What is the conspiracy? Did you listen to the dispatch?

Did you watch the police presser on their description on what they saw?
No, of course not. So you just make up a conspiracy and believe it to be true, no?

forget bible quote, let me ask you, how did u manufacture Ur breathing??

Let start from there grin
I did not manufacture my breathing. I was born by my mother and breathed, so I guess if anyone has a claim to my life it's her, though she herself will tell you she may have been responsible for bringing me into this world but my destiny in it is entirely up to me.

Since u re the owner of Ur life, u should be able to kill ursef and wake ursef back at will na

U should be able to skip nature without any effect

U should be able to control even the unforseen circumstances

U should be able to tell what the future old for u

Tell me where ur soul would be by exact this tym tomorrow.

But I am sure u re not the owner of Ur body(it belongs to the earth) and Ur soul(it belongs to the supreme being (GOD))
This is like claiming I am not the owner of the food that I bought with the money that I worked for and ate because after I have eaten it I can't regurgitate the food back into the plate as it was before I ate it.

Either ways, you keep believing your life is not yours. The implication however is that you are not responsible for nurturing your self, and your manna will fall from the heavens because, "it belongs to the supreme being (GOD)", despite said God telling you you are responsible for it.

Alaye, Ur life isn't urs in the first place grin
Now, that's where you err. Your life is "not your's in the first place", and you think everyone is irresponsible for their life like you are.

Perhaps you are not aware that one can go and drink sniper and end one's life whenever one wishes to. Because once you understand that, you'd also understand that one can choose to live one's life however one wants to..

Read Genesis 3 perhaps. It's a good story showing how to be responsible for your own life instead of being a slave to others.

LordReed:
It'll take a while for me to reach this point. I think I was too steeped in the religion to easily acquire the notion that these are nothing but metaphorical and philosophical musings designed to teach ways of living even though I accept the concept. Also religious people don't make that transition easy since when discussing with them they take my stance as proof of their own beliefs which is kind of frustrating. Anyway I hope I can one day leave that baggage behind cos as you say my dear buda, it is freeing to learn from books.
Religious people tend to believe what they are told, and hardly become as children, abandoning what they've been told to believe and read the book with their own eyes. You'd see this in my Garden of Eden posts where believers believe the creation they read was created in God's image is the same as Adam and Eve, even though the dates given for their creation is different, and the tasks they were given are different, and the reward/pay is different. They'd even claim Adam and Eve whom they read lived for some 800 years after eating the fruit they were told would kill them, died when they ate the fruit. And that, despite the amazing things - becoming free from slavery and populating the earth - they read they went on to accomplish.

What amuses me is, Christians desire to believe they descended from Adam who was created from mud instead of being descendants of creations in God's image. No wonder they can't say "let there be light" without crying NEPA. Now, if they but eat the fruits of knowledge they'd rule over the earth and subdue it and etc, and when they say "let there be light", there would indeed be light, but they believe instead and tremble in the dark like demons.

As for making the transition, it's almost as impossible as camels entering through the needle's eye, though not completely impossible. One just need let Jesus spit on mud and rub it in one's eyes then go bath in the Pool of Siloam. Then shall eyes indeed be opened and you'd see the Bible and other religious books for the wonderful books they truly are, as in good for food and for opening eyes and good for gaining wisdom.

That day will indeed come however. It's hard to continue believing what does not produce the desired result, though many think it's paradise in heaven after they die, and not a state of paradise right here on the earth that they currently live on. And atheists will realise this when 'Christ' does finally open their eyes so that they may see. After all, to become an atheist, one must first ask and knock and seek with one's own heart and soul and mind and being, and when they do find, they will be dismayed, and when they are dismayed, they will be astonished, and will become king over the All.

It's an evolutionary process, my Lord, and you are evolving.

It would have been sad if he'd won. And now he's lost, I wouldn't be surprised if there's jail time to follow for him and his sons.

I guess he finally realized he was being an idiot when his money went where his mouth went.

KANYE WEST SPOKE with paparazzi on Friday night, where he said he did not realize he was being antisemitic and apologized for falsely claiming George Floyd died from fentanyl rather than Floyd suffocating from a police officer putting a knee on his neck, which caused his death.

When the paparazzi confronted West about his antisemitic statements, he said he didn’t realize what he was saying was considered antisemitic and that after having a mediation with Adidas who has officially severed ties with the rapper, he came to some realizations and became “humbled.” In his convoluted conversation, where he seemed to be making statements and walking them back simultaneously, he added that “When I see that video as a Black person, it hurts my feelings. And I know that police do attack and America is generally racist,” he said to paparazzi, via HipHopDX. “And I understand that when we got to say Black Lives Matter, that the idea of it made us feel good together as a people, right?”

