MuttleyLaff:
Beware of the Scribes
38And he said unto them in his doctrine,
Beware of the scribes, which love to go in long clothing, and love salutations in the marketplaces,
39And the chief seats in the synagogues, and the uppermost rooms at feasts:
40Which devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayers: these shall receive greater damnation.

The Poor Widow
41And Jesus sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much.
42And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing.
43And he called unto him his disciples, and saith unto them,
Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury:
44For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living

- Mark 12:38-44 KJV

"My friends, not many of you should become teachers.
As you know, we teachers will be judged with greater strictness than others.
"
- James 3:1

"Well you are the self confessed teacher. I however for very good and obvious James 3:1 above reason, dont parade or profess to be a teacher. I do not teach anybody anything, what I do is put the information out there so as to provoke and make others think. Secondly I don't post information here because I want to convince people who know differently but rather I post to show people who know and are woke, like me that they're not alone"

James 3:1, above, is very instructive. You can see from above too, my stance with self confessed teacher(s) and also read from above Mark 12:38-44, how Jesus in that teaching, started with a cautionary advice about teachers:
''Beware of the scribes (i.e. one learned in the Jewish Law, a religious teacher) ....''

I know you appreciate Fr Mesmer for it was clearly shown in your earlier post but what I am saying is that the general opinion about Mesmer's contribution is not properly represented or misrepresented as the public felt ' hypnotism' was how to describe the new phenomenon ' but unknown to them, it was not new to rosicrucians who had been studying the nerve cell electricity long before Mesmer. As a matter of fact Mesmer studied Michael Faraday's extensive work on electricity. His fantastic works unknown to the public are well documented. I think a better glimpse of this energy is captured in Maria Corelli's ' a tale of two worlds'.

I understand you sir.

Ubenedictus:
God didn't bless these people, they are only milking their congregations.

There is a special curse in the bible for shepherds who milk their sheep in this way.
In 2005 after a similar church pastor would have stolen my money, stolen my car, my house and my beautiful twin sister, I was investigating churches with my cousin who manna fell from heaven for and we went to Oyedepo church. But I'll tell you first about Tunde Bakare church. Now that was a sermon. It's been years and I got a hole in my head so stuff leaks out but when I heard Bakare my heart literaly, as did I, leaped up and clapped for him and the congregation got up and joined in too. Quickly, as soon as the sermon ended my cousin and I fled and she said I was crazy! "They don't stand up and clap for Pastor!" I was like, "why not? It was a very good sermon!" And she said, "You are crazy", and warned me not to crazy at Oyedepo church.

On the road first try, moto full, road jam, I'm like "what the fuq!" And returned home, no way putting myself through suffer to mog in Ota from Ikotun! Following Sunday, two hours early while everyone' was still in bed, we arrived. Got to say, the space was neat and tidy, organised, economical, well aired, a decent view wherever one sat. I walked around and checked - na only cousin, me and ushers kuku de that time, though ushers watched with disapproval as I embarrassed my cousin. Just what one would expect from a mathematician, and I wondered if this was for real. I chose a seat near the back despite ushers ushering me front and watched the place fill up. Service began on time, no two hour noise making nonsense! And then Oyedepo preached!

At Bakare's, the feeling I'd had was a teacher teaching "calculus", which was impressive, but as I was leaving, I could see his congregation didn't understand a word he had said. While Oyedepo was going to one day teach calculus to his congregation but knew he had to start from 1 + 1 = 2.

In my own opinion, considering how well he's grown since then, building Oyedepo City and all, I think he qualifies as a competent individual who has most definitely been fruitful and multiplied and replenished and subdued and has dominion and is therefore, very blessed. I'm at least very certain that if I ever achieve ⅛ of ⅛ Oyedepo, I would say God blessed me.

I don't agree that he was "milking anyone dry". He is a teacher afterall, and must be paid. But if what Oyedepo is getting is "special curse" then I better tell God to not bless me but "special curse me" instead!

What ya say Ube, shall I oya nana nana na or not? Ok, let's ask.

Anyone here go Oyedepo church 2005? Come tell if it profit you!

Lift up your heads, o ye gates
And be ye lifted up, ye ever livin' black people
The King of glory shall come in
Arise Blackman, arise
Arise and denote thyself
Arise Blackman, arise
Arise and denote thyself
We've been sittin' in the dirt too long
And it seems we don't know when we're right or wrong
But help me sing my song, Blackman arise
Arise Blackman, arise
Arise and denote thyself right now
Arise Blackman, arise
Arise and denote thyself
For the moon shall turn into blood
And the rivers turn into flood
And the sun will never shine, Blackman arise
Arise Blackman, arise
Arise and denote thyself
Arise Blackman, arise
Arise and denote thyself
Remember we've been down here as slaves
And to get a little job you have to trim and shave
Your heaven becomes your grave, Blackman arise
Arise Blackman, arise
Arise and denote thyself
Arise Blackman, arise
Arise and denote thyself
For the time of rights is now
And you don't have to ask me how
You've got to make a move, Blackman arise
Arise Blackman, arise
Arise and denote thyself right now
Arise Blackman, arise
Arise and denote thyself
Every man on earth is a man
And every tub have to stand on its own bottom
No matter where you're from, Blackman arise
So arise Blackman, arise

@OP, I want to ask if Yorubas, Igbos, and even your people in Orolu Kingdom take their COWS to destroy their own farmlands?
Yes, my people take their 'cow' to destroy their own farmlands.

In the Orolu Kingdom, our farms are far from home and the roads were very narrow and we walked all day to get there that in the old days we will go at the beginning of the week and return on market day and Sunday. Now, the road is wide and tarred and modafuqas get on bike half hour and steal everything you planted.

You will argue that they are not cow, but they sure behave like lazy cows and destroy the work of sowers. And if you look hard on here too, you will see the herd of cows destroying!
