Exousiang01: And it's their text example you want to follow here in Nigeria in Osun state where yams rot in the ground because of heat. As I've said: budaatum: This is what my people say too that makes them come and harvest my yam early. And I am done with you. |

Peacefulplace: I caught my husband flirting in multiple women's comments when we were first together and engaged. I told him he cannot do that. He then stopped. But then I found out he was following ex's and other women alot on Facebook. I mean like 100+ other women with very inappropriate photos.
I told him to stop. He stopped for awhile and then I found out he did it again. I told him off again and so far he never did these things again as far as I know.
But tonight he told me that the two women that were accusing him of cheating, he actually was cheating with in the beginning when he first proposed to me.
Not cheating on person, just cheating online. He had me believing they were crazy. Only now, 8 months later did he tell me... In total though, we have known each other 2 two years. So it's been a long time.
I am so upset. He does not do well when I cry. He does not like it. So I excused myself to cry. He told me not to get upset, but I feel betrayed.
We are getting married this month and now I am so worried upset with him. I am 31 and he is 30. I am a Australian woman and he is a Igbo man. I am moving across the world to be with him. I have visited him many times but I decided to stick by him and marry him.
I am very upset with him and hurting from within. I am trying to deal with this pain but it is a lot. Should I continue to stay by my man? Or should I leave? So far he has not cheated for quite awhile and I am hoping he has learnt his lesson. . I think you ignored the warnings and married the wrong person and now can't live with the consequences. But you'll work out what to do when he hurts you some more. |

Exousiang01: Keep sending us links from UK websites. As your brain never tell you say every country get wetin dey grow for there. You are a very funny individual. Do we not import palmnuts and cocoa seeds to plant in Nigeria that grow quicker and yield more than our local produce? For your information, you can only grow yam in a greenhouse in UK because the weather is not right for it. It gets far too cold for yam to grow in the open. |

Zulum noted that over 1,000 teachers who have O-Level certificates as their highest qualification will undergo additional training that would allow them to attain minimum teaching qualifications. 1000 teachers with O-Level certificates, and one expects to have decent intelligent conversations with those they teach, lol. My own Osun State is no better despite Corpers mostly being the teachers. Ask most of them questions about the degree they claim to have and they'd tell you they are only here for the benefits, which are the underaged girls. |

Ezewuzie01: You know a man's true character and intentions by what he does and says in secret rather than in open displays of hypocrisy. If the NSA or DSS had not hacked into his call to Pastor Oyedepo, who would have known that Peter Obi had the wicked intention of waging a religious war against muslims in Nigeria? I still don't know "Peter Obi was waging a religious war against Muslims" from what I read of their conversations, though his grovelling to Oyedepo does worry me as it suggests these supposed mogs have far too much influence over Nigerians. One thing does delight me however. Ebi n'pawa does not seem to care what religion you are. FULL TEXT: What Peter Obi, Oyedepo said in leaked “religious war” phone call

Bias is everywhere I'm afraid. It's politics after all. Thankfully, the last US election showed more are biased against dump than Biden, and I'm hoping it's repeated at the elections in November too.

Konquest: The stats here on this thread clearly show that Nigeria is indeed a real underachiever when it comes to expanding the commodities value chains for localized consumption and export to the huge Nigerian Diaspora population.
The Ghanaians have mastered the art of TQM and this is why Ghana yams are widely exported in raw form to the UK and the U.S. We are so bad that our Ipekere in UK is claimed to be made in Chile.

This is unrelated to Lemmon and Musk (except the South Africa connection), but I just don't know where to put it yet I guess. https://x.com/cardiffprods/status/1768629201240748113?s=20Whites Only: Ade’s Extremist Adventure
The Nigerian British journalist Ade Adepitan is impressively open-minded and curious when he becomes the first Black person to spend a week in Orania, a “whites-only” town in South Africa. Orania occupies a strange position in the country – despite regularly being viewed as an attempt to revive or preserve the poisonous ideas underpinning apartheid, it is largely ignored by the South African authorities. As Adepitan speaks to local people, visits a school (where he watches an excruciating play) and gets kicked out of the community’s largest Afrikaner Protestant church, he asks the necessary but uncomfortable questions – and the hostility becomes increasingly palpable.

DaHighLife: IjeBos takes a more high-minded and idealistic approach to this, but he's not necessarily wrong. The implementation of the moderation policy seems inconsistent and capricious. And I agreed with Ijebos that the implementation of the moderation policy is inconsistent and capricious, and I gave an example of me reporting a person who called him an "n" without getting banned and he getting banned for calling someone an idiot, and myself getting banned for bullying a bully. But I guess I'm not idealistic like he is, since I can not deny what is actually real. DaHighLife: I'm at a loss to explain how a moderator would intervene in this thread solely to address one person's use of the word "idiot" while disregarding others' use of the same term and even harsher language, including tribal slurs. Don't be at a loss. We have found that Tinubu supporting mods would ban Obi supporters and vice versa. So yes, bias here is undeniable. DaHighLife: What troubles me further is that Bemeruca is evidently Benalvino3 and continues to post here. It seems everyone, including the moderators, is aware of this. How is it possible that despite using an embedded link to potentially phish for users' IP addresses and admitting to such behavior in the past, along with other things like admitting to identifying users' web browsers and phone numbers, Bemeruca and all his other known aliases have not faced even a temporary vacation? It's deeply disturbing that the moderators appear either unable or unwilling to safeguard the safety of users on this platform. Its a sad fact about this place that some have multiple monickers and don't mind losing them, unlike some who stick to one monicker because their reputation matters to them. It's also a fact that some users here are far more knowledgeable than the mods whom they can very easily outsmart. DaHighLife: If the moderators are unwilling to moderate effectively, it might be better to leave the platform unmoderated so that users are aware of the risks they're facing. The mods are tired of playing whackamole because they can't win, which is the reason I pleaded with Ijebos, and you I think, not to bother stooping to maga level unless you don't mind getting magadirty. There's after all a vast audience reading your comments and learning from your posts even if the maga you are responding to isn't. DaHighLife: However, I've seen enough. Best of luck. Edit: To top it off, it appears Nairaland won't even allow me to deactivate my account Lol that you are not allowed to leave, lol. |
