osinbajo a professor allowed CBN to devalue to 305 then to move closer to the open market value
Government policies through the years and the actions of Nigerians make the exchange rate rise. If government had their way, they'd gladly scrap the expensive official rate as it cost them.

What's your problem with that
Protect from what, dare I ask? Why should Igbos carrying arms on behalf of the Federal Republic of Nigeria be protecting only their brothers when they are paid to protect Nigerians?

Lol a group that recognized all over the world but because they are Igbo u label them terrorist ....let boko haram hold meeting in USA , or london or Germany or Australia
I doubt you care, but I have absolutely nothing against Igbos, or Fulanis for that matter. I'm only against fools like Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe who swore to uphold the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria who's Senate he gets paid for sitting in but is asking Igbos in Nigeria's law enforcement agencies to protect a tribe instead of Nigerians they get paid to protect. If he had a brain and ideals he would go and be a Senator of Biafra!

For your information, there are countries that recognise boko haram too, albeit under various different names, and they allow them to hold meetings. And you might want to take up the terrorist designation of ipob with the courts in the Federal Republic of Nigeria who designated them terrorists.

As per non Christians who are congregating here recently for unknown reasons, yes, they should also consider allowing Christ to minisiter to them, so they dont just arrive in the section transferring the drama from the other sections they're coming from. In other words, get God with all your getting.
I think the "non Christians who are congregating here" are actually here to challenge you and have emphatically stated that they want nothing to do with your Christ. Many of them actually are asking you too to abandon Christ and become "non Christian" like them.

But note that this is not your yard where you get to decide who comments here unless I missed the memo stating you bought Nairaland from Seun.

This just makes the Senator's comments more stupid since he says any Igbo man in a Nigerian law enforcement agency should behave like boko haram. Or did you just decide to miss what he was calling for?

Thankfully, most Igbos are way too smart to listen to him.
