CoolUsername:It's not seen as a "gotcha" except by you. If anything, it's the same as those posting the N-word to test how far they can push what they see as Musk's absurd level of freespeech. |
Stenewiser:I do wonder too. Perhaps the nanny drowned the child, though read the preceding post of mine. |
Parachoko:I very much believe I do. And are you aware that simple first aid is a requirement for the job? And if you have a swimming pool in your house, you'd better include swimming lessons for your nanny too, especially if you have started teaching your child to swim? This parent was irresponsible, and is trying to blame others. And you'd hopefully be more responsible for your child in your house with your swimming pool, because even if they chop the nanny and the chef into tiny little bits, it wouldn't bring their dead child back to life. |
This is for the qanon believing magas.
|
Stenewiser:Did Davido hire his nanny and his chef to teach his son to swim I wonder. |
In a sane country, Davido would be the one arrested for neglecting his son! |
You got to wonder what Algeria wants to do with $12billion - $17 billion of weapons. It's not exactly the best use of a fifth to a quarter of their annual budget. |
PDPGuy:Inflation bursting. |
akwesenana:They don't, is my point. Least not to stick a díq in it. Most biology practicals have to do with cockroaches. And that's if you're lucky. |
Ọọni set to marry Aisha Buhari as 9th wife! According to this post.
|
AnonDude2004:I doubt he did practicals in biology class. |
Too many jobs and not enough workers, is a funny problem for a nation to have. What's funnier is when the solution is a reduction in jobs by causing a 'recession'. https://wolfstreet.com/2022/11/01/job-market-refuses-to-soften-fed-gets-more-stuffing-for-rate-hikes-layoffs-quits-job-openings-hires/

Freeze007:You are not led astray by a book! What leads you astray is your misunderstanding of the book and those who 0reach it to you. Those who brought it to you too were led astray by their misunderstanding for about 1500 years, until they opened their eyes and read the book and began asking question. And only a fool would not agree that they eventually ruled over and subdued and dominated. They ruled large parts of Africa after all, and they have constant light. And their language is spoken on most of the earth. Freeze007:But the stories in the Bible do teach peace and love and unity, if understood. And enlightenment too. Freeze007:Gods can not lie. And the Bible account is very true. What's not true and is a lie is current understanding, and its actually when one lacks understanding and just believes, that one fails to see the truth the Bible teaches. Unfortunately, most believe what those Christ said "woe" to preach, without realising they give serpents instead of the bread of life. Let me assure you that the Bible, with all its contradictions and falsehoods, is the "actual truth of Our God and Our Lord Jesus Christ". You just need to have your eyes opened so that you may see it for yourself. Below is an exercise for you. https://www.nairaland.com/6795272/reeves-pass Freeze007:The original intention of the book is to empower you. But those who preach it to you have not reached a knowledge of Good and Evil, and do not understand. And that is why you are sent the Holy Ghost, so you may look and see for yourself instead of believing your preachers. It's not that those who preach discord do it on purpose. They are just blind, and many follow them. And when you understand, you will learn to forgive them, for they know not what they do. Freeze007:They are like the ignorant preachers I mention above. One must learn to govern oneself instead of be governed by others. Freeze007:This, incidentally, was my very first question of the Bible when I read it at 9 years old. "Dad", I said, "why would a God be playing kalokalo with the life of Job". Dad said I should seek the answer for myself, and my task for the next 20 or so years was set. Freeze007:You might indeed go insane when you realise the extent to which you allowed yourself to be lied to and deceived, but the truth shall eventually set you free. https://www.nairaland.com/1412636/non-christian-chatbox-sticky/234#118013497 Freeze007:Do know that if you transfer your allegiance to buda, you will just be exchanging one master for another while you remain a slave. Instead, you should transfer your allegiance to yourself so you may be your own master. For only after you master yourself may more (rule over the earth and dominate and subdue it), be demanded of you. |
Stop beating yourself up! You've confessed. Now change! |
Olu317:It is not a syndrome to respectfully ask to be empowered, especially not here on a forum where most assume to be more powerful than others. Olu317:I was not fortunate to be in the quarters of people who'd inform me of such things. In fact, funny enough, I was in the quarter of those who informed me me of Greek and Egyptian history, lol. Olu317:I can't deduce from this which sword the Olufon carries. My lack of being informed, no doubt. |
It was only a matter of time for them to go one down the way they been playing! |
baralatie:I doubt it. https://www.nme.com/news/music/kanye-west-instagram-suspended-again-emmett-till-ari-emanuel-russell-simmons-parler-3339925

