sonmvayina:I don't understand what you mean by "talking with both sides of your mouth", sonmvayina. Care to explain please? You've been here long enough to have noticed that the mouth of buda has many more sides than just 2. |
Pat081:Our own has decided to pay the politicians more money while you masses wait. |
|
Timesup2345:No one 'follows' buda. We are all free agents here and are responsible for our own actions and conduct and behaviour and what we think and believe. Do not cast others in hell for buda's transgressions. |
Happy Independence.

Ekemeze:Not all are fighting for whites or even fighting at all. Apart from the huge impact American politics has on the entire world, I am here to learn and discuss with other Nigerians how America runs it's democracy and how it does its politics and runs its economy because Nigeria has adopted the same ideology and systems and would someday also suffer from the same vagaries of American capito-democracy. Unfortunately, we are there already as can be seen, by our shoot before comprehension mentality in this thread. Good thing about it though, is smarter people would come along and see how far we got and know what to do and what not to do and how to evolve us further. |
Spiritscience:This got liked to my attention, thank you. |
sonmvayina:I so love how Jesus conducted himself in public and how he thought and reasons. And to be honest, it would be odd if a book reader like me did not admire Jesus and find something to learn from him. I prefer Buddha because he is not a Messiah come to save anyone but preached "get off your ass and save yourself", which I consider fairer since I can't really expect anyone to die for me, which makes me think of backward and barbaric human sacrifice. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aG8WqEyXIyc |
sonmvayina:Absolutely not! Just as Marduk and Tiamat did not exist yet we learn what we can about and from them. sonmvayina:Can't argue with your opinion. It's been held by many in the past and will continue to be seen as such by many far into the future. sonmvayina:Have you read Robert Graves? I think he is essential in understanding myths considering he listed so many.
|
Timesup2345:You should take credit. You pointed out what made us reflect. |
Maynmann:If you open your eyes and look you just might see. |
Maynmann:You are free to believe whatever you choose to believe about buda, Mayn, I know that my so called ego don't give a fuq what you believe. |
Maynmann:I myself can not claim the above supports my own experience, because I have total peace, both externally and within, and there is no unrest whatsoever where I am nor within me. I do agree however that the presence of unrest will eradicate peace, and that is the reason why I try not to promote unrest in my conduct or my being, and aim to promote peace instead. Guess I'm not the Ying and Yang sort is all, being not merely a duality. |
Maynmann:"Your ego", Mayn? Is it "your ego" when you throw words around? If it were my ego Mayn, I think you would have managed to destroy my tranquility and forget I have a brain and know how to effectively use it, but as you can see for yourself, the opposite is more likely. Yes, I've heard of Tzu Jan, but I don't see how it relates to the subject at hand or to buda who takes pride in the self-conscious and rational, at least as far as my conduct and behaviour is concerned and how I reason. It's not as if evolution happens overnight as you can see from China that continuously evolved it's thinking. |
Maynmann:This is so true. One learns from the outside what is and what isn't and then cultures what should be inside oneself and appear to the outside of oneself. Christians would say that that inside that one cultivates is what produces the outer fruits that one's fellow humans see that one has sown, but I guess you'd need to speak christianese to get the similarities. Knowing what is outside and what is within me helps inform how I conduct myself with those on the outside with whom I engage, Mayn, but neither is exactly my Greatest Kingdom of Tranquility, which is the inner inside peaceful state of my being. |
For those following, be aware the class might have moved. https://www.nairaland.com/7060475/cult-askers-knckers-seekers/6#124214436 |
Maynmann:I feel you. You find it difficult to ask what l mean and need to go about it in your usual Maynmannical way. Thankfully, we, buda have sufficient Saṃsāra do as not to be caught up in Samadhi. My Greatest Kingdom, which is within me, is the inner peaceful state of mind that gives me the peace and tranquility to deal with whatever life and Mayn throw at me right here and right now. See it as opposed to the Kingdom of God, which sounds more like an after one dies sort of kingdom to most, though the concept is understood by some to be similar. |
Explain how your "greatest kingdom" is outside and inside, Mayn, so one may learn! And ask how and why mine is inside if you care to know why I say so.
|
Maynmann:I should humour myself and answer my own question? And how would answering my own question answer the question I asked you which is, "explain what you mean by the "greatest kingdom"? Is my explanation your meaning or something? |
Ekemeze:Sometimes, we take a break to reflect I think, then hopefully, we evolve. But we'll see, I guess. Thanks for this, Ekemeze. |
Maynmann:So, the greatest kingdom is within and outside, Mayn? Interesting. I think my own focus is on the outside at the moment because I have spent many many years working on my insides, so I decided to buy Made in Nigeria since that concerns me more than my imaginary soul that concerns me not. Do humour me though and explain what you mean by the "greatest kingdom", for I would very much want to know please.

adecz:The fake app own is even better since her own looks like the photocopy of a printout of the fake app. But seriously! How can this girl go through our education system and think she can so easily swindle Nigerians and get away with it? In fact, how could she possibly have not been taught the consequence if find out? It's a shame she's damaged herself so, and I hope she recovers or we find out someone swindled her too. |
|
Maynmann:I am perfectly happy how I am currently doing, Mayn, buy thanks for your faith in my potential to evolve. It is very kind of you to say so.
|
Maynmann:I went to hospital today for a CT scan and on the way back popped into Foyles and my favourite mystic bookshop Watkins on Cecil Court. Very basic indeed, and very easily available for anyone who seeks with their own heart and soul and mind and being, Mayn, so no one need join "no secret or occultic thing", yet Maynmann fails to see buda who has never ever joined any "secret or occultic thing" but has simply bothered to read books that are readily available, and see Maynmann's attitude and conduct towards that buda who provides such books freely available online so others too may read and see for themselves that they need not join "no secret or occultic thing" because the greatest kingdom is within themselves.
|
Maynmann:I sent myself, Mayn. Organised information makes it much easier to derive knowledge, while 'all over the place' obfuscates and obscures and hides that which should be known and understood. |
Maynmann:That's why I created a thread for you to post it in so people can go read all of it there instead of it being disjointed and all over the place, but I guess buda done bad as far as you can see, which is a pity.
|
mbaise1000:I am not a neutral. Tinubu is my tribe person and I am obidient, though I do appreciate Tinubu scrapping fuel and currency subsidies and wish he'd scrap labour subsidy, but I see you resort not to insults like ignorant people do and appreciate it much. Please keep it up. Many others notice too, and it indicates you have a brain and know how to use it properly.
|
Maynmann:To be honest, you do post your old post over and over again to the point of boredom. See you repeating your Yahweh of Shasu despite me dedicating a whole thread for you to present it. Guess one would have to wait till you change the record and sing a new tune, because you currently bring Groundhog Day to mind. |
Maynman:Don't you get tired repeating yourself like a broken record? https://www.nairaland.com/7246156/israelite-god-yahweh-shasu-tribe |
helinues:But isn't that the thing, that if you are a nihilist you believe in something called nihilism? |
Be aware not to sink into anomie, I'd say, or you'd find yourself saying stuff like "school na scam", and "life is pointless".