And exactly why it is my right to speak freely aslong as I am not breaking any law. I deliberately spoke freely to offend a particular poster and expose his myopic thinking. Tucker Carlson is very good in riling up white supremacists with his speech, but he is exercising his right to speak freely.
Are you a proponent of free speech who does not care about how people feel irrespective of if it's lies or truths?

A preacher goes through a cycle when they get to the end and start preaching the same things all over again.

I only went to see what they were preaching, being not a believer myself, so after like the third cycle, I got bored and have not gone back

There's also the fact that preachers see themselves as shepherds and their congregation is their sheep. And buda don't do anyone's sheep, to be honest, me being a bit more of a goat.

The point of that post was to show that speech (not moderated) can turn out horrible for everyone, and it goes beyond MSM (left vs right) as some have earlier suggested on this post - a very myopic view of free speech. My free speech post has already triggered one of the supporters of the so called free speech above which was the point of my post.

The Rwanda genocide started from a free speech radio station. Examples of other aftermath of unmoderated speech below:
So, the image you posted was not you exercising your right to free speech, but an example of what free speech might be?

Rwanda, incidentally, was based on lies, just as that image you posted has no credible evidence supporting it.

I had to grin

As of this week, Elon Musk has officially closed his deal of $44 billion to become the new owner of Twitter. After an arduous and drawn-out process full of lawsuits, rumors, and a narrow escape from a full-blown trial, Elon paid up.

Last night, Musk closed the deal and subsequently began cleaning house and acting swiftly by firing the chief executive, chief financial officer, and more. Only time will tell what more Musk will make of his ambitious goals for the company – but one thing is for certain:

It appears free speech isn’t so free after all. At least for Musk, it comes with a significant cost. In his attempt to make Twitter a freewheeling platform, he’s paid a significant price.
At Parler, we have always believed that free speech is priceless and invaluable. Perhaps Musk might soon realize he could have saved his $44 billion and joined Parler, where free speech is actually free and where our users have experienced true freedom of expression since day one.

While Parler welcomes a “new Twitter” as an ally in the fight to reclaim the internet for free thought and expression, we’re eager to see how things pan out. There is an unbelievable amount of work to be done. Nonetheless, we won’t let the recent change in Twitter leadership interrupt or squirrel us in the process of building a truly uncancelable ecosystem.

Thank you for being a part of the Parler family. I promise you are a part of something real and necessary.

Buhari tends to become head of state and president when decadence has takes over and money has been squandered.

I recall when Shagari was president. Nigeria was so awash with dollars and corruption was at its zenith, or so many thought at the time. Buhari took over and there was dancing on the street, and Nigerians started queuing under WAI.

I recall when Jonathan was president. Nigeria was so awash with money, and corruption that seemed at its zenith under Shagari was like a plateau under Jonathan when corruption was on streroids. People had so much dollars they were renting houses just to store it and were hiding it in soakaways and carrying it around in ghanamustgoes. And it was time for Buhari again.

What's unfortunate is both times coincided with the fall in the price of crude oil, such that revenue had fallen when Buhari arrived and hardship became the order of the day.

Farmers all over the world get government support to boost the quality of their products. It is only in Nigeria that you will read in newspapers that Nigerian government has distributed fertilizers to farmers.Meanwhile,no farmers receive any fertilizers.
You will find that farmers all over the world that get government support to boost the quality of their products either provide some benefit to the government or force the government to be concerned about them, and Nigerian farmers do neither of those things.

Organise, and exercise your collective powers, and that would quickly change.

aieromon:
Investors who have setup rice mills buy rice paddy from farmers and there is nothing wrong with the quality of paddy rice. The issue is the low number of rice mills and the sophistication of their equipment.

If a market seller patronises a rice mill lacking in adequate destoning techniques, he/she will likely end with a poor quality product.
And thereby get a low price for our low quality product.

And the solution? Seize the opportunity to invest in a rice mill and sophisticated destoning equipment. But, of course, that's not the Nigerian way. We would rather invest in acquiring our manna from heaven than invest in providing our manna with the sweat of our own brow. And then we complain that it is of low quality while paying exorbitantly for what we import with dollars we don't have and for employment we also don't have.

Our worst enemy is indeed us.