celebritylife:All the education his father provided "wasn't instrumental in Musk becoming a billionaire"? The Elon who left his mother's house to go live with his father Errol so he can read his father Errol's library of Encyclopedia Britannica? I feel you. Elon feels you too. As does Errol. |
KalioPeter:I didn't think I needed to, but if you insist, keep your diq in your pants and focus on educating your mind. |
And this op likes laclick!
|
KalioPeter:I don't think you've been reading posts on NL as you claim. Are you sure it's not the pictures of sex you've been looking at instead? There's lots of them for a young unfocused mind like your's to be swayed by after all. At least you know it's stupid of you, and that's perhaps a start. There's lots of older people than you constantly begging for money on NL just because they were stupid like you, and instead of focusing on their future by educating their mind they spent it educating their diqs. Just you know that you reap what you sow, and you should be good.

So you had to get told by a Yoruba lawyer before realising some Yorubas are Obidient? I guess you had to see with your own eyes.

kkins25:Purchasing power is not exactly an easy concept, and purchasing power parity even more so, but the clue is somewhat in the name. Imagine you were paid in a common currency called Big Mac (BM) wherever you worked. And say, in one country rent is 5BMs and in another it's 10BMS. We would say your purchasing power of a roof over your head in the 5BMs country is higher because you can buy twice as much. But now imagine you are paid twice as much in the country where rent is 10BMs than in the country where rent is 5. Can you see how your purchasing power is now equal since you can both spend an equal portion of your earnings on rent. This is of course a very simplified analogy, which is why the more complex purchasing power parity is used instead. There are many things that may make Big Mac's themself cheaper in one country than another. Cheaper inputs for instance would make Big Mac's cheaper. Its currently £3.19 in UK, which at say ₦750 to the dollar is, well, you work it out, which is probably why there's no McDonald's in Nigeria (as far as I know), where wages are very low. McDonald's relys on high sales, which Nigeria can not exactly support since one can spend a lot less getting full up at Mama put than what a Big Mac might costs. See the The Big Mac index. It's a form of PPP index. In fact, African countries with McDonald's are those with high tourist visits.

You gave a reference, but that does not mean you gave a surety for him, nor does it give them the right to trouble you. Ignore them! |
You like trouble! A smart person would have settled for the available Lucy and continue to enjoy the Precious money, but you want the Precious you can't have and would now lose the Lucy you don't want and the Precious you can't have and the bolt money they both pay you. Men. Half brain in head and the rest in pants. |
Op, do minimum wage in America and compare it to Nigeria, then let's see if you can purchase more in your actual earned Naira as you can on minimum wage in dollars. |
Olu317:We must have gotten wires crossed somewhere. Do educate me about that sword, please. |
Olu317:Can't say I know which sword the Olufon of the Orolu Kingdom uses as emblem of his authority. My point here was to make the same one you've made above, that Olufon is identified with Obatala, and not with Oduduwa. As for the author. See his name below.
|
adamusuleiman1:From Q! That's where he gets all his 'news' from when he hasn't made crap up in his head.
|
Olibboy:Sorry Olibboy. You may be talking about what's related to the topic of the thread, but I jumped in on responsibility alone and have not read the opening post, which is unforgivable of me, dare I say. Still, forgive me please. |
Olibboy:And what do you suppose would happen to me if I am not responsible for my carefulness? Would someone or something else be responsible for being careful for me? |
2Radii:My mum does not have a claim to my life! It's my life, so if anyone owns it it's me. I can't after all go to my mum and claim she is responsible for feeding me without her telling me where to go. It's about responsibility, and you may indeed differ to me. You may not be responsible for your own life, but I am most definitely responsible for mine and for whatever I make of it. I'm powerful in that way, I guess, instead of powerless like some. |

I know it's definitely an over-exaggeration but when I first read it, I was like, did you not pay attention in Biology classes?
