I couldn't agree with you less, this BBnaija is from the pit of hell and great destroying the little decent morales we have left. I am of the opinion that it should be banned permanently in this country. Imagine, after much nudity and vanity, the winner goes home with some million and some a jeep. While our first class graduates are not even recognised in our institutions and industries. SMH. angry
You can't blame BBNaija for giving some people what they want and making money off ignorance. What one can do is not be part of the BBNaija brigade oneself.

By the way, does bbn show contestants sleeping too? They had 24 hour bb in uk until it eventually lost audience when watchers realised how stupid it was making them so I expect bbn to go the same way as the dodo.

They will then turn around and abuse my bubu when there is no food on their table unlike the GEJ days when the lazy never went hungry!

Thankfully, the last elections show that not all Nigerian youths are lazy or Atiku would be president today.

I strongly believed, no party has the authority to review Supreme Court judgements nah, the law is clear, it's the highest court of Law with final say on any constitutional and political matters.
Of course you are correct. But some will claim my bubu is supremer, except here is evidence to the contrary.

The agreement was to deactivate monikers not to never post on NL.
So I can post as budareactivated? That's not fair my Lord. I ought to at least not be allowed to include any of my deactivated moniker in my resurrection or what's the point of deactivating buda.

Imagine if I claim budareactivated is a miracle! I could even wait for the third day and claim I went to hell!

Yes, separation of powers. But you know in an emergency situation, with dire consequences, the president can even suspend the constitution.
The US President cannot suspend the Constitution of the United States! Please provide evidence if you claim otherwise.

I am not sure how you are describing a unique set of Christians based on the criteria of believing John 3:16 but ok I guess I was referring to some Christians.
Good. Intelligent people like you know not to judge a whole bunch of apples by a rotten few, or some in this case, and when those 'children' grow up, or evolve I should say, they will abandon their childish ways of believing and seek to know and understand instead.
Christianity Etc › Re: Christian Justice System by budaatum: 11:12am On Jul 22, 2019
LordReed:
Ok which set of Christians don't believe Jesus died for their sins aka John 3:16?
Those who carry their crosses and go out there loving their neighbours and making the world a better place for all.

Those who do with their right hands and don't go yelling so their left hand hears.

Those who understand what Christianity is about my Lord, and not the empty cymbals that make the most noise that you do hear and unfortunately judge the entirety of Christianity by just as you'd likely judge a book by it's cover instead of by an understanding of the words in the book.

This is intimidation. Just imagine if this was some local girl accusing some local Fatoy! It would stop those raped from coming out and revealing the accused. There ought to be a penalty for revealing their address, except na Naija where everyone probably knew where he lived already and those outside are the Nairaland bloggers!

Please say you are reporting "what some Christians believe" my Lord, and don't make it sound like you are describing the entirety of Christianity according to what Christ taught. Also add that you do not wish to be corrected and buda will gladly leave you alone.

Xtianity teaches that those who don't believe in the mythology will go to hell.

We are all 'sinners', apparently.
"Going to hell" means suffering, which you do here on earth, and even you know that believing a thing will not stop you from suffering. Or has anyone told you their believing stopped them from being hungry?

It is a false teaching of some Christians that believing will stop you going to hell. You must do some work like love your neighbours too, at least!

Well, that's what Christians believe isn't it? Jesus went to hell so we don't have to?
That said, the "so" is right. Such a tiny word and I missed it first time around! But change the first part to "Jesus lived so", and you are much closer.

LordReed:
Well, that's what Christians believe isn't it? Jesus went to hell so we don't have to?
No! Not true. Christianity teaches that sinners will go to hell, or more accurately, that the wages of sin is death.

What is hell, my Lord?
Christianity Etc › Re: Christian Justice System by budaatum: 10:20am On Jul 22, 2019
LordReed:
So Jesus didn't pay for your sins?
No he didn't my Lord! One thing some miss is that Christianity is full of humptydumptys who words mean different things to and you my Lord, take the most basic humptydumpty's understanding and claim that's what the entirety of Christianity is.

Laziness, my Lord, is your sin, and no one will pay for it but you! And I call you lazy because I know you don't know what I mean and won't ask the follow up question to know, and even now I've said it, you'd still ask the wrong question in your attempt to prove me wrong. It's a test. Hint.

The United States is going to the moon again in 2024 to build a space center for advance research and launch of space military force, India will launch probe to the side moon on July 22, China has just built a state of the art airport to boost tourism and transportation. But my darling Nigeria is battling with resettlement of cows and appointment of ministers.
Who did we offend that is punishing us?
We offend ourselves. When a person spends more time praying for manna instead of learning mathematics what else should they expect if not manna and not how to add 2 and 2? Or is it not true that we reap what we sow?

Nations that know how to rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground will subdue it and be fruitful and increase in number and fill the earth and be blessed.

Whether he quits or not is irrelevant. The new PM will always chose a Chancellor of the Exchequer and every other minister. It's called 'forming a cabinet'.
Christianity Etc › Re: My Thoughts And Questions About Religion by budaatum:
Funny. Seems we have one thing in common. We don't believe in just about all the same things, and I guess a better answer to your question, "why do billions", can't be better put. Though let me add that many are not as opportuned as you are to be in a position to ask the questions or no one taught them they could.

So guess what Jesus did? He taught them to ask questions (though many miss this point).

joseph1013:
WHAT DO YOU BELIEVE IN?

I don't believe in:
Ascension
Afterlife
Allah
Angels
Demons
Fairies
Gingerbread man
God or gods
Heaven
Hell
Karma
Loch Ness Monster
Magic
Miracles
Rapture
Reincarnation
Satan
Souls
Spirits
Supernatural Realm
Talking ants, snakes, donkeys etc
Witches
Wizards

All these things are other-worldly--we don't know how they COULD exist. They contradict everything we know about how the world works. But that is not why I don't believe they are real. I don't believe in these things for a much simpler reason--there is no evidence that they exist.

If you bring me concrete evidence that any one of these things exists, I'll change my mind. Easy.

So why do billions of people believe that many of these things exist? The answer to that question is easy too. It is either because they are children and they haven't yet learned to question things they are told by adults, or they are adults and they haven't yet learned to question things they were told as children.

oh do pray tell, what is this wisdom that thous has sought and found that those whom profess to, and libe by the bible have missed?
I don't think I said I found what those you say live by the bible have missed kk. Though the Bible itself has stories in it about those who claim to live by it but failed to understand it. They crucified the dude who told them they didn't understand it, so I'd say they really missed something, or saw something I didn't.

In other words, you've been giving me a non sequitur. My argument is not for your likes who do not see the Bible as the greatest book on earth; who sees the book it as any other book that can be interpreted.

Wait...do you guys get a boner by arguing for the sake of it?
Love the way you lump one into "you guys" and "get a boner".

The Bible is a great book. Calling it the greatest is what those who haven't read much or understand little would say. And "interpret" isn't exactly the proper word unless you're translating it. "Understand" would be more appropriate.

No one is arguing with you Joseph. Just that what you called "the wisdom in the Bible" is not what "the wisdom in the Bible" is. And on here we do tend to correct misinformation least people be led astray.
