I really can't stand when people make assertions that have no basis in facts and that they can easily check for themselves because I can't work out if it's done because they do not know or they know but are lying.

The Star of David is two equilateral triangles. I'll leave you to do your own research.

Earth is amongst the things you ought to rule over, Anas, but I can understand if that does not extend to you as little is after all expected from those whom little is given, though I think you just want to argue this for the sake of it since Scripture is clear on the matter.

Sorry, but no devil worship for buda today.

Anas09:
Did you not see specifically the things Man was mandated to subdue?

It means a lot to me that's why I follow scriptures within context not reading my mind into it as you are trying to do here.

No, you are the one who haven't been keeping up to date. There's no amount of effort anyone wld make that wld change what the Scriptures have said long before we got here.

Why do I have to go read a book when you can easily post what you have read here about man's control of the Universe and it's elements.

I think you shd be the one doing that and posting their results here since you have been the one postulating that Man can control the Universe.

I'm surprised how you didn't make any attempt to show one single event of natural disaster that Humans controlled.

It is about you! Or do you all of a sudden think when you were going about making claims about me that it wasn't about me?

I dispute your claim that people lived 930 years with appeal that you take your nose out of one single book. After all, you did once claim to have a copy of v10cwocgj on your bookshelf waiting to be read, or have you forgotten and not read it yet? One who reads a book of such quality can not possibly make the claim you made here, not even if it's just on their shelf which makes me think you were doing that thing you do, talking for the fun if it with no regard to the impression your fruits make of you. Probably why you go about disparaging others too instead of allowing people to form their own impressions.

Please. I beg you. Do right here end your interaction with me, at least until you decide to use your brain. And don't say my name neither. buda will be most delighted.

Well the writer/author of Genesis knew better
I am under the impression you have something to do with the social sciences and now wonder if I got the wrong impression. If you had studied such subjects, I would be surprised if the evidence does not suggest the opposite, that people died a lot younger than even we today despite whatever the writers and authors of Genesis might have written.

it was common to live that very long, back early then, and this all because the degeneration and/or deterioration of the human genetic code hadnt had the chance of manifesting its bad effect(s) on human life and show how progressively worse the human body over time, has become.
We both know you have absolutely no evidence whatsoever for this, and the evidence does not support it.

Some say epochs. They are after all of a period when written information was sketchy and dates and age and history weren't kept properly.

Nothing has been proven Alien! They may have gotten their phd with no mention of their young earthism. Kurt Wise's thesis in fact inferred an earth millions of years old.

I repeat, there is no phd holder doing young earth science in any reputable higher institution, not even in Nigeria with our Gods being everywhere and there's a reason for it. Anyone doing science cannot refuse to acknowledge earth has been in existence for a very very long time.

They are not doing "young earth". They are doing science. And they have PhD from Harvard. And they believe that the Earth and the universe is young.

Check our Kurt Wise, and Nathaniel Jeanson.
I have checked them both out alien. Kurt Wise is not at Harvard, he studied there under Jay Gould and his thesis was contrary to his later young earth beliefs. This is he: "Although there are scientific reasons for accepting a young earth, I am a young age creationist because that is my understanding of the Scripture. As I shared with my professors years ago when I was in college, if all the evidence in the universe turns against creationism, I would be the first to admit it, but I would still be a creationist because that is what the Word of God seems to indicate."

He is saying he will stick to his beliefs regardless of the evidence which is intellectually dishonest in my opinion.

I could not find anything with which to form an objective opinion about nathaniel jeanson, apart from he studied at Harvard and does not appear to be doing science now.

This thread is not about evolution Alien, please don't equivocate it with young earthism, they are very cleary distinct.

Show me one single phd in harvard doing young earth if you would please.

DoctorAlien:
yeah, this is a nice idea. Some of them got their degrees from Harvard. You can start the investigation from Harvard.

exactly what evolutionists are trying to achieve, to infect every field of knowledge with their ideas, and proclaim them very essential to those fields. As though science was not moving on when evolution was not the ruling paradigm. But they have not succeeded. In fact, much to their chagrin, the various fields of knowledge do just fine (I say even better) without evolutionary ideas.

Lol. Just as evolutionists should have abandoned their ideas in the light of contradictory evidence.

Sounds to me like you're describing evolutionists.
Christianity Etc › Re: Age Of Earth - Scientists Lie! by budaatum(op):
DoctorAlien:
All these things are true only in your opinion and in the opinion of people who hold the same view with you.
Please note that "holding the same view" is insufficient. One must actually use ones faculty of reasoning and understanding objectively, especially with regard to abstract matters, and after doing so, go back and check one has used ones faculty of reasoning and understanding objectively, especially with regard to abstract matters, and learn lessons from there to ensure that when one next uses ones faculty of reasoning and understanding objectively, especially with regard to abstract matters, one uses ones faculty of reasoning and understanding objectively especially with regard to abstract matters even better.

That's how one gets to "true" that is closer to the truth, at least for oneself.
Christianity Etc › Re: Age Of Earth - Scientists Lie! by budaatum(op): 9:24pm On Sep 29, 2019
DoctorAlien:
Lol. When I say there are scientists with PhD who hold the Bible to be true, I don't mean PhD in poetry. I mean PhD in those very fields you consider science: Math, physics, biology, chemistry, engineering, medicine, etc.
First, the Bible is true, as in it does what it promises to do on the cover which is take you to paradise. But if you are "PhD in those very fields you consider science: Math, physics, biology, chemistry, engineering, medicine, etc", and hold the position of a young earth, then something is wrong there and we should investigate the institution that awarded you a PhD, because studying those sciences would hardly have left you time to consider biblical age as viably possible and you ought to have intellectually abandoned it anyway in light of contradictory evidence.

At best we would perhaps suggest you have a bias and are attempting to use pseudoscience to validate it.

The above bolded is the most important part of this post of yours. All these things are true only in your opinion and in the opinion of people who hold the same view with you. Very honest of you.

You had a point here. One shouldn't expect a Poetry Phd to know much on the matter if they haven't bothered to learn about it. But nor should they be making out its something they have a clue about. But I guess that's asking for some honesty - an admission of how little one knows. And as they say, flying pigs.

So budaatum, tell me, is this one ^^^ among the intellectuals?
Intellect is the faculty of reasoning and understanding objectively, especially with regard to abstract matters. One studies available information on a subject objectively, as in, without personal bias, preconceived opinions or subjective blindness, before coming to a conclussion on the matter.

The evidence for the age of planet earth being much older than biblical suggestions is rather overwhelming so 'intellectuals' who hold to a young earth, in my own subjective opinion, must lack somewhere on the intellectual scale where this particular subject is concerned.

They sure are not showing much book reading intelligence if they place one book so far above every other book on the subject, so I'd say their intellect, on this subject, is deficient and not completely there.

Pretty weird flex. I'm wondering what agreement needed to be put in place when all Seb had to really do was follow Leclerc's tow. Had Leclerc not provided the tow his first place would be in danger anyway with Hamilton running beside him so would not make any sense either way

If Seb reneged on a hitherto agreement then that is very poor form on his part and I won't be surprised if Ferrari did something to his engine as punishment for not falling in line.

Still I'm wondering why Leclerc himself was so slow. Seb was goneee. He would have had to slow down and yet again inadvertently bring Hamilton back into play
I want him fired. He is destabilising the team. Ferrari in fact need a stronger boss! Gone are the days of "we shall be discussing your contract Vettel!"
